Verse 5: School Days Pt 4
Jack and Elza are going through the halls to head for the library to hear Rachel's voice through the pocket radio. "Rachel," he said as Elza stops to hear her voice too to hear her message.
"Thank goodness, that asshole is dead," Elza said feeling a wash of relief with Jack having the same thoughts.
"Good, she is in a safe place within the labs. We need to get her out of there," Jack said.
"Indeed," Elza said as they hear a familiar scream that echoes through the empty hallways.
"Oh no, the big girl wants to come out and play," Jack said as the wall burst open to reveal the tall lanky female humanoid to let out a painful cry of rage.
"What do we do now?" Elza asked as Jack is firing his battle rifle for the heavy rounds cut into her flesh but it only enrages her to charge at them like a wild bull ready to rip them apart.
"We need to fight and put her down," Jack said as fires his G3AK4 rifle to rip into her chest to leave holes in her dress but no damage is done to her body.
"Well hope we don't become bloody pancakes," Elza said as she fires her shotgun filled with slugs to hit their marks but the female mutant is rushing forward without pause.
"We need a better area to fight," the duo goes off to run away from the B. as several Undertakers try to stop the duo.
They go into another room with the Angel tackling through the group of Undertakers to kill one of them via impact. They open fire on the monster girl as the bullets barely did any damage. Elza noticed a few shock grenades on a dead Undertaker.
"These can come in handy," she said as she takes them and puts them into her bag.
The Angel grabs the head of an Undertaker by her huge hand and crushes it with her raw strength. She then tosses the broken body into a group of Undertakers for them to roll out of the way to open fire on the beastly young woman.
The group of highly trained BOWs was holding off the beast but nothing is working with the current weapons they have now as she smashes through the squads of enemies for the duo to go into another classroom.
Suddenly the Angel smashes through the walls to grab desks and chairs to toss at them. They duck and roll out of the way for them to get out of the room. "She is blowing through everything we throw at her," Elza said as they see they are nearby the swimming pool area.
"Perfect, into the pool room," Jack said as the duo goes into the vast room to see the blue-colored room with a large pool in the middle with doors that go to locker rooms and storage rooms.
"Wish I had my bikini," Elza said in a joking manner for the roars from the Angel are getting louder until they got hit in a hard tackle to knock them into the pool room. Jack drops his double-barrel hunting rifle in the room as they get onto their feet.
"Shit," Jack said as he aims his rifle to fire into the monster but he gets hit by Angel's long forearm to knock him onto the ground.
"What do we do?" Elza asked.
"Get that bitch in the water, we are going to fry her," Jack said as he tries to get up to feel his body is quite sore from the strong impacts.
"Okay," she said as she runs from an incoming punch from the Angel as she draws out her Glock 18 to pepper the skin of the mutant with her machine pistol. The bullets cut into the skin but have done no damage as the monster leaps at the young woman.
Jack goes for the hunting rifle as Elza is trying to not get hit while shooting back. She drops the empty magazine and slips in a fresh new one to duck under another punch. Angel smashes both palms onto the floor to let out a shockwave that stunned Elza.
Angel grabs her with her big meaty hand and flings her across the room to barely miss going into the pool of water. "Elza," Jack sounding worried as she slides into a chair.
"I am fine, sort of," Elza said as the lumbering Angel is approaching her with her disfigured face etched with pain and disgust ready to rip Elza in half.
Jack finally managed to grab the double-barrel rifle to hold onto the grip tightly ready to fire on command. "Got it," Jack said as he gets into a shooting stance with him crouching to aim for Angel's arm.
"Jack, do something," Elza said as she is firing her G18 pistol for it only made the Angel angrier. Elza rolls away as she barely dodges a ground pound.
"Hey Angel, I hope you like a good swim," Jack shouted to get Angel's attention as she turns around to see Jack firing his elephant gun with one of the huge bullets coming out of the rifle with a thunderous crack that echoed throughout the room. The sheer recoil made him back away a bit as the round hits Angel's shoulder to have enough power to sever the arm from the body.
"You did it. Jack, you manage to hurt her," Elza said looking happy about this as the monster is gripping her arm as her severed arm slot is violently leaking blood on the floor. She gets away fast to not get infested blood on her person.
The monster is moaning and shrieking in agony as she falls into the pool to struggle to get out of there. The Angel's blood is rippling into the clear water starting to make the pool shine red.
"Time to give her shock treatment," she thought as she tosses all three shock grenades into the pool as the triple burst of electricity is shocking the beastly young woman. The moans become roars of rage as she leaps out of the pool to land on the floor.
The Angel's skin is roosted from the intense electrocution and her gown is ruined to leave her naked to show how badly her body is taking the abuse of the combat. She unleashes a deep bellow that shakes the whole room to tackle Elza.
Elza manages to escape the tackle to head for Jack as she leaps onto the floor. Angel turns around for she makes eye contact with Jack as he got his aim onto her head. "Chew on this," Jack fires the last .700 Nitro round for it makes its mark to smash into her head. The head explodes to left nothing but an exposed neck slot with blood squirting out of it.
The Angel collapses onto the floor to be finally dead. "Hot damn, that was crazy, a perfect 10 shot," Elza said as Jack holds onto his shoulder for it feels very sore. "You okay?" she asked.
"This recoil kicked my ass but it did the job too well," Jack toss the rifle away. "Let's go to the library and get into the secret lab," Jack said as he switches to his battle rifle for the duo to manage to find the library.
They find a section on the wall to press a panel to unlock a secret door to see a plain white hallway not matching with the rest of the complex. "We hit the jackpot, time to get my friend back," Elza said as they go into the hallways to see a lot of zombies coming down the hallway.
"Shit, that is a lot of zombies," Elza said as they see a bunch of dead Undertakers on the floor who made their final stand with one Undertaker who looks too big to be like the others. Jack sees an HK21E machine gun coming with a default 100 round ammo box as he takes the machine gun to set it to three-round burst.
"Like shooting fish in a barrel," Jack said as he shoulders the weapon as the horde is getting closer with them moaning and groaning. "Time to go ape shit on these assholes," he set his gun ablaze as the three-round bursts tear through the incoming zombies.
The bullets cut down several zombies at once as the heavy NATO rounds are leaving behind a wake of carnage. The once clean white walls are smeared with red and broken body parts littered the floor. The machine gun booms through the corridors as the zombies are dropping like flies for nothing can be heard but the empty clicks of the HK21E machine gun.
"Damn, are you secretly Rambo or something?" Elza asked as she was dumbfounded by the amount of gore on display to be scattered everywhere. Jack tosses it away to return to his G3KA4 battle rifle.
"I wish, come on," Jack said as they fight their way through the remaining zombies and Undertakers to be by an area where there is a battle that took place.
"This seems to be the place Rachel is talking about," Elza said as they find the door to unlock it to see the tall blond asleep on the chair. "Oh; here is sleeping beauty just chilling on the chair," she joked as Jack goes up to wake her up.
"Hey; sleeping beauty, wake up," he said to shake her shoulder for her blue eyes to meet with his own blue ones as she gives him a big hug.
"Oh, my knight in shining armor has come to rescue me," Rachel said in her usual peppy voice.
"You forgot about me there," Elza said as she gets a hug from Rachel as well.
"Of course, I thank you both for saving me," Rachel said.
"No problem," Jack said as he looks at Rachal's new blue bodysuit which is hugging her curves very well especially her breasts, hips, ass, and legs. "What is with that suit?" he asked.
"Yeah, where did you get it from?" Elza asked as she is curious as well.
"Oh, I found it here, it's a prototype battle suit that is lightweight and comfortable while being tougher than solid steel. All of it made from spider silk," she said as Elza raises a blond ear brow at this.
"Right," she said with confusion in her tone of voice.
"Well, silk from spiders is pretty strong. It makes sense to try and use it to make lightweight body armor," Jack said to go up to Mark's terminal to see all the data stored within it. "Good I can transfer this into a memory stick," Jack pulls out a small chip to insert on the side of the computer.
"Hey Jack, do you think this looks cool on me?" Rachel asked as she shows off her bodysuit to him as he is distracted by her curvaceous features sticking out on the suit.
"It looks pretty good on you Rachel, keep it close. You are going to need it in this hellscape and good work dealing with the creep," Jack said as Rachel's heart leaped with happiness to get praise from him.
"Right," she said with a bright cheerful smile that Jack has grown to adore about her.
"Okay, I manage to collect data on these experiments here. Good for evidence for Leon to have for his government bosses," Jack said as he pulls out the chip and places it into his jacket. "Time to go," Jack said as Rachel grabs her Uzi to shoulder it.
"Alright," Rachel said as Jack looks to see a command on the terminal which can set off the self-destruct to execute it.
"Warning self-destruct activated. Labs will be destroyed in 30 minutes," the voice said on the loudspeakers.
"There is a lift that can take us to a back entrance," Rachel said as they rush through the labs to see zombies and Undertakers fighting among each other, The trio mows through creatures with bullets and buckshots with them getting to the lift. They enter inside to press the button to go forward into a deep tunnel for the clock is ticking with 15 minutes left.
Soon enough, the trio manages to be within a building outside the school complex to be out of the blast radius. "Let's go back to base and rest up," Jack said for they head back for the school explodes rocking the surrounding area.
