It was morning and no one knew Cody was missing they haven't seen him all morning, cause they think he went to school, just then kade turn on the tv and the news was on.

Weathermen: there as been sights of some thunder storms today and locas say that there will be some mudslides coming, so the mayor has ask everyone to stay inside and schools and shop will be close early got everyone's protection.

This worries chief Charlie

Charlie: kade

Kade: huh yeah pop

Charlie: I want ya to pick Cody after school I want all you kids here and away from the mudslides

Kade: (sighsssss) okay pop

It's not like kade didn't wanted to but he feels awkward at what he told Cody.

Meanwhile with Cody he was walking the woods for hours without any sleep, he then saw a cave and slept on the ground, not know if his family is worried about him. Just then it started to rain

It was time for the schools to close and kade was waiting for Cody, as everyone kid got picked up

And waited

Just then chief Charlie came in

Charlie: kade! What are you still doing here, you need to be home

Kade: but I'm still waiting for Cody

Charlie: he hasn't come out yet

Kade: no?

This worries Charlie, he goes inside the school to look for Cody he goes to every classroom then the cafeteria then the courtyard then the library, he comes back out and calls graham.

Graham: hello

Charlie: graham! Is Cody home

Graham: no not yet why

Charlie: HE'S NOT AT THE SCHOOL

Graham: what! Well maybe he's walking I'll call Dani see if she can find him

Charlie: ok hurry

Kade: whats wrong dad,

Charlie: Cody's missing, I need you to go hone with you brother

Kade: but what about--

Charlie: (he gets inside the car) me and your sister with find him.

Back with Cody- Cody woke up from his nap and saw the mudslides come in he quickly grabbed his backpack and climbed up a tree, hopefully it would keep him safe

Graham messes with him fingers as kade paces back and forward waiting for Cody to return, then Charlie and rain came back, they went to only find them codyless. Charlie was calling his teacher to see if they seen him.

Kade: any luck

Dani: we searched the whole town, even asked Francine there's no sign of him.

Charlie: uh huh, uh huh, ok thank you

He hangs up

Dani: anything

Charlie : the teacher haven't seen him all day

Dani/graham/kade: WHAT!!

Kade: ok what do we do

Just then they heard firestorm whining in Cody's room, they went in his room to see the shattered picture frame, and a note on his bed, Charlie picked it up and it says.

Dear dad if you're reading this, it will explain to you why I been gone for 3 years

Charlie: 3 years?

I felt like I don't belong in this family, how I saw you so happy with me out of the way, and since I can't be taken seriously here. I think it's for the best if I disappear and I know how you and the others would be happy without me. So good bye and I hope you and the others do well with our me since you NEVER wanted me in the first place.

A teardrop feel on the paper as the words never and wanted, made him feel awful, he felt a pain in his heart knowing his little boy is gone. He shows the paper too everyone else.

Dani: well good I'm glad he's gone

Graham/Charlie: DANI!!

Dani: what that kid is nothing but a screw up

Graham: HE'S OUR BROTHER

Dani: well not to me look what he did to my present(show him the broken crystal)

Graham: it was a accident

Dani: no it wasn't he did it on purpose I'll show you

she pull out the video of when the crystal broke, but what she saw made her heart drop, it was firestorm that broke the crystal

Dani: so it was firestorm, I can't believe I blame Cody for it,( turns to to dog)

Dani: BAD DOG

He runs away

Kade: it's my fault I told him somethings that I shouldn't said

Charlie: (turns to him) what did you tell him kade

Kade: I told him, that it was his fault that mom died and that he should go away

Charlie eyes open wide then he gave them a angry look

Charlie: FIND CODY, before this storm gets worse bring him back unharmed then we'll discuss your punishment kade runs off grabbing his coat and headed outside. There were huge puddles but it didn't stop kade from saving Cody he ran to the woods to see Cody in a tree, Cody hugged the tree tightly to keep the wind from blowing him away he shut his eyes tight, not seeing kade.

Kade climbs him the tree to gets him, just then a lightning bolt hits the tree branch and Cody causing the tree to burn and Cody falls, kade tries to catch Cody but he misses Cody hands in the mudslide he watch as the mudslide carries Cody away and the flashback of his mom's death.

Annabelle: protect... Cody

Kade: I'm not going to lose you Cody,

He jumps in the mudslide and grabs Cody, he tries to grab on to a tree bunch as more mud try to push him off, he was about to let go when Dani came in with her helicopter, she pulls down the ladder for kade, he grabs on to it, with Cody still in his arms.

Kade: thanks

Dani: no problem, you got Cody

Kade: yeah(looks down at Cody) it's going to be okay Cody (caresses his head) we'll get help you

A few minutes later, the burns family were in the hospital with Cody, he was hooked up to tubes and wires, he look peaceful in his sleep, kade grabbed his hand as Charlie rest his head on the hospital bed closer to Cody.
