After what felt like far too long Shadow finally was able to push himself up and catch his breath. He was completely caught off guard by the small woman being able to inflict such damage to a man his size… His ego hurt more than just a little bit that he had been the man her resent attack incapacitated, even if only briefly. Shadow started after her at a strong walking pace. It didn't take him very long to finally get her within his visual path.

"You don't know who you're dealing with girl." Shadow barked as he continued his steps towards her but slowing his pace so she didn't catch him off guard again and bruise his ego any further.

The female squirrel stopped and giggled wickedly. He could also see the sinister grin on her face despite the fact her back was turned to him. "Oh?" She questioned before turning and locking her eyes on his.

Shadow stopped in his tracks as he watched the shadows from the tree branches move about her face. Even when enveloped in shadow he swore her green eyes held their bright eerie glow. "This bitch must be a witch." He thought to himself as he unintentionally brought both of his hands down on the hilt of his guns.

"It seems ta me that yer the one that doesn't know who yer dealing with." He barely could make out the smirk on her face, but fully noticed her lips press tight into a frow once her eyes darted down to see him ready to pull free is firearms. "Well… maybe ya do know after all." The woman raised her hands in surrender as she sighed. "I just wanted a few minutes alone ta breath." She groaned.

"I could have you lashed for this. Breaking curfew is bad enough, but attacking a Peace Keeper is a serious offence." Shadow walked up to her and turned her around before bring her arms down behind her back and tying them with rope.

Sandy giggled now playfully. "Are ya really gonna admit that little old me knocked ya on yer butt?"

Shadow growled as he gripped her bound arms and pushed her back towards camp. "Shut up." He harshly responded, causing the female to laugh again.

"Are ya gonna be the one to whip me?" She asked in a taunting manor. "I'm sure that'd make ya feel like a really big man, wouldn't it?" She continued to tease cruelly.

"I said SHUT UP!" He now gripped her arm tighter actually getting a slight cry of pain to escape her lips.

Shadow flinched a little inside, as he hated having to get rough with women, even ones that were as rebellious as her. He kept his outside demeanor more determined as he continued to force her back into camp. Hopefully she would get the message and stay out of trouble, but he after dealing with her for only a short time he knew he'd have to confront her again, and likely soon.

"Ya gonna give me my lashes now, or are ya gonna wait ta make a show of it?" She pressed him as if she didn't care one way or another.

Shadow pushed her down to her knees and yanked her arms up behind her back forcefully getting another cry of pain out of her. He then bent down and whispered sternly in her ear. "The next time I have a problem with you I'll be dragging your dead body back to this shit hole."

The hedgehog then pulled away from her and cut the ropes off of her wrists. Before she was able to pull her arms back to her body Shadow grabbed the back of her head and pushed her face down in the dirt in front of her. "Now go to BED!" He yelled causing some of the animals to move about franticly and make noise.

The woman pushed herself up quickly. Face covered in dirt and some blood. She stood up a bit off balance and then wiped herself off and then looked at the man she had just let apprehend her. He looked right back at her waiting for her to take her leave and head back to her tent.

She walked just outside her tents opening before looking back at him and smiling menacingly. "It was a pleasure meeting you too, love." She then disappeared into her family tent.

Shadow stayed a few more minutes to make sure she didn't walk about again to cause more trouble. At about half past the midnight hour he decided it was safe to let his men know he'd be checking out for the night, as he had to be up early again to keep the transition of workers moving smoothly.

When he finally made it back to his small cabin, he was surprised at the fact he was riled up. It'd be sometime since he'd been in a physical altercation with a woman. He had no problem fighting men and even dealing out punishment, but he also felt a bit sick inside when he had to deal with women… even this one, so why now was he so eager to release himself of this random sexual frustration? Perhaps it was different because she was able to fight back successfully, or maybe he admired her will. That determination and power she held in her eyes. He thought about that as he let himself satisfy his primitive needs. Maybe he wouldn't mind crossing paths with her again after all…
