Twenty-Two year old Daniel Micheals groaned as he woke up. Wincing he sat up, blinking around him.

"What the fuck!" Daniel yelped grabbing the chair he was sitting in. He appeared to be sitting on a chair in front of a desk in a giant void of fucking darkness. The only illumination being a computer and a lamp on the desk. Daniel's heart started pounding in fear. Where he was he really didn't want to be there.

"Hello? Is anyone there?" He called out in fear.

The screen flickered before writing appeared on it as the keys started pushing themselves. Daniel shivered slightly.

"Hello Daniel." A male, monotone robotic voice range out of the speakers even as it was being typed as well.

Daniel twitched.

"W-Who are you?" Daniel asked. "Where am I?"

"My name is Ano and as to where you are, well let's just call it a resting place. I might be considered what you call an ROB but I like to think I'm not a bad guy like some of the others you have heard of. Sure, I move mortals around for my own entertainment but it's usually to save them from a life of mediocrity or sometimes to even save their lives. In return I offer them a new life and powers."

"Powers?" Daniel asked in spite of himself.

"Indeed! You are here so that I can offer you powers whilst sending you to another world. I'm sorry to say that you sadly died in a house fire due to faulty wiring your landlord refused to fix." Ano told him, not sounding sorry at all, perhaps even a little gleeful.

"What kind of powers?" Daniel asked deciding to ignore the other's slight callousness.

"Well I thought I might base them on the Worm CYOA you filled out with a crossover with Fallout. And the world I am going to send you to is a version of the Fallout-Verse."

Daniel jerked.

"Fallout?" Daniel asked. Sure the Fallout series was one of his favorites but that didn't mean he exactly wanted to live there.

"Yes I know it is one of your favorite games. Unfortunately I'm going to have to cut back your powers some. I believe you mortals call it nerfing?"

Daniel felt a thrill of worry.

"Don't worry you'll still get Power Manipulation like you wanted but it won't receive any charges."

"What!" Daniel asked, his stomach falling.

"Now, now don't panic your primitive little mind Daniel. Instead of being able to create new powers going forward you need to pick and choose your powers now, you will not get any more in the future. Also you can only have seven permanent powers and seven temporary powers. Your permanent powers are always slotted on, while you only have two slots available for Temporary Powers. Each time you slot or unslot a power it will take ten seconds for it to activate."

Daniel quickly read over that a few times, his body relaxing slightly. That actually wasn't too bad. The screen flashed again revealing both Advantages and Disadvantages.

"What about granting powers to others?" Daniel asked.

"You will still be able to grant powers to others." Ano informed him. "If you choose to grant someone one of your powers you can choose to either lose it for six hours or immediately copy it but be unable to gift it to another for twenty-four hours. You will also still be able to take away anybodies powers if you desire to do so but you won't be able to manipulate any of the powers you choose."

Ano paused seemingly allowing Daniel to absorb what he said.

"I suggest you get to choosing now Daniel. You won't grow tired, hungry or thirsty as long as you are here."

It took him nearly an hour to figure out but Daniel sighed and flexed his aching fingers. After choosing is powers he had been left with only eight points causing him to wince slightly. For advantages Daniel had chosen to receive money for one point, a home base for two points. Next he he chose Extra and Personal supplies, which brought over his own belongings as well as providing the extra supplies, costing him one point while a Mr. Gutsy servants cost one point as well.

Wishing for a companion Daniel choose a synth-dog for one point. The biggest advantage he thought was the perk Things Are Getting Betterwhich made it so the world was on it's way to recovery. Less radiation, nature regrown in most places, and experiencing healthy growth and humanity was starting to recover. That advantage had cost him three points. Lastly for advantages he had taken knowledge of several skills. Knowledge on Survival in the Fallout-Verse, Medical Knowledge including First Aid and genetics for two points, Marksmanship for one point and lastly he chose Programming Knowledge for two points so it included both his Earth and Fallout-Earth bringing his total to negative seven.

For disadvantages Daniel had chosen three raider gangs as enemies. Bosco's Gang out of the D.B. Technical High School, The Forged out of Saugus Ironworks and the Disciples out of Nuka-World. He was also wanted by the Institute and Super Mutants. For more points Daniel chose two different Geasses bringing his total points up to zero.

Daniel stared at his list of powers, numbering fourteen in total. Seven permanent on top of Power Manipulation and seven temporary powers at a time. Overall he felt satisfied with his choices.

"Very well if these are what you want."Ano said. "Be sure to entertain me Daniel...Live well and prosper."

Immediately after reading that the the chair Daniel was sitting on disappeared and he was swallowed by the floor.

With a jerk Daniel woke up, heart pounding.

"Shit." Daniel gasped, pressing his hand to his chest.

Looking around Daniel found himself alone and his heart dropped. Wherever he was he sure the hell wasn't in his bedroom anymore. Around him was a very dusty, slightly dilapidated bedroom. Parts of the walls were missing, along with the windows, the carpet was ragged and torn up in places. Daniel wrinkled his nose at the smell of must, mold and some kind of rot.

"Hello? Is anyone there?" Daniel called out only to jump when he felt a wet nose pressing against his hand. Daniel yelped and fell out of the bed. Groaning from the floor Daniel tried to sit up. Sitting on the floor staring at him blankly was a black and brown rottweiler. Daniel stared before he smacked his head.

"Alpha, Alpha, 02-09-97." Daniel said.

"Code acknowledged, awaiting orders." A garbled female digitized voice spoke.

Daniel grimaced.

"Well shit." He said. "This unit's name is Calypso. Duties are to offer companionship and to protect me and those I designate. Acknowledge."

"Unit designation Calypso acknowledged. New orders acknowledged."

"Return to normal function. Alpha 01." Daniel ordered.

Like a switch being flipped the synth-dog relaxed and started panting happily at seeing him. She barked and rushed forward to lick Daniel's hand. Running his hands over the dog he marveled at how life-like the dog was. Looking at the boxes and crates piled in his room Daniel decided to check out the supplies his benefactor had left him. Several boxes held his clothes, camping supplies and various toiletries. His most important finds aside from his laptop were several weapons he had wanted, with ammo, and most most important of all, a working Pip-Boy.

"I'm holding a Pip-Boy." Daniel whispered as he picked it up reverently.

Turning it over in his hands Daniel inspected every bit of it. Finally he laid his left arm inside and strapped it on. Flicking the power button Daniel watched in anticipation as it turned on. The screen flickered before the Pip-Boy started letting out a whirring noise. The screen suddenly lit up with showing the Vault-Boy giving him a thumbs up. A bright smile stretched over Daniel's features and he could help but let out a giddy laugh. Daniel watched it go through the loading screen before it started scanning him. Finally the normal screen you saw appeared. Flipping through the different options you might swear there were almost literal stars in Daniel's eyes.

A whine brought his attention back to the present with a jerk.

"Later baby." Daniel whispered rubbing the Pip-Boy affectionately.

As Daniel looked through more the boxes Calypso nosed inside them, sniffing everything causing Daniel to chuckle. Opening one of the boxes Daniel grinned before he opened one of the boxes inside the last one. Calypso's ears perked up as she heard the crinkling of packaging being opened before her tail started wagging when she smelled a treat. She huffed excitedly, bouncing slightly.

"Sit." Daniel ordered. Calypso's rump hit the floor obediently but she watched Daniel with anticipation, tracking the treat with her eyes.

"Good girl." Daniel said, tossing her the treat which Calypso crunched through in two bites before licked her lips. Grabbing another one Daniel held it out for her to take. "Easy."

Calypso gently took the treat from Daniel's fingers before eating it.

"Who's a good girl?" Daniel cooed as rubbed Calypso's ears, causing her back leg to start thumping on the floor. Daniel grinned, he loved dogs and had owned several over the years, all different breeds from little dogs to large rottweilers.

Daniel looked around the room and took a deep breath before he walked over and locked the door, thankful that it still worked. Walking back to the center of the room Daniel took a deep breath. Focusing on his breathing as his power instructed him Daniel focused on his permanent power slots. In the first slot Daniel pushed in a power called Manipulation. Full knowledge of the power, it's sub-powers and how to use them flowed into his mind. Daniel chose the sub-power Reset. The power allowed him to reset things to their original design, effectively repairing them. When using the power he would be able to 'see' a timeline/history of it's existence and choose where to reset it to. If the parts of what he was repairing were nearby the power would use them but it could also draw raw matter from another dimension and turn it into what was needed.

A flash of light erupted from his hand before time seemed to rewind inside the bedroom. Calypso made a confused noise but stayed calm. Dirt, dust, cobwebs and grime disappeared quickly while torn and faded wallpaper and paint turned to new, holes being filled in. All of the metal fixtures gleamed like new while the carpeted filled out and softened. The off-gray carpet took on a nice cream color even as the bed repaired itself with a groan whilst the mattress and pillows filling out. Making his way into the attached bathroom Daniel frowned at the dirt and grime that had built up. Several of tiles on the floor, walls and bathtub were cracked and tub was quite rusted. The wallpaper had molded and was hanging off in places. Calling on Reset again Daniel grinned as the process repeated itself. Soon enough the bathroom was clean enough to eat off the floor if someone wanted to. Not that he ever desired to do that.

Stepping back into his room Daniel opened a crate labeled guns Daniel and pulled out what he recognized to be a 12.7mm pistol. Daniel had chosen it because it was one of his favorite pistols in the Fallout series aside from the 10mm pistol even if it was a lot harder to find ammo for it. Luckily he had powers to take of that. Hefting it in his hands it was a bit heavier than Daniel thought it would be but it wasn't bad. Grabbing a holster attached to a belt he slid it on before tightening it. Grabbing a box of ammo which read 12.7mm ammunition, 50 ct. on the side Daniel slid it open. Knowledge on gun handling and safety came to the front of his mind as he released the magazine from the gun. Slowly and methodically Daniel loaded the gun before holstering. Pulling it out a couple of times he quickly adjusted it to where he felt most comfortable.

Walking through the house, Calypso leading the way, Daniel discovered it to be an old three bedroom two and half story farmhouse. The house had a living room, a big kitchen, an office, a mudroom/laundry room, two and half bathrooms with all three bedrooms and two full bathrooms being upstairs. As he walked through the house he continuously used his new power, repairing the house as he went.

In the living room the wooden floors lightened and turned polished, furniture snapped back together and cleaned itself while a rug partially rewove itself. The river stone and concrete fireplace flowed back together, glass flowed into window panes, cracks filling themselves in with the mantle losing any sign of rot. Overhead a brass and deer horn chandelier gleamed like new, fresh candles taking their places around it. Deciding to try out his furniture Daniel rushed over to the now tan couch and bounced on it a couple of times before he tried out the two overstuffed armchairs. He quickly discovered that they all clearly been chosen for comfort rather than just looks. He sunk in pleasantly in each piece of furniture, just how he liked it.

"Nice." He said.

Walking into the kitchen Daniel found it in fairly decent, if neglected, condition. Still he repaired everything, getting rid of the dirt and grime. The small wooden table was cleaned and repaired, freshly sanded before it was polished. The four wooden chairs, two of which had collapsed received the same treatment. Walking over to the refrigerator he smiled. It looked like a refrigerator right out when he was young. Unlike modern refrigerators it was a whole unit instead of having a separate fridge/freezer. It was also sturdier and was actually made to last a long time. After finishing in the mudroom which also held the washer and dryer Daniel turned to the door leading to the basement, Calypso happily leading the way.

At first glance it was a perfectly normal finished basement full of junk stored by homeowners who no longer wanted it cluttering the house but didn't necessarily want to get rid of it. Also down there was a power generator. Daniel flipped the switch on the side and pushed the power button only for nothing to happen. Pushing it a couple more times didn't work either. Shaking his head Daniel used Reset to return it to brand new condition but even that didn't work. About to slot one of his other powers in Daniel slapped the side of his head.

"D'oh!" He exclaimed to himself with a chortle.

Getting an idea Daniel leaned forward and saw that the liquid gas reserve was empty. Looking around it took him a couple of minutes to find some tall, skinny red gas cans. Excitedly shaking it Daniel could hear liquid splashing around inside. After a moment of thought his shoulders slumped in disappointment.

"Surely it's no longer any good." Daniel muttered before he remembered one of his powers and resisted the urge to slap himself. "You've got to remember you've got powers now you idgit."

Reaching for his powers again Daniel focused on two other sub-powers under Manipulation, Refresh and Duplication. Refresh could be used to get rid of bad smells, refresh the air, make things smell good, and most importantly, it could be used to recharge or refresh old or spoiled things. Things like fusion cores, food and most importantly at the moment gasoline, making it edible or viable again. Duplication was frankly a fairly broken power but one Daniel was really glad he had been able to create and keep. It allowed him to create more of a substance or object that was completely identical to the original. It could even duplicate food that would be just as nutritious as it's original. The power did have two limitations though, it couldn't duplicate living beings and any eggs produced with it couldn't be fertilized.

Focusing Daniel refreshed the gasoline causing it to start releasing fumes before he used Duplication and filled it completely too the top. Quickly grabbing a nearby funnel Daniel started pouring the gas into the generator. Watching the gauge Daniel grinned as it quickly climbed to full after he emptied two cans worth of gas into it. Closing everything back up Daniel took a deep breath before he pressed flipped the switch again and hit the power button. The generator coughed a couple of times before it started humming. Lights flickered overhead before turning on completely, illuminating the basement.

A nearby radio even clicked on.

"Atom bomb baby, little atom bomb. I want her in my wigwam.. "

Daniel's Pip-Boy chimed several times bringing his attention to it. 'Hidden Bunker Detected.' flashed over the screen. Walking around the basement caused to chiming to speed up. Making his way around the basement Daniel picked his way through the boxes and shelves. Finally he saw it partially concealed behind some shelving, a thick black metal door. Beside it was a glowing red hand scanner. Daniel quickly slid the shelf out of the way. Holding his breath he laid his hand on the scanner. The lock beeped twice before turning green. Several locks unlocking inside the door squealed as they were moved for the first time in over two centuries before the door swung open.

Daniel blinked as he looked around, apparently this was the hidden part of his base. Unlike the rest of the house this part of his base actually looked brand new. The first area was actually a lounge with a couch, love seat, some chairs and shelves. Sitting on one wall was his entertainment center with shelves holding all his movies and video games. One doorway branching off held a decent sized kitchen while another was a bathroom with a toilet, two sinks and a shower/tub combo.

Walking into the kitchen Daniel inspected it. It was full of nice pots and pans, any knife he could want and just about any appliance. The fridge, a large stainless steel one, was filled with food and drinks. Opening a stainless steel door on the wall revealed a large walk-in freezer filled with food. The cabinets were all filled with dishes and many of his favorite treats and snacks causing him to grin.

A long hallway was through the other doorway. Walking down it Daniel spied several doors.

The first room was actually a storage room. Shelves full of supplies lined the walls. Food, cans of fruit juice, water and alcohol sat beside boxes of seeds for many different kinds of vegetables, fruit, herbs and spices in sealed boxes. The next room turned out to be a fully stocked infirmary which Daniel did not spend much time in.

The next room seemed to modeled after an overseers office, if a bit warmer. Inside were several metal filing cabinets, a little wet bar with a mini-fridge and several tables. A couch sat on one wall for when he felt like relaxing Sitting in the middle of the room with a couple of chairs sitting in front of it was a desk. What a desk it was too! It was huge and looked like it belonged in some highly paid executives office. Sitting on it was his laptop and a Fallout-Style computer looking brand spanking new. Sitting behind it was a large, deeply cushioned desk chair that looked sinfully comfortable.

Walking over to the desk his Pip-Boy beeped and the Fallout computer booted up. His Pip-Boy beeped. 'Download in Progress' flashed across the screen before it was replaced by schematics for the bunker. Daniel blinked in surprise. The bunker was bigger than he thought. It was actually had two and half levels. Taking a seat behind his desk Daniel almost groaned. He was glad to say that his expectations of the chair were spot on. Clicking through the computer Daniel read several logs before he found an option to open a safe.

Do I want to open a previously closed safe? Daniel asked himself. Duh!

Quickly hitting enter there was a slight grinding noise as part of the wall sunk back into the wall before sliding to the side revealing a large metal safe behind it. His Pip-Boy beeped before the screen showed a number pad. Typing in a pass-code Flinn quickly entered it before doing so again. The light on the safe flashed before the door opened. Sitting inside was stacks and stacks of wrapped bottle caps, currency creatively called Caps with plenty of room left. Counting them revealed there to be two hundred bundles of fifty caps, a total of ten thousand Caps a more than decent fortune in the Fallout-Verse alongside them was a note explaining that the safe would refill itself when he ran out of Caps. Shutting the safe door Daniel watched the door reappear before it sealed itself. Looking closely at the wall he couldn't even see the seam for the hidden door.

The next room Daniel discovered was actually a bar/game room. There was a long bar along with a couple of card tables, a couple of dart boards on the wall and full sized pool table. The end of the hallway split off into a 'T'. The left side of the 'T' consisted of several small bedroom suites while the right side of the 'T' was taken up by a large, empty trophy room on one side and a theater room with a huge screen. Two sets of stairs led down to the second level one on each end of the 'T'. The second level was different from the first as it was actually one long hallway with no branches.

On one side of the second level were the four labs. One for Chemistry, one for Weapons & Armor, a Hydroponics lab and a Tech lab with an attached to a storage room full of electronic parts, metals and different fabrics. The other side of second level held a large training hall that could be used to test his powers or work out which contained some futuristic looking testing machines Secondly there was an armory and a firing range. The last level was revealed to contain a room containing a large HVAC machine, a huge water tank with a purifier/reclamation plant and behind a very secure door was the reactor room.

A/N: Just a little idea that came to me to combine two of my favorite fandoms. My MC might be a bit overpowered but I love a good OP!MC but of course he won't be all powerful or all knowing.
