(A/N) I don't own maximum ride, but I own this knife.
After Max's team of freaking S.W.A.T commandos finished off the erasers, we flew back to her house. We land on her roof. It's almost night. We look back up at the stars. We look at the constellations. She says to me
"I'll take a long time for me to trust you again" ya know. I snort
"well you mutter my name in your sleep". Turns out she does hate but she looooooves me. Max's face reddened once again.
"Well- I-" I cut her off
"well looks like someones not over me just yet"
She looked back at me and then proceeded to immediately come and tackle me with a hug. Then she kissed me. She was fierce. It was as if the 20 years we had spent apart were unleashed. We kissed. I missed her. I love her. There were so many emotions in my head I didn't know what to say. I spent what felt like an entity just being with her.
"Never Ever Ever Ever leave me again" she mumbled at me. She brought me to tears. This was Max. And Max still loved me.
"I won't. Never again"
After what felt like a million lifetimes she pulled away she offered a hand and she helped pick me up. Then out of nowhere, I get round housed in the chest. I gathered back, almost falling off the roof.
"That's what you get for leaving me." I smile. That my Maximum Ride. I tease her
"Did it hurt, falling down from heaven?"
"NO but I scraped my knees coming out if hell" And she winked at me (A/N) Anyone gets that reference? No?
