A/N: * chuckles nervously* Boy has it been a long time since I posted. This chapter has a fair few scenes with Flora in it since I given her a chance to star in the spotlight. (And by a fair few I mean 1- I can never seem to write Flora properly)

Tecna hated Fridays. They were the bane of her existence, the reason why every week ended on a bad note for her. Obviously her roommate didn't understand her hatred for everyone's beloved day.

("But it's Friday Tec! The day when your weekend truly starts. How could you not like Fridays?")

Tecna thought it made perfect sense. Fridays didn't like her, so she didn't like Fridays. They had a mutual bond of hatred, reciprocating each other's feelings.

Bad things happened on a Friday. Bad things like spilling water on your laptop or being left in school alone or accidently deleting three months worth of game progress or telling a certain blonde fairy that she liked red hair and said fairy misinterpreting it for a plea to change her hair colour. (They both decided red hair was best meant for Bloom.)

But what happened today took the cake. The stupid metaphorical cake and the stupid Friday. She bet the two things were both laughing in a sunny beach with killer wifi.

Because how on all the planets in the entire magic dimension, was she meant to tell Flora that she had accidently shoved her favourite plant out the window.

Okay backstory.

Tecna wasn't a clumsy person. She was aware of her surroundings and was careful in where she stepped. Except today. Because today she had been carrying her laptop, charger and all her school books including a botany book that Flora had so graciously given to her. So she was on her way to drop the book onto Flora's desk and upon entering their room, she lost sight of the floor, tripped on one of the plant's roots and elbowed a beautiful rare flower of the windowsill.

She then stood there, watching the aforementioned flower, hurtle three stories down, before it so graciously crashed into the floor.

Woe is her.

Flora was a naturally kind person. Tecna knew she wouldn't get mad at her but that made the whole situation seem even worse. Tecna wasn't the best at emotions and the nature fairy was understood best out of the six girls.

She had no idea what to do. So she took the worst option and asked Musa.

"Don't say anything unless she brings it up. And if she does, blame it on Stella. That girl's such a klutz no-one would question it. "

"That's dishonest Musa. The last thing I want to do is lie."

Musa leaned back on her chair, and put on her 'thinking face'.

"Buy her a new plant. I mean it was a white flower with pink petals. Those can't be so hard to find."

'There are over three million different types of plant and Flora's the fairy of nature. I think she'll notice if we don't get that specific plant."

Tecna sighed, her mind racing with different ideas in which they could approach the problem. Her roommate had completely disregarded her dilemma as Musa was too busy trying to throw scrunched up pieces of paper into the bin. She missed every time.

"What do I do?"

"I still think you should blame it on Stella."

"Musa no."

After a few hours of wallowing in her self-pity and looking up silver flowers with pink petals (yes, she had caved into Musa's advice, she was that desperate) Tecna decided that the best course of action was to come clean to Flora. No lies, no hiding the truth, no pinning the blame on Stella. Just blatant honesty. After all, honestly is the best policy.

(She could almost hear Musa cringe at the phrase.)

As soon as Flora stepped into their dorm, Tecna took action.

"Flora I have something to tell you,"

"Oh Tecna isn't it wonderful?" The nature fairy turned round with a gleeful expression on her face as she looked at Tecna who was stood in confusion.

"My flower fell out the window somehow and it started growing bigger. Look!"

And, true to her word, Flora showed Tecna the rapidly growing plant that now had pink petals brushing the window. It was then Tecna decided that maybe she didn't need to tell Flora the truth.

After all, weren't they both happy with this outcome?

Tecna dismissed herself as Flora started babbling on about her great this was.

"Did you end up blaming it on Stella?"

"No Musa, Flora didn't care about it."

"How marvellous for the both of you. Popcorn?"

Tecna nodded and reached into the box of popcorn Musa was holding. She then nestled back and continued trying to shove Musa's leg off her as they both watched Stella struggle to reach out of the window for her makeup that the plant had now stolen.

Maybe Friday's weren't so bad after all?

(That train of thought was lost the second she went back into her room and saw the thick layer of pollen covering her bed.)

A/N: My hatred for fridays seeps into this chapter as you can so clearly tell. Also thank you for leaving a review again Guest!

Well that's chapter no.5. I'm hoping to write around 7 in total maybe?
