Zion's horse wearily moved along the narrow forest path while Zion silently berated himself for his naivety, of course he should have spent the day at Filowa town but no he decided to press on into the night. The young Hylians ears perked up as he heard a small rustling coming from the nearby treeline, stopping his horse and slowly pulling out a long scimitar he narrowed his eyes trying desperately to see through the thick veil of darkness on either side of the road, the loud twang of a bow pierced the haunting silence as the socialist turned diplomat was knocked of his white horse with an arrow stuck in his collarbone. Two more Bokoblins poked their pig-like heads out of the forest both wielding simple clubs, they hesitated, almost like they hadn't expected it to actually work. Moving out of the cover of the trees the two Bokoblins moved towards the downed Hylian. Zion slowly opened his eyes, he knew he was hit but decided to stay still, after all they would have to leave cover to finish him off, hearing them near his position he tightened his grip on his scimitar, with a yell of pain he sprung up and swung his curved blade at the two very surprised Bokoblins, they both quickly dropped dead on the ground before disappearing in a cloud of purple smoke, another arrow whizzed bye as the blonde haired diplomat mounted his horse and kicked it into a gallop.
Obediah frowned to himself, he knew that dissenters roved around the streets but he hadn't expected to bust up an entire resistance cell! He'd built a few gallows for the traitors while a crowd of people gathered around the curious structure. They'd never seen anything like it before and had no idea what it could be used for. Maybe it was a podium for proclamations? Even when nooses were strapped to the wood beam at the top of the structure and people in rags were marched up to the podium by a small group of militia men. "These ex-nobles were plotting the downfall of the Union! The crime of treason carries only one penalty, death!" Proclaimed the patriotic captain. In a matter of minutes five lifeless bodies dangled limply from the execution platform.
