Another chapter uploaded, I feel pretty good almost got hit by a car today, and tripped on some wood coming back from school. Your usual day. and this chapter was uploaded late at night too, anyway I digress. I tried to write a bit more descriptively this time around, but it's probably the same or worst. Anyways enjoy.

His slumber was awakened by a warm presence beaming through the window. A gentle sunray came all the way from the sun to awaken. The dust floated about in the air only visible because of the said sunray. Genichiro took his time to get up as it was a new day. A day after he had succeeded in averting his death, while at the same time earning respect from Ram. While he didn't think of this right away, he simply let his body act on its own.

His body shivered as he felt the still air in the room, however, it quickly washed away as he opened the curtains allowing the morning light to flood the room. It was too bright, as most people would say when they wake up, but Genichiro didn't mind, in fact, he welcomed it.

Strapping on his pair of Waraji, he placed the rest of his armor pieces on his legs. He quickly checked their structural integrity with his eyes and hands, feeling for any cracks or abnormalities with the pieces of armor, he subconsciously concluded that everything was in order as he placed on his custom-made Regalia above his armor, which Rem had made earlier, to match his colors.

To not flatter himself as well, hard. Because his white regalia contrasted well with his black, red, and gold armor pieces. His appearance seemed to match those of a foreign heir of nobility, at least when he first appeared. But now it simply reinforced the idea of him being one, which wasn't exactly wrong. Still, he shot down the idea of accepting it, as it would give wrong impressions. Especially to those of a high class or social class.

Shaking the idea out of his head, with a quiet sigh he placed on his helmet and armed himself with his bow and katana for the day. He went to the table, with quiet footsteps expanding throughout the room as he grabbed a handkerchief to wipe down his face. After all, he had to be presentable in the face of everyone.

After walking to the doorknob he grasped it and twisted it. A strange way to open doors to him at least. But it was convenient to save up space, so he didn't complain. As the door opened, he was face to face with Emilia, Genichiro paused and she as well too did as they made eye contact. An awkward silence flooded between the two in the hallway. But Genichiro drew his metaphorical sword and slew the silence in the hallway.

"Good morning, what brings you to my quarters, Emilia?" He asked with a smile only a samurai could give to those who asked.

"Good morning to you too, Genichiro. I was going to check how you were today, but it seems you're already up and ready for whatever is out there, right?" She said as she placed a hand on her Amulet, which began to emit a green hue and strange sounds.

"That's right, my condition is well and requires no more attention." He said in a way that would appease her worries.

"I see… still if you don't feel well, don't be a dunderhead and ask for help." She pouted slightly as she turned her face away, crossing her arms.

"Dunderhead huh…? I haven't heard such a word since I've entered a library back home when I was younger." He sighed.

"Well, I thought to greet you this morning. Because you have something scheduled with Rem right?" She reminded him of their agreement from yesterday.

"Yes I do, thanks," Genichiro confirmed with a nod.

"Then I'll see you later, be careful alright?" She said as if she was saying goodbye to her younger sibling. Before walking away waving at him.

"Of course." And thus the two departed to their respective destinations.

After a few minutes of walking through several hallways filled with the same antique decorations, he had finally reached the front doors. Opening the door his view was flooded by a quick flash of light forcing him to squint. When his vision became clear, he could only stare in awe at this view. A light breeze in the wind poured from the skies. The grass moves as if it were the waves on the surface of the sea. An unremarkable yet serene sight.

The trees swayed as the wind enforced its authority over the domain of the skies. With several leaves flowing through the currents of air throughout the field. The scent of the grass and dew was a first for him as he never smelled anything like this before. Mostly because Ashina was located in the mountains. But he was snapped out of his trance of admiring nature by a familiar voice.

Whose voice once tried to kill him before.

"Good morning, Sir Genichiro." The blue-haired maid said as she leaned against the wooden barrel.

"To you as well. And drop the title, we are colleagues after all." He said taking in the fresh air. Genichiro felt his body feel much better.

"I s-see, Genichiro." She stuttered, feeling awkward. But then a pink-haired maid came into view whose appearance is quite similar. In fact, they're almost identical with two key differences that are easily visible.

"Ho, to think Geni the pervert is trying to capture my dear Rem under his grasp. How terrible." Ram said as she walked with her hands crossed. "I won't let it happen."

"Well, would you look at this? Ram the slacker has finally appeared, will she actually aid us in today's work?" Genichiro the pervert bantered with a whole-hearted smile.

"For Rem? Yes. For you? Only in your dreams." She flicked her hair lightly, expressing the rawest form of smug energy as she deflected the impact of Genichiro's words.

Ram still bit as hard as when he first met her, but something seems different. As if she's merely teasing not actually insulting, how peculiar Genichiro thought to himself as he stretched.

"Let's get going. We wouldn't want to be late would we?" He said grabbing the barrel and carrying it on his shoulder.

"Yes… Genichiro." Rem nodded with Genichiro receiving a disapproving stare from Ram.

The three began to walk as they departed for the village for their quest of collecting ingredients and spices for the kitchen of Roswaal's Mansion.

On the dirt path going through several trees and forest patches, a fair breeze flew from behind them as if to guide the three, beyond the bright light ahead was an awe-inspiring view to Genichiro. The rolling fields, the sky so blue as if it could expand. And the village down quiet yet bustling, children playing around, a small but lively village.

"Focus your mind and heart on defeating your target, in battle, there is no time to think. There are no rules to follow in the Ashina way of the blade but one, look to defeat your opponent first, and honor second." Genichiro lectured as several villagers tried their hand at the Ashina style. "Secondly, make the technique your own. You do not have to exactly follow it. However, if you hesitate you lose."

He repeated the same one-line grandfather had always said whenever in conversation relating to combat in every way possible.

Several villagers were slowly repeating the motion of Ichimonji, Single-minded mastery of this technique was the heart of Ashina's school of swordsmanship. Once mastered, it can be improved upon greatly in many ways. Some of the seniors were doing it much slower than the others but their technique's motion was almost flawless.

The children were full of energy, swinging fast with a sloppy motion, but even so. It would impart great power into their strike. The younger adults however caught on, swinging with power and technique which made Genichiro happy. As he could try to preserve Ashina's legacy in one way or another.

While he doesn't use Ichimonji often, it is a very versatile technique with anyone willing to learn can master after some time. Making even the strongest opponents within reason, flinch or defend from their strike.

"And remember, do not use this technique carelessly. Use it when the time is right. However, if you hesitate you lose. That is all for today." As he sat up from the wooden chair he borrowed from the local villager. Several villagers approached him with jeers and questions, several of them being of his origin or just about him.

"Sir Genichiro. I feel more than ready for anything now." The scarfed man said with a grateful expression.

"That's good. But never overestimate yourself nor underestimate yourself." Genichiro provided insight to him, after all a village must have their own men be able to defend themselves, rather than be defended by a single man. At least that was what Genichiro believed in.

"Understood." He said as he patted Genichiro's shoulder with a grateful look on his face.

The people of Ashina had nobody to defend them except themselves, thus gaining this mindset and belief that only they themselves can combat their own enemies.

"Genichiro." Ram said as she grabbed his attention with a blank expression.

"Yes?" He responded as he approached her.

"What were you teaching them?" She asked curiously as to what he could be doing.

"Teaching the villagers the Ashina sword style." He replied look around at the other villagers, seeing some still practicing while others resting. "Several older Samurai back in my homeland was able to cut down enemies with ease. With one notable one. Jinsuke Saze, with a combination of the Ashina style and Iaijutsu, was a force to be reckoned with. I'm sure If I fought him only with my sword techniques, I'd surely lose."

"I see. Have it your way a bit longer then." Ram surprisingly gave in rather fast, gaining two stares of disbelief from Rem and Genichiro.

"If you say so sister." Rem said as she held a basket full of what Genichiro presumptively thought were either fruits or potatoes. However before the three were able to continue their conversation, some children began to bother them, especially Genichiro.

"Mister knight can we play with you?"

"Yeah, can you tell us something cool?"

A nostalgic smile was plastered on his face, it was hard to refuse such requests, and thus he gave in.

"Sure. Where do we want to do this." The two boys pointed towards the fence near the forest edge, far away from the adults. With a nod he followed them, but not without an ulterior motive of course. Something felt off, he wasn't sure about this but trusting his gut he decided to conduct a possible investigation of something he may have missed. After all his gut saved him from being smashed to bits by an angered Rem.

He followed the two meet up with the other children forming a sort of clique. They all gathered around this peculiar girl he never saw before with blue hair and shy grassy green eyes. Who appeared to be holding a strange bald puppy in her hands.

"Um, mister. Would you like to pet him?" She said holding the puppy out to him.

"I would, but we haven't introduced ourselves yet have we?" Genichiro said as he is trying to push some information out, to see if his suspicions were unfounded.

"Sir… my name is Meili." She said quietly as if she was trying to hide it the entire time.

"Is that so? Call me Genichiro." He said as he held out a hand towards Meili as if to give out a friendship.

She paused but grasped his hands, leading to a mutual handshake with both sides being satisfied for their introduction, especially with Meili. Her eyes brightened at this with a pleasant look of happiness.

"Now allow me to pet the puppy." He said lowering himself down to be on a head-to-head level with Meili. With her complying and moving the puppy towards him. To everyone else, the puppy looks content for where it is in place, which wasn't wrong.

As Genichiro's hand moved closer to the puppy, its expression changed to one from content to visible anger. A quiet growl resonated from the puppy, with everyone being able to hear it. Causing Genichiro to quickly retract his hand as the puppy attempted to bite him.

"Huh? It never did that when it's around us." Another kid said.

"Maybe it's mad with big bro Genichiro?" Another asked with genuine concern.

"Hmm. Maybe it does have a bit of a reason to be mad, It matters not. I believe I must get going, after all, I wouldn't want my lady to be worried." He said as he stood up to wave to the children. With several asking him to stay. But of course, he still had to investigate whatever was causing him to feel with unease as if he was missing something.

Genichiro simply said that he would visit them another time this week, after some business was taken care of, of course.

The noon shifted to the afternoon slowly as the three employees made their way on their path back to the mansion, in his time living in Ashina he took the sign of the afternoon as a bad omen of sorts. Due to the fact, several events happened or began during these evening hours. The invasion of course.

He knew deep down he couldn't be the only one here, perhaps several others who died at the hands of the shinobi of the divine heir were sent here.

But it wasn't time to dwell on that as they finally reach back at the mansion. Small beads of sweat appeared on his face. Even as a warrior, he lacked the physical strength and endurance to carry very heavy barrels through a warm evening, with several hills and inclines. A new training regimen would have to be forced upon himself to keep up with the locals. Never once was he used to this heat.

Slamming the barrel onto the ground with gravity assisting it, Genichiro gave out an abated tired breathe making him force out the first complaint he had ever since he began to work here.

"How on earth… do you two manage to carry these with such ease?" He questioned letting the wind cool him down a little. He placed down his helmet onto the barrel letting his head cool down a tad bit.

"It's simple. You're just weak Geni." Ram said gazing upon his tired visage.

"It's simple. You've had not had training. But good work." Rem gave her approval at the end, making Genichiro in turn a bit less tired. The three were about to continue their bantering, only to be interrupted by an eccentric voice.

"Ah. I see the three of you are together. That will save me some time." Roswaal said as he approached the three, gaining the unwavering attention of the twins immediately.

"Lord Roswaal." The two twins bowed for a few seconds before returning to their usual posture.

"Are you heading somewhere Lord Roswaal?" Genichiro asked standing up to place his helmet back on his head.

"Well spotted. I'm seeing someone who isn't exactly fond of casual clothing, So I had no choice but to wear dress clothes." He finished with lifting his hat in a direction away from him.

"A visitor?" Rem asked

"You're going out?" Ram asked

"Ram is correct. I'm going out." Roswaal said gesturing praise by point up towards her direction. "I received a message that was a tad troublesome… So I'm off to make the rounds outside for today."

Something the greatest magician had to attend to himself? What would this be? Genichiro thought.

"I don't expect to be home tonight, so Ram and Rem, take care of things in my steed." He ordered calmly.

"Yes, sir. As you command." Replied Ram.

"Yes, sir. Even if it costs our lives." Replied Rem.

Walking past the twins, Roswaal placed a hand on Genichiro's shoulder and began to utter some quiet words in a strangely creepy way.

"I'm counting on you, too, Sir Genichiro. Take good care of Lady Emilia." He finished walking past Genichiro.

"Of course. It was my duty and oath to be her Retainer." Genichiro reminded himself and Roswaal at the same time. Gaining a curt nod from Roswaal himself.

"Then, look after things while I'm away." Roswaal said as he for some reason held onto his head. Only to suddenly rise into the air surprising Genichiro. Darting high into the air.

"He can fly?" He was baffled. To think magic could make you fly at all was proof of the usefulness it will have. And at that speed, it would be at the utmost useful tool in one's belt.

Then Roswaal flew at immensely high speeds leaving a trail of clouds behind him disappearing past several hills and mountains beyond the horizon. Leaving a quick wave of air back at where he used to stand.

The three split off into doing their own things, but not before they stocked the kitchen with the needed supplies and ingredients from the village. A neat array of vegetables are kept in a storage compartment, while the meats and other things are kept elsewhere.

In his quarters the evening sun was beginning to wane below the horizon a little bit. Using the time he has left of the day, he jotted down some notes in full Japanese and glyphs in the event somebody decides to take a peek at his journal when he wasn't looking to prevent misunderstandings.

Notes of Arlam or Irlam village.

The initial investigation of mine was started by a simple gut feeling. It's most likely me being paranoid, but it's not wrong to be prepared for anything. I felt as if there was something I missed. However, it matters not.

But as to my knowledge, I believe this matter is to be investigated. In Arlam or is it Irlam? Strange foreign names for villages, but never mind that. It may be a stretch, but it's possible that a small bald puppy could be a threat to the village. Before my previous death, I was bit by a said puppy, while Rem probably would have killed me in my sleep a long time ago, it's still entirely possible I could have died from a curse.

The puppy displayed content and calm behavior when around the children, yet it immediately reacted with hostility as I was about to approach it. Rem mentioned that I was a witch cultist as I was dueling with her back when we were on dangerous terms. It would be wise to consult Lady Beatrice about this, as to why a dog would react so suddenly at me.

The last part he was about to write, was decided for the best, only to be written in Japanese for several reasons of course, that would arise of knowing your knight or colleague possesses an immortal slaying sword that is capable of opening a gate into the underworld.

Additional unrelated notes.

Kaimon the black mortal blade is capable of destroying forms of immortality. Example one would be the encounter with Elsa the bowel hunter. She exclaimed with ferocious rage as to what I could have done with her "Cursed Doll." under the assumption that the "Cursed Doll" is a form of immortality. Another effect is preventing healing through the form of immortality. But not resurrection.

He finished satisfied with his tad bit of writing. Genichiro still needed to remember Hiragana just in case he ever returned. As he finished putting away the ink pen. He armed his sash with two weapons. The katana and bow, effective at slaying beasts and men alike. As Genichiro finished fastening the sash he put his journal into the desk before grasping the handle and closing it shut.

After that, he cleaned up his desk placing several of the materials and books available to him, about certain Demon beasts, with some capable of casting curses. This reminder pushed him further to investigate even more earlier in his room. Leading to the eventual discovery of the great three demon beasts. The White Whale, The Great Rabbit, and finally the Black Serpent. Back in the lands of Ashina, there was once a Great Serpent worshipped by many groups residing in that part of Japan.

With its behavior utterly vicious with its way in operating. Only behaving calmly when one is offering their body to it. It was essentially a living god. This plagued him with a question. What were to happen if the Great Serpent faced the Black Serpent a truly awe-inspiring thought. But he quickly shot it down as it was absurd, even foolish. Thus he decided it was time to head to Beatrice's Library.

He headed out and opened the first door that fancied him after closing the knight's quarters. The door opened revealing the forbidden library in its full glory, immediately alerting the librarian.

"Hmm. Your face looks quite different than it did half a day ago. You've been busy, I suppose." Beatrice observed the newly dressed Knight as if he was ready for combat.

"Lady Beatrice, I wish to consult you on something." Genichiro went straight to the point.

"Hmm, and why should betty consult you anyways?" She deflected his request quickly, but Genichiro had an ace up his sleeve in anticipation of such a question.

"I am Emilia's retainer. I have decided to investigate a possible threat. And Emilia would approve it as her will. And since It's her will it would be Puck's will. Surely it's enough of a reason to aid me." Genichiro finished. With Beatrice giving a haughty sigh.

"Don't make betty laugh. Bubby wouldn't spare you a glance for your request." She shot back with a twitching glare at the fact he tried to use Bubby as bait.

"Is that so, to think I would resort to such methods." He gave a heavy sigh and decided to give it his all in convincing Beatrice on helping.

"Lady Emilia would be saddened greatly if her loyal retainer died tragically, thus her feelings transfer onto Puck making him sad for Emilia. While you could have done something about it." He felt guilty, but it was a necessary measure in order for this work.

"Mmmh! Fine! But Betty will only do this once for you." Beatrice hesitantly conceited, allowing him for his consultation.

"I have several questions, revolving around demon beasts and curses. And finally, why was I attacked." He stated, gaining an impatient glare from the librarian.

"Go on with it." Her cold yet beautiful eyes bore into him, pushing him to go on with his request.

"Rem stated that I was a witch cultist. Why might that be?" He asked wanting to know, while almost sounding desperate.

"It would be your putrid scent I suppose," Beatrice said as she sat up covering her nose up from the so-called putrid scent.

"What do you mean?" Genichiro knew he cleans himself daily and goes to great lengths to smell better than usual.

"The witch's miasma I suppose. For some reason, the scent lingers from you." She answered while continuing to plug her nose.

"The witch's? as in Satella? The supposed witch who almost destroyed the world four hundred years ago?" This answer simply gave more questions than answers.

"Correct." Beatrice said. Sipping some tea from her cup.

"I-I see. I'll ask you that later. But if that's the case, can demon beasts sense the witch's miasma? Because I encountered a puppy who was hostile as soon as I neared its position." Genichiro admitted gaining another glare from Beatrice.

"Indeed, demon beasts can smell and sense individuals with the witch's miasma. Due to the mere fact, they too were created by a witch. But as for your question, Demon beasts behave violently and erratically when they can smell the miasma, I suppose." She finished.

"Then can demon beasts cast…." He wouldn't dare finish that sentence, one look from Beatrice was all he needed to know. Those kids, they were in danger, weren't they? "Tell me, how can one get rid of a curse." He demanded with a hint of desperation flooding through his voice.

"Once activated it cannot stop. It will consume the victim's mana until they are a mere husk. But they are preventable if they are presented to a skilled mage they can be removed. But that forest is filled with many demon beasts I suppose." She said with a bored expression. "Another way to remove curses is by killing the shaman who cast it."

"Then I'll go. There's no time to waste." Genichiro muttered to himself as he bolted out of the room motivated to rescue those children and enact revenge for himself. Not only that but to bolster Emilia's reputation as well.

It was time he returned the favor, as there were children needing to be saved. Where once he was saved back when he had nowhere to go. He too would bring these children back to where they belonged.

Genichiro gathered Rem and Ram as they sped up towards the mansion entrance. From what he could see the sun had long set awhile back. Only causing him to feel an even greater feeling of investigating, no rescuing those children. Taking a short amount of time to explain the entire situation. But not before taking a deep breath to calm himself to prevent irrational thinking.

"So Geni, you're telling us that it's possible that the village could possibly be threatened by demon beasts in the forest?" Ram asked.

"That's right. I know it's crazy, but it's better to be sure than not right?" Genichiro said as he tried to convince the twins to aid him. "Those children were playing around with a demon beast disguised under the look of a mere harmless puppy. How do you know? You might ask, but Rem of all people here would know."

"That's right. But even if we follow Roswaal's orders, there simply isn't a reason to do it." Rem said apologetically with a glint of guilt in her eyes.

"I see. But however, I realized I haven't filled my part of our agreement yet." Genichiro followed up with an offer.

"What do you mean?" Ram asked suspicious of Genichiro's actions.

"Sister, Genichiro, and I had an agreement. With him answering any questions I had for him." Rem admitted, gaining a stare from her older sister in confusion.

"I know this is selfish of me. But I ask that you aid me in this endeavor, it be a plight on Lord Roswaal's reputation if his domain is not well defended enough to protect a singular village." Genichiro said with a pause, but he had one more thing to say. "I don't expect you to aid me in this endeavor but, I promise I will answer all and any questions you have for me.

Ram glared with some contempt at Genichiro for dragging her most precious Lord Roswaal into this, but cannot help but agree with his points giving him a heavy sigh in return.

"I see you've made your decision. Can I ask that one of you stay here to protect Lady Emilia?" He said waiting for their response.

"Very well, Rem you may go with him. I will confirm with Lady Beatrice and protect Lady Emilia." Ram asked with a serious tone.

"Sister… You shouldn't." Rem tried to convince her not to but only to be.

"This is my decision Rem, please go with him." Ram finished, with a tone that held no argument.

"Then lets us get going, we have no time to waste." His steeled eyes of silver glinted as if he were a hawk readying for a hunt. But some footsteps could be heard approaching from behind Genichiro.

"Genichiro, are you going somewhere? I heard some loud noises, so I came down to see what was going on… what happened?" She asked as she jogged towards the three standing in front of the doors.

"You needn't worry about this. Rem and I have decided to launch an investigation, on some recent events." Genichiro gave a half-truth to assuage any worries that Emilia would have. And to prevent her from going into live combat. While she may have fought certain threats before, but live combat against several hundred threats isn't exactly what a spirit arts user can handle.

It's ironic coming from him, but it's his duty to protect her from all and any threats.

"I see… I won't stop you, but I will ask that you come back in one piece. That's an order." Emilia put her hands on her hips to assert her authority in this one moment.

"Of course. I don't intend on dying until you at least reach your goal." He said reaffirming the trust between the two.

"Then…" Emilia said as she placed a hand onto Genichiro's chest, making him pause. "May the blessing of the spirits be with you."

"Thank you." Giving a curt nod Rem and Genichiro headed out of the mansion. Both armed and ready for combat. Whereas the candidate for the throne wishes them well, in prays for their safety.

They sped down the trail into a shortcut that Rem knows of, decreasing the time needed to arrive to the village. Several bon fires and torches were alit at the village square, easily visible from afar, a telling sign that something must have been wrong. Loud chatter could be heard, with voices sounding worried, anxious, and fearful.

Once they pass through the final row of trees, they arrive in the nick of time, almost immediately meeting one of the villagers.

"Excuse me! What's going on here?" Genichiro asked, wanting to know of the situation.

"Sir Genichiro, several children have gone missing. All the other adults have been looking for them." The young man holding a torch said, with a worried expression.

"I believe we have a place to start if I remember correctly." Muttered under his breath, making Rem notice him muttering. While Rem did indeed trust him, she still had some doubts about him subconsciously. "Follow me."

The trio ran through the village passing by empty dark houses, symbolizing their search for the children. While also giving an eerie feeling in the atmosphere of the place. As if something terribly went wrong here.

The sky was darkened, a full moonlight was enshrined throughout the sky, its beam of light brightening the ground below, providing the inhabitants a sense of purpose. Genichiro and the other two made their way to the last place Genichiro saw the kids playing with the dog, and something was obviously amiss.

Several glowing crystals lined the forest trees making a barrier of sorts, with one of the crystals not glowing at all.

"The barrier is broken." Rem stated grimly not turning her head away from the broken barrier.

"Then demon beasts can enter, correct?" Genichiro asked for more info.

"That's right. The enemies of humanity, that have magical abilities, live gregariously in this forest." Rem said without hesitation.

"Shit… then we'll be facing more than we can handle. No, I won't let that deter me from performing my duties." Genichiro said, almost hyping himself up.

"Ten out of ten motivational speech, Sir Genichiro." Rem said while wearing a grin on her face despite the seriousness out of this situation, she could at least find some humor to lighten up the mood.

"If you are able to say that despite the odds. Then we'll go." Genichiro said closing his eyes. "I trust you with my life."

"And Rem does too."

Omake #1 Shadows buy twice.

"Where the hell am I?" Wolf said aloud amidst the crowded city of furry fucks? and lizards? Oh, what the hell why not let Colonel Sanders assassinate me to another world? "Did I manage to prevent eternal black Friday?" It was inconceivable to think he would have been isekai'd in the middle of the sengoku period.

"Man this really sucks." Sekiro said to no one as he waltz into a alleyway with nobody totally in it.

"You think that sucks? What's gonna suck more is us stealing your shit! Can't have shit in Detroit can we?" a voice said to him from behind. Three guys, mushroom head, snake mouth, and unchained ogre?

"Well look at what we have here. Dumb dumber and dumbest. And what are you talking about? I can have shit in Detroit." Sekiro boasted a bluff to see how they would react.

"Well I beg to differ. Get him boys!" They roared in exhilaration in their attempt to take Wolf's shit, only to have their shit beaten. First they were moving far too slow to be a threat, the Ashina soldiers were much more dangerous then these guys.

First wolf punched the short one in the face, sending flying into a brick wall. Making the others freeze in their place.

"Please forgive us, we won't take your shit ever again." The unchained ogre said as he carried mushroom head and ran with snake mouth. Leaving wolf in the alleyway alone once more.

"Phew, that was weird. I hope to god I can go back to lord Kuro." Wiping a mild sweat bead off his face.

"Did somebody mention our lord and savior Colonel Sanders?" A calm hushed tone spoke from behind him. A red haired gentlemen said from behind, surprising wolf.

"No…?" Wolf said in complete and absolute confusion

"Oh my bad, sorry. The names Reinhard, just a local sword saint." He said with a smile. "Now tell me who might you be?"

"I'm Wolf, and I'm in the search of finding a land called Japan." He finished eating some Mcdonalds candies.

"Japan? Are you sure? Because that land only lives in myth. Our god Colonel Sanders once launched an invasion against it in the heavens above, taking the key point of Ashina." Reinhard explained as if it was pure facts he was spitting out.

"Uh yeah. Do you know where I could find employment before I go home?" Wolf asked unsure what to make of this 'Sword Saint'.

"Well theres want helped at a kfc. But you look like a shinobi, so your just in luck. There's a silver haired half elf named Emilia looking for a shinobi for hire. But as you would know Shinobi are quite rare around these parts." Reinhard explained sipping from his plastic cup. "You'll find her near the central fountain."

"Well then thanks, I'll get going now." Wolf said uncomfortably.

Reinhard waved goodbye as Wolf went through the capitol on his way to find employment.

"State your name and background." The half elf said.

"Wolf, trained shinobi since seven." He answered.

"What are your goals?"

"To return back to Japan."

"Will you support me on destroying Colonel Sanders in the election?"

"Definitely."

"You're hired."

The interview came as fast as it went, now with a proper source of income and food in this new land. Will the Wolf find his way home to his best boy Kuro?

Author's note: I spent a while writing this chapter and decided to write an Omake based on the Sekirot version and Wolf while at the same time twisting the world of Re:zero by Colonel Sander's influence. A brief break from the seriousness of the main story. As usual give criticisms and feedback, I just hope you aren't reading this without enjoying it somewhat. But if you are reading up to this chapter, seriously thanks for reading guys I really appreciate it. I never expected so many follows and favorites, nor the amount of views on this story in total really means a lot to me. Same schedule as usual 2-3 weeks time.
