"Puteri…are you okay? Did you just plank yourself on the bed, right after finishing your studies?" Azren asked after quietly knocking his knuckles at Puteri's bedroom door before pushing it open to enter and inspect the sudden thumping noise he heard when he almost walks past to go to his bedroom, only to react with confusion from seeing his sister instantly fall her face and body first on her bed with her hands holding her A-Phone, her desk littered with study books, pencil box, and pepper spray gun instead of tidying her workspace clean to show her brother that she has finished today's worth of studying for the finals while the cherub Collin is peacefully sleeping on the bean bag seat Puteri allowed him and Keenie to use as a bed whenever the two switch houses between hers and Terren's, a smile on the angelic sheep's face while snuggling under the sheets.
As much as he shares Dij and Evan's support for Puteri busying herself to study and get a high education for her life, Azren also shares her parents' concern of the girl overworking herself to reassure her of taking breaks. What Azren does NOT share of his parents is how would they convince Puteri to take a break…with Evan offering mock battle practices for Puteri to improve her defense while Puteri wishes to make herself busy again by trying to give Dij less work to do housework by herself, especially when cooking in the kitchen and using a knife.
'Perhaps she's thinking about Terren.' Azren wondered with a mischievous smirk for what Puteri could be thinking since her face is plastered against the pillow and not looking at her phone unknowingly showing Azren a message trend from What – App to be a private chat with Terren. When he was told about Terren and the cherubs' plan to return to Heaven through performing good deeds five months ago, soon to be six by next week, Azren was initially intrigued yet doubtful about the plan as he knows that despite the limited number of the place, the Dark Hell Market and humans will continue to commit sins that disappoint the heavens although Puteri and Terren's stories of their methods during half the year may have impressed him whenever he offers himself to help with whatever he can, such as cooking small food of giving leftovers for the homeless every day.
As for Azren's impression of him, Terren seems like a reliable boy for Puteri to befriend with even with the baseless rumors he was told and heard about him, and his taste of anime and video games are interesting other than their favorite video game series, Keybearer.
"Z…Zen?" Puteri slowly raises her head off her pillow and look at Azren with a concerned scowl on her face once she climbs and sat back on the bed with her arms wrapping around her body to hide her body from the other, since she is wearing an A-shirt and thigh-high shorts as her sleepwear clothes, for Azren to sit beside her on the bed and be careful not to wake Collin up by his presence when Puteri told her friend with an exaggerated-like but genuinely sad pout. The first time she has ever expressed like that for once. "I…I don't know what to give Terren on his birthday tomorrow!"
Azren mused with a curious scowl and pursed lips for the thought of buying a gift for Terren's birthday, since he is as curious as Evan and Dij for the development of both Puteri and Terren's relationship as a couple bounded by fate and the cherubs' return to Heaven. "Well…aren't you two already in a relationship? So shouldn't you two know what you both love and hate by now?"
But the sight of Puteri shyly looks away with a faint red blush on her face answered Azren's question to mutter a soft displeased noise from his mouth. "Ah.." 'So they think they're not a couple yet?' Azren thought.
"I-I do want to have a relationship with Terren…he's thoughtful and kind to others, does well in his schoolwork, and never hesitates to stop the boys and Beverly from trying to take me away from him in and out of school, even if they were trying to hurt him physically and verbally. B-but I don't know if he would like any gift I buy for him. I won't ask Collin and Keenie, cause I want to give him what I hope he'll like by myself." Puteri nervously explained, trying not to sound embarrassed for telling her problems to a boy instead of their mother who would be wiser to do so, with a glance at Azren to see him nodding a few with his eyes closed and crossed arms.
After thinking for a possible solution for Puteri's plight, Azren softly opens his eyes and softened his sneer to wonder aloud with a faint smirk, to her surprise until she listens to the thoughts Azren wondered aloud with a raised finger in front of his lips in a shushing motion. "Okay, I understand. If not with the cherubs…how about his parents? Aren't they working at your school? Why don't you ask any one of them tomorrow while I'll also help out with your problem? I promise to keep it a secret from Terren."
"What is Zen planning?" Puteri continues to think even during her school time today but as usual, kept her composure to focus her lessons and studies for the exams, with the mid-break that will soon begin by the end of today. Right now, Puteri walks through the school halls during lunchtime that will end in a couple of minutes before her next class. But instead of the four, Puteri is walking with Keenie flying beside her, and Terren and Collin are absent today, which worries the two as Puteri has never seen Terren not going to school, as Keenie told Puteri and Collin that Terren is sick for Collin to stay with the other while Keenie joins Puteri's side for today, although his absence could help Puteri think of what she shall give him for his birthday.
Another worry for the two today is that Puteri is vulnerable to the boys having their opportunities to ask her out. As soon as Puteri walked inside the school without Terren today, it was not long for every student to not express the jealously they gave to Terren every day and insensitively comment and ask Puteri for her time to spend with them. But to their chagrin and shock; Puteri kept paying no mind to them by acting like she was before meeting the cherubs five months ago and continue to think of both Azren's plans and a birthday gift for Terren's.
"Why, hello pretty thing!" A voice alarmed Keenie to look in front and see a boy with slicked auburn hair and dressed in his P.E clothes standing in front of the two, knowing that he cannot see the cherub by Puteri's side now sneering her displeasure of the seductive smirk directed at Puteri who continues to ponder of her plans. From what Keenie remembered, this boy is from Class A and known to look down on others that are considered 'worthless' or 'poor' while openly declare that he will have Puteri for a girlfriend, although the sight of his and everyone's shock when they see her with Terren was amusing to Keenie.
"You look like you need some company from a handsome boy such as me! How about you hang out with me for a change…" The boy proposed with a thumb pointing on his chest but he was interrupted by Puteri kindly walking past him with an apology that shocked the boy in dismay and anger. "I'm sorry, but I need to go to Class E."
"H-Hey! Why are you ignoring me!?" The boy demanded Puteri for her and Keenie to stop walking and flying away before turning around to face the Class A boy, with Keenie expressing displeasure for his awful personality like the majority of Redwood Academy, also reminding the two of the Highway to Hell gang, while Puteri expresses confusion and a tint of worry when he slowly lurks closer to Puteri and exclaims with a confident smirk that bears malice hissing in his voice. "Don't tell you, you're dating that punk you always follow? We heard that you two live together… is he one of those abusive boyfriends that beat you to shut up and pretend that you two are happy as a couple?"
"Such disgraceful lies! Terren never did any of those stuff to you!" Puteri heard Keenie gasp her appalment of the boy's rude remarks about Terren, agreeing with the cherub that he has never done anything that follows the school's rumors about him and only did the opposite for good deeds, for Puteri to immediately correct him with an unfazed scowl and a curious tone on her face and voice. "Terren and I aren't dating yet, no he has never beat me nor anyone unless somebody did something wrong…and is it wrong to date or even make a friend with someone no one dared to be friends with? Class D.5 initially was afraid of him when we split Class E in half for the finals, but now we're getting along to study."
"Those poor losers in those classes are nothing compared to us elites with you as the only one suitable to be in the upper classes. Not to mention, with your beauty and your parents' success in thwarting the Dark Hell Market; you're basically a princess waiting for a Prince Charming like me to take you. That fucker is nothing but a beast I need to save you from." The boy joked with a laugh that managed to attract a few of the other students from different classes excluding Class E to watch as mentioning Puteri's former and current classmates of Class E and D.5 prompt Puteri and Keenie to flinch in surprise and anger, with the former keeping herself quiet from yelling an offensive response to the boy while the latter tries to compose herself, must not expose herself and start a brawl that will provoke her and Collin's redemption plan.
However, the two were forced to hear another more crude joke from the boy when he walks closer to Puteri who slowly take a few steps back, bringing a few surprised, angry and jealous reactions from the other students behind him. "But seriously, Puteri. You should break up with that loser and be with a real man…"
"What makes you a real man?" The boy, Puteri, and Keenie were startled of hearing a man voice interjected with a stern tone for the former to turn around while the latter two see no one but the cap-wearing janitor Puteri sees that is always on Miss Mirabelle's side inside and outside school, and possibly Terren's adopted father. Unsure if he is ignoring and looking at the boy instantly glare at him in anger and disgust for his appearance through his cap, the janitor pushes the mop bucket cart closer to him and enquired the student with a calm scowl on his jaw. "Is a real man someone who thinks it's okay to push and hurt others aside and become obsessed to have and threaten someone to be with, by being nothing but all bark and no bite, or is someone trying to prove to others that he needs to protect them from harm caused by awful people? Since you and your friends are in Mr. Rocky's group of muscle-brained students, you should feel ashamed of yourself for not focusing on your studies."
"What the hell? You have no part of this, old man!" The boy yelled his anger just when he almost grabs Puteri's wrist and drag her away, with the girl and cherub stare at Terren's adopted father faintly crane his neck and subtly show a glimpse of green eyes glaring back at the boy through his brown spikes stuffed inside his hat just as the four hear the school bells ringing the end of lunchtime for the students to walk back to their classes with some first stayed behind to watch the confrontation before doing so, releasing an irritated growl from the boy for his failure to take Puteri only for his anger to grew by the janitor calmly inform him without showing sympathy. "You kids should hurry to your classes…before the headmaster will hear that you two are skipping."
Without word but continues to grit his teeth and growl, the boy slowly walk away from Puteri and storm past the janitor but not before he instantly his foot at the mop cart and spill all the soap-covered water on the floor, soaking the janitor's shoes and brought the surprised Puteri to slide away from the growing pool of water with Keenie flying backward, horrified and angry that this student does something as horrible as that stunt just because he is angry for his failed seduction even when he yelled his rage at the janitor who did not react but stare at the water soaking his shoes and ends of his pants until the boy is gone. "Do you fucking job then, old man!"
"How could he do that? That poor man didn't do anything wrong but save you from that rude boy!" Keenie gasped while clutching her hands on her clothed chest, finding herself with no words but to express how hurtful it is to see someone receiving the wrath of a boy just because of an interruption, with Puteri finding herself at fault when she first watches the janitor, she believed his name is Siris from finding out that Miss Mirabelle is Terren's adopted mother, slowly kneel and soaked his knees on the floor before grabbing a wet cloth and start scrubbing the floor for Puteri to hastily walk closer and kneel to the wet area and pull out a discarded wet sign to place it in front of Siris, to his surprise while he did not see Keenie flying above them to float behind the janitor and took the items that fell off the mop cart and fix it back.
"I'm so sorry, mister. It's my fault for everything." Puteri sorrowfully apologized.
"…No. It's not your fault. That boy and the others should learn to understand and respect your decision, as Terren did. It's because of that, you want to be with Terren than the others, right?" Siris shook his head with a smile as he managed to get Puteri to raise her head with a surprised scowl replace the melancholy he would see her face painted before Terren surprised the school by making her express other emotions for once and even befriend him despite the terrible rumors of him, making both Siris and Lucy proud of their adopted boy's kindness. "Oh, yeah. Do you notice that he didn't come to school today, due to his fever?"
"Y-yes. I was wondering to ask Miss Mirabelle about that, as well as thinking about giving him a birthday gift for today." Puteri nodded with the nervous scowl and now blushing cheeks on her face, as Siris was unaware of Keenie flying back to her side after fixing the mop bucket cart back to the dried area of the floor when he closes his eyes and nodded with the smile, just like Azren did last night when discussing of Terren's birthday gift.
"Mmh…I would suggest that you do ask Lucy. I do like to tell you anything you want to know about Terren without making him upset with what I say, but you have to go to your class. Plus, I want Lucy to have a chance of being a mother." Siris recommended while taking note of Puteri looking to her right with puzzlement for a bit before looking back to silently nod her understanding and mutter a quiet 'thank you sir' with a short bow before walking away to the other side towards the hallway leading to the classrooms.
Despite adopting him five years ago, Siris knew that Terren still has difficulty being in a family since his biological parents treat him like shit while Siris and Lucy are no different of receiving angry complaints from other people including both sides of their family for taking in a 'troublesome boy', although Lucy's favorite cousin Matilda Mayberry willingly accepted Terren as a good boy before she died by suicide last year.
'I hope you'll continue to be Terren's friend…or more.' Terren hoped with a smile. 'He needs you more than you need him.'
"Kay, class. Finish this homework and study this chapter for the finals." Puteri and Keenie heard Miss Mirabelle ending Class E's Math class for their later break time during the other classes' lessons, knowing that she will also have Mathematics in her class after this, for the girl and cherub to hurriedly walk towards the door just as the teacher also walk out of the class until the two nearly bump to each other and startled Miss Mirabelle to almost dropping her stuff off her hands. "Oh, Jesus Christ! You scared me Puteri! Is something wrong, dear?"
Before Puteri could even ask her teacher what she wanted to ask about Terren, Class E heard her name being mentioned for Keenie and Mirabelle to grimace in annoyance from chairs being pushed back and boys whistling her name in disgusting flirts behind the teacher's back while Beverly called out to Puteri with a happy tone reserved to no one but Puteri. "Puteri! Are you here to see me, and only me!?" As much as she still wants Beverly to be a better person and move on from her obsession, Puteri has heard that the six months of being with Terren inside and outside Redwood Academy enraged Beverly further to beat other students up and blames her problem on Terren for stealing Puteri, which saddens her instead.
"Like I ask…" Miss Mirabelle swiftly pull the classroom's door behind her back and close it shut, relief that the classrooms do not have windows showing the hallways yet ignoring the muffled noises of disapproval from the boy students groaning and shouting their anger for her blocking out of their schoolmate from them, bringing her mind back to the present and again ask Puteri with a concerned frown for seeing her sad, watching her shyly comb her ponytail draping on her shoulders with her fingers. "…Is something wrong, Puteri? You look sad for some reason…"
'Please, be about Terren! Please, be about Terren! Please, be about Terren…' Lucy's mind, however, chanted the possible question with happiness for presuming Puteri will ask about her adopted son for his fever or his birthday. She and Siris still want the best for Terren and hopefully, his growing relationship with Puteri since she tends to overhear Terren calling her on their phones every night before bed with the former speaking with positive tones, making her ecstatic about their development.
"I-I'm sorry to ask you this before my class starts, and this has nothing to do with the subject, but I want to ask about Terren. I hope he recovers from his fever…a-and…I want to know what does he like for his birthday." Puteri revealed with a nervous glower for her question and look at the calm expression on her teacher's face with a single nod, unable to hear Miss Mirabelle squealing in excitement inside her mind that her thoughts are correct, before she gave herself a soft cough and smile at Puteri with a hand holding her stuff gently pat on her shoulder. "Thank you for telling me of your worry for Terren. His fever was sudden, but not dangerously high so he just needs to rest. But why do you want to ask me about his birthday? He'll love what you give him, like the heart pins on his watch from Valentine's Day.~"
"I know…it's just I'm worried about giving him a gift that will immediately remind him of his life before you adopted him. I never pressure him to tell me, but whenever I see him trying his best to smile when he hang out…I can tell that he is sad and angry of something, that could remind him of his former life. The times where Terren had to protect me from annoying men couldn't help him relax at all." Puteri quietly explained with sadness as Miss Mirabelle rub her chin with a finger of the same hand and that smile remains, unable to see Keenie successfully lock the door behind her by closing it shut with her strength while someone in the class is furiously jerking the door to open and proceed to hound on Puteri.
"I know how you feel, Puteri. When Siris and I adopted Terren, after what happened to our other child, we can tell we're going to have trouble raising a boy from a terrible family with our other family members heartlessly turn him away and start sprouting bullshit about him to get other people hating him too. Siris and I tried everything to open him up by pouring him the love he deserves and give him a life others would dream to have. But thanks to you, Siris and I could have never proud to see how Terren has changed to smile and call us his parents for once." Miss Mirabelle enlightened while trying not to shed tears for remembering what was it like; adopting a boy that initially expresses with negativity, slowly rebuilding him with years of human familiar interaction while the parents ignore every cruel remark of their child from their families and other people, only to quickly become human by a friend, or lover's, relationship.
What also sent her and her husband over the moon was the fact that not only Terren busy himself to study and hopefully pass his examinations like before, was the fact that he and Puteri spend their time after school riding around town with his motorbike and help the weak and the homeless people to have faith in humanity again.
"I'm sure whatever gift you give him, he'll love it. Now, let's go into class and finish today ASAP." Miss Mirabelle assured Puteri and lead her for the teacher and student to walk away from Class E and into Class D.5, with Puteri looking over their shoulders once they walk into the class's door to see Keenie flying away from Class E when they gave up in defeat and join Puteri's side with a confident smile.
"Now, they won't get you again, Puteri." Keenie informed Puteri to softly smile her response before she walk towards her seat for her teacher to start the class.
"Oh, my. What's happening over there?" Puteri heard one of the female students asks her friend when she and the other students excluding Class E walk out of Redwood Academy at the end of today's school day and notice a group of other female students standing close to each other outside the school gates and look at the road with excitement, alarming the others to walk closer to them and see the source, for the other girls to start gasping and giggling their happiness while Puteri and Keenie had their mouths opened in disbelief.
Outside the school, the students see a familiar, cherry-red Ferrari car parked closer to the entrance with no one but Azren standing against the side of the car while looking at his A-Phone to not see them spying on him. But instead of the clothes Puteri and Keenie always see him wear at home, they were surprised of seeing him wear a grey suit with a white undershirt and ripped sleeves to show his muscled arms, matching grey pants, black gloves, and dress shoes. It did not take long for Puteri and Keenie to hear the girls commenting to themselves with a bit of squealing for their fascination.
"Oh my god, that guy's so hot!"
"He looks like he comes straight in an anime!"
"Is he our age or older than us?"
"I hope he is either of those! It's not every day you see a hot guy drives a Ferrari around this town!"
"Hey, Puteri. Do you know that guy? Is he someone you're acquainted with…or is he your boyfriend?" One of the girls standing beside Puteri asked her with a curious scowl that shifted into a smile when she and the other girls turn their attention from the Water Princess to Azren who suddenly notice the group of students staring at him from looking up from his phone and close his eyes with a faint wave of his gloved hand at them for almost all of the girls except Puteri to close their eyes and squeal their happiness of getting noticed by a handsome boy before Puteri answered the girl's question with a nervous scowl and no one but Puteri and Azren see Keenie nodding with her arms crossed and closed eyes. "…Azren's my brother."
"But why is he dressed a bit like a butler? Ah! Is he like those butlers who also works as a secret assassin?" One of the girls wearing glasses wondered with amazement although she noticed the other students and unknowingly to all but Puteri, Keenie, are staring at her with raised eyebrows for her question, bringing the spectacled girl to shyly smile her thoughts and rub the back of her head and pink hair. "Sorry. I've been watching too much of Killer Maid, I can't help but think about servants working as assassins to protect people."
'Oh, That's also one of Azren and Terren's favorite anime.' Puteri remembered.
"Azren's also a fan of that anime, and wished to do something as similar as that whenever our dad asks him to. I'm sorry about his arrival for me, everyone." Puteri first exclaimed Azren's revealed favorite anime to the girl who immediately blinked her eyes and reacts with a smile of delight before apologizing to everyone with her as the other girl standing beside her react with surprise of the apology, the same goes to the others for seeing her apologizing for something she did not do and expressing different emotions other than melancholy, before she assured Puteri with a soft smile. "Hey, don't worry Puteri. You didn't do anything wrong. It's just a surprise visit from your…assassin butler-brother. Why don't you go home first, and we'll see each other at the end of the mid-break?"
"O-Oh. O-Okay…goodbye, everyone." Puteri nodded with a faint smile that managed to send even the girls awing in disbelief and amazement of her sweet face before she waves them goodbye and walks towards the Ferrari when Azren walk to the driver's seat, both Puteri and Keenie catch glimpses of the other students waving back at her with a smile on their faces too once Puteri opened the door for Keenie to fly inside to the back seat before Puteri sat at the passenger seat and close the door, putting on the seatbelt after Azren proceed to start the Ferrari and drive away from the school with the car's fast but safe speed.
"Again, I'm sorry for picking you up without telling you. I asked Evan and Dij last night if I could go buy some stuff and groceries today, before going into your room and decided to help you find a gift." Azren apologized with a chuckle as the three walks through the town's biggest mall called the Sturnidae Mall with Puteri first stare at Azren during the walk with a mockingly angry pout for his method of picking her up from school by using a Ferrari and caused the female students to now have a crush on him, but also glad that she can interact well with them for once, before Puteri look at her shoulder and see Keenie flying closer to the two while looking around the place with a doubtful glower. According to both Keenie and Collin, they once sent the then-alive Lyle Lipton to the same mall last Christmas and show the old man what life is worth living for only to get it ruined by the I.M.P. So bringing Keenie to the mall again would make her have bad memories again.
At least the three managed to get to the shop that sells what Terren would like and brought what Puteri thinks is suitable as a birthday gift for Azren to beat her by buying the gift with his own pocket money instead of her savings, to Puteri's chagrin.
"Puteri. Is it okay if you stay here and buy yourself a drink while I ask Keenie to help me with the groceries? She can use the time to help me while look for her missing friend inside the mall since it could be a lot of stuff." Azren suggested once the three stopped next to an open bar, with Puteri and Keenie first look at each other for the thought of separating each other for a short while, before a reassuring nod from Puteri convinced Keenie to sadly smile her agreement before Puteri watch Azren and Keenie walk and fly away from her before she walks towards the counter, clutching Terren's birthday gift in her hands.
Once her order of a drink has been set, Puteri walks and search for an empty seat to rest although as soon as she almost walks past someone, what she saw from the other attracted Puteri to froze in surprise and slowly turn around to see a young woman drinking her flask with an irritated sneer on her beautiful face. She has light tanned skin, long blond hair with a red top and pink streaks on the inside, pink eyes with black eyeliner and wears a ruffled pink long-sleeved crop top and a ruffled pink skirt with a slit at the hem, a white star pattern on the front and a black heart on the hip, a light pink sash with a heart design hanging down from her skirt from behind, and black heels.
'That woman…she's not human!' Puteri noted with surprise as although she can see this woman as a human…she can also see her with a demon-like form to be almost exactly like her human self but with pink skin, black-tipped horns on her white hair that still has the pink streaks with the left horn taller than the right, a barbed tail with a black end along with two black stars on the side of her horns and a black heart under her right eye, and yellow sclera. The revealed succubus-like demon wears a pink fur coat slinging off her shoulders and show her white and black dress exposing her curves, an X and O design on the chest, and a star design on the abdomen, long black thigh-high heels with a heart motif and three X-shaped cut outs down the sides, and a pair of round shades with pink heart designs in the lenses on her head. Unlike her human form, there is a red heart-shaped tattoo on her right upper arm with a name crossed out by a big black X.
Suddenly, the human-disguising demoness noticed Puteri staring at her with astonishment with her face soured in annoyance although she quickly curls her lips into a smirk after she finished her drink, wiping the yellow liquid off her lips with a thumb. "What's wrong, little girl? You like what you see from me?" The woman asked with a seductive tone from her smile although Puteri is unfazed for assuming her intention from the tone, no thanks to any boy that wanted her attention other than Terren and her father.
"…I can see that you're more than human, even with your disguise." Puteri calmly responded with a soft sneer as she sees the woman first raised her eyebrows with confusion and look at herself, as if she has dirt in her clothes, before she looked back at Puteri with the same smirk she had earlier return to her face when she resumes conversing with Puteri, her left hand reaches to stroke her thumb under the other's brown eyes not showing fear for seeing a demoness up close. "Mmh, you can see through my disguise? What good eyes you have…seriously. I've seen you before; you're always with your cute motorcyclist boyfriend driving around town every day and have two angelic baby sheep following you two, for some reason. Why? Heaven threw them off for doing some shit?"
"You're not wrong about that." Puteri agreed with a smile that managed to release a scoff from the succubus's smirk for her confidence before her frown replace her smile when she elucidated the other's sarcastic question. "A group of imps made Keenie and her partner banished for something they did on accident."
That answer brought the succubus to also frown but with anger when she enquired Puteri while pulling her closer to her with an arm around the student's neck, subtly surprising her. "…Does this imp group has the fucker's name Blitzo in it?"

"… That fucking Fox Stain Blitzo had us suck a lot of pig dick from the police! We had to fuck them some more in secret before we just got out of jail for 'good behavior'!" The succubus, Verosika Mayday finished explaining her story while letting her anger out without getting attention from people passing by them since Puteri managed to persuade her to join her on her table while writing down every important note of Verosika's story in a hand-sized notebook and pen. Whenever Puteri, Terren, and the cherubs meet someone who feels or wish to tell their problems to the two students, the former always list down the day, date, and information of the patient(s)'s stories as a sort of therapy, using them as notes to reassure of their troubles. Also as a way to gain her trust, Puteri already introduced herself as well as told Verosika of her power to recognize a pure human or a disguising deity by perception-like abilities through clairvoyance.
"So basically…the same imps that got Collin, Keenie, and their friend Cletus banished from Heaven challenged you and your friends into a demon duel that resulted in the catastrophe that happened last spring break with a giant fish monster…all for a parking spot? Isn't that…petty?" Puteri assumed what she gathered from the story with Verosika continue to drink more of her 'Beelzejuice' before she nodded her agreement with her disdain on Blitzo still flaring. "Yeah! I'm glad you also think of that! I don't care for those two sheep brats with you, but if I see that fucker again when I get back to Hell, I'll rip his dick off and stomp it into bits!" Her threat and temper brought Puteri to shake her body in fear while almost crouch on her seat.
'She's like Beverly if she wants to kill Terren.' Puteri compared as she watches Verosika close her eyes with an agitated sigh before reopening them back to notice both the small, rectangular box wrapped with colored paper and a bow-tied ribbon on the table that Puteri was holding it earlier, and her right hand with an elongated Red Thread of Fate around her fingers, for the curious succubus to grab the present and hold it in front of the startled girl with a flirtatious smirk on her face. "Oh~. Is this for your boyfriend's birthday or something? Does he has your Red Thread of Fate, or is it someone else you broke up from fate to be with?"
"Y…Yes. Today's his birthday, and he didn't go to school earlier so I just want to give that to him when I get back home. He has my Red Thread and he surprisingly takes it so well to accept it." Puteri answered with a nod as she slowly reaches her hand to grab her gift from Verosika, with the latter playfully held it higher and laugh at Puteri's cute expression of trying to reach her gift before she returned it before Puteri then ask a question that would hopefully not get killed by an enraged succubus. "You don't have Blitzo's Red Thread, do you?"
"Ha! I never believe in fate which is why I care less of how many clients I fucked around with, so I know right away that Blitzo's NOT the one I want." Verosika proudly admitted with a cocky smile as she initially did not see Puteri glancing back at her with a concerned scowl for the succubus's cold words for the imp that ruined both succubus and cherubs' lives for his actions, before Verosika slowly calm down to express an irritated glower not facing at Puteri when she look away from the innocent human.
"…But since you thoughtfully have a gift for your boyfriend with your Red Thread, I may be a tiny bit jealous of you, Princess. Even though you two are different, you get to be together, since you two are forced by fate…just promise me; don't be fooled of him until he suddenly betrays your trust and walk away."
Puteri was surprised to hear that from a succubus that was venting her anger for her ex and adversary, although she cannot help but smile a composed smile when she responded to the human-disguised demoness. "…I doubt it could happen, but if Terren wants to break up, I'll take your word."
"Verosika!" Both Puteri and Verosika heard her name being mentioned with the former turning around from her seat only to be greeted by a group of eight people, four men and four women standing in front of her while staring at the human girl with mixed confusion, with some having either light, dark, or tanned skin colors and wearing revealing-like or normal clothes, and just like Verosika, Puteri's eyes also see their demonic forms with all the women and three of the men are succubi and incubi while the dark-skinned man who is the tallest of the group and has a scar on his left eye is a sort of a wolfman, or a Hellhound as she recalled reading in a book once.
"Mmmh~. Is this little girl your first client out of jail, V?" The girl wearing a fishnet-like shirt, black skirt and boots, and upside-down cross-like earrings asked with a flirtatious smile directed towards Puteri who stared at every one of Verosika's crew now grinning seductively at her except for the disguised Hellhound softly frowning at her….and Puteri had to admit, even though she can sense they have sexual inducement abilities, Verosika and her friends are devilishly attractive as both human and demon.
"Nah, just someone who also thinks that fucking imp Blitzo is an asshole despite not meeting him, for good riddance. Princess here can also see through your disguises but she promised not to tell anyone." Verosika objected with a smirk and a hand resting on Puteri's shoulder when she first looks at each of the other's group members before she suddenly asks what the adults were not expecting a human would say. "…Verosika, is it weird for me to say that you are your friends are hot as both human and demon?"
'Aww, how cute.' Verosika grinned happily at the confession with the same feeling that applies to her friends when one of the incubi, Josh, lean closer to Puteri and proposed an offer with his charming smile while Verosika watch one of his hands reaching to the pocket of Puteri's skirt, growing curious like their other friends behind the incubus. "That's nice of ya, little lady. Wanna kissie …"
However, Josh's hand felt something inside her pocket that captured his puzzlement with his friends noticing his reaction to bear confusion until Josh pull his hand out of the pocket with the object and froze in bewilderment of the gun that was inside, also dismaying the group while Puteri noted with shock and hastily reach her hands to take her gun back. "Oh, that's my pepper spray gun! Be careful, it's strong enough to permanently blind someone to death if you use it too much."
'Why would she have a pepper spray gun…or a gun at all!?' Verosika and her friends thought of the same thing in dread with the others leaning back and away from Puteri while Josh hastily returns her gun by stashing it back to her pocket to not let other humans see it, and get them arrested again with Puteri included, before the latter look over them from the side with Verosika noticing a butler with black and brown hair and the female angel sheep heading towards the bar with the former pushing a large cart of grocery plastic bags while the angel is sitting on top of the cart with sorrow.
"Oh, I gotta go now. Sorry for not getting seduced by you guys…but I hope you and your friends will be alright after this." Puteri climbs off her seat with her hand grabbing both her notebook and boyfriend's gift and nearly runs off after saying her goodbyes to them, again surprising the human-disguised demons yet they find themselves smiling at her kind words and empty yet bold personality…
"Wait." Verosika immediately stopped Puteri from running off with her friends and the girl glare back at the former with confusion when she first stares at her crew with a silent sneer before softening into a confident smirk and flashes a gun with her fingers. "Hope to see you, whenever we visit the human world sometimes. I'll tell you when I'll beat Blitzo to shits, while you'll tell me about your boyfriend."
"Sure." Puteri nodded with a smile and turn around to hurriedly walk or run towards her butler and angel friends, leaving Verosika with her friends' company after the short succubus Milky asked her leader with a curious frown as all eyes are now watching Puteri joining with her friends and start to walk away from the bar. "Are you sure she ain't some human if she can see through our disguises? If so, that'll make her lucky."
"…Yeah. She's lucky alright." Verosika agreed with a chuckle. For a human who has a Red Thread of Fate and not afraid of demons despite having a sheep cherub by her side, Princess is not all bad…better than Blitzo.
