Death and Demos

A combination of two one-shot styles involving RWBY and RE2R/3R. The first are the 'End' One-Shots: In Volume Two, someone large, threating, and unstoppable stands in the way of two good teams. Sadly, it does not end well for the heroes. The 'Demo' One-Shots are RWBY characters playing the Demos of the Remakes. I do not own anything with RWBY, nor anything with Resident Evil.

5. One-Shot: Red End

AN: Hey everyone, I have the third chapter of this series of RWBY characters getting killed by Resident Evil monsters. It may seem blunt, but that is the theme of this series. We now have Pyrrha alone as she is on the run from the monster, but Roman gets a few unwelcome visitors after what Mr. X did in the first chapter. So, I give you the conclusion to this trilogy of a series celebrating the release of the newest RE game. I do not know yet if I will do a RE8 demo chapter afterward, but I did play them and am super excited for the full game on release. One-Shot: Red End

In the underground city, Roman oversaw the White Fang grunts as they finished loading the train. He grinned as Mr. X carried two massive bombs, one in each hand, and loaded them into position. Nearby, Neo walked up to the orange-haired criminal, a slight hobble from her injury, "Don't push yourself." He told the mute girl, "What is it?"

"…" Neo handed him a scroll with a text message, "She is here."

"Who?" Roman said before seeing the Fall Maiden walking up, "Oh, Cinder." He said before noticing the White Fang swordsman with her, who had a scowl towards the orange-haired criminal, "Well, look who brought company." The orange-haired criminal said with a slight bow, "To what do I owe the pleasure of this check-in from the boss lady?"

"I was informed that your mission was almost compromised." Cinder spoke with her arms crossed, then looked over to five body bags, "But it seems we're able to take care of it."

"Yes, Red should not be an issue anymore." Roman responded, then looked over to Adam, who was still scowling, "What's your problem, I also took down a Schnee for your kind."

"The lieutenant informed me," Adam responded, "And that you also that you killed my Darling."

"Your who?" Roman asked with Neo, gaining his attention. She quickly created an illusion set of faunus cat ears with her semblance, "Oh, you mean Cat."

"Blake Belladonna was her name," Cinder responded, "And she was the daughter of the Faunus Chieftain at Menagerie."

"So, she was a feline princess?" Roman said before looking back to Adam, "And I'm guessing you're ex-girlfriend."

"She was a traitor of the White Fang," Adam responded, gripping his sword, "I was going to enjoy tearing her life apart for leaving me." He said before slightly ejecting his blade from its sheath, "But you killed her." The White Fang swordsman said, then heard a set of stomping approached.

"Technically, it was Mr. X over here that did her in." Roman said as the tyrant stood at his side, "You want to take a stab at him?"

"You think I can't beat this new bodyguard of yours?" Adam asked, then looked over to Neo, "Short or tall, I'll make them the same height after I chop off their heads." He threatened with Neo sticking her tongue out at him, while Mr. X cracked his knuckles.

However, Cinder walked up, "None of us need to fight each other." She spoke, "Especially with the mission so close to completing."

"…Tsk," Adam scoffed, sheathing his weapon, "I will inform Sienna Khan of this, she may be able to use this death to persuade the Chieftain and his wife to rejoin the White Fang." He said before grinning, "If not, I will just have to go there and convince them myself."

"Right." Roman said before looking back to Cinder, "The death of the Ice Queen is not going to cause any issues, is it?"

"I would imagine the Schnee Dust Company's CEO will turn this into a sob story to boost his stocks." Cinder commented, "So, nothing we need to be concerned with until moving onto Atlas."

"Until you move on," Roman corrected, "After this kingdom falls, I'm out of this game and will be laying low."

"Are you sure?" Cinder asked with a smirk, "I used to think you were incompetent, but since you took care of that annoying hooded girl, I am reconsidering your value."

"Sorry, but we're out." Roman said with Neo nodding, "We do hope your world-dominating mission goes well, but neither of us will be safe if we stick with your group."

"Understandable," Cinder responded with a sigh, "I will let my boss know after I return with the full fall maiden powers." She said before having a chuckle, "Everything is going according to pl-"

Suddenly, a red vortex opened nearby the group. They turned to witness a woman in a red and black attire walk out, her face covered by a Grimm helmet, "Which one of you did it?" She spoke in a cold voice.

"Uh, you know this person?" Roman spoke, glancing to Adam, "I mean, she has your gang's mask."

"This is a human," Adam corrected, turning to the stranger with his sword now drawn, "Who are you?"

"I am Raven," She spoke before taking off the helmet, showing off her enraged red eyes, "And one of you killed my daughter, Yang," she said before drawing her sword, which was nearly twice as long,

"Wait, Blondie was your brat?" Roman said before sighing, "Was Red the only one not related to somebody special?"

"You showed up at a bad time," Adam responded to Raven with a grin, "I am in the mood to kill someone like you."

"Enough talk," Raven responded her eyes slowly glowing with a yellow aura, "All of you can die by my blade."

"Oh, another maiden." Cinder said before smirking, causing one of her eyes to glow with a flaming orange aura, "I might get a taste of the full power of one early, just from another season."

Roman then looked over to Neo, whose eyes were white with fear, "Yeah, she does not look like someone we can win against." He said before smiling towards the Tyrant, "But you can take down this bitch in a red dress, right?" The orange-haired criminal said with Mr. X focused in on his target, begin his pursuit.

Meanwhile.

Pyrrha ran as fast as she could down the road of a destroyed city. Her body aching and her breathing sporadic, "Team RWBY should have been sent to this location. If they are still here, I can leave with them back to Vale." She said before the memory of her own team's fate flooded back into her mind, causing her to stop, "Nora, Jaune, Ren… I'm so sorry I couldn't save you." Pyrrha spoke as tears ran down her face.

However, a familiar yell was heard, "S.T.A.R.S.!" the red warrioress heard before Nemesis dashed around a street corner, cutting off Pyrrha's escape.

"You!" Pyrrha said as remorse changed to rage in her eyes, "I promise," she said before drawing her spear and shield, "I will kill you!" Nemesis then moved towards her, both arms raised over his head for a downward swing. Pyrrha raised her shield, blocking the strike with a shockwave reverberating throughout the destroyed city. While the red warrioress held her ground, she felt the road start to crumble. Suddenly, the pavement gave out as the two fell into a second destroyed city.

However, Pyrrha refocused. With a dark aura surrounding her shield, it hoovered on its own. The red warrioress used it as a board to glid safely to a nearby building's roof. While she landed without a scratch, Nemesis plummeted into the pavement on the road, his body buried in the rubble.

Pyrrha scowled at where the monster was, then examined the area, "What is this, some kind of abandoned underground city?" She said before catching something in the corner of her eye. Pillars of smoke were seen, and explosions were heard in the distance, "Could that be where Team RWBY is?" She said before focusing on her goal, "It has to be." The red warrioress said before dashing towards the battle, leaping from rooftop to rooftop.

Down in the destroyed road, two White Fang grunts walked up to the pile of rubble, "This place is falling apart." One grunt said to the other, "Let's just take that paladin back to base."

"I told you, Parry," the other grunt responded, "It's out of fuel and can't move."

"How can it be out of fuel," Parry responded, "It has a flamethrower mounted on its right arm."

"…" the other grunt looked on with a deadpan glare, "Look, let's just get back before something shows up and we both get ki-"

Suddenly, Nemesis erupted from the rubble. Before the two grunts could gasp and aim their rifles, the monster gabbed each of their heads in the palm of his hands, "S.T.A.R.S." he said while lifting the two grunts, then smashing their skulls together into a red paste. The two headless corpses fell as Nemesis examined the area, noticing a Paladin mech in the distance. While he knew this was something he could not pilot, another idea formed in his head.

Meanwhile.

Raven clashed with multiple enemies. Her crimson blade clashed with Adam's as she dodged Cinder's barrage of explosive arrows. Through the smoke, Mr. X charged the Spring Maiden with a wild punch. The blow was blocked by her blade, but Raven saw her weapon shatter from the impact of the fist. However, Raven sheathed her weapon, then drew it again with a new blade to continue her assault.

Roman watched with sweat on his forehead, "This fight could go either way." He said before looking to the White Fang grunts, "Get your weapons, and make sure the train is ready to move."

"But our order was-" one grunt said before Roman aimed his cane at their head, "R-right away." He said before rushing off to the train.

"…" Neo looked on in fear, seeing Roman grit his teeth at the situation. However, the mute girl saw someone else approaching the trainyard, "…!" She pointed with Roman noticing as well, seeing Pyrrha rushing onto the scene.

Roman turned with a scowl formed, "Of for the love of," He said as adjusted his hat, "What do you want!?"

"Y-you're Roman Torchwick." Pyrrha commented, "What is a criminal doing here?"

"What do you think!?" Roman shouted, "I swear, I have had it with you meddling brats interfering with my plans."

"Meddling brats?" Pyrrha said before seeing the body bags in the distance. She then gasped before seeing the bloodstained weapons of the people she was searching for in a nearby pile, "Y-you killed them." The red warrioress turned back to Roman, her eyes engulfed with rage as she aimed her rifle, "You killed Team RWBY!"

"Yeah, so what!?" Roman shouted back, "They fought and lost, so they died. That's how this world works!" the orange-haired criminal said as he walked towards Pyrrha, the grip on his cane tightening, "If you think you can change that, then your stupider than Red was."

"Shut up!" Pyrrha responded, "I'm going to change the world and stop people like you from hurting anyone else."

"Oh yeah," Roman responded with a grin, "Well, I got news for you. When the dust settles, I'll still be left alive and-"

Suddenly, a monstrous yell was heard, "S.T.A.R.S!" Roman heard before hearing Neo gasped. He turned to his mute bodyguard, seeing her pointing with her eyes as white as a ghost. In looking at what she was pointing at, Roman and Pyrrha saw that Nemesis had arrived. On his back was a tanker of fuel, while he wielded a massive flamethrower in his left arm. "S.T.A.R.S.," the monster said before unleashing a wave of flames. Pyrrha quickly equipped her shield, blocking most of the fire from connecting with her body. However, Neo watched the flames approach Roman, knowing he could not dodge or block. She tried to rush to protect him, thinking she could give her life to save her One Thing.

But she was wrong.

The flames engulfed Roman's body, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" he screamed as what aura he had melted away, leading to the fire slowly incinerating him. The orange-haired criminal flailed in agony, his clothes scorching with his skin. However, as the fire spread to his cane, the dust inside its weapon went off in an explosion. Neo was thrown back in the blast, landing on her back before opening her eyes to see the raining down of her what remained of her One Thing.

"…!" Neo hyperventilate before screaming, "AAAAAAAAHHHHH!" her voice echoed, causing Mr. X to raise his head and turn to the sight. Neo then watched Nemesis walk up to her, his flamethrower aimed at close range to the mute girl. However, before the trigger could be pulled, Mr. X tackled Nemesis out of the way.

The monster now turned his attention to the tyrant, "S.T.A.R.S."

"…" Mr. X cracked his knuckles, ready to engage the new enemy.

In the distance, Cinder watched with a scowl, "Why is that thing here?" she said before seeing Adam gets pushed back by Raven again, "You and your other members, go kill Nemesis before it gets out of hand."

"That thing?" Adam responded, "How do you-"

"Just do it before it can mutate!" Cinder said before Adam nodded, changing targets to the monster. Meanwhile, Cinder refocused on Raven, who reposed her sword, "Seems I will have to kill you quicker than intended." She said before reforming her blades of dust.

Mr. X and Nemesis exchanged blow after blow of punches. Flesh ripped and bones shattered with each strike that landed. However, it was Nemesis that was dealing more damage. Neo watched in panic as Mr. X faltered from taking another hit.

Suddenly, Adam rushed in and slashed Nemesis across the face. While the monster stepped back to avoid the bulk of the slash, his crooked nose had been cut, now dangling off his flesh by a bit of skin. Adam grinned as he reposed his sword, watching the nose fall off, "I'm going to enjoy killing this beast." The White Fang swordsman said before multiple White Fang grunts gathered around him, aiming their rifle, "Fire!" Adam ordered before Nemesis was bombarded with bullets.

Nemesis was seeming unaffected by the bullets, aiming his flamethrower at Adam. The White Fang swordsman dashed out of the way, but his grunts could not mimic his speed as they were engulfed in flames, "S.T.A.R.S." the monster said before trying to strike Adam. Nemesis then turned to see Mr. X moving in with the White Fang lieutenant, who revved his chainsaw.

Pyrrha watched the chaos ensue, "I need to warn Vale." She said before taking out her scroll but saw there was no signal. In tossing her scroll away in a rage, she saw the train, "Maybe, if I can-" She said before running towards her way out of this underground city.

However, Neo jumped to block her path, "…!" Neo did not say a word, scowling with tears in her eyes while readying her umbrella.

"Get out of my way!" Pyrrha responded, readying her spear and shield.

Nearby, Nemesis fended off Mr. X with a punch to the skull, launching the tyrant back with the fedora falling nearby. The monster then saw the White Fang lieutenant rush in with the massive chainsaw. Nemesis blocked the weapon with his own. Sparks and embers flew between the chainsaw and flamethrower. Suddenly, Adam jumped onto Nemesis's back, the fuel can with his sword. The monster quickly shook Adam off, forcing the White Fang swordsman to retract his blade. Adam then reposed his sheath, took aim, and fired into the hole he made in the fuel can. The burning dust round engulfed the canister, causing it to explode.

Adam smirked as Nemesis fell forward, his body still burning. However, the monster was not the only one caught in the blast. The White Fang lieutenant laid on his back, the mask crack with blood and burn marks covering his body, "Adam…. Why?" the White Fang lieutenant spoke before coughing blood, raising a hand towards the White Fang swordsman.

"I needed to make sure that thing would not move out of the way." Adam responded as he looked down at the lieutenant, "You have served our cause well, so you can leave the rest to me." He said with a smile before the White Fang lieutenant's hand went limp, the body now lifeless. Adam then sheathed his sword before looking back to Cinder clashing with Raven, then to Neo fighting Pyrrha, "Now, who should die next?"

However, Adam heard something. He turned back to see Nemesis getting up. While the flamethrower was no longer operational, the monster gripped the opposing end, with his right hand, "S.T.A.R.S." he said while on fire with the burning hunk of metal.

"You want some more, fine," Adam responded, drawing his weapon. "Let's see if you come back after I remove your head!" he said before rushing Nemesis, who roared while raising the burning metal raised over his head. Adam jumped back to dodged, but was not expecting the explosion of flames. In this slight flinch, he did not see Nemesis repose with burning metal. The monster then dashed through the flames, impaling the burning metal into Adam's gut. The White Fang swordsman felt his aura overwhelmed by the strike, his ribs crack, and his stomach boiling from the heat. Adam thought that he could not die this way, that this was just the start of his rise, that he would be the one to make people feel fear.

But he was wrong.

Adam was then batted to the ground, his mask falling off as he held his stomach in pain. A look of fear had filled Adam's eye as he gazed upon the burning monster. "No, you can't do this to-," Adam said before Nemesis raised the burning metal again, swinging into his body with a blazing explosion, "AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" Adam cried in agony, his ribs fully shattered and his body broke, "AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" he yelled as his body was burning. "AAAHHH-" the White Fang swordsman's scream was cut short as Nemesis crushed his head under his boot.

"S.T.A.R.S." Nemesis said before turning to someone else approaching. Mr. X walked up the corpse of the White Fang lieutenant, grabbing the damaged chainsaw. Nemesis roared before rushing the tyrant, while Mr. X responded to the monster in kind with the broken weapons clashing in an explosion of flames.

Pyrrha parried Neo's umbrella stabs with her spear, then tried to shield bash the mute girl. Neo maneuvered behind the red warrioress, spin kicking her into the train cart. However, the mute girl flinched in pain from her prior injury soon afterward.

Pyrrha started to recover, but then something inside the train cart, "I-Is that a bomb!?" She said before realizing the intention of this train, "You're planning to use this to destroy Vale," Pyrrha said as the image of multiple lives being tormented by Grimm filled her mind, "I can't let that happen," she said before images of her parted friends and teammate, "I won't let you kill any more innocent lives!" the red warrioress said before her body was covered in a black aura, one that also enveloped the train.

Neo recovered from her pain and readied to reengaged Pyrrha. However, the mute girl's eyes went white with dread. Cinder and Raven glanced over at the sight and gasped. Mr. X and Nemesis realized a shadow looming over them and looked up to discover it was the train carts. Pyrrha had used her polarity semblance on the entire locomotive, her arms raised over her head with her black aura violently pulsating. Blood dripped from her nostrils and ears, even the vessels in her eyes had popped from the stress. With her teeth grip, she plunged her hands down, dropping the train over everyone else in the area. The bombs from within the carts prematurely detonated, resulting in a chain of explosions throughout the entire underground base.

After the smoke settled and the onslaught of blasts ended in front of her, Pyrrha fell to her knees. The toll of overexerting her semblance had left her with no strength remaining. All she could do was watch the burning wreckage of her final attack, thinking this was the end.

But she was wrong.

Through the noise, Pyrrha heard one voice speak out. "S.T.A.R.S." that word echoed fear in her mind, as she looked to witness Nemesis emerging from the rubble. His body mangled more than before, but his gaze still focused on his target.

"Why," Pyrrha said before drawing her weapon, changing into its rifle form, "Why won't you die!" she said before opening fire, unleashing round after round into the monster's body. However, none of these bullets slowed Nemesis down as he moved towards Pyrrha. Suddenly, the red warrioress pulled the trigger but realized she was out of ammo. She gritted her teeth before changing her weapon to its spear form, then hurled it at Nemesis. However, the monster parried it out of the way with his tentacle, "No," she said before tears filled her eyes, "I…I was supposed to…save everyone." Pyrrha said before Nemesis was standing right before her, this right arm raised to grab her head.

Suddenly, the red warrioress felt a wave of heat on the ground. She opened her eyes to see a dust arrow had stuck under Nemesis's legs. Before Pyrrha could react, the arrow exploded, launching her backward in agony. She skidded before coming to a hard stop again a slab of metal. In opening her eyes through the pain, she witnessed a flailing Nemesis, engulfed in flames that would not go out. Pyrrha then saw a second dust arrow, this one colliding with the monster's chest and detonated near instantly. Nemesis was flung back into half of a flipped upright train. Knowing this was her last chance, Pyrrha raised her hand, creating a small amount of her semblance. The train cart started to lean before full toppling over onto the monster with loud thud, then silence filled the area.

Pyrrha's hand fell limp to her side, her breathing heavy. She looked over to where the arrow had been shot, seeing it was from Cinder. The Fall Maiden was severely damaged, her dress tattered and blood dripping from her forehead, "That was an impressive display of strength." Cinder said with a smile towards Pyrrha, "I did not think you could deal so much damage to Nemesis."

"Y-you knew that thing?" Pyrrha said, "What was that monster?"

"An Atlas project, one meant to be the ultimate replacement for their entire military." Cinder informed as she walked over, "A bioweapon capable of regenerating most wounds without the need of an aura." she then looked over to another pile of moving debris, seeing it was Mr. X. His trench coat was in taters and flesh scared. Under his body, an unconscious Neo was seen, "Like the weaker tyrant model, they can be programmed to obey directives." Cinder said before drawing another dust arrow and fired it at Mr. X. The tyrant blocked the arrow with his right arm, but the shot detonated with a large blast. Mr. X was flung off Neo, his right torso and head were a mangle of bloody flesh that was still on fire, "But I don't need the weaker model on my side anymore."

"What do you mean Atlas made Nemesis?" Pyrrha asked, regaining Cinder's attention, "It killed my team!"

"Of course, it did," Cinder responded with a grin as Pyrrha gasped, "When I hacked into the communication tower, I was able to reprogram Nemesis's primary directive." She responded upon remembering her infiltration of the tower, plugging in a flash drive, "I uploaded a list of individuals he would kill when deployed; Hunters and Huntresses, professors, people of interest to my leader." The Fall Maiden said before looking over to Neo's body, "Even people who would have abandoned our causes if they got smart." Cinder then looked back to Pyrrha, "And it also included students, just to make sure people like you would not pose a problem down the line. The file was called Special Targets and Remnant's Scourge. Or, as he liked to put it,"

"Stars." Pyrrha responded, then gritted her teeth, "This…this is all because of you!" She glared at a smirking Cinder, "You're the reason everyone I cared about is dead."

"Not everyone," Cinder said while glancing back to Neo, "It was her boss that found the discovered the tyrant, who then killed the girls at the attacked this base." She said before looking back to Pyrrha, "When you see all of them in the afterlife," the Fall Maiden said before spawning one more dust arrow, "Tell them, I win."

"You," Pyrrha said as she watched the arrow get pulled back, now aiming at her head. Then saw something in the corner of her eye, "You can tell them yourself."

"Huh?" Cinder responded, then heard a monstrous roar. She turned to Mr. X standing back up. His body had wrapped, his muscles enlarged. The right arm was now more of a burning claw of meat and jagged bone, "Oh shi-" Cinder said before the mutated tyrant rushed her. The Fall Maiden fired her arrow, but he swung his burning claw to deflect the shot. Cinder jumped back to dodge the strike, switching her bow into two short swords.

Pyrrha tried to get up but knew her strength was exhausted. Suddenly, a red vortex appeared nearby. She watched as Raven walked out of the vortex, not a scratch on her from the train explosion. The Spring Maiden then looked down on Pyrrha, "Tell me, did you know a girl named Yang Xiao Long?"

"Y-yes, she was my friend," Pyrrha responded, then got a better look at this person's face, "Wait, are you-"

"Her mother, yes." Raven answered, "I could scene her danger, but choose not to intervene. I thought I was making the right call but letting her live her own life." She said before gripping her sword, "But I was wrong." Raven said before drawing her crimson blade, "While that thing is dealing with the other maiden, I kill this girl." She said before raising the blade over Neo, aiming for the heart.

Pyrrha watched before hearing another rumbling, her eyes widened at noticing coming from where Nemesis was. Suddenly, the thought came to Pyrrha's mind. If Mr. X could mutate, what would this monster turn into?

Before she could give the warning, the mutated monster emerged. His body near ten times larger, now warped with serrated bones. Raven could not turn fast enough to see the slash incoming. With larger claws, they bisected the Spring Maiden across her midsection and through her aura. Raven's upper torso was flung into the air, the sword falling out of her hand before the body landed near Pyrrha. The mutated monster roared again, then chomped down on the other half of Raven's corpse.

Cinder turned to the sight, gritting her teeth, "Damnit, I thought that thing was dead." She said before looking back to Mr. X, "No matter, I can just kill you and leave. That creature will never attack me." She said before the mutated tyrant roared, then charged. However, Cinder tossed her short swords at him, the blades exploding on the chest. The mutated tyrant staggered back from the explosions, while Cinder spawning new blades, "Nothing will stop me from gain the ultimate power-" Suddenly, Pyrrha ran through the smoke with her shield in hand. She bashed it against Cinder, shattering the two dust short swords. The Fall Maiden skidded back from the strike, while Pyrrha still held up her shield, "What!?" Cinder exclaimed, "How are you able to move like that? Where did you get this sudden strength?" she was saying until realizing it. In looking over to Raven's lifeless body, the eyes of a maiden were gone. As Pyrrha lowered her shield, she glared at the Fall Maiden with those of the new Spring Maiden, "You inherited her powers."

"I don't understand how," Pyrrha responded, the yellow aura radiating from her eyes, "But I know this is my chance to take you down!" She declared before rushing in, using her shield to strike Cinder.

"Tsk," Cinder responded before gathering her dust, this time to create a massive great sword. With both hands, she swung the weapon into Pyrrha's shield, "You don't deserve to be a Maiden!" The Fall Maiden declared while swinging wildly with her greatsword, the aura in her eye a flaming orange, "These are meant for people who understand their potential!" Cinder said as Pyrrha was getting pushed back by each attack she blocked, "Now, witness true power!" She said before crashing her great swords onto Pyrrha's shield was heavy slam, causing the dust to ignite with an explosion. Cinder saw her opponent get flung back in the smoke, the shield broken in half. The Fall Maiden had a wide smile as she rushed in, formed a small dagger out of her remaining dust, and ready to deal the final blow before the Spring Maiden could recover.

However, someone else rushed against the smoke. Mr. X charged Cinder, his claw arm grinding against the ground. The Fall Maiden gasped before seeing the sharp uppercut towards her body. She attempted to block, but the dagger proved ineffective. Cinder's upper torso was impaled, no amount of aura could soften this strike. The claws erupted out of her spine, while blood stained her dress a different shade of red. The mutated tyrant roared before flinging Cinder's body to a chunk of metal.

Cinder could only open one eye through the pain, seeing Pyrrha approach, "You…tricked me…" Cinder spoke before coughing blood.

"…" Pyrrha looked down with a scowl, then heard something approaching. She turned to see it was Mr. X, whose gaze was locked on his next foe, "You're the thing that killed Team RWBY." Pyrrha responded, her eyes glowing. The mutated tyrant did not respond but readied for one more charge. However, two heard Nemesis roaring. They looked to witness the unconscious Neo in of hands of the mutated monster. Mr. X then rushed back towards them, while Pyrrha gasped, "Quick," She said while turning back to Cinder, "How do I kill these things?"

"You expect me… to help?" Cinder said before laughing, then coughing more blood, "They will only die… with enough damage… For the tyrant… you would need a rocket launcher." She said before smiling with bloodstained lips, "For Nemesis… you would need a bomb…. Something more powerful… than what was on the train." She said with Pyrrha gritting her teeth, "It's useless…you'll die before you can call for help…And in the end…." Cinder said with her eye closing, "…I'll win..." She said before thinking that was her last thought before the blood loss took her life.

But she was wrong.

Pyrrha grabbed Cinder's head reopening the eye, "What… are you…doing!?"

"You and Raven were the same," Pyrrha said as she looked in Cinder's eye, which still had a faint orange aura, "When she died, I got this power." The Spring Maiden spoke, "When you die, I'll have yours."

"No, you can't!" Cinder responded in panic, "Nobody can handle… more than one Maiden power… the reaction could-" The Fall Maiden said before gasping, causing Pyrrha to smirk.

As Nemesis was about to place Neo in his mouth, Mr. X jumped with a flying punch to the mutated monster's jaw, shattering some teeth and moving the head away from its next victim. The mutated tyrant snatched Neo out of Nemesis's arm, then landed on his feet. Nemesis roared at Mr. X, who responded in kind.

However, as they were about to clash claws, a blinding light emerged. They turned to witness Pyrrha at the center, her body injured in a yellow and orange aura. She turned away from the body of Cinder, then looked to her opponents with the eyes of a maiden with multiple seasons, "No more," Pyrrha spoke, her body's aura pulsating rapidly, tearing itself apart from the inside out, "I will not let either of you get away," the maiden of multiple seasons spoke, the aura expanding. Nemesis snarled before rushing its target. However, Mr. X ran the other direction, holding Neo in his arm, "This ends," She spoke as Nemesis pounced, his jaw open, "RIGHT NOW!" Pyrrha declared as her body fully transformed into the aura of the Maidens.

Nemesis bit down on his target, swallowing her in one gulp. However, his torso began to heat up and expand. Suddenly, in a blinding flash of light, the maidens' aura detonated within the mutated monster's body. Mr. X looked back to see the explosive blast wave rapidly approaching. Knowing there was nowhere to run, he knelt while holding Neo close, leading to the two being enveloped in the light.

"…" Slowly, Neo opened her eyes. She did not know how much time had passed, or what had happened since she lost consciousness. However, the mute girl soon recognized herself in Mr. X's arm. She gasped at his mutated form, but then had a look of confusion again. A light shined down on her face, and upon standing on her own feet, she saw it was the sun's rays. At that moment, her eyes turned white at the sight. The underground city was decimated, a scorched creator remaining where the trainyard once was. The sky above, which was the floor of the upper city, had been blown out and collapsed into the lower area. The land showed no signs of life, no Grimm, nothing to make a sound. Neo then looked back to Mr. X's body, then gasped again. Apart from what she saw before, his back was completely decimated. Muscles had ripped apart and bones had melted away. The mute girl could even see the massive heart, yet it did not beat ones. Tears formed in Neo's eyes upon the realizing of what happened. Mr. X had saved her life in exchange for his own. She knew this was what Roman had programmed him for, but with her One Thing gone as well, the mute girl felt she lost more than what she could have ever imagined. Neo reached out her left hand to Mr. X, placing her palm on his heart, and continued to cry until she could no longer form tears.

AN: There you go, everyone is dead, except Neo, (and technically Zwei from the first chapter). Yeah, basically this is the chapter where all the bad guys die. Roman's death hurt Neo a lot, (I have another series where she lives through that feeling multiple times). Adam again proves that being an unlikable jerk means you die a painful death. In this version, Raven never did show up one time to save Yang on the train. She instead arrived for some shallow revenge and then got killed. In doing so, she passed the Spring Maiden powers to Pyrrha, who then took the Fall Maiden Powers from Cinder, who actually dies here. I know Cinder did not have the full power, but part would have still had gone to Pyrrha for being the last person she thought of after death. While her throwing a train was cool, I really liked Pyrrha going Final Explosion to kill the monsters and avenge her fallen friends. Nemesis is blown to bits, and Mr. X dies accomplishing part of his directives. So, what is the moral of this story of death and destruction? Who cares, go enjoy RE8 in any way you can. That's the reason I wanted to make this series, to celebrate the games. I don't think I will continue this even after the next game comes out, as I feel this is an appropriate ending. But who knows, maybe Neo wanders alone and into the castle, sees Lady Dimitrescu, and realizes that is a woman is over twice her height.
