Claire's POV

I woke up with sunlight in my eyes. I turned over and saw Gloria beside me. Her hair was glistening with the sunlight against it. Her hair cascaded over her closed eyes and her shoulder. She had a soft smile on her lips. She looked absolutely gorgeous. I smiled and placed a soft kiss on her forehead. I got up and went to take a shower. This is your last day with her. I thought to myself. I wanted to be with Gloria and I had enjoyed my time with her this weekend but our time had come to an end. I wish I had told her how I felt about her sooner. I heard Gloria open the door of the bathroom and she got into the shower. She hugged me from behind and placed a soft kiss on my shoulder.

"Good morning Claire." She said. I smiled as I looked down. I turned around and kissed her gently.

"Good morning." I said. I wrapped my arms around her neck and placed me chin on her shoulder. Gloria placed her hands on my hips and pulled me closer. I closed my eyes. We stood there in silence as the warm water showered us.

"I'm gonna miss this." Gloria said breaking the silence. "I'm gonna miss us." Gloria said as she looked at me. "I'm going to miss you." She said. She placed a soft, unrushed kiss on my lips.

"I going to miss you too Gloria," I said breaking the kiss. "I love you." I realized what I had said. It didn't matter though, all I knew was that I loved Gloria, even if she didn't feel the same way. She smiles innocently.

"I love you too." She places a soft chaste kiss on my lips. We stood there quietly, in silence. So many things were running through my head I just wanted to focus on 1, Gloria. All of a sudden, someone knocked on the door interrupting my thoughts. I looked at Gloria and the person at the door knocked again but louder. I quickly got out, grabbed a random robe and opened the door. It was Alex.

"Oh Hi Alex." I said in shock. What was she doing here?

"Hi Mom," She said as she let herself into the room. She sat on my bed as I stared at her.

"Is something wrong?" I asked. She shook her head. "Oh uh then why are you here?" She glared at me. "Honey, you know I love you but I just didn't expect to see you here." I said.

"What happened? " I asked. She looked back at me.

"Okay so I need some advice. There is this boy-" Alex said until she was interrupted.

Gloria came into the room wearing her red laced bra and underwear. She stopped walking when she saw Alex.

"OH MY GOD GLORIA!" I yelled to make up some random cover. Alex gasped. I stepped in front of Alex so she couldn't see Gloria.

"I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE IN HERE!" Gloria yelled back as she scrambled to grab a robe that was on closest to her.

"I'm gonna leave and talk to Alex outside while you get changed here. I'll knock when I'm back." I said as I grabbed Alex and lead her outside of the room. I looked back at Gloria. I bit the air and winked at her and she chuckled. I closed the door and lead Alex further down the hall. When we stopped she gave me a weird look. I ignored it but I knew that she knew something.

"So? What is it? What is the advice you need?" I asked as I crossed my arms.

"You know what? Nevermind." She said as she slowly started to turn around and walk away.
"No,no no. You said that you needed advice so what is it? You didn't come all this way for no reason." I insisted.

"I'll just ask Uncle Mitch or Haley." She said.

"There is a reason you didn't call. What happened? What is it?" I said.

"Mom, I'll just ask someone else. Relax and enjoy the rest of you trip." She said. Then she looked back at me and gave the weird look that she did earlier. "I know what happened." She whispered. "I'm not gonna tell anyone but don't act like you don't know what happened." She said.

"Wait, What?" I asked. Maybe she is talking about something else. Just act like you truly don't know. I was in shock but I had to act like I was clueless.

"Don't act like you don't know."

"No Alex, I actually don't know what you are talking about."

"Sure you don't."

"Alex tell me what it is. I don't know what you're talking about." I said. She tilted her head as if she was actually wrong and as if I didn't know what was happening.

"Wait you don't actually know what I'm talking about?" She said. I shook my head.

"Not at all." She looked at me with a confused gaze. "So what is it?"

"Oh, Uh- Dad." She said truing to make something up. I knew she was lying to me but I wasn't gonna make a whole thing out of it. She almost caught me. "He is just cleaning up some stuff at home. I think I'm gonna go now." She said as she walked off.

"Bye Alex." I said as she walked down the hall. She just waved back.

Gloria's POV

After last night I could barely sleep. I thought about this would mean for me, for Claire, for the whole family. It would be kind of weird and awkward we have family dinners but it would be worth it. All of a sudden Claire opened the door, closed it and leaned on it. She looked like something traumatizing had just happened to her.

"Claire are you okay?" I said as I approached her. "What happened, what did Alex say?"

"We've been caught." She said as she makes eye contact with me.
