So...this is a short chapter...
Gilraen glared at me from across the campfire. I had to tie her to a tree in order for her to stay. She didn't say anything about coming home with me. Thinking about it, it did seem a bit suspicious. However, if I wanted to take advantage of her, I would have done it by now. Despite this, I was taking this precaution by tying her up. So yes, I had to tie her to a tree. Or else she would try to steal my horses and with that look, she was giving me, makes me think that she would revert to murder.
We stared at each other for a long time.
Gilraen with that killer glare that was cutting through my soul like the eyes of an ancient dragon.
And me with a somewhat worried look.
Maybe this girl ran away from her home because she killed someone.
