Thanks for the reviews on the last one everyone, as for Molly in particular, I can see what I can do about longer chapters, but weekly is not going to happen, sorry. I barely get time to write as is sadly. I've also got fics that are a decade old I'd like to one day return too, I just write when/if an idea strikes. Only reason this has an update is I promised myself I'd update it at least once more before season 3 dropped. This fic will get updates, as regularly as I can, but I find giving a confirmed date always ends in failure, so I can't do that. Thank you all for reading the fics though, I do appreciate it, every review warms my heart, even ones that tell me my work is awful, and, just a secret for you all, I tend to try update fics with more views and reviews sooner, as I like to give the people what they want when I can, so help boost the numbers and the chapters will flow more often.

"Sammy!" Yaz cried, seeing her on the floor. She rushed over to her friend, putting her fingers to the other woman's neck, and letting out a sigh of relief when she felt a pulse there. "Sammy, please, please wake up, I'm so, so, sorry!" Yaz wept, an ache in her chest all of a sudden. She felt like there was a hole inside of her, a well that was suddenly emptying as she looked in Sammy's broken form on the ground, unresponsive.

"Please, Sammy, please wake!" Yaz called out again, gently cupping her face, putting her ear to her mouth, relief washing over her when she felt breath rising out of her mouth. "Oh, God, I'm so sorry, Sammy, please, I wasn't thinking, please, please, wake up!"

Yaz cried to herself, wondering what she could do, she couldn't move Sammy, not by herself, but she couldn't leave her to get the others, what if a dinosaur came from out of the darkness, Sammy would be defenceless. She had to wake her up, somehow.

"Yaz?" A voice weakly called out behind her, turning around, she saw Sammy, sluggishly moving, her eyes barely open as she called out in a weakened voice.

"Sammy?! Oh, thank God you're alright!" Yaz cried out, feeling the tears flowing as she hurried down to Sammy, kneeling next to her and grabbing her in a hug, Sammy looked shocked and confused, but she let herself sink into the hug, moving her arms around Yaz in return.

"What happened?" Sammy asked, voice cracking and disorientated. Yaz looked here over, seeing the mark where the cattle prod had zapped Sammy, her bruises from hitting the floor and a small cut on her head from an impact.

"I'm so, so, sorry, Sammy, I was worried for you, I hadn't heard from you, then I heard a noise and turned, thinking there was another dinosaur behind us, and I struck out without looking and I'm so sorry and -" Sammy cut her off with a hug, weakly throwing her arms around Yaz's neck to cut off the babbling.

"Shut up Yaz, you silly moo. I didn't warn you I was coming up behind you, did I? That's on me." Sammy told her, putting her fingers to Yaz's lips before she could interject. "So, it's on me, not you."

"I guess so..." Yaz trailed off, trying to fight a blush that was crawling up her face with Sammy so close to her, having her arms around her.

"So, can you help me up?" Sammy asked. "We need to get back to the others."

"Yeah...yeah we do." Yaz agreed, trailing off, lost in thought.

"I'm a very busy man, what do you want from me?" Mr Kon asked, glaring at Roxie and Dave from across his desk.

"I'll cut to the chase, my bro-" Dave started before Roxie elbowed him, taking over as Kenji's father's eye began to twitch and his frown deepened.

"Mr Kon, we know it's been a difficult few months, it has been for all of us, but I'm just going to come out and say it. We believe Kenji and the other campers may still be alive." Roxie explained, as Kon furrowed his brow.

"W...What do you want me to say to that?" He asked, his eyes darkening with rage. How dare they? These people, they were supposed to care for his son, for everyone in that camp. How dare they betray that trust, let the kids die, and now come to him, lying to him, giving him false hope, for their own sick ends? He would give anything to see Kenji again, the boy may be a screw-up, but he was his son, his heir, and one day, Kenji would have inherited everything, the business empire, all of it. Now, that was gone. His extended family circled like vultures, knowing he had no children, and these upstarts wanted him to waste his funds on some fools errand, to sate their own sick perversions?

"We need your help. We've tried governments in Costa Rica and the United States. We want to see, we know they were alive before the evacuation, we think it was just a matter of them not getting to the boats on time. We're sure they survived, they're resourceful. Please, Mr Kon, you're the only hope we have left, the only hope of bringing Kenji safely home." Roxie pleaded with him, as Kon thought it over. It was madness, sure, but if there was even a remote chance that these two weren't lying, that Kenji was alive?

"Alright. I'll finance an expedition. You two can come along, but I'll be there to oversee it personally." Mr Kon told them in no uncertain terms, as the two of them smiled and agreed to it. Finally, they may have a chance to save the kids after all.

"Yaz, are you two alright?" Darius asked as Yaz helped Sammy back to the camp, rousing the others as she cried out to help.

"I'm fine, but Sammy needs help!" Yaz cried out, as Kenji and Darius hurried over to support Sammy, helping her into their makeshift camp.

"What happened to her?" Ben asked as they sat Sammy down, covering her over in everything they could think of to try keep her warm, hoping it would help.

"I got surprised by her, and attacked with the prod, thinking it was a dinosaur." Yaz cried.

"Yaz, how could you?" Brooklynn asked, shocked.

"It was an accident!" Sammy protested, speaking up for the first time since they had returned. "Yaz didn't mean to do it, it was my fault if anything, we already spoke about it. It's done." Sammy told them with a note of finality.

The others looked concerned but nodded, as Yaz looked gratefully at Sammy, who smiled at her. Yaz could feel her stomach doing somersaults again at that.

"Either way, what are we going to do? With Sammy down, Yaz still not one hundred percent fit, we're down another person on supply runs and guard duty." Kenji complained.

"We'll have to extend shifts on guard, stay in one place and don't forage too far until they're back on their feet." Darius frowned at him. "We can do it though, we're all together, after all, we can do anything together, I think we've proven that by now." He laughed, and the others joined in.

Later, Yaz found herself sat down by Sammy as Kenji and Ben moved onto watch with Bumpy, and Darius and Brooklyn headed back for a few hours of sleep.

"How are you?" She asked Sammy softly, who gave her a small smile in response.

"I'll live." Sammy laughed quietly. "How are you, Yaz?" She asked, looking at Yaz, who looked away from her.

"I could have killed you, Sammy!" Yaz protested. "I hurt you, and you could have died, and if you had, you wouldn't have gotten home, wouldn't have seen your family again, and that would have been on me, it would have been me who stopped you, me who had to live with it, and I can't, I couldn't do that." Yaz was crying at this point, trying to get across her guilt, how sorry she was to Sammy, why she didn't mean it, how she would do better, until she felt herself being pulled into a hug, not protesting it this time, letting it happen, knowing it would give Sammy as much comfort as it would her, if not more.

"But you didn't, Yaz." Sammy said after an age, pulling back from the hug. "That's the important thing, you could have done all of that, but you didn't." She smiled at her, staring into Yaz's eyes, before leaning in, and pressing her lips against the older girls, as Yaz froze for a moment, before leaning into it.

Since this is my first post season 2 update, I'm gonna say it. Mitch and Tiff were bad villains, the same as Fyers in Arrow season 1. Why would you find people on a deserted island, especially people who see you as potential saviours, offering you fame and riches for helping, and decide "Must kill!" At least Fyers already had employment and needed no witnesses. Mitch and Tiff could have gained so much more by keeping the kids on side and deciding to actually save them after their hunting trip, instead of lying about it and planning to kill them.
