"Awww well don't you look adorable", Fluttershy comments to a blushing Twilight whose modeling her chef's hat for her while helping Cadence and her grill the steaks all while Fluttershy descretely records on her phone (because let's be real if you saw the most adorable thing in existence the first thing you'd want is video proof) because she knew her girlfriend well enough to know she'd kill her if she didn't. "Sure smells great, thanks for having me Cadence, of course after all we're celebrating you too". By the way Twilight you really did do great in the friendship games, thanks it was my first time and even though it was under duress I'm glad I did it", Twilight admits with a shy smile. "Wait what do you mean duress honey", Fluttershy gently asks. "N n nothing, I don't wanna think about it", Twilight squeaks shrinking back and turning away slightly, "Twilight please tell me what meant, I promise I'll be right here for you", Fluttershy coos cupping the shaking girl's chin. "I trust you, Twilight finally relents still with a sprinkle of reservation in her tone, which Fluttershy completely understood but still that one statement made her heart smile. "Cadence and my brother shining armor had left the room and principal Cinch basically told me then and throughout that if I didn't win or even participate she'd use her connections to make sure my academic career was over", Twilight recounts sadly. At this revelation Cadence nearly drops a pitcher of iced tea and Fluttershy produces a scowl that would make even satan himself turn tail and run to the safe arms of Jesus, she never knew she could hate anyone as much as she hated that cinch in that moment. "Oh Twilight, Cadence hugged her tight, I'm so sorry I should've known something was up and got you out of there as quick as I could". "It all worked out the best, you were there for me when I really needed you, and I got to meet Fluttershy", Twilight admitted softly giving them an award winning smile. "Dawwww I'm glad I got to meet you too sweetheart, Fluttershy cooed snuggling her protectively, Cadence we'll you help me get the drinks, of course I will Coke Twi", Cadence asks. That'd be great thank you of course dear", Cadence smiles following Fluttershy inside. The girls give one last affectionate smile to Twilight, as they turn to each other both with the same thought, "I want that witches head on a platter".
