who told you capes were a good idea?

「ケープはいいアイデアだと誰が言ったのですか?」

It wasn't just the red-eyed male who came out through the portal. Many other characters followed, each individual looking more and more pitiful and neglected than the last. More so, they all had something in common. They all wore faces of pure spite as if they were ready to kill everyone there without so much as hesitation or a feeling of remorse. To everyone that watched down as the large numbers piled in, the more it settled to them that they were villains that had planned an attack on them.

Aizawa was the first to engage in combat, his scarf and hair flying loose as he jumped down to the villains, despite the protests of Midoriya, who was concerned about the wellbeing of his Sensei. To his relief, however, Aizawa was able to take care of their firing squad without breaking a sweat.

"Everyone stay calm and stick together." Thirteen instructed. Yaoyorozu and Todoroki were able to back up that this was a planned attack when the alarms weren't sounding. Kaminari was instructed to try and use his Quirk to contact a Yuuei staff member, only for there to be total interference.

The class began following Thirteen as instructed, breaking off into a sprint toward the entrance of the school. Just as they made it to the stairs that connected Central Plaza to the Entrance, Thirteen abruptly stopped and halted the students. The portal from before appeared before them, this time manifesting itself into an actual body-like form. Now, it was slender, with yellow eyes as sharp as lightning bolts, and in the shape of such thing, too.

"Pleasure to meet you. We are the League Of Villains," the voice spoke, a deep male voice that seemed to echo around them. "We know it's impolite, but we decided to invite ourselves into this haven of justice to say hello. And besides, isn't this fitting for All Might, the Symbol Of Peace, to take his last breath? I believe he was supposed to be here today and yet I see no sign of him. There must've been some change in plans we could not have foreseen."

"You. You're Kurogiri, aren't you?" Akagawa asked from the crowd, earning a slight panic expression from the portal villain. Akagawa pushed past his peers until Kurogiri could get a look at him. "I've heard so many things about you. Is it true what they say? Do you kiss Shigaraki's ass?"

Kurogiri's eye seemed to twitch. "I see. You must be Masu."

"Don't call me that." Akagawa snapped, his tone serious and demanding unlike when he had initially spoken. He smirked again. "Unless you want to kiss someone's ass."

"You're as unpleasant as he says you are..." Kurogiri said with disgust in his voice. "I knew our encounter would come, however, so I welcome an audience with you, little Vampire."

"Is this outfit that noticeable?" Akagawa peered down at his outfit. "Well, I'm glad you welcome me. I have a vast set of skills that are sure to keep your attention."

"Akagawa!" Kirishima exclaimed in concern.

"Don't!" Thirteen demanded.

"Listen, I don't know what's going on, but you can't fight, Akagawa!" Midoriya exclaimed and rushed to the frontline, grabbing hold of Akagawa's arm. Midoriya sharply gasped in upon looking up at those emerald eyes. Akagawa's lips were snarled, his eyes crinkled as they narrowed, and his eyes were small yet wide as the pupil fixated on Midoriya, a swirling green sea of anger and hatred all directed at Midoriya.

"Get lost." Akagawa spat, yanking Midoriya off him. Midoriya staggered back in fear, new to the feeling of pure unbridled rage that had consumed his thoughts. Kirishima and Bakugou were quick to assess the situation by standing in front of Akagawa.

"You're not doing this alone!" Kirishima exclaimed. "This is a group effort! We're a class, aren't we!?"

Bakugou only peered at Akagawa until his eyes settled back onto Kurogiri. "I'll take him down. You're an idiot if you think you get to have all the pleasure of destroying this asshole."

"I said get lost," Akagawa repeated his earlier statement, activating his Quirk. He used his energy outside the body to create waves of negative emotions, sending it out and planting it inside of everyone's body. All Class 1-A students froze, even select few like Uraraka that began shaking. The students and Thirteen, even Kurogiri, were exposed to an unprecedented amount of negative energy. An intense feeling of sadness and rage consumed their bodies and forced them into a frozen and heavy state.

While most of 1-A, even Thirteen and Kurogiri analyzing this power, Bakugou was the first to snap out of it and grab Akagawa by the collar of his red cloak, pulling him closer and glaring into his eyes angrily.

"Bastard...!" Bakugou growled.

To both of their surprises, it was Midoriya who edged himself between the two, stopping any further altercation. Akagawa only continued to glare until Midoriya looked up into his eyes, revealing tears threatening to stream down his cheeks. He clenched his jaw as he spoke.

"Akagawa...please...release your Quirk!" Midoriya pleaded through gritted teeth. Akagawa could feel his power lessen the more he looked between Midoriya, Bakugou, Kurogiri, and the rest of Class 1-A. He huffed and released his Quirk, watching as most of his classmates wiped their tears over the overwhelming feeling.

"What the hell was that?" Bakugou growled. Akagawa found himself unable to muster any words toward the spiky ash blond glaring at him from just an inch or two away from him.

"Your inner turmoil makes you stronger physically yet damaged mentally. What an interesting set of skills you have."

"Shut up!" Akagawa demanded angrily, Midoriya being the only one that held him back as he attempted to make a weapon out of energy then and there. Thirteen was quick to regain her senses and stop Akagawa from making any further altercation. Akagawa growled.

"Akagawa, no matter what this villain and you have going on, you are a Yuuei student!" Thirteen told him. Akagawa glared at her and summoned his scythe. "Akagawa!"

"Get out of my way," Akagawa demanded. "I don't give a crap about Yuuei. What I care about is making sure that Kurogiri dies and the League knows who did it. That he knows."

"I'm afraid our talk is over," Kurogiri said, making Akagawa narrow his eyes dangerously at the villain. He readied his scythe and sprung into the air at the male, so quick that no one could react quick enough to stop him. However, purple mist surrounded their bodies in that instance. By the time that Akagawa was able to see anything again, he found himself ten feet in the air above a large body of water.

Akagawa plummeted into the water in a growing panic, his weapon vanishing as soon as he splashed into the water, closing his hands to brace himself. His sides hurt from the impact but he believed he was relatively well. Looking around, he noticed some villains swimming around. Most of them were water mutant types, all wearing a look and handling weapons ready to hurt Akagawa.

Akagawa was quick to summon a shield to protect himself against these creatures. As they were about to make their advances onto Akagawa, something awkwardly warm wrapped around his torso and hoisted him out of the water. Akagawa took giant inhales, happy to be out from underwater. He felt someone pressed against him.

"Tsu?" he asked the frog girl beside him. "That's your tongue that's on me, isn't it...?"

"Sorry," Asui said. "It's the best thing I have."

"Akagawa!" Midoriya shouted from above. It was then that Akagawa noticed the ship sitting on the pool of water. Midoriya was on said pool, his hair still wet, signaling he must've been saved by Asui, too. Akagawa then noticed the villains begin swimming after the two in the water.

"Tsu!" Akagawa warned. Asui wasted no time in using her tongue to stretch Akagawa onto the ship like she did Midoriya. Well, due to the circumstances, the more accurate description would be that she threw him onto the ship.

Akagawa found himself blind by some wet cloth being over his head. He grimaced from the uncomfortable wet feeling and quickly grabbed the thing on his head. "Stupid cloak!" he exclaimed when he realized that's what it was.

It was then that Akagawa heard a pop from underneath him. He had popped Midoriya's back. Akagawa landed onto Midoriya without any say in the matter, making Midoriya's drenching body be pinned to the ground with Akagawa, as equally drenched, sitting atop his back.

"Uh, sorry. Should'a made way," Akagawa said and got off of Midoriya, who coughed a little bit due to the sudden impact. "Your own fault, there, Midori."

"S-Sorry..."

Asui met them on the ship by crawling the side of the ship. The villains circled the boat, surprisingly waiting to attack the three Yuuei students aboard the ship. "This is turning out to be a terrible day of class," Asui commented.

"Kurogiri has teleportation abilities." Akagawa sighed. "Well, more like portals. I should've expected that. Shit. We should take out Kurogiri before anyone else."

"That villain is how they were able to bypass the alarms?" Midoriya questioned lowly in thought.

"We should focus on different things," Asui said. "Think everybody else got placed somewhere, too?"

Midoriya nodded. "They must've gotten into school files while we were panicking about the alarm...that's the only way they would know our schedule, hoping to kill All Might. That means they've been waiting for the perfect time to strike."

"Doubt it," Akagawa commented. "If they saw school files, then why did they put Tsu here? Plus, All Might is the Number One Hero. The Symbol of Peace. These are just some villains that have recruited low lives."

"I don't understand? Akagawa, what exactly are you saying?" Midoriya questioned. "Tsu...are you talking about our student files?"

"Duh. Think about it. If they can get their hands on schedule plans, they can get their hands on student files. But they didn't. Why would they put Tsu in a water zone, given her Quirk? Doesn't make much sense. The only reason I'm here is probably because he told Kurogiri about my Quirk...although the fire zone would've been more effective. Maybe they're just stupid." Akagawa shrugged.

"That doesn't make sense." Asui thought. "Akagawa has a point. Maybe...maybe there's a traitor?"

"What!?" Midoriya asked in disbelief.

"Nah," Akagawa trailed. "I mean, maybe, but in this situation that also doesn't make sense. A traitor would know our abilities better than anyone. These villains were probably just careless. They didn't think some students would be a big deal."

"They came here to kill All Might, and didn't see us students as threats," Midoriya said. "But, as Akagawa said, All Might is the strongest hero. He's won from bigger opponents before."

"See? They're just stupid. I expected more from the League of Villains. Guess they're just accepting anyone now." Akagawa crossed his arms. Midoriya and Asui eyed the redhead a bit.

"Maybe they think they can do it," Asui spoke. "If they came here like we think they did, so confidently, it means that they probably have a plan they're positive will work on killing All Might. And didn't you hear what that smoke guy said? I think we should worry about ourselves right now. Otherwise, we may never live to see All Might again. And even if he does show up, who knows if he'll make it out in one piece."

Akagawa and Midoriya gave Asui concerned looks. "Y'know, that's kinda depressing, Tsu." Akagawa then chuckled softly. "I guess I did expect something closer to that. Finding a way to kill All Might. To find such a weakness... Well, that just goes to show how All Might is becoming weaker these days!"

"Weaker...?" Midoriya seemed bothered by the statement. He looked down at his gloved fists in thought. He looked distressed, Akagawa noticed.

"Well, not to worry! We're gonna be just fine." Akagawa exclaimed, earning a head tilt from Asui and Midoriya.

"What makes you say that? You have a plan?" Asui asked.

"Sure I do." Akagawa smirked. "We can use their arrogance to our advantage. They don't know our abilities, right? Why do you still think those idiotic villains down there are still waiting patiently? They don't know our abilities! They're cautious."

"Akagawa's right," Midoriya said, breaking his once fearful exterior and clapping his hands together determinedly. "They've probably separated us because of this, too. We should work together. Defeat these villains and then assist everybody else!"

"So let's talk Quirks. I'll go first, if you want." Asui began, with no objections. "I can jump high, and cling to pretty much any wall. And of course, there's my tongue. I can stick it out about twenty meters. Oh, yeah, and I can spit out my stomach so I can clean it...that's not really useful. Finally, I can also create a toxic mucus. It just stings a bit. We can probably only use my jumping or tongue here. Forget about the last things."

"That's actually pretty cool," Akagawa commented.

"I figured you were powerful, but that's amazing. I have my super-strength, but it comes with a price. Once I use it, I'm pretty much out of commission. It's a double-edged sword until I can control it." Midoriya said.

"I convert emotions into energy. To be specific, it has to be a negative emotion. The energy I create goes to my body, giving me high adrenaline levels so I can run faster, punch harder, and feel less pain. If I get too much, though, I basically have a stroke. I can also shape the energy outside my body. I can only have two out at once, and if I close my hand, they immediately disappear. While it can't be an actual material, it's still sharp when thin, like my signature scythe. I cannot change it once it is outside my body. And I can also only make smaller things. My scythe is the biggest. I have some abilities, like the whole spread negative emotions thing from earlier."

"Negative emotions only?" Asui asked. "You've always used your Quirk at will." Asui pointed out.

"And always so strongly..." Midoriya trailed in concern.

"I guess intensity may play a small part in how strong it comes out, but not particularly," Akagawa responded. "At any rate, you should just shut up already and think of a plan. Those idiots down there have to pick up their balls and fight us at some point."

Suddenly, a giant hand made out of water hit the boat, rocking the three onto their knees as the villain had gotten bored of waiting for them to make the first move. This caused a puncture in the boat, making it begin to sink. Akagawa looked between his peers as he wondered if they were going to come up with a plan. They were out of time.

He sighed. "Follow my lead," Akagawa smirked. "Heya, uglies! Sorry for the wait, we were just wondering what to do in two minutes when you're all beaten up!"

"The hell you say!?" Villains growled. "You're dead, kid!"

"Akagawa!?" Midoriya shouted in surprise.

"Just let me round them up all nice and cozy for you, Midori. It'll only take a second." Akagawa told the green boy, who nodded hesitantly. Without a second thought, Akagawa jumped into the water but instead landed on a platform made out of energy. He went a little way around from the boat and stood atop the platform.

"Get 'em!" The villains charged after him.

"Ooh, can't get me!" Akagawa taunted as some of the villains threw harpoons and others actively tried to grab the boy as he moved the platform back and forth to dodge them. "Nope! Ah, ah, not quite! You're almost there! Oop, just missed me!"

"Gotchya!" a villain exclaimed. Akagawa winced as he was brought backwards violently. He grabbed his cloak that was around his neck and used his adrenaline to keep his feet firmly planted onto the platform. He tried his best not to let the cloak choke his neck.

"Stupid fuckin' cloak!" he growled ad he undid the clasp that connected the cloak to the front of his collar bone. The cloak sent itself and the villain into the water. "Next person to do something like that is gonna fuckin' die, you hear me?"

Akagawa caught something in the corner of his eye. Akagawa then smirked and lifted himself further into the air with the platform. "It was fun. Not really."

The villains saw a shadow overcast them and looked up in fear to see a purple-sizzling Midoriya in mid-air, winding up a punch. Akagawa quickly floated toward Asui, taking her aboard his platform. The water splashed and the current became dangerously quick. Asui used her tongue to pull Midoriya out as the water turned into a whirlpool that the villains could not escape from.

"Nick work." Akagawa patted Midoriya's drenched shoulder. He grimaced and wiped his wet hand onto his pants. Midoriya could've smiled if it weren't for the pain he felt from his now-broken purple fingers. He hit then underneath his hand and gave Akagawa his best chuckle. Akagawa didn't notice this and instead smirked as he saw the villains swirl around. "Now then, this should make them sleep with the fishies!"

"Akagawa..."Midoriya tried as Akagawa paused and created another object with his extended palm. Out manifested a rope, complete with an automatic lock and clasp at the ends. Akagawa chuckled darkly as he threw it into the water and watched as it slammed against one villain and then spiraled to the next one until they were all caught against it. The way it moved, they knew that Akagawa was controlling where it went. Their suspicions were proved when the clasp locked itself.

Akagawa then proceeded to fly out of the shipwreck zone. "Not too shabby," Asui commented. "You two are really amazing...Akagawa, a little bit creepy, but still, amazing."
