We pulled off and I noticed that we were on the big screen, well Katniss was on the screen but I don't think they know which one of us they are showing, I look across Peeta at Katniss and see her bitting her lip, I whisper to her, "Your on the screen," she glances up and slowly warms up to the attention final after going around the street 2 times we pull back into the garage.
"Your training starts tomorrow, I want all three of you staying together, and don't do any special skills so what are you special skills?" Haymitch asked us once they put out our fires and we got into our normal clothes, well not normal clothes, Katniss was wearing black leggings and a navy blue shirt, I'm wearing black leggings and a dark purple shirt, and we both had our hair in a single braid down our back. "Katniss can shoot a bow and arrow really well" I said, Katniss shrugged it off but Peeta responded, "Yes you can, my dad buys her squirrels and he always comments how clean her shoot is," I saw Katniss stare confused at him I squeezed her hand and when she looked at me I gave her an I told you so look, "Well Peeta is really strong, he can lift bags of flour around," she says, of course just like Katniss lets have a compliment battle, "Oh yeah I'll bet there'll be tons of flour sacks to throw in the arena," Peeta says, "Well you did come in second in the school wrestling," I said quietly, "Oak is really good at recognizing plants," Katniss says, "Okay you three, avoid archery, and weights tomorrow, you can go to plants but Oak don't make a big deal about it," Haymitch says clearly done with out arguing.
The next morning we went to training, me and Katniss wore white shirts, black pants, and boots. I could tell Katniss felt just at home because it was just like her hunting outfit. We walked down stairs and ate breakfast, when we got to the elevator it was super awkward because Peeta was wearing the same outfit, we spent the next couple of days training, we found out the Katniss liked tying ropes and Peeta liked doing camouflage, I on the other hand could recognize plants and was also good at making plant medicine. Training wasn't super eventful, I took note of the district 1 and 2 tributes, Cato, Clove, Glimmer, and Marvel, I also noticed a girl who me and Katniss called Foxface and the district 11 tributes Thresh and Rue, Rue was adorable and she reminded me of Prim so much.
