you know it's happened to me before , i think im doing great with a story and i feel like walking on clouds then i read another persons story and think well...my story sucks. so here is the back ground story for what happened to Claudia and if your still reading this , thank you for continuing even through my bad writing ..on with the story PS the font for this chapter will be this cause it looks more backstory-ish
3 weeks and 2 days before Claudia disappeared
it was a standard ping , a quick trip to Lititz Pennsylvania for an Artifact that was that it would melt a persons flesh i know seen it before right? well this one was different , instead eating from the Waffle iron , they would melt like they were made of Candles but .they didn't know that yet
having Myka and Pete already on a mission Artie sent Steve and Claudia to retrieve whatever it was. It was dangerous
"Why did have to go why not Artie and Abigail ?"Claudia sighed "Because Artie is too old, Per what you say all the time and Because Artie said so "Commented Steve "now lets hurry before it gets worse " There were 3 victims so far , a 23 year old male who was interested in Music and art , a 56 year old man who was a retired police officer and a 62 year old woman who was the retired Judge of the town , at first Artie thought it was Common house fires none of the victims were related the only thing they had in common was a closed case about 4 years ago before the cop and judge retired , the case was a Drunk driver hit and run they caught the guy and sentenced him to 15 years in prison , The 23 year old was the victims brother so far nothing made sense
"Why would someone kill a police officer a judge and a kid with an honor roll?" Claudia questioned "I don't know but we have to find it quickly befor-" Steve started "i know i know before things get worse , you've said that a million times since we got here " Claudia finished "But we have to get to bed before i get mean , its 11o'clock at night Jinksy i need sleep "
"I know you need sleep Claud but we have work to do and i'm tired too , try sleeping where you are" Steve told her
"But its a car seat Steve i wont be able to sleep unless its in a bed please "Claudia Begged finally giving in to her pleads they bulled up to a hotel .Getting out of the car with Claudia following close behind
"Hello do you have a reservation ?" the Lady at the front said "Yes two rooms for Jinks/Donovan please "Steve replied he looked at Claudia who had fallen asleep on his shoulder while standing up "I'm sorry but we have that down for one room "The Lady responded "what? but i specifically requested two rooms " Steve said trying not to wake Claudia up "at least tell me there are twin beds in the room"
"Im sorry but its a double bed , so you and your girlfriend will have to share , if thats ok with you "the woman Stated "we have no others rooms , i apologize "
"No it's fine i mean i hope she wont mind "Steve murmured "Do you at least have an elevator so i don't have to wake her up ? she gets really cranky if she's woken "
"We do have an elevator to the right and here is your room key "said the front desk lady "Thank you very much "Said Steve as he picked Claudia up
walking up too the room he noticed Claudia felt really light and thought he should talk to her about eating more
tucking her into the bed and climbing in to the other side before he fell asleep he felt Claudia lay her head on his chest and he fell into a dream less sleep
3 weeks and 1 days till Claudia disappeared
Claudia woke up to find there was someone else in her bed , she tried to remember what happened last night but all she could remember was falling asleep on Steve and being carried she lifted her head and saw she was still laying on Steve " Steve ...Steve ...dammit Jinksy wake up "Claudia whispered
"Wha-whats wrong , what happened ?"Steve asked groggily "Why are we in the same bed together , what happened last night ?"Claudia questioned
"Well last night you confessed that you were in love with me and i returned those feelings , do you not remember ?"Steve joked "Steve you are my soulmate i love you with all my heart "Steve mocked
"Oh that yea i remember but i don't remember when you thought you could lie to me "Claudia quipped back trying hard to fight the blush creeping up her neck "OK , the hotel had no more rooms and this was the only one they had, you had already fallen asleep so i took it and brought you up here to sleep so you wouldn't bite my head off in the morning and i guess mission successful ?" Steve asked
"Yea you were right , but we must get up and chase the Artifact so we can leave this town once and for all " Claudia groaned
turns out it was the criminals' sister who wanted revenge for the mis-trial of her brother , she was the one who was driving and hit the oncoming car with full force and demanded they release her brother , she killed the College student the cop and the judge trying to get him free how? they still had no clue
so here they were looking through the sisters apartment looking for the artifact
"I'm calling Artie this is ridiculous , Artie we know who did it but not what the Artifact is , i Hacked into the coroner's office Data and saw that all the Victims melted like they were made of Candles gross the only way they could I.D the victims was by their dental records "Claudia informed Artie

"So be careful yea that sounds easy with this job that -"Claudia was interrupted by Steve "Claud" He warned "Just a second Steve as i was sayin-" She said as she turned around to see the sister with a shard of glass against Steve's throat "Woah woah woah Lisa right? listen you don't want do this , you just wanted your Brother out of prison , you were the one driving but he covered for you like he always does , just put the glass down " Claudia Begged
all while pulling a camera out of Arties bag that she 'Borrowed'
"No i won't put it down you have no idea what it does , i didn't mean to kill those people just threaten them and they touched the glass and just started melting , i can't go to jail with him i have to get him out "Lisa Cried pushing Steve out of they way toward the floor and still holding the glass over him
"of course the ashes were turned into glass , thats why it was harder to find than usual , Lisa drop the glass , you don't want me to shoot you "Claudia said while drawing her tesla " "fine i'll drop it "Lisa Said and dropped the glass right on top if Steve who couldn't move cause Lisa was holding him down Claudia dove for the glass and just in time before it hit Steve she grabbed it and dropped it into a neutralizer bag "Steve are you ok ? "Claudia worried "Don't worry im fine just might take a minute to asses myself , did you get the Glass ?"Steve asked
"Yea its in the Goo lets go home now and rest "Claudia sighed "Wait ?aren't you going to arrest me for murder ? i killed 3 people and almost killed your friend "Lisa asked from the corner where she had run to "Don't worry "Claudia said with a smile " The Cops are out side waiting for you "
Looking out the window there were indeed 3 police cars outside "Wait ..when did you call them i saw you the entire time you were no where near a phone "Lisa commented "Well you see when you were distracted with Steve , Sorry about that by the way , I froze you two and Called them "Claudia said triumphantly "And how are you going to escape ? you broke into my apartment and is the one with the weapon "Lisa said
"oh i though of that ,but you see here's the thing im going to freeze you again and escape" Claudia quipped as she pulled Steve to his feet "Say cheese "Steve said as he lifted the camera
as the police arrested her they were half way out of town "So that was ruff huh Claud ?"Steve Asked from his spot driving when he heard a sniffle and looked at Claudia in the passenger "Steve i could've lost you again , i would have if i didn't think today and brought that stupid camera "Claudia explained she was on the verge of a breakdown and Steve knew it "Hey its ok , i'm here now and all is good don't worry tonight how about i buy you a drink yea?
"Yea that would be nice "she responded and the rest pf the drive went by with very little words
4 hours later
"So you promised me a drink and i am cashing that in "Claudia said with a smile
"ok a promise is a promise i'll be back in a little bit , going to get stuff cause i do not trust you drunk near other people " Steve said grinning
1 more hour later
Steve was back and they had gone through 2 cases of beer by now
"Stevie i wan you tuh know i lovveee youuuuuu "Claudia slurred
"I know Claud i love you too "Said a very sober steve who out of respect for Claudia hasn't drunken much to keep an eye on her "Come on Steve you have to drink you promised "
"Actually i promised to buy you a drink not drink with you "Steve replied
"Please just drink with me "Claudia whined
"Fine but i will drink two glasses thats it " then after 1 more case of beer and a bottle of Whiskey he blacked out
The next morning
'Augh my head is killing me , what happened last night 'Claudia thought sitting up in a bed that was not hers 'what the heck? what happened last night' that's when she noticed that Steve was in the bed with her and didn't have a shirt on , freaking out ,she got out of bed , noticed she had no clothes on got dressed and ran to her room to change
"Hey Claudia , you ok ?"Steve asked from the other side of the door concern in his voice
"Yea i am just a little headache , but i'll be fine you can go "Claudia commented "I think we should talk about last night , i don't really remember anything after the Beers , do you know what happened ?" Steve questioned waiting for her to open the door
"i uh dont remember anything either lets just forget about it and hope it never comes up again "Claudia tried "i'll be down in a couple minutes just need to get dressed "
"oh ok , don't worry i won't mention it to anyone "Steve assured her
and they left it alone for three weeks neither of them had mentioned it to anyone , Until Claudia found out she was Pregnant
(i know i keep putting these things but im sorry )
After she left the Warehouse and disappeared into the night , as she pulled into a rest stop in some town in Colorado
she had to find someone to help her use the Janus Coin but she couldn't ask Myka, Pete, Artie and definitely not Steve so she turned to the only one she knew she could trust with a secret , so she pulled out a phone she bought and dialed a familiar number "Hello? who is this " said the voice "Hi H.G ? i need your help with something "Claudia told the older woman "Claudia? where are you , Myka just called me in hysterics that you disappeared , what do you need help with ?"Asked the Time traveler
"Don't tell anyone i called you , just meet me in Colorado in 2 hours i need your help " Said the younger woman "Ok i will just be careful please , Artie will kill me if something bad happened to you "
2hours later in Colorado
"Ok Claudia what do you need help with , the others are worried about you "H.G said
"i Need your help cause your the only one i can trust that knows how to use the Janus Coin and keep it in a safe place "Claudia explained looking at the older woman "So you want to split your personality into two , Why would you want that?" Asked the Brit
"Because i did something stupid and i can't face that fact i could have just disappeared but i need to forget all of it , Please just help" she pleaded
"Ok , but i need to know what you did first , so i can help you ok dear ?"Helena said
"i can't tell you that , anything but that , please the guilt would bubble up again , i just need to forget most of it "The girl said
"Claudia if you want me to help i need information" Helena told her "Fine but no judgement right?" the other woman nodded "ok well after a very drunk night i Kinda slept with Steve " Said Claudia with a grimace "Oh , well thats just fine , we can handle that " "and im kinda Pregnant "Claudia finished
"Well that will be a little harder to explain , but its fine we have this , but we need to do this in private , do you have place we can go to ?"Helena asked the younger woman after she nodded they were off
"Ok Claudia i need you to think of all your memories at the Warehouse about Leena and Artie , Myka and Pete , Even Steve "H.G. Started "Wait , i don't want to forget everything , i want some memories about Artie , Leena , Myka and Pete , including Steve just change their names and i want to keep my name , can stay with me for a bit please , i don't want to be alone when The baby comes "Claudia said
"Ok , so i will remind you of somethings when i'm done and help you through everything , i won't leave you alone i promise "H.G comforted
"And remind me if the Baby is a boy Steve Arthur , A girl Olivia Faith , those are some of the things i want to remember "Claudia told H.G
"Don't worry Sweetheart , nothing bad will happen , "H.G said "Thank you Helena , so very much i promise when I'm ready i will go back to the Warehouse "Said Claudia
an hour later when all memories where transferred
'Huh , where am i , who am i?' Claudia thought when she woke up "Oh your awake that's good "Said someone with an accent Claudia couldn't place from beside her Claudia looked to the right and saw a woman maybe 10? 15? years older than her looking at her with such concern "Uhhh , Hi? , Im sorry i dont want to sound rude but who are you? who am i ? and where am i ?"Claudia Asked fear creping in her voice
"Oh , well let me introduce myself , my name is H.G Wells and i am your friend , you are Claudia and you are in a Hospital , you collapsed after you found out you were Pregnant the doctors say you have Amnesia "Helena relayed the news "Wait ...im Pregnant ? who's the father ?"The young woman Asked again "He was a good man your best friend in fact and an ATF agent .he died before you found out , i'm the only one here to see you because on their way here to see you. your foster parents were in a car accident , i'm sorry , so many bad things happened , but i'm here to help for as long as i can "Helena comforted the young girl
"My parents ? , they adopted me? , i didn't know that , what were their names again? "She questioned
"Your adopted mother was named Leena and your real father was Named Arthur , he couldn't take care of you so one of his trusted friends Leena took you in and adopted you , you were planning on naming your Child Steve if a boy and Olivia if a girl "Helena said as she helped the girl in her clothes "It's ok to be a little shell shocked , As your Best friend said Keep the faith, now lets go home"
"Home? , the Warehouse? no why would we live in a Warehouse thats crazy , i must be imagining things , lets go before they keep me here another day , i hate hospitals "Claudia said "Wait .. do i work in the ATF? Cause if my best friend was am i ?
"Actually you work in an antique store , Warehouse 12 America's attic as you call it " Helena told her
"Thats why a warehouse would be considered home i love my work " Claudia mis-remembered
time lapse again
couple of months later
"Ok and its a girl ..congratulations miss Weisfelt , do you have a name for her yet ladies ?"asked the Doctor "Yes , i would like to name her Olivia Faith Weisfelt" Said the new mother
