Welcome Back Readers! This is the Chapter 5 of Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V! Territory of the Shark! This chapter is about Shark vs Reiji!
Disclaimer: I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V! I only have my OC and the plot. Some card effect's are different from TCG or OCG effect.
"Duelist locked in battle!" Yuya and Yuzu started chanting.
"Kicking the earth and dancing in the air with their monsters!" Gongenzaka and Sora joined in.
"They storm thought the field!" Three kids joined in.
"Behold! The newest and greatest evolution of Dueling!" LDS trio also joined in.
"Action.."

"You can take the first turn." Shark offered.
"Might I ask you why you give the opportunity ?" Reiji asked in confusion.
"I want to see your Deck power. That's all." Shark answered.
"Very well.. My turn." Reiji said as he draw his cards.
"I activated a Continuous Spell, Dark Contract with the Hellgate. This card inflicts me 1000 damage during each of my standby phase. But in exchange I can add one D/D monster from my deck to my hand. I add D/D Cerberus." Reiji explained as he add D/D Cerberus from his deck.
"What ? The cards to inflict 1000 damage during his standby phase ?" Yuya said in confusion.
"And D/D monster, what kind of monster is that ?" Tatsuya asked.
"But why he playing such a risk card just to add one monster ?" Yuzu asked, completely confused.
"And I activated another Continuous Spell, Contract with the Swamp King. I take 1000 damage during my standby phase but in exchange Once Per Turn during my main phase,I can Fusion Summon one FIEND Fusion Monster with it's material from my field or hand." Reiji explained as everyone shocked.
"He can Fusion Summon ?!" Yuya said in shocked.
"He risk 2000 lifepoints just to Fusion Summon ?!" Yuzu added.
"I Fuse D/D Cerberus and D/D Berfomet. Hellhound which bares it's fangs! Grotesque being of darkness! In a whirlpool of light from the realm of the death! Become one and give birth to a new king! Fusion Summon! Be born! D/D/D Flame King Temujin!"

Shark widened his eyes a bit. 'D/D/D ?'
"So he really can Fusion Summon." Gongenzaka stated.
"And it's time is D/D/D. There are three D's.. What's that means ?" Yuya asked.
"I activated a Spell, D/D/Draw. If I controls a "D/D/D" monster, I can draw two cards." Reiji declared as he draw two more cards.

"Then I Summon the tuner monster, D/D Nighthowl in attack mode." Then D/D Nighthowl appeared on the field.

"Tuner ?!" Sora said in surprise.
"Does that mean.." Yuzu said in surprise as well.
"D/D Nighthowl effect! When D/D Nighthowl is Normal Summoned, I can Special Summon a "D/D" monster from my graveyard but it's effect are negated and it's ATK/DEF become 0. I Special Summon D/D Berfomet." Then D/D Berformet appeared on the field.

"I'm tuning my level 3 D/D Nighthowl and level 4 D/D Berfomet! Howls that tear through the night with the swiftness of a gale give birth to new king! Synchro Summon! Be born! Level 7! D/D/D Gust King Alexander!"

"Synchro too ?!" Gongenzaka said in surprise.
"Temujin effect! When "D/D" monster beside this card is Special Summoned, I can Special Summon one "D/D" monster from my graveyard. I Special Summon D/D Cerberus." Then D/D Cerberus appeared on the field.
D/D Cerberus ( ATK 1800/DEF 600, Fiend/Dark/LV: 4/PS: 6 )
"Alexander effect! When "D/D" monster is summoned, I can Special Summon one "D/D" monster from my graveyard. I Special Summon D/D Berfomet." Then D/D Berfomet appeared on the field once again.

"2 monster level 4.. don't tell me he can.." Yuya said, realized what's coming next.
"I overlay my level 4 D/D Cerberus and D/D Berfomet! In order to subjugate all that resides within this world, descent now onto the peak of the world! Xyz Summon! Be born! Rank 4! D/D/D Wave King Caesar!"

"Xyz too.." Gongenzaka said in amazement.
"Fusion, Synchro, Xyz in one turn.." Yuya added.
"There's no record Akaba Reiji can use all three summoning method." Shuzo said as he checked on his D-Pad. "I hope you ready Shark."
"D/D/D stands for "Different Dimension Demon." I'm giving you small taste from the power of the kings that subjugate alternate planes. I set two cards facedown and end my turn." Reiji declared as he adjusted his glass.

"Shark.." Yu Show crew was worried about Shark. They has a lot of faith in Shark's dueling skills. But, after saw Reiji used all three summoning method making them more worried.
However, to mostly everyone surprise, Shark smirked as he closed his eyes. Reiji looked at Shark in curiously why he smirked.
"Amazing Akaba Reiji. You truly a formidable duelist. This is getting more interesting." Shark said as he started his turn.
'That set cards must be able to stop the effect of his contracts.' Shark though to himself.
"My turn! Draw!" Shark declared as he draw his card.

"I activated a Spell Card, Graceful Charity! I draw three cards from my deck and then discard two cards from my hand." Shark declared as he draw three more cards from his deck and after that he discard White Moray and Friller Rabca from his hand to graveyard.

"I activated a Spell Card, Pot of Greed! I draw two cards from my deck." Shark declared as he draw two more cards.

"I activated a Continuous Spell, Water Hazard! When I control no monster, I can Special Summon level 4 or lower WATER monster from my hand. I Special Summon Lantern Shark!" Then Lantern Shark appeared on the field.
Lantern Shark ( ATK 1500/DEF 900, Fish/Water/LV: 4 )
"Lantern Shark effect! When Lantern Shark is summoned, I can Special Summon level 3 to 5 WATER monster from my hand. I Special Summon Drill Shark!" Then Depth Shark appeared on the field.
Drill Shark ( ATK 1600/DEF 1300, Fish/Water/LV: 4 )
"Drill Shark effect! I can draw one card and if the card I draw is Level 4 or lower WATER monster, I can Special Summon it. I draw!" Shark declared as he draw. He looked at the card he draw before smirked.
"The card I draw is Level 4, Shocktopus. So I can Special Summoned it." Then Shocktopus appeared on the field.
Shocktopus ( ATK 1600/DEF 800, Fish/Water/LV: 4 )
"What a lucky draw you got there." Reiji said casually.
"Luckiness is part of the skills." Shark told him. "I Overlay my level 4 Drill Shark and Shocktopus! Howl! Unknown roar! Rise from the darkness of the abyss! Xyz Summon!Rank 4! Bahamut Shark!"
Bahamut Shark ( ATK 2600/DEF 2100, Sea Serpent/Water/RK: 4/OVU: 2 )
"He can Xyz summon ?!" Hokuto exclaimed in shocked.
"This is it! Shark nii-chan's Xyz monster!" Three kids cheered.
"And it's ATK is higher than Reiji's monsters!" Yuya remarked.
"If my opponent controls two monsters or more, I can normal summon Eagle Shark without tribute." Then Eagle Shark appeared on the field.
Eagle Shark ( ATK 1000/DEF 1800, Fish/Water/LV: 5 )
"Lantern Shark another effect! If Lantern Shark was used to Xyz summon a WATER monster, it can be treated as Level 3 or 5 monster. I Overlay my Level 5 Eagle Shark and Lantern Shark! The champion of the depth sea that thirsty for feeding frenzy! Arise to the surface and show your mighty! Xyz Summon! Rank 5! Valiant Shark Lancer!"
Valiant Shark Lancer ( ATK 2500/DEF 1600, Beast-Warrior/Water/RK: 5/OVU: 2 )
"Bahamut Shark's effect! I detach one overlay unit to Special Summon one Rank 3 WATER Xyz monster from my extra deck and that detach overlay unit becomes that monster overlay unit! But Bahamut Shark can't attack this turn! Divine Soul!" Shark declared as Bahamut Shark released it's overlay unit and that overlay unit go to the galaxy portal.

"What ?!" The trio LDS exclaimed in shocked.
"Be born! The Emperor Dragon of the sea! Rank 3! Leviathan Dragon!"
Leviathan Dragon ( ATK 2000/DEF 0, Dragon/Water/RK: 3/OVU: 1 )
"Now he has three Xyz monsters on his field!" Masumi exclaimed.
"And he summon it all in one turn!" Yaiba added.
"Just who the hell is that guy ?!" Hokuto asked in jealously.
"Go Shark!" The Yu Show gang cheered.
"Show your hot-blooded dueling Shark!" Shuzo exclaimed from the control room.
"I activated a Spell, Deep Sea Battle Rules! I can target one WATER Xyz monster I controls and it can attack two times this turn. I target Valiant Shark Lancer!" Shark declared as Valiant Shark Lancer surrounded by blue aura.
"Valiant Shark Lancer's effect! I detach one overlay unit to destroy one monster your opponent controls. I destroy your King Caesar!" Shark declared as Valiant Shark Lancer throw it's Spear to Caesar as Caesar destroyed. Shark saw Reiji use Caesar overlay unit to activated it's effect. Shark wondered what Caesar effect is.

"Leviathan Dragon's effect! I detach one overlay unit and Leviathan Dragon gains 500 ATK." Then Leviathan Dragon absorb it's overlay unit.

"Battle! Leviathan Dragon attack Alexander! Shock Stream Blast!" Leviathan Dragon unleashed it's attack to Alexander.
"Why would he attack Alexander ? They have same ATK." Hokuto asked in confusion.
"He probably want to do suicide move." Yaiba bluntly said.
Alexander destroyed as Leviathan Dragon still on the field.
"Leviathan Dragon can only be destroyed by battle by Xyz monster." Shark explained as everyone except Yu Show gang and Reiji surprise.
"What ?!" The LDS trio exclaimed in shocked.
"Valiant Shark Lancer attack Temujin!" Shark command as Valiant Shark Lancer pierce Temujin as Temujin destroyed.

"Valiant Shark attack directly!" Shark declared as Valiant Shark Lancer attack Reiji.

"Alright!" The Yu Show gang cheered.
"I can't believe he managed to destroy all Reiji's monsters and deal him massive damage.." Hokuto said in disbelief.
"Action Magic: Damage Draw! If I 2000 or more battle damage, I draw two cards from my deck." Reiji declared as he draw two more cards.

As the smoke clear, much to everyone surprise that Reiji monsters is still there.

D/D/D Wave King Caesar ( ATK 2400/DEF 1200, Fiend/Water/RK: 4/OVU: 2 )
"What ?! They are still there ?!" Yuya exclaimed in shocked.
"But I clearly saw Shark destroying them!" Yuzu added.
"Let me guess.. you activated Caesar effect before I destroy it with Shark Lancer effect. Is that correct ?" Shark asked Reiji.
"You're quite observant." Reiji complimented him with a smile. "Yes. I activated Wave King Caesar effect. By detaching one overlay unit, I can Special Summons all monsters from my graveyard that were destroyed this turn. However, during my next Standby Phase, I take 1000 damage for each revived monster if they are still on the field." Reiji explained as he adjusted his glasses.
"1000 damage for each monsters he revived ? That means he will take 3000 damage!" Tatsuya stated.
"And 2000 damage from his contract.. he will get 5000 damage! That means he will lose on his next turn!" Ayu added.
"Don't get your hopes up. There's no way duelist like him will be taken down by his own cards effect." Sora explained.
"Trap card open, Lease Laundering! All "Contract" cards in my spell and trap zone are destroyed and I draw a card for every "Contract" card that was destroyed by this effect and I get 1000 lifepoints for every card I draw." Reiji draw two cards from his deck as he gained life points.

"See ? He won't take the damage from his own cards." Sora said to the kids.
"Another trap card open, D/D/D Human Ressource! I can return three "D/D/D" Monsters to my deck and add two "D/D" Monsters to my hand." Reiji said as he add two D/D monsters to his hand and his three monsters vanished.

"I set two cards facedown and end my turn." Shark said. "Not bad Akaba Reiji. You got back your lifepoints and got a hand refreshment, Well done."

"I thank you. You're also an worth opponent to be praised. Also you truly a master when it comes to Xyz Summon." Reiji praised him. "However, it's time for you to face a power stronger than Fusion, Synchro and Xyz!" Reiji declared as the spectator flinched.
"What do you mean ?" Shark asked in confusion.
"You'll see. My turn! Draw!" Reiji declared as he draw his card.

"With the scale 1 D/D Savant Galilei and scale 10 D/D Savant Kepler I set the Pendulum Scale!" Reiji said as Galilei and Kepler being surrounded in pillars of light as they rise up as a portal appeared between them.

Shark widened his eyes as everyone except Himika shocked.
"WHAT ?!" Yuya said in disbelief.
"Those are.." Yuzu muttered in shocked.
"Pendulum Cards!" Gongenzaka added.
"Grand power which shakes my very soul! Arise within me and become a new light that rends the darkness! Pendulum Summon! Appear, my monsters!" A four lights burst out from the portal.
"The three transcendental deities who rule all the kings! D/D/D Doom King Armageddon!" The three Doom King Armageddons appeared on the field.

"And Level 8! D/D Savant Thomas!" Then Savant Thomas appeared on the field.

"He summoned four monsters ?! And three with 3000 ATK!" Sora stated as he Stare at Reiji's monster.
Everyone still shocked, especially Yuya. have to seen someone other than him capable to Pendulum Summoning making him down. Shark saw Yuya's feeling down. 'I must motivated him again after this duel.' He though to himself.
"D/D Savant Thomas effect! I can destroy one "D/D" card in my Pendulum Zone and Special Summon one level 8 "D/D/D" Monster from my deck in defense position, but it's effect are negate. I destroy Savant Kepler and Special Summon D/D/D Oblivion King Abyss Ragnarok!" Then Savant Kepler is destroyed and Abyss Ragnarok appeared on the field.

"Now he got 5 monsters!" Yuzu panicked.
"Not for long. Valiant Shark Lancer effect! By detaching one overlay unit, I destroy one of your monster. I destroy one of your Armageddon!" Shark declared as one of Reiji's Armageddon destroyed.
Valiant Shark Lancer ( OVU: 1 - 0 )
"You destroyed one of my Armageddon. I see. However, Armageddon effect! When my monster leave the field, Armageddon gains original attack of that monster until the end of this turn." Reiji explained as Armageddon getting bigger.

"6000 ATK ?!" Yu Show Gang exclaimed in shock.
'Just great..' Shark sarcastically though.
"Now I overlay my level 8 D/D/D Oblivion King Abyss Ragnarok and D/D Savant Thomas! When the two suns rise, the horizon of a new world shall open up! Xyz Summon! Appear! Rank 8! D/D/D Duo-Dawn King Kali Yuga!"
D/D/D Duo-Dawn King Kali Yuga ( ATK 3500/DEF 3000, Fiend/Dark/RK: 8/OVU: 2 )
"No way! From Pendulum to Xyz ?!" Yuya stated in shock.
"And 3500 ATK.." Yuzu said in overwhelmed.
"Kali Yuga effect! When Kali Yuga is Special Summoned, it can negate all cards on the field except itself until the end of this turn." Reiji explained as all cards on Shark and Reiji's field become grey except Kali Yuga.

'At least Armageddon effect getting negate.' Shark though.
"Battle! Kali Yuga attack Bahamut Shark! Twin Break Shot!" Kali Yuga shot twin lightning shock as Bahamut Shark destroyed in second.

"My two armageddon's attack Leviathan Dragon and Valiant Shark Lancer! The end of the world!" Two Armageddon's blast to Shark's monster as they destroyed.
"Ugh!" Shark grunted in pain.

"I use Action Magic: Double Change! Armageddon can attack again! Armageddon attack directly! The end of the world!" Reiji command.
"Action Magic: Miracle! The battle damage I took become halved!" Shark countered as Armageddon blast his Shark.
"AHHHHHH!!!" Shark yelled in pain.
"SHARK!" Yu Show Gang yelled in panicked.

"I set one card facedown and end my turn." Reiji stated.

"My tur.. GAH!" Shark yelled in pain as he held his head and his left eye turned into red again.
"What happened with Shark ?!" Yuya asked in worried as the others surprise as well.
Shark Mindscape
Shark opened his eyes as he found he's in the same place when he meet Nasch.
"how can I be in this place again?" Shark said. Not expect to get some answered until..
"I sent you here."
He turned around and found Nasch was standing before him.
"Nasch ?! How.." Shark want to ask why he came here before Nasch interupped him.
"I'll explain later. The four dimension is in serious danger. That man will awaken the sleeping demon. You must protect your friends and they look alike. I'll give you some of my power for now." Nasch explain as Shark tilted his head in confusion.
"What do you me-" Shark want to ask before Nasch touch his deck and extra deck as it glowed.
"Done." Nasch said before vanished and Shark back to the duel.
Yu Show Duel Arena
The pain dissapeared as Shark back at Yu Show.
"Reginald ? You alright ?" Reiji asked in confusion as the spectator looked worried.
"Yeah. Sorry about that." Shark said as his left eye was turned to normal. 'What does Nasch means ? I will ask him later. But let's recap first. He has two Armageddon and Kali Yuga. I only have two set cards and Water Hazard. My only change is to draw a good card or I lose.' Shark though before he draw.
"My turn.." Shark said before he saw his top deck was glowing. He close his eyes as he draw. "DRAW!" He looked at the card he draw. 'Thanks, Nasch.'

"Before that, I activated Kali Yuga's effect! By detaching one overlay unit, I can destroy all spell/trap cards on the field." Reiji explained as Kali Yuga released a strong storm and going to destroyed a Shark's facedowns.
"Oh no! That means Shark's set cards is destroyed!" Yuya said in panicked.
"I activated Drill Shark effect from my graveyard! By banishing Drill Shark from my graveyard, I negate the activation of your Kali Yuga's effect!" Shark countered as Drill Shark stopped Kali Yuga's storm.
"Phew, his facedown is safe." Yuya said.
"I activated a Spell, Card of Demise! I draw until I got five cards on my hand but in my 5th standby phase I sent all my cards on my hand to graveyard." Shark declared as he draw five cards.

"Then I activated a Spell, Salvage! I can add two WATER monsters with 1500 or less ATK from my graveyard back to my hand! I add Lantern Shark and Eagle Shark!" Shark declared as he add Lantern Shark and Eagle Shark back to his hand.

"With Water Hazard, I Special Summon Lantern Shark!" Lantern Shark back to the field.
Lantern Shark ( ATK 1500/DEF 900, Fish/Water/LV: 4 )
"Since you already know Lantern Shark effect, don't need to tell twice. I Special Summon Buzzsaw Shark!" Buzzsaw Shark appeared on the field.
Buzzsaw Shark ( ATK 1600/DEF 500, Fish/Water/LV: 4 )
"Buzzsaw Shark effect! I can target one WATER monster I control and I can Special Summon one Fish monster with the same level as that monster from my deck! I target Lantern Shark so I can Special Summon Spear Shark from my deck!" Then White Shark appeared on the field.
Spear Shark ( ATK 1600/DEF 1400, Fish/Water/LV: 4 )
Shark feels Shark Drake roared in his extra deck. 'Don't worry, you come out now.' Shark though.
"I overlay my level 4 Lantern Shark, Buzzsaw Shark and Spear Shark! The most powerful ruler of the deep sea! Your sharp fangs shall exerminate everything! Xyz Summon! Rank 4! Shark Drake!"
Shark Drake ( ATK 2800/DEF 2100, Sea Serpent/Water/RK: 4/OVU: 3 )
"There is it! Shark's ace!" Yu Show gang cheered.
"So it's your ace huh ? I admit that impressive. But it still no match againts my kings." Reiji commented.
"Don't be so sure Akaba Reiji." Shark said with smirked. "This is where I will acquire my new power!" Shark strongly declared as everyone surprise.
"What ?" Reiji couldn't help but ask.
"Shark new power ?" Yuya muttered in confusion.
"What does he mean ?" Sora added.
"In order to save my friends, I'm willing to accept everything! Come, Shark Drake! Accept my wish, and evolve!" Shark declared in menacing smile as Shark Drake roared loudly.
"Evolved ?!" Everyone exclaimed in shock.
Shark raised his fist as galaxy portal appears above him and emitted rain. After that, Shark's body surrounded by purple aura.
"W-what is this ?!" Trio LDS exclaimed in shock.
"Go, Shark Drake! Chaos Xyz Change!" Shark declared as Shark Drake vins and legs dissapear and it slowly entered the portal.
"Chaos Xyz ?!" Yu Show gang exclaimed in shock.
"I never heard about Chaos Xyz before.." Reiji said in awe and shock.
"Just who is he ?!" Hokuto said in shock and jealous.
"The most frightening ruler of the deep sea! Your power shall rule the seven seas! Show Yourself! CXyz Shark Drake Veiss!"
CXyz Shark Drake Veiss ( ATK 2800/DEF 2800, Sea Serpent/Xyz/RK: 4/OVU: 4 )
Everyone stood in awe as they see Shark Drake Veiss appeared on the field.
"Amazing.." Yuzu muttered.
"Continuous Trap open, Call of the Haunted! I can target one monster from my graveyard and Special Summon it. I Special Summon White Moray!" Then White Moray appeared on the field.
White Moray ( ATK 600/DEF 200, Fish/Water/LV: 2 )
"When White Moray is Special Summon from the graveyard, it treated as Tuner this turn!" Shark declared as everyone shocked.
"Tuner ?!" LDS Trio exclaimed in shock.
"That means Shark can.." Yuya said in surprise.
"Synchro Summon." Yuzu added.
"And I Summon Hammer Shark in attack mode." Then Hammer Shark appeared on the field.
Hammer Shark ( ATK 1700/DEF 1500, Fish/Water/LV: 4 )
"I'm tuning my level 2 White Moray and Level 4 Hammer Shark! The purest dolphin slumbering in the abyss! Awaken in the deep between life and death! Synchro Summon! Appear! Level 6! White Aura Dolphin!"
