The next day I'm wrapped up in a blanket and Edward's arms as I read a book. Carlisle lit the fire for me and now the whole family is lounging in the livingroom. Suddenly Jasper's head snaps up and then the others.

"Char and Peter is here." He states and I look confused at him so he smiles gently. "My family." He explains and I nod a little, turning back to the book. After another few minutes, Jasper opens the door and Edward growls quietly.

"Be nice, Edward." I growl back and I hear some laughter from the door.

"I like the human, Major. She got her vampire on a leash." A man with a lot of southern in his voice. I grin at him as he looks over Jasper's shoulder at me. He is blond as well, a little shorter than Jasper and bright red eyes. A smaller vampire looks around her mate to get a look at me, then she smiles gently when she meets my eyes. I can practically hear Jasper roll his eyes in response to the man, then he steps aside to let them in. I pat Edward's arms and he lets me go grumpily, but instantly follows me as I move to stand. I roll my eyes at him and walk over to where Jasper and his family stand. Peter and Char look fascinated at me as I offer my hand. Peter then grins and takes my hand gently, bringing it to his lips and kissing my knuckles gently.

"Nice to meet ya', darlin'." He drawls and I chuckle as Edward growls possessively, wrapping an arm around my waist.

"Nice to meet you too." I greet and he smirks as Edward pulls me back a step, then he looks down at me again and brings his mate forward.

"This is my mate Char." He introduces and I smile, shaking her hand.

"I'm Bella, but I guess you already know that." I state and they both chuckle, nodding. "Well then, excuse me the human needs to go hunting." I say as I grab Edward's hand and bring him with me to the kitchen, but not before I have seen Peter's wide grin.

"My mate." Edward purrs as he buries his nose in my hair as soon as we are in the kitchen.

"Yes, I'm yours. Let's find me something to eat." I say and he purrs louder at my agreement, following me obedient to the fridge. I grab the thing sI need to make an omelette, Esme has apparently put everything I bought at the supermarket in here. Edward follows my every step, his arms wrapped from behind around my waist, cradling my baby bump gently.

"Bella?" Carlisle asks as he steps into the kitchen, I hum. "The others went hunting except for Jasper, Charlotte and Peter. We are going to go out trying to find any scent trails, will you be okay here with Edward alone?" He asks and I nod.

"It will be fine, he just doesn't like sharing me I think." I shrug and he smiles gently, nodding.

"Well, if there's anything you want call my cellphone. We should be back in about an hour." He says and when I nod he walks out. After a few minutes Edward relaxes completely and sighs contently.

"We are alone." He whispers and I nod.

"Less instinctive now?" I ask and he nods.

"Yes, I'm sorry I just don't like others being around you." He says and I chuckle as I bring my omelette to the table.

"It's okay but I would like to talk about how we're going to do after the birth." I begin and he nods seriously as he sits down beside me at the table.

"I was thinking that maybe you and I could move into the small cottage at the back of the land we own here? It's close enough to the family but it's private, too far for the others to hear unless we yell for them." He suggests and I look shocked at him, then I nod.

"That is actually perfect." I agree and he smiles relieved. "Then I'll sell my apartment so it won't be a problem anymore and the others can help with babysitting if needed." I continue and he nods.
