That Awkward Time I Fell In Love

Chapter 5

Naruto blinked dumbly, as the older Uchiha brother approached. Although Sasuke and he were best friends for years, he had never met the man. But he looked regal to Naruto. Long black hair in a low ponytail, black eyes, and alabaster skin. He also had tear troughs, giving a more mature look than Sasuke.

"Hn, who's the new guy?" Itachi asked with a smirk, obviously knowing he was being looked at.

And now Naruto saw that Uchiha arrogance. This was definitely Sasuke's older brother. He spoke like he knew he was the best looking man around and toted that information around. It was official. Naruto did not like him… at all.

"This is Naruto Uzumaki," Sasuke answered, seeing Naruto looked annoyed. His older brother had that affect on people. Actually, everyone in his family, besides his mother, did. "He is the new secretary for the two of us."

Naruto smiled brightly at the elder brother. "It will be a pleasure working for you," he spoke kindly, not wanting to piss off his new boss.

"Hn, I'm sure it will." And with that, Itachi walked back to his office, shutting the door behind him.

Naruto ran his hands through his hair, spiking it up even more than normal, and groaned, looking at Sasuke. "Is he always like that?" he asked the raven looking annoyed.

"Yes," Sasuke spoke without a pause. "The Uchiha family is a little arrogant." I'm probably the least along with my mother."

Naruto looked at his new desk and debated if he should hit his head into it. After a minute, he decided it had more cons than pros, so he'd better not.

Sasuke smirked and continued to teach his friend how to use the computer programs, and use his desk phone to call both brother's offices, to which Naruto made sure to write down in a planner. Orange obviously. He and Sasuke fought about that over the weekend, but the argument " so I don't lose it" stuck out as a good point to allow it.

As Naruto got the hang of things, Sasuke went to his office to start his own work, and left the blond to his own devices. This was somewhat preferred for both of them, as too much time together could lead to petty arguments.

It was an hour into his shift, working on reorganizing the entire desk, inside and out, that his phone rang.

"Sharingan, this is Naruto," he answered simply.

"Mr. Itachi Uchiha's morning meeting is here," a female voice spoke.

"I'll let him know." He hung up and called Itachi's office and told him, and less than a minute later the elder Uchiha left his office and briskly walked to the elevator, grumbling about how he hadn't had his coffee yet and it would be cold by the time he got back.

With that, Naruto had an idea on how to get on his boss's good side. He smirked as he went to knock on Sasuke's door to see if it would be ok.
