Little Maria was sitting at a table in the food court drinking a soda her mother had said she needed to get something from a Store on the other floor she just looked around to see people just shopping and enjoying life she then see's a man with his daughter but the man had crutches to help him walk and notice a hospital band on his wrist this brought back memories for the daughter Of Ronnie Anne and Lincoln
A Few months Earlier
Maria and her brother where being escorted by there mother with her aunts and grandparents as they walk down the hall Ronnie Anne points at one of the rooms " He's in here" She said to everyone everyone turned to a room the name of the patient in the room was on the door it said 'Lincoln Loud' " Okay everyone let's go in there and remember he might be a sleep " Rita told everyone who nodded.
Ronnie Anne opens the door as the door opened they could hear Lincoln talking to someone. As the door opened they saw the Captain talking to Lincoln. The police Captain looked to see Lincoln's family he placed his cap back on his head " Like I said take a month or Two off and then come back" the Captain said to Lincoln.
" Ma'am " the Captain said as exited the room. Ronnie Anne and was the first to walk in with the kids Maria was the first to walk towards he father " Daddy" Maria said to her dad " Hey Baby girl how did you get here?" Lincoln asked with a playful smile. Maria hugged her Father causing him to smile his son did the same Lincoln brought Both of his kids.
Little maria snuggles against her father's side just happy to be by his side.
" Maria" Ronnie Anne said causing her daughter to snap out of her thoughts " Yes Mom?" she asked her mother " Are you okay sweetie you seem to a little out of it" Ronnie Anne said to her daughter " I'm okay mom just thinking about the time when we went to see dad at the hospital" Maria said to her mother.
Ronnie Anne placed her hand on her daughters shoulder " I know honey I didn't like seeing in that hospital bed either " Ronnie Said to her daughter " How come daddy won't find a safer job I don't like it when he leaves in his officers uniform" The second child of Lincoln and Ronnie Anne said. Ronnie Anne placed her hand on her daughters shoulder " I know sweetie I hate it when your dad leaves to go on patrol but he does it to keep me you and your brother safe" Ronnie said to Maria.
The Daughter of the officer and the nurse looked at her mother " Just wait honey I'll have a talk with your dad okay" Ronnie said to her daughter " Okay" Maria said to her mother.
Lincoln was riding in the passenger side of his patrol car as his partner Anthony " so what are you up tonight after were done with are shift?" Lincoln asked his partner " Oh i'm gonna head back to my pad and get ready cause I'm having girl come over for dinner" Anthony said with a smile " Really who?' Lincoln asked him " That girl who lives the apartment next to me" He told Lincoln.
" The blonde or the red head?" Lincoln asked " The blonde" Anthony said " How did you guys you know connect ?" Lincoln asked " Oh we meet in laundry room of my apartment building we got to talking and then we just got to know each other" Anthony said to Lincoln " Oh that's cool to hear. You know where not far from Clyde's bakery let's head there they make some great pies" Lincoln told him " Well alright then" He said
Ten minutes later they pull up in front of the bakery. As the get out of the squad car and enter the building " Hey Clyde " Lincoln said to his friend who was working behind the counter " Hey Lincoln Hey Anthony " Clyde said as walked towards the two" What Can I do you guys for?" Clyde asked " Well Anthony needs a pie for his dinner date and I need to use the bathroom " Lincoln said
" Down the hall to the right " Clyde said to Lincoln "thanks buddy" Lincoln said as walked towards the bathroom. Clyde turns his attention to Anthony " so what pie do you want to pick for your date?" Clyde asked " Well that's the thing I never had a girl ask me to bring desert for a dinner date so I need something that's not to basic or Fancy " Anthony said to Clyde
" Well I just made this new pie it's strawberry with a hard milk chocolate covering with a light Caramel drizzle " Clyde said " hmm that sounds good alright let me get that one" Anthony said to Clyde "sure thing let me box her up for you" Clyde simple said.
Just then Lincoln had come back from the bathroom " thanks for letting me use the bathroom Clyde of I refilled the paper towels for you" Lincoln told his friend " Thanks buddy I was going to do that after I boxed up this pie " Clyde said to Lincoln.
Officer Loud looked around he see's all the workers except for one " Hey Clyde where's Chloe?" Lincoln asked the his friend " Oh she's seeing her mom right giving her some good news" Clyde said with a smile
" Really Like what?" Anthony asked him. Clyde Looked at Anthony and Lincoln " She's pregnant" Clyde said to the two both Lincoln and Anthony smiled at the small bit of news the Clyde had given them.
Lincoln walks behind the counter and hugs his friend " Aw Man I'm so happy for you bro" Lincoln said as happiness filled his voice " Thanks Lincoln I'm happy that I could tell you the news" Clyde with the biggest smile on his face.
Later at the house
Leo and Maria where watching TV the dad was getting off work in a few minutes and there mom was upstairs doing something but she told them to tell Lincoln to meet her in there bedroom. But Leo had brought home something special
" So what are we watching?" Maria asked her brother " Uh what ever catches are eye" Leo said to his sister. Just then they heard the sound of a car pulling up and the door closing the front door lock turning. " I'm home" Lincoln said as he placed his house keys on the rack next to the door " Hey kids " Lincoln said to his son and daughter and then
" Hey Dog" Lincoln said just as he was about to walk into the kitchen " Wait a minute " Lincoln said as he went back to the couch and saw a white and brown Bulldog sitting between his kids " Okay can you two tell me why there is a bulldog on the couch ?" Lincoln asked with his arms crossed " I found on my way back from the lake today please dad can we keep him ?" Leo asked " Yeah dad please he some pretty" Maria said.
The bulldog just looked at Lincoln with a look that bulldogs usually give people the bored sad expression " He looks like your Aunt Lynn when her favorite football team losses there first game" Lincoln said to his kids then let's out a sigh " Looks taking care of a dog isn't easy it takes a lot of responsibility and then you guys would forget to feed him and then me and your mom end up taking care of him " Lincoln said to his children
The kids getting desperate use the one card that there Aunt Lilly taught them the puppy dog eyes " PPPPLLLLLEEEEEEAAAAASSSSSEEEEEE" the two kids said with big puppy eyes
" Alright Fine " Lincoln said knowing that there knowing that there was use fighting the puppy eyes " I'm gonna talk to Lilly about teaching them puppy eyes" Lincoln said as he walked into the kitchen " Oh dad Mom wants you up stairs she said she has something to show you" Maria said to her father " Alright let me go see what your mother needs" Lincoln said as he made his way up stairs.
Lincoln made his way towards the master bedroom he turns the door and see's Ronnie Anne sitting in a chair wearing a bathroom robe " Hey Honey the kids said you wanted to talk to me?" Lincoln asked her " Yeah but first" Ronnie Anne Said as she put her book down and stood and began to remove her bathrobe tor reveal a black latex suit.
the officer loud stood there in awe at his wife the latex that covered her breast and the shine from the lights made him a little excited " Well I guess the talk can wait "Lincoln said as he closed and locked the door behind him.
The following Morning Lincoln opens his eyes and see's his clothes and and his wife's latex suit scattered on the floor he turns his head and see's his wife started to wake up as well with her eyes fluttering open Lincoln kissed her on the forehead causing a little chuckle from her " Well this is a good morning wake " She said as she climbed on top of Lincoln.
the Loud husband smiled as he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her she laughed a little " Okay what's with you last night you seemed passionate and happy?" Ronnie Anne asked with a curious smile " Chloe's pregnant Clyde told me yesterday" Lincoln said to her " Oh My god that's amazing" Ronnie Anne said feeling happy for Clyde and Chloe.
" yeah it is and it got me thinking " Lincoln said to her " About what having another kid?" she asked him " Well yeah because the kids aren't that little anymore and I just miss the little giggle and laughs and I don't know I just miss holding them in my arms" Lincoln said to her " Well after what happened last night that might not be out of the question" she said with a smile .
" god I love you" Lincoln said to her and then an Idea pops in his head " Hey since the two of us don't work today how about we take the kids to the outlet malls you know make a day of it" Lincoln said to his wife " Really?" she asked him " Yeah besides we haven't really done anything as a family since i got shot" Lincoln told her.
Ronnie Anne thought about it and he was right they haven't done anything since he was shot and figured " You know what you right let's head to the outlet malls and have a day with the kids " she said with a smile " alright then" he replied " KIDS GET WHERE GOING TO THE OUTLET MALLS!" Lincoln shouted " YEAH!" the kids shouted.
The couple smiled a little hearing the happiness in there voice as the where about to have a family day together
