5. Welcome Home with A Kiss

The long days without Ciel had been miserable. I had cried every day for a while.

I watched him through the hearth flames. His brother would catch up to him soon at this rate.

And he would be...would be...

I couldn't finish that thought.

Sebastian was being ridiculous.

I was a priestess. And I WOULD protect Ciel!

I used my power, summoned him and Sebastian, through their contract.

Ciel looked happy to see me. He kissed my cheek.

Sebastian looked jealous.

Ciel had never thought he'd see Kuri again.

But here she was, calling for him.

It had the added bonus of pissing off Sebastian, which was hilarious.

It was ingenious, using their bond to pull him and Sebastian here.

She'd reinforced her barriers, and his brother wouldn't find him.

So he kissed Kuri happily.

He was home.
