Chapter 5

The next morning Liv and Alex went over all of the expectations for Amanda. She had a very clear understanding of what was expected. They both took the day off to take her to school and have a conference with the counselor. Liv was on her phone the entire way to the school. "Liv, do you need to be at work?" Liv shook her head and smiled, she had a surprise for her wife. "No, I'm just checking email."

Once they got to school they signed Amanda in, "Have a good day, Lucy will pick you up. If you have a good day, she mentioned ice cream in the park with Noah. They promised to wait just for you, but if not you come straight to us." Amanda kissed them, "Bye."

They waited for the counselor. "Good morning Mrs. Greylek, thank you for seeing us." Mrs. Greylek explained how smart Amanda was, but just never made a great adjustment to the private school. "I shouldn't say this, but I recommend her going back. She's different, with you then her parents, I think she needs her friends." Liv and Alex agreed, "She's going back, plus it will be closer to our home. She's worried all the time, about us, our jobs. So if you could let the teachers know. Sometimes it may just be a phone call to us. We will do what we can."

They left the school and Liv grabbed the keys, "I'm driving, sit back and relax. Liv had the perfect day and night planned. They loved Amanda but the sleeping in between them was a lot. She pulled up at the Equinox Hotel. "Liv, what are you doing?" Liv smiled, "Taking a day off with you, but we are on a schedule. Lucy is dropping off a blonde around 5:00 and she sleeps in between us." They checked in and went to the room, "How much did this cost?" Liv kissed, "None of your damn business, don't ruin my day. Let's go, we have a spa appointment."

They relaxed and enjoyed the quiet time together. Then they returned to the room to have lunch together. Alex looked at her wife, "How do you know how to make me happy after all these years?" Liv smiled, "I try, what can I say. Hey we lost someone just like Amanda. We are grieving too. Everything was thrown on us. I wouldn't trade it for anything, but we've had it rough too." Liv pushed the cart outside. Alex was looking at the view. Liv walked up behind her and wrapped her arms around her thin frame. She kissed her neck. "Liv, you better not leave a mark." They laughed and started peeling off clothes until they got to the bed.

Liv and Alex had two different bodies. They were both tall, but Alex was thinner and Liv was built. They both loved how their bodies fit together. Liv took a piece of ice in her mouth and moved it down Alex's body. She sucked on her nipples until they were both erect and when she left the ice cube melting in her belly button, Alex's flat stomach began moving quickly up and down. "Liv that's cold!" Liv moved to her front. She licked and sucked until Alex came screaming her name, "Oh my gosh Liv!" Liv smiled, "Already!"

Alex was tired of her being in charge and flipped her, "It's nice to know I can still flip the Sergeant, soon to be Lieutenant." Alex gave her a wink. She kissed her, pushing her tongue into Liv's mouth and at the same time moved her hand pushing it through her slit. Alex moved her fingers through her wet folds while hovering over her face looking her right in the eyes. "Shit Alex!"

Alex inserted one finger and then two. That's when Liv dropped her head in her neck, "Oh gosh! That feels...amazing." Alex pushed faster, then harder, "Hold on for the ride." Alex thrusted her fingers until Liv screamed, "Alex!" They slept and held each other, something they hadn't been able to do. Around 3:00 they got in the huge shower and ending up fucking each other until the were on the shower floor. They laid there letting the water hit their bodies.

When they got out, Alex called the front desk for clean bedding. Liv had the text she wanted to see, "Great day at school. See you soon." It came with a picture of Noah and Amanda eating ice cream. They dried off, changed into bathing suits and robes. They sat in the front room while the sheets were changed and the bathroom was cleaned. Then they heard a knock. "Hey! Surprise!" Noah jumped into Alex's arms, "Mamamama." Amanda hugged Liv tight, "I missed you." Liv winked, "We missed you too, but go change so we can hit the pool."

Liv explained they were going to swim and eat dinner as a family. The pool was a hit, Noah loved the water and Amanda was a fish. They got out and dried off. "Ok Amanda, you hit the shower, while Lucy gives Noah a bath. We will order room service." They called and ordered, a teriyaki rice bowl with chicken for Liv. Alex wanted the penne alfredo with a side of vegetables, "Noah can eat with me." Amanda wanted chicken fingers with fries. She wasn't big on sharing, but said she would give him some fries. Lucy wanted a turkey club sandwich with chicken noodle soup.

Noah would enjoy eating off of everyone's plates. She also ordered a piece of cake for the adults to split, cookies and milk for Amanda, and a yogurt with chocolate sprinkles for Noah. Once they got out, Lucy showered, then Liv and Alex. "Mama and mommy! The foods here." Liv and Alex looked at each other, "Was that Amanda?" Alex looked at Liv, "Don't make a big deal about." They noticed the slips, since Noah started saying, "Mama." Amanda had been on full alert, she had slipped a couple of times, but caught herself. They didn't care, they only wanted her comfortable.

"Ok ok! We're here." They were in a suite so they had a whole dining room. They sat down and ate as a family. Noah was a good eater and a big boy. He was at the top of all the scales. Everyone was stuffed and tired. Liv was holding a sleeping Noah. "I hope he stays asleep for me. I'm glad he's wearing his pjs." Amanda looked sad as she got up to follow Lucy. They didn't tell her she was staying. They wanted to see how she was going to act.

They thought maybe they were getting somewhere, when she didn't throw a fit. "Hey, don't look so sad, you're staying with us." They saw those blue eyes light up, she was a charmer. They climbed in bed and held her, "Amanda, you do need to know, sometimes we will go places and spend the night without you." Amanda shook her head, "But when we do, we want you to help Lucy take care of Noah and be our big girl."

Amanda understood she needed to grow up some. "Can I talk to you about something?" Alex and Liv both held her, "We always want you to talk to us. Amanda it's not good to hold things in." Amanda looked at them, "I don't want to call you Aunt anymore. She turned to Liv, "I want you to be mama. Then she turned to Alex, "And you mommy. My mom said you were our second mom." They both smiled and kissed her cheek, "We would love it!" Alex told her to lay back and get some rest, "School tomorrow."

They all slept well and woke up feeling refreshed. They ate room service breakfast. "Ok Amanda, this has been a surprise treat. We expect your behavior to match what we did." Liv and Alex went to work after dropping her off at school. Amanda's behavior was wonderful and as promised they planned a weekend sleepover with her friends.

They learned they needed to work on their parenting skills, when they found out her friendship group was made of 1 girl and 2 boys. That got into an argument about it. "Liv, why wouldn't you ask her first? You're smarter than that." Liv raised her eyebrows, "Really Alex, thanks. You didn't ask either. That wasn't nice." They didn't speak at all during dinner and Amanda felt like something was wrong. "Mama, did I do something bad?" Liv knew she was sensitive, "No baby. I should have asked you about your friends. Sleepovers with teenage boys and girls usually don't mix. But don't worry, your mama is a smart mama and I'll call everyone on the list." She rolled her eyes at Alex.

After dinner Liv sat in the front room and called the parents. She looked at the list and started with Kat's mom, "Hi Ms. Tamin. I'm Olivia Benson." Ms. Tamin cut her off, "Hey! Kat has been worrying me about getting together with Amanda. I'm so sorry about the loss." Liv smiled, "Yes same here, I promised her a get together and sleepover, I didn't think to ask who, but she has two boys on her list. I promise my wife and I will stay in the same room and keep them split up." Ms. Tamin laughed loudly, "Honey y'all are fine! They've been friends since 2nd grade. None of us will have a problem." Liv told her they would pick up Kat around 9:00 Saturday morning to do brunch. "We will return her Sunday evening already fed." Ms. Tamin continued, "Anytime baby!"

Alex listened and she felt bad about what she said. Liv handled it all in stride, when all Alex did was worry and get uptight. "Liv, I'm sorry. You handled that like a pro. I guess I need to learn to think before I speak." Alex kissed her on the lips and Liv rolled her eyes. "I still love you." Liv called Peter's dad next. He was a doctor and also had no problems with the agreement. "Sure, they stayed together before. I'm working at the hospital anyway." Liv gave him the same information.

She looked at Alex, "Last call Dominick." Liv dialed, "Hi is this Teresa Morino?" She had a sweet voice, "Yes this is she." Liv smiled, "I'm Amanda's aunt and I'm calling to ask if Dominick can spend Saturday with us and I'll bring him back Sunday evening." She explained the same situation like she did with all the parents." She smiled knowing who Amanda was, "Sure. I actually live in your building, but Dominick doesn't. I'm his sister, he's the baby of the family, big age gap. He also loves Amanda, so make sure you really watch them." She giggled.

Liv smiled, "I've heard about Dominick. I'm sorry this is the number Amanda gave me. Do I need to call your mom or dad?" She simply said, "No. I will get him Friday night and you can get him from me. I wish he would come and live with me, my parents aren't the best. I'm trying to let him make the decision, but sometimes I don't give him one. He's a sweet kid, but we all have a rough background." Liv listened, "Ok, well he's welcome anytime." They had a plan and Amanda was so excited.

On Saturday morning Amanda was the first one up and dressed. Amanda jumped on the bed, "Y'all are usually awake! Get up!" Liv looked at the clock, "Baby it's 6 AM. We've got time." Amanda was pouting and Alex turned over, "Ok, start my Keurig and I'm getting up." Once Liv was done she woke Alex to take a shower.

By 8:00 the whole house was up. Lucy said she would take Noah to the park after brunch. They heard a knock and Amanda went running, "Hi Dominick!" Dominick smiled, "Hey Amanda!" Lucy leaned over, "Y'all two are in trouble! I would skip school for him too." Alex invited everyone in and they talked. Mrs. Morino tried to give them money, but Alex stopped her. "Oh no, if you want him to have it fine, but we've got him covered. We even plan to do some shopping." She smiled, "Thanks, that's so sweet, please call me Teresa. On Sunday send him on down. Bye Dominick and be good."

Amanda was completely different with him. She talked and laughed a lot, she even seemed more mature. "Liv, we might really be in trouble." They headed to pick up Peter, since his dad was at work. Then Kat was the last one. They all lived pretty close, no wonder they were friends. If someone was used to the city, it was an easy walk. Kat was just like her mom, funny and outspoken.

They headed to brunch. Alex and Liv had a good time getting to know them. They were all a really good group. After seeing them eat brunch, Alex gave Lucy a list, "After the park, grab some more snacks, juice, milk, and eggs for breakfast. Lucy smiled, "Sure thing!"

They went shopping next. The kids couldn't believe what they heard. Liv and Alex gave them all 100 dollars to shop. They learned Amanda was the spoiled brat of the group. Her total was 138 dollars. Liv fussed, "Put something back." Amanda pouted and put back the hoodie, but Liv watched Dominick pick it up and buy it for her. She realized they were in trouble.

Alex found the perfect place for dinner and a movie. It was a new theater. They had big comfy reclining seats with table tops. You arrived an hour before the movie started, ordered your food and drinks. While the movie played you ate. The waitresses also would come to the aisle and refill your drinks and offer popcorn. The kids were all smiles and said, "That was the best time ever. Thank you!"

They headed back home. Noah ran, "Mama mama! Manny!" Amanda picked him up and passed him around. He loved all the kids. Alex said, "Kat and Amanda head to our bedroom and bathroom to shower and change." She sent Peter to Amanda's bathroom and Dominick to Noah's bathroom. They set up 4 air beds and they covered them with sheets and blankets. They asked Lucy, "Can you look in Noah's closet. He has extra sheets and blankets. Alex and I will sleep on the sofas." Liv rocked sleepy Noah. He was fighting it and crying, because he was scared he would miss the fun.

Lucy went into Noah's room, but knocked knowing Dominick was in his bathroom. "Come in!" She smiled, "Hey, I just need to grab sheets and blankets." He peeked out and didn't have his shirt on, "No problem I'm done." When he turned around Lucy saw his back. She wasn't sure, but it looked like a few bruises. She watched him put on his shirt without any problems and thought he must be fine. She grabbed the stuff and didn't think about it again.

They watched Netflix, they joked on each other, and laughed. Peter said, "You know you are so cool, we can let you join our group." Alex laughed, "Thanks! Well you all are welcome here anytime." Kat turned and rolled next to Amanda, "Even after school?" Liv shrugged, "I tell you what, if you all stop skipping school and clear it with Lucy sure. You can come after school and hangout." Alex chimed in, "Lucy must be here and you have to do your homework." Peter smiled, "Deal! Plus we don't skip all the time, only when..." Amanda smacked on the shoulder, "Owwwww!" Liv scolded her, "Amanda Rollins!" Alex wondered what he was about to say, but let it go.

They all went to sleep around 1 AM. Liv and Alex were exhausted, "Finally we can sleep now." Alex looked at her, "You're the light sleeper, so don't let anything happen." The next morning, Lucy kept Noah quiet as long as she could, but he woke up around 9. "Mama mama." Lucy started breakfast, while Liv and Alex brushed their teeth. The kids never woke up, they were knocked out cold.

The adults had a whole table full, and woke up the kids, "Everyone brush your teeth! Breakfast time." They had waffles, eggs, hash browns, bacon, toast, fruit, and cereal. "Dig in guys!" Noah sat in his chair competing with the big boys. He loved Dominick and Peter. Liv started to think, he missed a male figure.

The kids folded the blankets, washed the sheets and folded them, deflated their air beds, and put all the furniture back while Alex and Liv took a shower. Alex was impressed, "Wow and you clean up?" Lucy was playing with Noah, "Yeah and they do dishes. I told them I'm usually home making dinner and waiting on Amanda, so they can come over." All the kids went to get dressed.

They spent the afternoon together. They were a good group. Lucy made tacos for dinner. Then they all walked Dominick to his sister's place and when they came back, Alex and Liv took everyone else home as promised. They did get to meet Peter's dad, he was nice as well. Before bed Amanda knocked on their door and climbed in between them. "Mama, mommy! Thank you!" She hugged them both. "I'm going to sleep in my bed tonight."

Liv turned her to look at her, "Hey. Where's this coming from?" Amanda looked down, "I was talking to Kat and I think it's time." Alex tapped her shoulder, "Look at me. You don't have to do what your friends say." Amanda shook her head, "I know. She didn't tell me to. I told her why I slept with you and I told her I wanted to try because I think it's time. I know you need your privacy too. She said I should try it and find out. So I want to." Liv smiled, "I tell you what. You try and for the next week, we will leave our door open. If you change your mind, you can come back." Amanda smiled, "Ok!" She kissed them both, "I love you."
