Sup Azure here I've been thinking of so many things lore-wise for this new world so yeah hope you like it also who should pilot the other part of Gurren Lagann when Simon finds him again like should pilot Guren now PIERCE THE HEAVENS on to the story

Where am I...it's dark, cold'

In a dark void we see Simon floating, said void seemed to expand endlessly

'W-Who am I'

He then turned around and was met with the back of a person, he was tall, he wore a red cape with a skull that seemed to be wearing glasses, it felt familiar to Simon but he couldn't put his finger on it, he had bright blue spiky hair. The man turned around and Simon saw he wore a huge smile on his face, it felt reassuring to Simon like he knew that smile before and it's always told him that it's going to be alright no matter what.

"Oi, you lost your drill Simon, again really?"

So that was his name Simon yeah, yeah memories came rushing to him, yeah he was Simon the Digger how could he forget this but there was a problem with these memories. They seemed to be broken like the pieces were missing but in his hand was a small golden drill giving off a green glow, Simon looked up and saw not only the blue-haired man he saw multiple people and a giant ship with a face he felt like he knew these people.

"SIMON GO!" every single person screamed out

Simon not remembering these people but still felt something from them like they were his friends smiled and clutched the drill then green energy spiraled up and wrapped around him and formed a giant mecha, Simon couldn't remember much but remembered the name of this mech. This mech was his soul, a part of his allies, he had so many memories here but he couldn't remember them but that name he couldn't forget.

"LETS GOO GURREN LAGANN!"

The mech in response flew upwards into the darkness leaving a trail of green energy, Simon then turned his head to his right and saw a lady but she was obscured by a white light but he could see her mouth curled into a smile.

"Let's go father after all you went through, you're finally"

Gurren Lagann reached the supposed ceiling of this place and shattered it with his drill

"free!"

Simon opened his eyes and reached his hand to where his drill should be and there it was around his neck and unchipped Simon smiled even though he might remember much he still felt happy to have his drill. Simon looked around and saw that he was in a courtyard filled with bustling people Carla the woman he had saved was resting next to him her legs still broken she was fast asleep. Simon had gone to get food for the kids and was able to get some bread and a few potatoes, when he went he got a lot of weird looks, it made sense he was covered in the tears of what seemed to be his jacket and had on his head these weird glasses.

Simon had learned the name of the kids he saved the quiet girl with the red scarf around her neck was Mikasa, the boy with blonde hair and eyes that seemed to analyze Simon's every movement they felt familiar and Simon shivered at that, but Eren the son of the woman saved, Simon felt something both. As Simon was thinking this he and Eren locked eyes, something sparked between them, and their eyes both flashed green, but it was quick and no one but them could catch it.

"So Simon what are you"

Simon broke his staring contest with Eren to look at who asked the question and it was Armin

"I'm human Armin"

The boy in question looked confused

"I-It's ok Simon we won't hurt you or anything you saved Eren, Mikasa, and their mom I just need to know are you human or some variant of Titan?"

Simon sighed and grabbed his drill and stabbed it into his arm drawing blood and showed it to Armin who was shocked at what the older man did.

"See Armin I'm human too I have a beating heart I breathe the same air, I am human."

Armin believed the older man but something was gnawing at him

"Ok, I believe you but do you remember where you come from or anything like that?"

Simon shook his head

"Sorry, Armin but I can't remember much. All I see are bits and pieces but I remember one thing besides my name I'm searching for something, I'm searching for Gurren Lagann."

The kids were confused Eren spoke up

"Gurren Lagann..what is that, is it a person, a group?"

Simon was quiet; he couldn't tell the kids that Gurren Lagann was a giant metal mech. They would think it's a titan so even though it pained him to do so he lied to the kids. It was wrong for sure but he couldn't cause them to panic. He would tell them when they were alone and away from all these people. Simon looked at Eren the boy was quiet but Simon could feel something from the young boy and it was rage, rage at the titans that took his home, rage at the Armored for nearly killing his family.

Simon got up and walked up to the younger boy and ruffled his hair. Eren looked up and saw the older man looking down on him with a slight smirk.

"So Eren you want to get revenge right?"

The younger boy nodded his head

"Y-Yeah I wat to get back at those Titans for destroying my home and nearly killing mom!"

Simon smirked this kid felt like someone he knew along with a little bit of a younger him

"Ok, Eren if that's your wish I'll help you."

That surprised the younger boy

"R-Really Simon."

Simon nodded" Yeah Eren we'll show those bastards the power of the human race!

Those words flew out of Simon's lips naturally as if he had said them before

Eren hugged the older man who just smiled, Simon couldn't let Eren get himself killed and this kid for some reason Eren had the same energy as him. It wasn't as big as Simons but it was the biggest one between the little group with Mikasa coming in second and Armin in 3rd. Simon smiled and looked up, for some reason he woke up in a strange new world without any memories. Maybe following this kid would help him find Gurren Lagann which would hold all the answers he sought.

'I'll find you Gurren Lagann."

Eren on the other hand was happy Simon was going to help him but whenever Eren looked at Simon he felt this want to be closer to him something was burning in him but he couldn't figure out what

Forest

We find ourselves watching two titans Simons roar had gone beyond the walls and reached the whole world all Titans had followed the command the roar had given STOP. But something else happened and another feeling awakened in the titans after being met with their true founder after all these years had a reaction the spiral of their founder which all subjects of Ymir had even if it's only in small quantities, burned it raged with a longing to reach the stars.

The bigger titan stared at its fellow titan and pounced on them, the smaller titan was confused and tried fighting back but the bigger titan ripped off the smaller titan's arms and ripped off its jaw. Leaving it with no way to fight back, it then turned the smaller titan around till its nape was facing the bigger one, the titan realizing what was going on struggled even harder but it wouldn't get out. Then the bigger one put its mouth over the smaller one's nape and it opened its mouth, saliva dripped out of its mouth then it clamped its mouth against the smaller titan's neck eating the human inside.

But as the titan consumed the person the spiral of the founder which all subjects have spread throughout its body changing it, it grew from 13 meters to 16 it grew plates across its arms and shoulders. Then the more massive variation took place, its flesh across its stomach began stretching and stretching till it split open making a sort of mouth it then began leaking blood, teeth were then made to stop all the blood inside the titan from leaking. The titan's original teeth then sharpened and plates then covered its face leaving it looking monstrous with its second mouth leaking blood from time to time the shining plates and then the glowing green eyes.

The titan had changed including the original objective it had changed from eating a shifter to return to human to reunite all the founder's spiral.

The beast roared, and throughout the whole island, specific titans consuming the other closest titan to them. Change never being the same except the glowing eyes and second mouth, one had grown fur, paws with massive claws, a scorpion tail, a shell, and wings underneath said shell, the other was able to make drills out a crystal-like substance, another had become more feminine and was able to control other titans somewhat, another gained the ability to see further into the future, another had grown bigger way bigger, another had grown claws and a monstrous jaw, and the last one had become speedy and was able to dig into the ground.

These Titans were drawn to each other and after a long trek they finally met in a single spot, the armored titan was the first to arrive, then the drill titan, followed by the future seeing titan, the giant titan, the female titan, the mole titan, the chimera titan, and the jaws titan. All the Titans stared at each other, it was quiet, tension was thick, they didn't trust the other while each had the same objective it was suicidal to trust others.

The armored stepped forward and the plates around its neck opened up and steam leaked out as the human inside came out. He looked like he was young only 14 but while you could tell his age he didn't look normal. The boy and spirals going up his right arm leading to his chest where his heart was making a massive spiral, he had black hair and soft features.

He spoke

"So assume you all had heard the call of our founder?" the others nodded " Then you already have his memories" hey boy then smiled and blushed while hugging himself

"You all know the feeling of his bravery his kindness and weakness and the truth of this world" The others nodded rapidly "Then you know what we must do" the boy pointed his arms to the sky "we must return all the spiral in the world to the founder so we may pierce the heavens together"

The Drill titan walked forward and its nape opened up as well revealing a girl that seemed to be in her early 20s she had dark navy hair and her arms were covered like the boy but the markings led to her hands.

"What about the shifters and the King and Marley, they betrayed our founder by using the powers he gifted us for killing each other, and then they stole Gurren Lagann

There was anger in her voice at the sins and the ones who were given such power by their founder creator and daughter and they used it to do the very thing their founder was against, humanity fighting each other. Killing each other so indiscriminately just because they were different and then that coward king caving in and doing this to his people he was worse than the Anti-Spiral.

The armored just smiled

"Easy we take their spiral they don't deserve it, how could they do this to our founder, and then we go for Marley and annihilate them and finally we can all be one with our founder and reach the stars ."

All of them nodded and began their plan, to acquire the founder's spiral who they were before didn't matter because all of their personalities who they were what they stood for came from the founder and they were just pieces of the founder and they wanted to return from whence they came

Crystal cave

In a cave underneath the earth embedded in a crystal wall was a 15-meter titan the crystal then cracked around the thing's hand and broke off and the hand was not fleshy, it was mechanical.

Unknown

We find ourselves in a ship and not the seafaring kind, it was whizzing through what seemed to be space it was filled with glowing buttons and people handling these types of things.

"Captain we will reach earth in approximately 5 years and 5 months!"

"Then speed up!" the captain yelled

Getting a better look at the captain we see that he had paws instead of hands feral looking eyes and blonde hair

'I'm on my way Simon'

Hope you guys liked it and ask any questions at all I'll answer them in the next chapter like on how Titans work now because they work a little differently. Also, I'm thinking to have Historia pilot Gurren but maybe you guys can suggest someone else and this fic will be different from the original AOT storyline so *maybe* Sasha won't get shot, and Virals coming back and Gurren Lagann's in some form of cave also I made him a little bigger like 10 meters bigger Azure out.
