After the flying lessons, Budgie watched as Zak and Pips tried to get Crysta to hang out with each of them alone.
Both were failing but it was amusing to watch the two try anyways and it made Budgie laugh when for some reason Batty got involved.
Just then, something that sounded similar to a motorcycle was making it's way towards the clearing along with loud boisterous laughter.
"Hey Pips!" A familiar deep voice called out, both Pips and Budgie turned to see the beetle boys come into the clearing to find the male fairy.
"Guys!" Pips greeted with a smile, Budgie remembered her encounter with the four beetle boys when they'd gone to rescue the baby animals.
Budgie knew who each of the beetle boys were, Stump was the fat one of the gang where Root was the skinniest while Knotty was the short one.
The youngest of the gang was Bark who has the appearance of a ladybug. "What're we going to do today?" Stump asked Pips as they talked to each other.
Pips shrugged in response so while the older members of the gang tried to figure out what to do for fun, Bark had wandered over to where Crysta was at.
"Hi Bark, ready for another lesson?" Crysta asked sweetly, Bark nodded with a smile. "I'm ready and I bet I can grow another tree." Bark replied to her smiling.
Crysta smiled at his confidence so she began to explain what she wanted Bark to do as she handed him some fairy dust to help grow some new flowers and trees.
Budgie watched the two as she flew a little closer. "You can do this Bark!" Budgie silently cheered, but unlike last time though, Bark wasn't able to grow anything.
"Oh." Bark said in disappointment, he was sad. "Don't worry you just need to practice." Crysta told him, Bark nodded but he wanted to try one more time to grow something.
However, the older members of the beetle boys wanted to go have fun. "C'mon Bark! Let's go have some real fun!" Root called to him, but Bark ignored him and tried again.
"We get that helping things grow is good for the forest but it's very difficult to do." Knotty stated, he, Root and Stump thought that Bark got lucky the last time with the magic.
Bark knew that his friends didn't mean to discourage him. "It's not that hard if you know what you want to grow." Budgie spoke up, the beetle boys had jumped at her voice.
The beetle boys had heard about her and Zak becoming fairies but were confused. "What do you mean by that?" Stump asked her, he and the others circled Budgie to listen.
"You guys just don't see the big picture." Budgie replied to Stump, the boys were still confused. "Bark, just imagine the gardens that I showed you." Budgie told Bark gently.
Bark then remembered the gardens that he'd seen back in the town and knew that Budgie was the one who planted them so he imagined the gardens as music started to play.

At the end of the song, Pips and the beetle boys were amazed by all the new flowers that had been grown by Budgie and Bark while they had been singing about growing more flowers for the forest.
"D-did we do this?" Bark asked shyly, his friends nodded at him. "See? Anyone can help plants grow if they try their hardest and picture what they want to see." Budgie said with a smile aimed at Bark.
Crysta and Zak were both amazed but also proud that Budgie and Bark had worked together help the flowers grow. "Nice work you two." Crysta praised them, both Bark and Budgie blushed at the praise.
"Can we do this again?" Bark asked Budgie, she smiled and nodded which led to Bark hugging her. "I'm also sorry about what happened when we met." Budgie told the beetle boys, they smiled sheepishly.
"It's alright but we should've been more careful." Stump replied to her, the older beetle boys knew that some humans didn't like them buzzing around their personal space so they needed to be more careful.
"So..we good?" Budgie asked nervously, the beetle boys smiled. "We're good!" The four responded cheerfully, Budgie and the beetle boys laughed as Pips smiled fondly at the sight, happy that they were friends.
Zak decided that now was the time for them to all hang out together to which everyone agreed so they all flew through the forest as they played a game of tag mixed with hide and seek and it was fun for everyone.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the forest a big group of construction workers were taking down the dead trees so they could be turned into wood or paper but thanks to the machine, the evil entity could sense it.
The evil entity decided to use the machine as part of his escape plan but he had to wait for it to get closer as the humans stopped working for the day so the entity waited patiently for the workers to come back.
"Very soon, I'll be freed once more and then I can destroy Ferngully!" The evil entity thought, the entity couldn't wait to cause destruction but knew that he had to sleep a little longer to get back his full power.
Back in Ferngully, Zak and Budgie both felt a cold shiver run down their spins despite the warm weather, that meant that they could sense something awful was going to happen and they needed to stop it soon.
Their eyes locked on to each other as Zak and Budgie nodded in agreement to investigate the first chance they got to be away from their friends before alerting them to danger that was coming to the rain forest.
New chapter done! I don't own the Beetle boys as they're from the movie Ferngully and I don't own the song in this chapter.
