Years later…

I sat by with my cousins in the car. My pets were in their crates. Our parents are not in the car yet. So that means we can talk. "Crystal, can I tell you something?" Kelly frowns. "Sure, what is it, Kelly?" Kelly had a lump in her throat.

"You know my parents are going to send me to boarding school?" Crystal frowns at Kelly. After the trip I'm going to Paris. "WHAT! Why are they sending you to boarding school?" Crystal said with a gloom look. Because she kept asking them about the father and daughter dance night. They got annoyed by it, Victor gloomed. "How about you Victor?" She asked.

No, they are not going to send me, he frowned.

"Crystal: How about your dad and you?" Grace asked. Not so good and he burned my sketchbook, she shook her head.

"WHAT!" The three gasped. "Of course, he did!" She cried. He just wants me to be a professional dancer and gymnast and an athlete as well… for the money… I'm pretty good at but that's not what I want to be, I have to grin and bare it….The teachers are impressed with me and put me in a hard level. That's not what I want to be an athlete… I don't know how to swim and am still learning.

"And you Grace?" She asks her. "They made me clean and cooked!" She let the steam out.. After this trip, I'm going to run away to Circus Olay and never see them again.

I'm probably going to watch my brother doing in trip; and I hate him. He is so rude towards me and selfish.

Be quiet, they are coming. We arrived in Mexico, which was the family's vacation home. I went to the little plaza in the town and I walked with my best pal Butterball. He always walks by me and tries to protect me. "Doggy!" The little girl spotted us and ran to give my dog a hug. "What is your name Doggy?" She grins. "What breed is he?" She got excited. Butterball gave her a kiss on the check. His name is Butterball and he is a German Shepherd.

"Cool!" Her eyes light up. Well, bye Butterball I have to go now, the girl said. I saw people selling things and pretty neat stuff. I sat on a chair and started to sketch a picture of my mother and I remember the heartlocket was given to me by Mom before she died.

In the front says, "Forever in my heart."

I have a picture of her in the heart locket. I remembered my grandma telling me about her grandmother who she never met in her life and her mother was always busy and she couldn't come to see her school plays or anything even though she asked her mother when she was little girl, her mother would get sad

Flashback…

A Little Crystal of age 6 in a half and sitting by her Grandma Jiana. Grandma, do you think my mom will get better? The old lady gave a sad smile and said: I don't really know sweetheart, but I do know one thing is that you need to keep being around the ones you love.

Okay, Grandma, I love you and promise you will never leave Grandma me. I promised. A year passed her grandma died of leukemia after months later, she was sitting next to her mom. She was laying on the hospital bed because of the cancer treatments. My dad was talking to the doctor outside. "How is she Jim?" He asked. John, she is going to die any moment. We can't do anything at all… And we tried our best to help her, he sadly said.

Crystal… Her mom called out to her. "Yes, Mom. Her mom reaches out for her hand and holds it. Mom, I need to tell you something about dad. "What happened now?" She frowns. He yelled and cursed at me for drawing. He doesn't love me at all… He tells me he wanted a son instead of a daughter. She had a pain in her little heart. I don't know what to do… I'm probably should be a different me. Being a dancer and gymnast, even an athlete instead.

Her mom's heart bleed when she said that. "Don't pretend to be someone else, be you. "Promise me you won't give up on your dreams and never give up on it! Even things can be hard in life that doesn't mean that can't be yourself and enjoying the things you love to do… "Why are you closing your eyes?!" Crystal bust into tears.

The heart monitor stops and starts to beat. The doctor and nurses came running in the room.

"MOM!" She cried. "ANNA!" He screamed her name. My father picked me up and put me out of the room. I will always keep that promise that I made with my mom.

I always said that I will keep my promise with my mom but I… Never did. So what do I do now…?

End of Flashback...

I drew by the fountain; "I'm impressed with my skills at drawing it looks like realistic!" She said to herself with smirk. I explored all town, drew some drawings of people for money to exchange for United States change. I was hurt in inside and my heart was bleeding because I saw my mom's side of the family… They ignored me.

I also remember that my aunt told me where my grandmother Luciana lived, when they loved me. I'm going to find it! I ran off with Butterball to find the house. "I found it!" looks old and it's been abandoned or something?" She thought to herself.

I went through the back and see if I could get in the house. The doors were locked but I saw the window and maybe I could get in there. I grab a rock throw at the glass and it shattered. "Stay here, Butterball." She rubs him in the head. I will be right here back in a few ok. I reached into my backpack to get my flashlight and turned it on. I jumped over the window and it was the living room. "The room was like an old style theme with items from like 1930s!" She says in wow.

As I walked, I passed by the office and tried to open it but failed. "Maybe I can go hard on the doorknob… One two three!" Then I fell on the other side of the door.

There was a desk with photo frames on it. I went closer to see the pictures, awards too.

My eyes went big and wide when I see who was on it. "It was HER!" She was shock. My grandmother is with her husband. He was holding a guitar and wearing white.

Also, there's a picture of her by herself, I grab it and throw it to the ground.

I took the both of them and put them in my backpack. After that I went upstairs to look around and went to the bedroom to check out. The balcony door was locked and couldn't open it. I look at the bed and look under it.

Trying to look for something begins to her and move the one piece of the floor, I can't believe what I found hidden under it. A diary and a picture of her and her daughters one of them is my great-grandmother June.
