When Ella had finished asking Silvia her questions and after Silvia left to fetch the guards, she stood in front of her full-length mirror admiring her dress. Suddenly she saw a shadow out the corner of her eye. She turned thinking it was just Jareth trying to get a sneak peek at his bride, but when she turned she screamed. "Who are you? What ar-..." She paused. "I feel like I've seen you before. Like I've seen everything that's about to happen. Just like déjà vu…" Kane smiled, his plan was working.
He sat down casually in one of the armchairs. "That's because you have, sweet, Ella. I manipulated your dream last night." Ella gasped and began to back away from him. "Y-you're Kane." Her voice was trembling in fear as her nightmare flashed through her mind.
Kane grinned at her. Ella didn't see a step stool behind her as she tripped over it and fell to her side on the floor. Kane stood up and casually walked over to her. She went to back up but hit a wall. Kane kneeled down next to her.
Ella was frozen in fear. He reached out and caressed her cheek. "Ah, sweet defenseless Ella, how I enjoy the look of fear upon your angelic face. Though I enjoyed your defiant side in your dream last night, I think I prefer this side. The docile and obedient Ella." He gripped her chin tightly and brought her lips to his roughly.
He began kissing her passionately. His free hand proceeded to move down towards the hem of her dress, just like her dream. Ella remembered what happened when she tried to fight him off, so though she was terrified she fought the urge to fight back. Kane grinned as he knew she was succumbing to him. He picked her up in his arms bridal style and made his way over to the bed.
He laid her down gently. Ella closed her eyes afraid of what was to come next. Suddenly she felt her dress being torn from her body. Her eyes shot open. "What are you…" Kane threw the shredded gown to the floor and pushed his finger to her lips.
"Shhh, just lay still." He positioned himself on top of her and began slowly sliding her silk panties down her hips. Ella felt tears streaming down her face. She knew what was about to happen. A tiny thought rushed through her mind, 'This isn't how my dream went. Why is it so different? Why isn't Jareth coming to save me?'
Just as Kane slid the silk panties off her foot Jareth came barging in the door. "Get away from her Kane," Jareth growled in anger. Kane smirked maliciously. "Finally, now you can witness me defiling your bride." Kane quickly gripped Ella's thigh and positioned himself near her entrance. Ella tried to struggle but it was no use.
"Jareth please, help me," she screamed in terror. "Wait!" Jareth yelled out to Kane. Kane stopped and looked at Jareth. "Are you going to beg me to stop?" Kane grinned sadistically.
Jareth grinned back, "If you don't let her go you will no longer have a kingdom or an army to rule." Kane glared at Jareth in confusion. Then he pushed Ella's leg to the side and got off the bed. "What are you talking about?" Jareth motioned for Kane to look out the window.
Kane rushed over to the window. Ella took this as her chance to get behind Jareth for safety. What Kane saw was his army waving a white flag of surrender and throwing down their weapons. He looked back at Jareth in rage. "How?" Jareth simply shrugged, "You neglected to realize my army is substantially larger than yours. Those are just a few of my men down there. The rest are at your castle in The Shadow Kingdom waiting for orders to lay siege." Kane unsheathed his sword and lunged at Jareth. Jareth unsheathed his sword and pushed Ella out of the way so she didn't get hurt.
"You bastard, it's your fault. Everything is your fault. I hate you." Kane yelled in anger as he and Jareth dueled. "How is anything my fault, Kane? I was just a child when you were born. I had no control of what our father did to you and your mother."
Jareth tried to reason with him, but it was no use. "It's unfair, my mother and I were cast out like we meant nothing, while you received praise and affection." Jareth suddenly knocked Kane's sword from his hand and held his blade to his throat. Kane fell to his knees, out of breath. Jareth breathlessly asked, "Do you yield?" Kane knew Jareth was stronger than him, but he also had something up his sleeve.
Jareth was about to repeat his question when Kane snapped his fingers, suddenly Raymond appeared behind Jareth. Kane grinned in satisfaction as Raymond hit Jareth in the back of the head with the hilt of his sword as hard as he could. Ella screamed and ran to his side. Raymond backed away slowly hating himself for betraying his best friend. "I'm so sorry, old friend." Ella glared at him angrily. "Why? Why would you betray Jareth?" She spat out in rage. Raymond only lowered his head.
"Simple, Ella my love. I threatened his family. Amazing how someone would betray their king and best friend, in order to spare their wife and child from being placed upon a Judas Cradle. Right, Sir Raymond?" Kane smirked at Raymond sadistically. Ella looked at Kane in horror. "You're a monster!" Kane slowly shook his head. "Tisk, tisk, tisk. Such a cruel way to speak to your future husband, my sweet. I'd be careful if I were you. You don't want to make me have to punish you. Though I think I would enjoy seeing you beg for mercy after I leave welts upon that luscious hide of yours."
Kane sauntered over to Ella and snatched her wrist, pulling her to his chest. "Sir Raymond, if you would be so kind to take this prisoner to the dungeon. I'd like to have some alone time with my new bride." Raymond bowed and walked over to the unconscious Jareth and transported them out of the room.
Kane looked down at Ella, she was trembling in fear. "Now, are you ready to begin where we left off?" Ella stiffened in anger. Then she looked at Kane, "I will never succumb to you, you may do what you wish to my body, but I swear on my life I will not break." Kane smiled cruelly, "Wrong answer, my love." He dragged her to the bed and threw her down forcefully. Ella yelped in pain.
Kane pinned her to the bed with all his strength. "First I will take you, then we shall test out your bold but foolish statement…." Ella tried to struggle from his tight grip around her thighs as he leaned down to whisper in her ear, "We shall see how long you will last until I break that adorable spirit, Ella mine."
