AN: Hello! I'm SO sorry it has taken so long, but I have come to realize my mind act very strange. It bursts out of different stories that I need to let out. Not to mention serious writer's block. I owe thanks to Autocon217 from DA, who motivated me to continue. I see if I could continue RID also, but now it's getting late, so enjoy this for now.

Let's Roll Out!

After a few days, Steeljaw had stayed in the Academy, mostly to recover. During that time Elena was with him all the time. Like chief suggested he stays first on Academy as a recruit and if he behaves, he may even get to go Griffin Rock. Surprisingly Steeljaw has acted well. While staying in the Academy, Heatwave showed some places. Well, not the important ones such as the groundbridge or surveillance center. But Steeljaw didn't seem to mind that. Soon they showed him the workshop and lab he was already doing calculations and tinkering something small. At first, they were worried about what he would make but turns out he made useful stuff. Like mp3 players, stereo systems, and other electronic devices for starters. Kane actually picked one of the mp3 players, when he visited and went back to Griffin Rock. As for other classes he has acted as a normal student, actually better compared to Blurr's first times.

"So, this is your new training simulator?" Steeljaw asked, meaning a huge white room with a huge circle on the floor, a huge screen, and a control panel.

"Yes, since we had to explode the ground bridge, it took most of the damage," Heatwave told.

"And you had to do it, because…"

"So the virus, which was created by an evil scientist, won't get away and infect more machines to its use," Elena said while it comes with one disk, which she gives to Heatwave.

"The test sims are ready." Heatwave informs.

"Good. Set one."

"You want to try?" Steeljaw asks.

"Someone has to," Elena answered.

Heatwave set the first simulation, which is in the forest. By now it looks like animal rescue.

"Why I'm not surprised." Heatwave mumbles.

"What do you mean?" Steeljaw asked.

"She likes nature. But no wonder. According to what we learned she was picked first by the Predacon element of plants. Right in the Griffin Rock." Heatwave explained.

Steeljaw watched as Elena

"That explains a lot…"

"Excuse me?"

"Well… I… many cycles later after she cut her connections with the council, I saw her once with the statues of Primes."

"So, you met her before," Heatwave asked.

"Agh! Just forget it…" Steeljaw growled and planned to leave.

"No, it's okay," Cody said as he entered the room. "It might explain why you remember her."

Steeljaw sighs for defeat. Besides Elena, he has got used to talking to this small human. From what she told, Cody was the one who showed Rescue bots about human society and how things go on Earth. Plus, when he has visited he has explained many things to him.

"As I said, it happened many cycles after she cut her connection to the High council…" Steeljaw started.

*Flashback*

In Cybertron...

Steeljaw was driving in the area. So far, he witnessed another arrest. One bot was taken, just because he didn't have enough shanix to pay for driving "too fast". This was the third time in this cyber-week. And so far, there were many rumors on why Star Supreme left the High Council. Some say she got tired of it, some said her depression got worse. And some, which sound more reasonable, she couldn't take it how they treated her. Sounds reasonable, but it's still a rumor. Besides, she hasn't seen her since, then.

Then he heard something. He stopped and transformed to find himself close to Kaon Plaza, where the Prime statues are. The area was quiet with no one else around. He was about to leave until he heard something again. Then he saw something glowing. He zoomed his optics to recognize Star Supreme herself. Back then she was in her small Star form. But even so, he could recognize her.

She looked up sadly, before beginning to sing.

"The earth is cold
It's hard and bare
And all I see is hard metal everywhere

Now all my friends
Are far away
While some are there
And some are here now working every day"

She floats up to the railing of the bridge while looking up.

"They do what they must for now
And trust in their plan
If I trust in mine, somehow I might find who I am"

Steeljaw moved close to see as she looked at the statues.

"But where do I go from here?
So many voices ringing in my ear
Which is the voice that I was meant to hear?
How will I know?
Where do I go from here?"

Then she summoned a bit of water to shape it and freeze it into some sort of flower before she floated up to one statue, Optimus Prime.

"My world has changed
and so have I
I've learned to choose
And even learned to say goodbye"

She leaves the frozen flower on his shoulder before resting her small forehead on his before floats down.

"The path ahead's so hard to see
It winds and bends but where it ends
Depends on only me"

She lands on the railing, before looks at the city around her, without noticing Steeljaw who hid at the end of the bridge.

"In my heart, I don't feel part of so much I've known
Now it seems it's time to start,
A new life on my own"

From his hideout, he manages to see the sadness in her optics. the way she holds her hands close to her spark chamber tells she is in deep emotional pain.

"But where do I go from here?
So many voices ringing in my ear
Which is the voice that I was meant to hear?
How will I know?
Where do I go from here?"

Then, she leaves the place. Steeljaw comes out from his hide.

*End of Flashback*

"... after that, as things got more strict, I always kept in mind that sad look in her optics." Steeljaw finished.

"Are you saying that's when you got interested in her?" Heatwave asked.

"Well, I knew it was impossible to be… "interested" in her like that, but… "Steeljaw said before groans a bit while holding his head. "...I think I... I did when she... got that new look."

"But she got that when she was here on Earth." Cody wonders. "How come you remember that?"

"Because I was held in a ship most of the time?" Heard a familiar female voice. Elena had already finished the testing sim and stood behind others. "Testing sim works well, Heatwave. Now we need to program more," she said as she left the room.

Later that night, Elena was looking up to the sky. She heard heavy footsteps getting close to her, they stopped. Knowing, who it is, she spoke first.

"Ever since I learned about Cybertron, I sometimes came to look at the stars wondering where it could be."

"You know it's way far to be noticed," Steeljaw answered.

"Yeah. That's what Ratchet said." Elena said before Steeljaw sits down near here.

"Are you upset about me?" he asked.

"You? No! To be honest, what happened back then, I was upset with myself. And High Council of course." Elena told. "I was so depressed that I didn't realize what was going around me."

Steeljaw remained quiet. He had a suspicion about something like that. He just never get a chance to prove it, since rebellion failed.

"How much you remember about me?" Elena asked.

"I'm not sure," he answered. "There are mostly moments when you seemed to be angry with me. but then, there are few where you smile."

"I assumed you were like others. I'm sorry." Elena admits.

"What changed your mind?"

Elena sighs thinking back then, what happened. "You acted differently than I expected." she started. "While others wanted payback for prisoning them or they wanted to get their hands on me, you protected me."

In this Steeljaw nuzzled on her head. "I would have done it either way."

"So, when did fell you felling in love with me?" Elena asked.

Steeljaw looked surprised at what she asked, but by he could remember, he smiled and nuzzled more on her.

"When I saw you smile for the first time."
