Chapter 5

The plane landed at Madeira Airport in Portugal.

At the airport

Help desk: hai, can I see your boarding pass Ma'am.

Susan – "ah!yes sure. By the way, id like to know the details of the next flight to Madrid. How long are we going to be here?

Help desk: sorry for the trouble ma'am, it might take longer since the weather is going to deteriorate in the next 14 hours. We are following the weather closely. We arranged your stay at individual rooms at Airport lounge. We will call and inform you about further advances at your room telephone number. You can also make 3 free calls from your room to inform you're near and dear about the changes in flight schedule. The stay is free of cost. Timely means are left at your room, and you will be charged for extra orders and mini bar. Anything I can help you with?

" yes! I'd like to know about the woman in seat 44 B, She just vanished into thin air after we landed, Susan said, little sadly.

Help desk: Ms Baumara loranza?

"No. it is Ms Eliot ferrero. Can you please re check" Susan said, little confused.

"Sorry ma'am. The name you mentioned is in business class. iam afraid, I cannot reveal more about them. But they stay at the VIP lounge, and you can make a personal visit"said the lady at help desk. Susan left to her room saying thank you.

Susan was thinking all the way up to her room, as to why Eliot had given up on a business class seat to sit right beside her. She said too much and Susan was confused if it was no coincidence that Eliot sat beside her during the flight.

Her room was 41 at the lounge. she quickly got freshen up and made a quick call to her mom, saying that the flight made an emergency landing and will inform her mom about any further advances about her flight. She also said that she won't be coming straight to Swingdon, instead, she is visiting Spain, followed by France and then home. It was rather quick but a happy conversation. Her mother is excited to see her soon.

Susan made a video call to Ruby after she made her self comfortable in bed.

Susan : ruby! My love! Whats up Baby. I missed you

Ruby- I missed you too babe, whats up. You called earlier than I thought. The flight was for 8hours. Isn't it?

Susan – there was some weather breakdown and they made an emergency landing. Whats with all the sound? Having a party?

Ruby: oh yeah! Some of the girls from neighborhood are here. We are actually kind of having a party…

Susan, - I just left and you already have a party! Susan said with a raised eyebrow

Ruby- sorry babes! Stop being such jealous freak. They are here just for some booze.

Susan - you know who else was on the flight with me..Err….

KNOCK KNOCK..

Susan- someone is at the door, enjoy your party, will call you in a while

DOOR OPENS

Eliot was standing right in front of the door.
