I would like to apologize. I've been too focused on remastering the released chapters instead of writing new chapters. This is a message regarding the current status of the story. I would like to thank the people who followed and favorited this story. Though I really appreciate the support you gave me, this message is about how I'm feeling about this series currently. It's also about discussing my plans in the future.
I honestly started this story with no plan going into this and that's how I lost momentum and energy on this series, making me slow down. There's a lot of other reasons but being unprepared to write this story was where it all went downhill for me. It made me really express some issues in the story itself. I kept on coming back to previous chapters to fix some things that I did wrong only to come back again to fix other things I forgot about. The whole story just became a mess to me. I don't want to fool myself thinking and fix everything in here. So, I have decided to come to a conclusion and…
Neon Genesis Evangelion: Telephone Booth Meeting is canceled.
It doesn't mean I'm abandoning the series. I still like the idea of Shinji and Asuka meeting in the first episode. I'm actually going to start from scratch… again but I'm going to take and make some plans for the story before I restart again. I have been struggling too much because I've focused too much. What I mean by starting from scratch is reinvention. There will be major changes to the newer version, mainly the name of the story, the structure, and the writing.
I want to discuss the name for a second. I want to change it to something shorter. Telephone Booth Meeting feels really long for me and I would rather have it shorter.
I also have other story ideas planned which have popped up in my head. They seem good on my part. I want to build up these ideas and plan them out first. I don't want to make the same mistake I made with this story so I'll be careful.
Hopefully with a plan for this story, I'll have more momentum and energy than when I started and write this new version with a new name and better writing. I probably won't be releasing a new story or a new chapter for a while. I really want to play it safe this time.
I'll keep this story up as a reminder of my failed attempt.
I'll also keep this message how it is and will NOT make any changes to it. Even if I missed something else I wanted to say.
