Clarke leaned against the railing talking to Octavia. When someone approached from the side,

"You're new" a tall presence beside her called to her for attention.

"Clarke" she said putting her hand out.

"Dax" he replied shaking her hand.

"Dax, who's that?" another voice called. Before the voice made his way up the stairs, Dax stepped to the side to introduce him.

"Clarke, Murphy, Murphy, Clarke" he gestured back and forth.

"Sup?, This is Emori" he pulled a girl out from behind him.

"Hi, I'm Clarke." Clarke gave a small wave.

"Nice to meet you, I'm getting a drink, John do you want one?" Emori asked turning towards the door.

"Yeah babe" he responded following her into the house.

"So you from around here?" Dax asked.

"Yup, well kind of I just moved in next door, but before that I lived on the west coast"

"You have that California look" he laughed.

"I don't know if that's a compliment, but thank you" she replied unsure. She finished her drink and pushed off the railing, leaving Dax with Octavia and Lincoln. She found a garbage can inside and disposed of her cup.

Bellamy was wiping the counter in the kitchen off where someone clearly just dumped a drink.

"Bellamy" she called. He turned to face her,

"I just wanted to thank you for having me" he smirked trying to hide the the amusement.

"Clarke, its a party, you don't have to thank me"

"But I drank and didn't bring anything" she replied seriously.

"Well around here that's okay, thanks for coming" he sent her a smile and turned back to cleaning.

"Goodnight" she said quietly, she turned walking towards the living room.

"Night" he replied. He watched her walk out the door, smiling to himself, she is cute but so out of her element.

She stepped out onto the porch, She said goodnight to Lincoln and Octavia before walking across the yard to her house.

She laid in bed not wanting to get up, morning came faster then she would have liked it to, she already heard Lincoln let the dogs out. Her phone buzzed across the dresser a few times, she was avoiding it. Only people who had her phone in her new town were Lincoln, Octavia, and Bellamy. Two of them were only because she had to give it to them for work. So whoever it is, was probably from a life she left behind. She sighed grabbing the phone, just incase it was work related.

3 New texts* stared back at her. She taped the message to open them.

(950) 876-2541: Clarke?

(950) 876-2541: I miss you.

(950) 876-2541: Call me

She read the number over and over. It was a California number, but not one she recognized.

Clarke: who is this?

(950) 876-2541: You forgot me that easily?

(950) 876-2541: Heard you moved to the east coast?

Clarke: I'm sorry I don't recognize this #, I think you have the wrong person.

(950) 876-2541: I know it's you

The last message freaked her out, she refused to play the game. She ignored it and left it on read. She racked her brain on who it could be, I mean it could obviously be Emerson but she knows his number, although its not hard to change your number.

She stood at the stove making breakfast, the messages still replaying in her head. Lincoln just got back from his morning run.

"I love being just in time for breakfast" he laughed.

Clarke handed him her phone with the messages open. Before grabbing their plates and filling them with food.

"Do you recognize this number?"

He scanned the messages.

"No, some asshole" he replied

"Emerson?" she asked.

"Could be, don't answer anymore, I wouldn't worry too much, we are a long way from Cali" Lincoln reassured her.

He set her phone down and filled a coffee cup for her before grabbing Orange Juice for himself and joining her at the table.

She ate quietly.

"You don't think he'd come here?" Clarke asked.

"He doesn't even know where we are, not that I'm worried if he does. I'll show him out like I did last time" Lincoln reassured her.

"Maybe I'm worrying to much" she stated. She walked out to the mailbox to see if anything had came. Bellamy stood in his front yard picking up cans.

"Morning" he called with a smile, he took in her appearance. Even first thing in the morning she was beautiful.

She felt her face heat remembering she was in booty shorts and a revealing tank top, hair in a messy bun, if the ground could swallow her up she would be begging for it.

"Morning" she replied quietly hurrying to her front door.

"She's something to look at" Finn stated walking over to Bellamy.

"She is something" he chuckled at her fast departure.

Lincoln stepped out into the backyard, moving furniture around. He nodded to the guys, they replied with a

"Morning"

Finn moved closer to Bellamy.

"You think he's hitting that?" he asked.

Bellamy continued picking up cans with Finn's help.

"I know who's not hitting that" he laughed.

Finn scowled tossing cans in the bag.

"I love Raven, but she's so Raven"

"Yup and that's what keeps you there, Maybe you should try to be there more often, you may enjoy it" Bellamy offered.

"You gonna try and hit that?"

"For the love of God man, I just want to clean the yard up." he answered.

"That wasn't a no" Finn laughed.

Bellamy just shook his head as he tied the bag.

"Seeing as I got to be part of that riveting conversation with you, can you go grab more bags off the counter?" Bellamy asked. Finn smirked before disappearing into the house.

He tossed them to Bellamy.

"I have to go to work" he called.

"Good" Bellamy replied.

"That still wasn't a no" he laughed before getting in his car.

Bellamy sighed lifting the full bag to swing onto his shoulder when it hit something. He turned abound to see Clarke brushing off her shirt from where she took a direct hit, she had a few leaves stuck to her. He could hear Lincoln laugh as he headed into the house.

"I'm Sorry" he stated putting the bag down. She changed into jeans and a t-shirt. He instantly missed the sleepwear from earlier.

"Um, I was just coming over to see if you needed help." She looked up at him. He reached out pulling a leaf from her hair.

"Nope, I'm all set, Thanks though" he replied. He watched as she looked around the yard still seeing cans in the grass. He could see she took it as he didn't want her around.

"Oh, okay then, see you around" she forced a smile and walked back across the yard to her house.

He threw the bag in the back of his truck. Talking to himself.

"Good job Blake, hit her with a garbage bag and then turn her away, your killing it this morning!"

Truth was he wouldn't have minded her company, he just didn't want her picking up garbage in his yard, hell he didn't want to be doing it. He rounded the corner as Lincoln approached him.

"I'd ask if you need help, but I heard the reply twice before I left the house" He laughed.

"I don't have any problem with her, I just didn't want her picking up garbage in my yard"

The door slamming caused both of them to look her way, She had Roscoe and Callie on leashes and walked down the road in the opposite direction of them.

"I'd say you got your point across"

"That wasn't how I meant it" Bellamy sighed.

"Aren't women fascinating?" Lincoln laughed.

"No, this is why I never date" Bellamy stated tossing the last can in the bag.

"Never say never, the right girls have a way of changing things" Lincoln smiled.
