Flashback, to when Marinette woke up. Marinette's POV
When I woke up I was on the couch, and I didn't see my parents or Cole in the room. 'I don't know what it is about him, but I love him,' I think to myself. I sat up and I felt an unbelievable hunger, then I remembered that I asked Cole to turn me into a vampire. "Hey Cole, where are you?" I yell out. He came vamp speeding into the room. "Hey Pixie, how do you feel?" He asks me. I blush at the pet name, "Hungry," I respond. He smiles, nods, and goes get a blood bag. "I'll give you a choice, Pixie, either the blood bag, or we can go out hunting and I can teach you how to use compulsion. I think about it. "Would I have to kill the person?" I ask. He shakes his head. "The plan is, you lure them, restrain them, drink, and erase their memory, or as many vampires call it 'snatch, eat, erase', and I'll be at your side the whole time," he explains. "OK lets go hunt," I respond with a smile. He told me that we should wait until nighttime. Cole spent the rest of the day explaining my powers and emotions in more detail. He also told me that the older a vampire was the stronger it was, and all of the weaknesses of a vampire. I can't be Ladybug anymore so I took off my earrings. "Oh Pixie, here you'll need this," Cole said. He hands me a ring. I put it on my finger. "You must never take off that ring when you're outside during the daytime," he says seriously. I nod. We make small talk until nighttime.
Two hours later(that night) Cole's POV
I and Marinette are in an alleyway. I see a man approaching. "OK, Pixie, just like I explained it." I tell her. She stumbles out and towards the man. The man sees Mari and rushes to help her. "Miss are you ok?" He asks. Marinette looks him in the eye and compels him, "Follow me into the alley. You will not question me or my friend, and you will not scream." Marinette tells him in a calm voice. I smile in the shadow. I then see her lead him into the alleyway. She shows her true face and fangs, then bites the man's neck. She is snarling and growling. I let her drink for a couple minutes then I made her stop. I turn her around and ask, "You ok?" She nods and kisses me. I kiss her back. "Now erase his memory of this, Mari," I say. She wiped the blood with the man's sleeve, looked into his eyes and said "You remember nothing that happened here. You were attacked by an animal, but you blacked out and didn't get a good look at it. You, then woke up and went home." The man nods with a blank look on his face, then leaves. I take Marinette home "A great first date," I state. She looks at me and asks, "Are we dating, or testing." She has a deep blush. I take her hands and say, "Mari I would be honored to be your boyfriend." Then I kiss her and tell her goodnight. I then went back to the apartment.
Meanwhile, in another part of Paris Adrien POV.
I'm walking home, mad that Marinette and Ladybug both rejected me, and wondering what Hawkmoth is up to. As I walk a masked man jumps out in front of me. "Give me your money!" He commands, while holding a knife. "No," I say, and I try to go around him. He waited until my back was to him, then he grabbed my shoulder. He then turned me around and stabbed me. I reacted and I snapped his neck. Once I calmed down, I felt an unusual pain go through my body. I decided to look at my stab wound, but it was already healed. 'What the hell?' I think. I just decided to call the cops and go home.
Sunday Morning Cole's POV
I woke up, showered, drank a bag, and watched the news. Apparently, Adrien was attacked last night, whatever I don't care about him. I finished my bag, grabbed one for Marinette and went to the bakery. I vamp sped to the bakery and walked in. "Tom, Sabine, Pixie, I'm here," I call out. Mari hears me before her parents, and she vamps speed to me and hugs me. I laugh and hug her back. "Here you go, Pixie." I say once she lets me go. She takes the blood bag and drinks it. "So what are we doing today?" She asked me. I tell her, "I'm going to help you get control of your abilities and your bloodlust." "OK, please because I've been looking at mom and dad like they are my next meal," she explains to me. I comfort her and we get to work.
2 hour later, Cole's POV
Marinette and I are in an isolated part of the park, practicing to control her supernatural abilities. "Great job Pixie," I tell her after she destroyed her eighth cinder block. She shakes her hand, which was already healing, and smiles at me. I taught her all that I could. "I think you've got full control of your abilities and bloodlust Mari," I congratulate her. She hugs me, but it wasn't like this morning where she was squeezing me, this one was a normal human one. I hug her back and kiss her. "Lets go to a cafe, Cole," she offers. I nod and we leave the park.
Cafe, Class 3rd POV, an hour before Cole and Marinette come in
Alya and the class were on a warpath. Lila had shown up at Alya's house all bloody and bruised. "Lila, oh my God, what happened?" Alya asked in worry. "C-Cole beat me last night, and he threatened my mother," Lila said in tears. Alya was mad she called the class and told them to come over. "We are going to war," she told them darkly. Max had refined the vervain into a liquid that can be mixed into a drink. They went to the cafe, and threatened the lady to put the liquid vervain into Cole's drink. They hide and wait for Cole and Mari to come in.
Cole's POV café
I walk in with Mari and we get a table. Soon a waitress comes and asks what we would like to drink. "I would like a coffee. Black," I say. She writes it down and asks Marinette what she wants. "I'll take a coffee too, but cream and sugar," she responds. The lady nods and leaves. I see some teens on the other side of the café, but I pay them no mind. Soon the waitress returns with our coffees and asks what we want to eat. "I'll like a burger and fries," I reply. She nods, but I notice she looks nervous. She then asks Mari. "I'll take steak and rice," she answers. The waitress nods then leaves in a hurry. I look at Mari and she gives me the same look. I take a drink of my coffee, and then I feel the tell-tail burning. I start choking and coughing. Marinette is at my side asking what's wrong. "Ver-vervain in my c-coffee." I choke out. I look around and I don't see those teenagers anywhere. 'Aww damn it' I think. I started to feel better, Pixie gave me her coffee. Now I am royalty pissed off. "It was our class Marinette!" I whisper to her, with my vampire face showing. She nods, "Go deal with them. I'll take care of loose ends here," she tells me. I nod and dart out.
The class, Alya's POV
Nino, Ivan, Alix, Nathanael, Kim, Mylène, Max, Sabrina, Juleka, Rose, Lila, Adrien, and I left the cafe and are heading to Adrien's house. We keep looking behind us to make sure we aren't followed. "OK what do we do now guys?" Rose asks in fear. Before I can answer, we all hear something move fast behind us. "What was that?" Mylène yells in fear, looking at Ivan for comfort. We are all looking around, then we hear it in front of us. We scream, and hear a sinister laughing. We stay on guard for a minute then it's quiet. "Come on let's get to Adrien's house. We continue to Adrien's house. We are a block from his house when we hear movement behind us again. "Show yourself!" Kim yells out. Kim, Ivan, Nino, and Max get ready to fight whoever is behind us. We jumped when Cole spoke in front us, "I'll gladly show myself," he said. Kim runs towards him. Cole sidesteps him and kicks Kim in the stomach, then throws him hard into a wall. I see Nino flinch. Max and Ivan charge him at the same time. He dodges Max and punches Ivan in the jaw, then he grabs Max's arm and breaks it at the elbow. He throws Max to the ground and starts kicking Ivan over and over again. He stops and turns to the rest of us, "Consider this your warning, keep going on and your family will end up like Mr. Agreste," He tells us. His eyes were blood red and he had black veins under his eyes. He then speeds off, I see Adrien trying not to break down. "Come on guys let's get Ivan, Max, and Kim to the hospital," I say still in shock. They nod and help me.
