The alarm clock went off and Lyni sat up. Smiling at the memory of Wolffe, STOP. He would never care for someone as plain as her, and with such a backwards style. Everything she wore was more for convenience and comfort with her crippled legs than for anything else. Of course he would feel pity for her, that was all it was.

Gripping the loose cloth of her sweatpants she pulled her useless legs one after the other over the edge of her bed. Savage had placed her wheelchair right where she could get it with a bit of help from the bars on the wall Feral had bolted into place. Lifting herself into the chair she wheeled out of the door and down the hall to the kitchen.

Pulling the skillet out of the cabinet next to the oven she placed it on the top left front stove top section and turned on the heat under it. Wheeling over to the fridge (or two steps for her brothers) she got out the eggs, sausage, and bacon before grabbing the pancake batter and put them out on the counter in easy reach. As Lyni fried up breakfast she could hear her brothers stirring and Savage was the first one to come downstairs, casing her to smile when he kissed her on the top of the head.

Feral came down next and started to set the table where Savage was sitting reading the paper. 'El kissed her cheek in greeting before grabbing the syrup. It had been a part of their morning every day of her life, even before the wheelchair.

Everything was on the table by the time Maul slouched into the room, patted Lynis shoulder, and then addressed breakfast. All of them ate without talking. There was no need to talk most of the time, and none of them were talkative when there was food in front of them.

This was one of the moments of peace that they had been allowed when trapped in the Nightsister Cult. Now they enjoy it even more. Too soon they were going in different directions for what they needed to do that day.
