Balan Wonderworld: The Rusherz ACT
Act 5 Red ridding hood, red head ridding hood
Balan felt the Rusher stir as Chief opened his eyes and yawned, stretching while making sure not to accidentally hit his friend. Balan smiled as Chief rubbed his eyes.
Balan: Good sleep?
Chief: Yeah, best one I had in a while. You sleep well too?
Balan nodded, not wanting to tell the Rusher of his encounter with Lance yet. Chief nodded.
Chief: Think we might be able to grab something to eat when we get off here.
With that the two exited the train and entered the next world.
The storybook opened showing a familiar red head girl talking with he parents, a basket in hand and a red hood on. The next scene shown her walking into the woods waving to her parents. The next page shown two familiar Rusherz hunters watching over for a familiar big bad wolf...while being watched by a different wolf.
Balan and Chief were sitting underneath a tree on a blanket, eating breakfast waiting for the character to make her appearance.
Chief: Gotta say, this was a good idea while we wait for Red to come.
Balan sipped his tea as he nodded.
Balan: Of course we couldn't continue our quest with an empty stomach.
Chief was about to reach for a sandwich, but stopped when he saw someone ELSE had it in their hands. Needless to say who was playing this wolf in the story made Chief's jaw drop
Chief: Balan...
Balan turned to him confused.
Balan: Yes?
Chief: Whose playing the bad wolf?
Balan: Not anyone you know, why?
Chief:...Why is Blow-Torch a wolf?
Balan looked at what Chief was staring at, holding in a chuckle. Indeed this was a wolf version of the steel city Rusher, gold fur and eyes staring at them with a sheepish grin forming.
Blow-Torch?: Before you panic, I'm just here for the picnic, not you.
It was silent between them..
...
Chief: *Laughing hard*
Chief fell back laughing as Balan and the were-Rusher looked on very confused.
Blow-Torch?: Ummm, did i do something?
Balan: I am not sure.
Chief, after a few minutes, finally calmed down as he took some breaths.
Chief: S-Sorry. I don't mean to laugh but...I ALWAYS did wonder what would happen if one of my friends was a humanoid/animal hybrid, YOU my friend just made my morning better.
Balan chuckled, realizing that Chief was laughing at what was going on.
Balan: Well, that was surprising to you then.
Chief: OHOHO I am SOO going to tell Blow-Torch about this!
Blow-Torch?: Um, confused wolf here?
Chief: Sorry about that, my name is Chief and it's just, you look like a wolf version of my friend Blow-Torch.
Balan: *Bowing* Balan is my name good sir
Beacon: Beacon..Balan, Chief, why in the WORLD are you out HERE eating?! Don't you know there is a wolf out there?
Chief: Uhhh..
Beacon facepalm at what he said.
Beacon: Wolves who are not SANE AND CIVILIZED.
Balan: Well, we have heard about someone going to her grandmothers house-
Beacon: WHAT?! WHO IN THE WORLD WOULD-
They heared humming, peeking through the bushes seeing the titular character walking down the path.
Chief: So Ash is Red, yeah i can see that.
Beacon: IS SHE INSANE?!
Beacon quickly went over, Chief about to follow but was stopped by Balan.
Balan: Best not to cause a bigger stir in panic.
Beacon:-WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD ANYONE LET A LITTLE GIRL WALK ALONE IN THE WOODS WITH A WILD WOLF ON THE PROWL!?
The two turned back to Beacon talking to Red.
Red: Uhh...Aren't you a-
Beacon: NO! I more civilized than that crazy wolf! Pardon me, what is your name?
Ruby: Ruby?
Beacon nodded and sighed.
Beacon: Alright then, I'll accompany you to your grandmother's house and back home.
Ruby: Wait what...but my mother just told me to stay on the pat-
Beacon: And your mother will get an earful for not accompany you.
With that Beacon offered his hand and Ruby, though unsure, took it as they walked down the path once again. Chief noticed a patch of fur from Beacon's, touching it and flashed into a costume change. Both he and Balan popped their heads out, Balan turning to see a red wolf helmet on Chief's head as well and a wolf's coat and pawed shoes and fingerless gloves.
Chief: I'm beginning to see that fairy-tales have a weird obsession with wolves.
Balan: You actually go me Chief, though you do look nice.
Chief: Why thank you Balan-
The sounds of guns clicking made the two jump and turned to see two Rusherz holding them a point, who looked liked Toro and Pillage, glaring at them.
Toro?: Any last words?
Balan: Well, bad timing on our end Chief. Easy gentlemen! This is a costume!
Pillage: A likely stor-
Chief: He's serious! See!
Chief quickly got in front of Balan taking off the helmet, his eyes showing no fear as he was ready to fight them if he needed to even if they did look like his friends. Luckily, they lowered their weapons seeing that Chief was not a wolf.
Toro?: Raiden, he's telling the truth. Sorry about that.
Chief: Yeah sorry about that..um, my name is Chief.
Balan: And I am Balan.
Raiden: My name is Raiden, this is Texs.
Tex: Why in sam hill are you wearing that?
Chief: Suppose to help me...
Balan: I suppose you are looking for a wild wolf?
Raiden: Correct, you seen it?
Chief: Just a gold wolf angry that Ruby was alone in the woods so he's guiding her to her Grandmother's house.
They both paled at that.
Balan: Is something the matter?
Tex: THAT WOLF, is being targeted by the wild wolf
With that the two ran off in the direction the two before went. Now all that was left was Balan and Chief.
Balan: Oh dear...this is a twist.
Chief placed the helmet back on before sniffing the air before running through the bushes.
Chief: I found a short cut! We can beat that wild wolf at their own game!
Balan nodded as they ran through the brush.
Later, Grandma's house
Grandma: Dearie this is a bit silly.
Chief, still in the wolf costume, placed the night bonnet on his head. He and Balan had beaten everyone to the house and NOW Chief was going to do a role reversal with the Bad wolf by disguising himself as the grandmother, nightgown and bonnet.
Chief: I know it is, ridiculous even, but it is better than being digested.
Balan: We promise though no harm will come to you and your granddaughter, now my dear hide quick!
The Grandma nodded still confused in the closet. Balan cleared his throat.
Balan (Grandma voice): How this Chief?
Chief: Brilliant!
They heard the door knocking, Balan quickly going in his hat and Chief went in the bed and covered up. Giving Balan the thumbs up.
Balan (Grandma voice): Come in!
The wolf came in, with a red cape around it. Chief and Balan had to chuckle internally at this.
Balan (Grandma voice): Why dear Red ridding hood, what brings you here on this lovely day?
Chief mouthed the words Balan said on point, the wolf going closer.
Wolf: *Bit high* To see you dear grandmother, with a surprise.
Balan (Grandma voice): Why dear Red, what a deep voice you have! Are you ill?
Wolf: *Bit high* The better to greet you granmothe-
The wolf looked closely at Chief, looking confused. At this point Ruby, beacon, Raiden and Tex arrived and were looking through the window.
Wolf: *Bit high* Goodness, what big eyes you have you have today!
Balan (Grandma voice): Better to see you my dear Red.
Wolf: *Bit high* And what big hands you have!
Balan (Grandma voice): The better to hug you my dear Red.
Wolf: *Bit high* And what-*normal voice* small freckles you have?
Chief: And i like them-SURPRISE!
The wolf actually gave a high scream as Chief ripped of the disguise reveling his wolf costume and Beacon tackling the Bad wolf to the wall.
Beacon: I GOT YOU AT LAST MURDERER!
The wolf snarled as his shadow came to life and jumped out of it's place making the wolf pass out.
Ruby: Your kidding me-
Raiden: THAT'S THE BIG BAD WOLF, THAT'S WHO HAS BEEN EATING EVERYONE!?
The shadow wolf sharp teeth snarled as it jumped through the window, Chief eyes dilated as he growled, going after it. Balan eyes widen in fear as he went after him, the sun setting.
Balan: CHIEF WAIT! DON'T GO OUT THERE ALONE!
Chief chased after the shadow, letting the costume take him over. He never felt this free before, there was no worries, no panic...NO PAIN FOR THE PEOPLE HE LOVES.
Chief: Go row the boat to safer grounds

Chief dodge a low branch as he ran.

Balan meanwhile was running looking for Chief, worry on his face..then hearing something

A shadow pointed Balan to where Chief was, as he started Running.

Chief turned to Balan, the Shadow wolf in his grips looking at the Maestro in fear.
Balan: Chief, I know we need to beat this thing...but you going a tad bit overboard.
Chief rose an eye at this.
Chief: Well, these things are just as bad as Blitzbots and Blitzborgs, so of course I have to catch it. Besides, these things are just as bad as them so of course I'm going to eliminate them especially after what they did to my friends, after all an eye for an eye right?
Balan: Chief your glue is melting. I understand that would work for bots BUT if you smash this thing it would do no good, the crystal would not be smashed and just go to a different world to cause problems.
Chief eyes returned to normal abit.
Chief: R-Really?
Balan nodded, prompting Chief to let go of the shadow wolf who growled at them, ready for battle.
Chief: Wish I knew this before i went a bit crazy there..
Balan: Chief..is there something you wish to share about what just happened.
Chief sheepishly blushed..
Chief: Well...
Flashback, after Sudden Death's first defeat...
Chief woke to the sound of a crash followed by footsteps. He got up and went to investigate, seeing Pillage on the ground kneeling as he clutched his head.
Chief: *Whisper yell* PILLAGE?
Pillage turned quickly to see Chief, his eyes having bags under them.
Pillage: C-Chief, sorry if i woke you up.
Chief saw the stitches around Pillage's chest as he came to him, going down next to him.
Chief: Are you alright? I know these past few weeks have been rough since the funeral.
Pillage sighed, shaking his head. It was there a door was heard opening and Arrow-Head came out, seeing the two. Seeing Pillage he immediately put two and two together.
Arrow-Head: That dream again, you against you bot self.
Pillage nodded, Arrow-Head walking up to the two and bring them to his room. Few minutes later Pillage, Chief and Arrow-Head were sitting on Arrow-Head's bed.
Pillage: Good news is i win, but it still hurts.
Chief: I-I-I wish i could have done something to help you guys...
Pillage: Chief you-
Chief: No..I mean...Sudden Death he-
He trailed off.
Arrow-Head: Chief, what's wrong?
Chief: Sudden Death appeared the day Ish was grounded, in the locker room
Both: *Shock* WHAT!?
Chief: I abandon the shard to try and stop him from getting Ish without knowing he was grounded...If i just let him be-
Pillage turned Chief to face him.
Pillage: Chief what you did was DANGEROUS. What could happen if you got hurt, Arrow-head would have a heart attack.
Arrow-Head: Pillage-
Pillage: Chief, i know your worried about us but you don't need to face enemies like Sudden Death!
Chief blushed a bit in embarrassment, Pillage then sighed.
Pillage: HOWEVER, you did do the right thing and prevented Sudden Death from going outside, chaos would be everywhere if he relieved himself to the public...Just DON'T do that again alone.
Chief looked up and nodded, a small smile on his face.
Arrow-Head: Yeah Chief, make sure you don't go after people like Sudden Death alone.
Present...
Chief: So yeah...i kinda had that mindset and thought i could do this sole. BUT i forgot this is not a bot or borg.
Balan: That would explain your behavior...but please don't scare me like that.
Chief nodded, blushing with a sheepish grin...a grin that caused the shadow wolf to lick it's lips and jump ready to pounce him. Balan then answered him by making a barrier shield the knocked the shadow wolf back, finally weakening it's final energy.
Balan: You did do a good job weakening it, Shall we?
Balan offered his hand to Chief, which he grinned and garbed, before they proceeded to ram into the Shadow wolf, breaking the crystal.
The storybook returned, with the news of the bad wolf being defeated and Red's grandmother coming out of the closet, relieved to see her granddaughter safe as they hugged. The unconscious wolf's body was being carried by Raiden and Tex, being escorted by Beacon, to the other side of the forest far from the village and house. The wolf wakes up, looking around before running off, never to harm the village again.
Meanwhile...
Blow-Torch: I WAS WOLF! A GOLDEN WOLF! EXPLAIN THAT PLEASE!?
Toro was trying his best to calm down the confused Rusher, while Pillage was trying to hold in his laugh. Jose Gallard had invited most of the Rusherz over to explain what was going on when Blow-Torch, Pillage and Toro came into the hotel lobby looking for answers. Turns out Jose was not the only one visiting the states, twelve others were with him as well.
Bruce Stone: I do believe it was an interpretation on how this child see's you.
Blow-Torch: AS. A. WOLF?
Els Glover: And i was turned into a dragon fire hydrant, beleive me it could have been alot stranger.
Steed: Alright then...
Els Glover: Yeah best not to ask questions when with Balan
Pillage: Right but...is Balan a GOOD GUY? I mean, speaking for Arrow-Head who is Chief's older brother and Lasso who is very close to Chief, but we never heard of this guy before?
Sana Hudson: Balan is a good guy, unpredictable, but a good guy. Always ready for a performance and never tired of the audience. Chief is in good hands.
Lucy Wong: Where is the said Rusherz of the Chiefs and Cowboys?
With that they Rusherz sighed.
K-9: Arrow-Head has been busy trying to help with the clean up from the damages...as for Lasso...
Fang: He's at a meeting with the NFL teams owners in the recent incidents..he want's to rally them to face this madness
Stallion:...We hope...
