Chapter 5: Visit to Earth/Bismuth's apology
Steven's time in Homeworld was good, but he couldn't get the sadness out of his heart. He was looking through some pictures that he had on his phone, mostly of his dad, Peridot, Lapis, and he did have some with Bismuth; before the incident at the forge. The hybrid was knocked out from his stupor, by someone knocking on the door.
Blue Diamond: Steven, are you in here?
Steven: (puts away phone) Yeah.
Steven went to open the door to his room, which was his mother's old room, letting Blue Diamond enter the room. She had shapeshifted to Garnet's size, so she can handle the kid better, when the cerulean queen entered the room, she was pulled into a hug by Steven.
She hugged him back, but felt a wet spot on her cloak, and heard somebody crying; that somebody being Steven, and hearing him how he misses his friends, and his dad. This clicked in the azure monarch's mind, he does have a family on Earth, maybe she could take him there as a reward for his training. In the months he has been here, he's been improving drastically.
Yellow and White would be busy right now, so she had time to go to her ship, she picked up her surrogate son, even though he was her nephew, she can't help but see him as her son. Blue, who just returned to her normal size, was carrying the young hybrid in her arms, along with her Pearl and some members of her court were heading towards the gigantic blue arm of a ship. Once inside, she marked a course towards Earth.

In It's a Wash, Greg was serving the last customer of the day. The work day went smoothly, with the help of Peridot, despite the last time she tried to help him, and Bismuth; at the suggestion of Peridot, to get some air, and another reason: Pumpkin.
Peridot, before moving in with Bismuth, she left the sentient squash under the care of Greg. For Bismuth, throughout the day, she has been having panic attacks. Peridot theorized that the blacksmith is suffering through Post-Traumatic-Stress-Disorder, or commonly referred as PTSD from trying to murder the kid in cold blood and Greg agreed.

Meanwhile in Blue's ship, Steven, waking up from his nap, and right by his side was Blue Pearl.
Blue Pearl: Greetings Steven...
Steven: (waking up) Hey…
The hybrid took a look at his surroundings.
Steven: Where are we?
Blue Pearl: We're en route to Earth.
Earth… that means, he's going to see his dad and Peridot. The two went towards where Blue was, and was she glad that he woke up from his nap.
Blue Diamond: I see you're awake!
Steven: Thanks, but why are we going to Earth?
Blue told him that, while he was crying, she heard the people that he left behind, and he hugged her leg. Blue Pearl summoned two diamond-shaped objects, and gave them to Steven. When the ship was in orbit, the three entered the palanquin, and went down to the surface. The site being Pink's old palanquin.
Steven: Can't believe that we're here again...
Blue Pearl: There's a warp pad not too far from here.
Blue Diamond: Good luck, you two!
Steven: Are you going to be okay?
Blue Diamond: I'll be fine.
The two went to the warp pad, activating the warp, warping out of Korea, and warped to the one in the temple. This gave the hybrid some uneasy feeling, but Pearl puts her hand on his shoulders for comfort (note: when I'd said 'Pearl' I meant Blue Pearl for this scenario). Luckily it was empty, and the duo were outta here! They've started their way towards the car-wash.
Greg and Peridot were comforting Bismuth after her most recent panic attack, but what they didn't notice was two figures; one slender, and one short. With barking on Pumpkin's end, alerting the trio, they were ecstatic. They pulled him into a group hug, crying out tears of joy, and saying how much they missed him. Bismuth stood up, walked towards the hybrid…
Bismuth: I'm sorry for thinking that you were Rose…
But the response wasn't what the blacksmith was expecting, seeing the kid's arm wrapped around her waist.
Bismuth: (sobbing) I'm sorry…
Steven: It's okay…
Peridot: So care to tell us what you've been up too?
Steven: Okay…
After telling everyone what he had done on Homeworld. Everyone voiced their opinions.
Greg: (with hand on head) Wow… this is a lot to take in.
Peridot: Training, huh?
Steven: Yep… Oh, that reminds me. (pulls out communicator) Here Dad.
Greg: What is this?
Steven: It's a diamond communicator, so we can keep in touch, and to use it. First it goes, white, yellow, blue, pink, and white again, second, select the diamond you want to speak with.
Greg: Sounds easy.
The hybrid turned to both Peridot and Bismuth
Steven: Peridot, Bismuth, would you like to come to Homeworld with me?
The two gems agreed, as the five were making their back to the temple's warp pad. As soon he opened the door, he saw them…

The gems…
The reception for the unexpected encounter, was negative to say the least. With a death glare from Peridot, that was directly meant for Amethyst, saying "I trusted you", while Bismuth's was directly meant for Garnet and Pearl. The quintet ignored them, and continued walking towards the warp pad, warping back to meet up with Blue.
Once inside her ship, the three catched up, while they were making their way back to Homeworld, like Peridot having a boomerang for a weapon, and once they'd landed, Blue took them towards the throne room for a more formal introduction.
Steven: We're back!
White Diamond: Oh, Steven! Where did you go?
Blue Diamond: He was with me. Can I speak with you in private?
White Diamond: Sure.
The two Diamonds went to have their private conversation, a sound of a window shattering, and with a familiar decapitated head crashing through.
Topaz: Heads up!
The currently decapitated head landed in the blacksmith's arms, who promptly freaks out, and drops his head on the floor.
Topaz: (head hits floor) Ow!
Jade, Spinel, and his currently headless body enter the room, and to Jade's surprise seeing both Peridot and Bismuth, hugs them both.
Topaz: (clears his non-existent throat) Disembodied head here!
Jade: Oh, sorry!
Jade picks up Topaz's head and gives back to the headless form, and screws it back on.
Topaz: Feels great to be whole! (chuckles)
Blue and White just finished their conversation, and ask both the green and rainbow-haired gems if they want to join Steven's court. The two gems in question look towards him, and he nods in approval. The two agreed, for Peridot this gives her the chance to hang out with him again, and for Bismuth this also gives her the chance to make it up to him.
