Professor Dumbledore sent us off to bed after he introduced the goblet of fire. "Hey Lana, we forgot to tell you that Professor Dumbledore has a surprise for you" Hermione said. "What is it, mom?" I said. "You will see" Hermione said. "Mrs. Potter?" A voice said.
I turned around to see Professor Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall standing next to me. I looked at them. "Oh, a good evening Professor's" I said. "Hey, Ms. Potter. Professor McGonagall will be walking up to the Gryffindor common room with you tonight" Dumbledore said.
"Okay, thank you" I said. Professor McGonagall then led me and my family to the Gryffindor common room. when we got there we had to say the password to the lady who, was in the picture. this is a magical world and pictures move. the ones on my phone move too. I have an iPhone 12 right now it is the, latest one and it is big.
when we got inside I gasped with amazement. the walls were a red and yellow themed with Gryffindor symbols and red couches and a fireplace, and a tv was mounted up on the wall above the fireplace. I followed Professor McGonagall as we walked up the steps. Professor McGonagall led me to the staircase and a, hallway that connected to two rooms, one on the right and one on the left. "the room on your left is the girl's dormitory, and the room on your left is the boy's dormitory" Professor McGonagall said.
then I saw a door on the wall that was in the middle of the hallway. Professor McGonagall then opened the door. "you can go in now" Professor McGonagall said. I then walked into the room and saw that the walls were painted in red and yellow lining and Gryffindor wall decorations were all around the walls of the room, and the Hogwarts logo was above the bed, and the bedsheets had the Gryffindor symbol on them.
then I saw that there was a bookshelf in the corner next to the window and a Tv mounted up next to the bookshelf and a, bean bag was in front of the tv. the closet was next to the tv in the corner and next to the door. then I saw a desk in the corner next to where my bed was and a laptop on the, desk. there was also a nightstand next to my bed with a lamp on the nightstand. I then was confused as to what I was seeing.
"what was this room for?" I asked. "Do you like, it?" Ron, asked me. "What is this room for?" I asked with confusion. "this is your room Mrs. Potter" Professor McGonagall said. My eyes went wide with what I just heard.
what!? how is, this possible? "it is your room because I feel that you have been through a lot and that I And professor Dumbledore Figure that you would like some space" Professor, McGonagall, said. "Thank you so much, professor!" I said happily. "you're welcome, now time for bed. I want you well rested for classes tomorrow" Professor McGonagall said.
"Okay, Goodnight professor" I said. "Goodnight Mrs. Potter" Professor McGonagall said as she left. I then laid down and fell into a deep sleep. When I woke up the next morning I was feeling excited about classes today. the class I was most excited about was defense against the dark arts class and flying class.
"Ready for classes today Lana?" Hermione said. "Yeah mom I am exited" I said. "That's good" Hermione said. "We have defence against the dark arts today first then potions" Ron said. "Cool" I said.
"I still wanna enter my name in the goblet" I said. "But you can't Lana, it's only for people, who are 17 and older. and if you were 17 we still wouldn't let you" Harry said. "Why?" I said. "Because it's too dangerous.
and you heard what Professor Dumbledore said, once you enter there is no turning back" Hermione said. "That's bullshit" I whined. Hermione gave me a look."Okay fine" I said. "We should go to class now" Harry said. "Okay, Dad" I said.
I stood up and grabbed my things. I walked to classes with Harry, Ron, and Hermione. when we got to class our first one was defense against the dark arts. Professor Moody walked into the room. I was sitting next to my mom Hermione.
Professor Moody walked up to the front of the classroom. "Alastor Moody. Ex Auror, Ministry malcontent. and your new defense against the dark arts teacher. I am here because Dumbledore asked me.
End of story, goodbye, the end. any questions?" Professor Moody said. we stayed silent. "When it comes to the dark arts, I believe in a practical approach. but first which of you can tell me how many unforgivable curses, there are?" Professor Moody said. "Three sir" Hermione said.
Professor Moody began writing on the chalkboard. "And they are so named?" He said. "Because they are, unforgivable" Hermione said. "The use of any of them will..." Hermione was cut off when Professor Moody spoke up, "Will earn you a one-way ticket to Azkaban. correct.
Now the Ministry says your too young to see what these curses do. I say diffrent!" Professor Moody yelled as he slammed his chalk. "you need to know what your up against! you need to be prepared! you need to find another place, to put your chewing gum beside the underside of your desk Mr. Finnigain!" Professor Moody shouted. we all looked at the kid who was being called out on.
"No way. the old codgar can see out of the back of his head" the kid said. "And here across the classrooms!" Professor Moody yelled as he threw his chalk across the room. everyone ducked. "So which curse shall we see first?" Professor Moody said. "Weasly!" Professor Moody yelled.
I looked at Ron. Harry and Ron were sitting, next to each other. "Yes?" Ron said a bit scared. "Stand" Professor Moody said. Ron stood up.
"Give us a curse" Professor Moody said. "Well...my dad did tell me about one. The Imperious curse" Ron said. "Oh yeah, your father would know all about that. gave the Ministery quite a bit of grief for a few years ago.
perhaps this will show you why. and your daughter too since she doesn't know about it" Professor Moody said. "Well sir, my daughter is um new to this world" Ron said. Professor Moody said nothing and walked up to his desk. he then pulled a spider out of a jar.
I got a bit scared since I am afraid of spiders. "Imperio!" Professor Moody shouted as he pointed the wand, at the spider. I gasped. He then had his fun terrorizing the students with the spider. The spider then went over to me.
I shrieked in fear. kids were laughing at me, including my parents and the teacher as the spider was crawling on me. "Holy fuck!" I shouted. "Get it off of me!" I yelled as I jumped out of my chair. I fell to the ground and, tried to get it off. everyone was laughing as I embarrassed myself.
"It's okay Lana, he won't bite" Hermione said as she was laughing. Professor Moody then went the spider, over to Ron who was terrified of spiders. I sat back down in my chair. I and everyone else was laughing. Professor Moody then saw Draco who was laughing.
Draco is the bully of the school along with Crabb and Goyal. "What are you laughing at?" Professor Moody said as he made the spider go to Draco's face. Draco was whimpering in fear as the spider was crawling on him. "Eat shit satan!" I yelled as I was laughing. "What should, I have her do next? Jump out the window? drown herself?" Professor Moody said.
"Scores of witches and wizards have claimed that they only did you-know-who's bidding. under the influence of the imperious curse. but here is the rub. how do we sort out the liars? another, another" Professor Moody said. almost everyone raised their hands.
"Up, up come on. Longbottom is it. up" Professor Moody said. Nevill stood up from his desk. "professor sprout tells me that you have an aptitude for, herbology" Professor Moody said.
Nevill nodded. "There's the, umm...the cruciotus curse" Nevill said nervously. "Correct. correct. come, come" Professor Moody said.
Nevill walked up to Professor Moody's desk. "The torture curse. crucio!" Professor Moody said. the spider started screeching in pain. I cringed as I watched this. Hermione covered my eyes.
Nevill did not like this either. "Stop it! can't you see it's bothering him, stop it!" Hermione screamed. Hermione kept my eyes covered. Hermione then uncovered my eyes and I saw Professor Moody standing in front of us with the spider on his desk. "Perhaps you can give us the last curse Mrs. Potter?" Professor Moody said. I held onto Hermione's hand. I said nothing and shook my head. Professor Moody pointed the wand at the spider. "Avada Kadavra" he said.
green sparks came out of the wand killing the spider.
