I do not own the rights to the movie Gettysburg. It's is property of New Line Cinemas
Raven watch as the group continued their movie. It's surprising that despite even the headmistress being inside the room, they didn't notice the bird inside as well. The swordwoman mentally thanked her niece for keeping the window open.
She overheard the conversation between Pyrrha and Yang and was grateful for Yang to say no. She despised the champion and her horny male group and did not like the way they eyed her daughter and her niece. She made a mental note to deal with them when the time comes.
As for the movie, she was intrigued to say the least. This boy her daughter had the hots for, this Jaune was apparently in the film. A quick look at Glynda however made her think that there was more to the story than what she knew now.
As for the boy,she did not like him at first. He looked uncomfortable as a commander. However, his speech to the mutineers made her drop her dislike of him. After all, 300 men is not a good number if you are going up against an army of 70,000. And to see him inspire the men of the 2nd Maine made her nod in respect.
She waited as the girls had a bathroom break before she snatched a few snacks from Ruby's stash underneath her bed. Before going back up the bookshelf. Say what you want about the young girl, but her choices in snack are excellent.
Everyone got ready as the scene began...
The morning sun began to rise as General Lee came out of his tent. He looked at the sun as he mentally said a prayer:
Lee: 'Bow down thy heaven, O Lord. Come down and touch the mountains and they shall smoke. Blessed be the Lord, my strength, which teaches my fingers to fight…and my hands to war. Amen.'
"Amen." Nora repeated. When she noticed everyone looked at her, she shrugged. "What?"
After Lee left his tent, he walked toward a nearby stable where there were a few horses, among them Lucy, and Lee's horse, Traveler.
Lee: "Good morning, Lucy. Traveler, good morning to you, sir."
As he tended to the two, Major Taylor walked toward him with a smile.
Taylor: "Good morning, sir."
Lee turned around and saluted the officer.
Lee: "Good morning, Major Taylor."
Taylor: "Will the General have some breakfast?"
Lee: "No, thank you."
Taylor: "We have flapjacks in small mountains. Fresh butter, bacon, wagons of ham, apple butter, ripe cherries. You really ought to pitch in, sir. Courtesy of our host, the great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania."
Nora's mouth was watering. "So much food…..must make Ren cook."
Ren heard his partner and sighed.
Then the band began playing to signify that General Longstreet was approaching. Longstreet slowed his horse and dismounted before saluting his commanding general.
Longstreet: "Good morning, sir."
Lee: "General Longstreet, good morning."
The two began to walk as Major Taylor brought up the rear.
Longstreet: "Federal forces are concentrating."
Lee: "Yes, and I've confirmed some of your man Harrison's information. Their new commander is definitely George Meade."
Longstreet: "I have reports of Union cavalry in Gettysburg."
Lee: "Cavalry? General Hill reports only militia."
Glynda rolled her eyes. Of course someone is going to misinterpret a sizable force. She had seen many Atlesian Officers, General Ironwood especially, underestimate their opponents too frequently. It frustrates her to no end when she sees the results. So many deaths, so little gain.
Longstreet: "He did?"
Lee nodded, never breaking his stride. Longstreet nodded.
Longstreet: "Well, it's cavalry. Where there's cavalry, infantry will be close behind. Meade's closing fast. It could be he's thinking of swinging round behind us."
Lee: "Behind, in front: Direction does not matter. We'll fight him wherever he is."
Longstreet: "Probably got old Abe Lincoln on his back frantic to throw us out of Pennsylvania."
Lee stopped and turned to his Second in command.
Lee: "We may have an opportunity here."
Longstreet: "I agree. Our objective was to get their army out of Virginia and into the open. Now they are in the open."
"Ouchie." Ruby winced. "Sounds like the Union played into the Confederate hands on this one."
"Let's hope Jaune and the 20th can help to turn the tide." Blake reassured her leader. "If there's one thing our knight is good at, it's flipping a situation into his favor."
Lee: "General Meade has been forcing the march. The weather has been unusually hot. He will probably arrive here worn out and weary, piece by piece. If we concentrate, we can hit him as he comes up. If we can take out a few of his corps, we can even the odds. But we must strike hard and we must strike quickly."
Lee stopped as he heard a booming sound over the horizon. He and General Longstreet scanned the trees as the sound continued.
Lee: "What artillery is that, Major?"
"That's the artillery?" Yang said in shock. "Holy shit that's unbelievable if you can hear that from afar."
She proceeded to drop another lien into the swear jar as RWB-NR-G nodded.
Taylor: "I don't know, sir. General Heth is in front."
Lee: "My instructions were clear?"
Taylor: "Yes, sir. To all commanders. Avoid contact with the enemy until the army's up and concentrated."
"Someone's getting in trouble." Nora sang.
Lee: "And General Heth?"
Taylor: "He has instructions not to force major action. I told him this morning."
Lee: "We should move closer to the front. Send for General Heth. I must know what is going on."
Taylor: "Yes, sir."
Major Taylor went to consult with a few others nearby. Lee then turned to Longstreet.
Lee: "General…"
He gestured for them to walk some more.
Lee: "In the fight that is coming, I want you to stay back from the main line. This army has lost too many of its veteran commanders…and you, sir, have a very bad habit of moving too far forward."
They both stopped as Longstreet stared at Lee before lowering his head.
Longstreet: "Can't lead from behind."
Lee: "May I say it plainly, sir. I cannot afford to lose you. Now, General, let's look to this day. You may bring up your corps."
Longstreet saluted his Commander before leaving. Lee then turned to his Major.
Lee: "Major Taylor, have Traveler saddled up. I'm going to look around for myself."
Taylor: "Yes, sir."
"Lee doesn't look happy." Blake observed.
"Of course he isn't." Weiss huffed. "He is confused about the artillery in the distance, his cavalry is not around, he literally told General Longstreet to stay back from the fighting, and he received a misleading report that there was militia and not cavalry in the area. Of course he's not having a good day."
Everyone stared at the white-haired girl before returning back to the movie.
On the other side. The battle had begun for Gettysburg. Buford watched from the tower of the red-brick house as his artillery began to light up the approaching Confederate Forces. One round hit in front of one of the columns of Confederate Infantry, killing a few soldiers. Nevertheless, the Southern army continued forward and finally broke a fence down. Confederate forces swarmed into the field and began to form up into a line formation.
Buford's Cavalrymen were stacked up behind a wall of stone and wood. Just as the Confederate began to line up. The Union rifles sparked to life. The resulting volleys began to rip through the Southern forces. Both cannon and musket fire caused serious casualties among the Confederate Infantry.
The room was now silently watching the battle. They were both excited and terrified as both forces clashed with one another. Excited to see the two finally begin their fight, and terrified of the amount of casualties that was being conflicted, not to mention the sheer ignorance of the wounded. Both forces were literally walking over their own dead.
Ruby had tears in her eyes. This is not the kind of battle she'd picture Jaune to partake in. She was even more scared for her first friend.
Glynda was swallowing hard. This was even worse then the wars that raged on Remnant. She gripped her hands tightly, as she struggled to picture Jaune in the battle. The only thing entering her mind was her student dead as his men are massacred around him.
Raven was used to death and fighting. This however was troubling to her. The way these two were trading blows was very hard to watch even for her.
'So this is their frontline combat.' She thought. 'This isn't combat, this is a bloodbath.'
Buford: "They've got a brigade in position and that's all. We've got the best damn ground around, and they're hitting me with one brigade. Lovely."
The Union general turned around and scanned for any sign of his Infantry counterpart, General Reynolds. When he saw both he cursed before motioning for the trap door to be open.
Buford: "Going on down, gentlemen."
Meanwhile, both Southern and Northern forces fired at one another until at last the Confederates started to pull back. Colonel Gamble watched the retreating force with a relieved face.
Gamble: "They are on the run."
"That's right ya cowards!" Nora cheered. "Run away."
"Nora." Ren said in a stern voice. "They might come back and even stronger."
Nora responded with an "oh" as Blake shook her head. So much death just to take a ridge. And this is the opening stages of the battle.
Just then, General Buford came riding up to Gamble who saluted.
Gamble: "Close crop, General."
Buford: "How are your losses?"
Gamble: "Not bad at all, sir. We got them out in the open. Really got a twist on them. They are arrogant people, you know? They came right at us.
When Buford scanned the Confederate forces with his binoculars, Gamble continued.
Gamble: "We took some prisoners. They're from Heth's division of Hill's corps. That's what I've got in front of me. A new division. 8,000 men more or less. All within sound of this. Just back up that road between here and Cashtown. A little ways up the road."
"So General Heath did attack Buford's Cavalry." Weiss commented. "I thought that no Confederate was to engage the Union."
"Fog of war." Glynda replied. "He must have misheard his commander if he was to disobey General Lee."
Buford: "It'll take them a little while to get on line."
Gamble: "Yes, sir, but Hill's whole corps is behind. Maybe 25,000. Longstreet behind that. Ewell over there to the north."
Buford: "I know, Colonel."
Gamble: "When John Reynolds gets here, he won't have the full army with him. Only part of it. The point is, the rebs will be here this afternoon…with everything they've got. I just thought I'd mention it.
Ruby and Yang had their eyes swirling as they couldn't understand what Colonel Gamble was trying to say.
Raven and Glynda however understood perfectly. The Confederates would be on the field in full, while General Reynolds would be coming in with only part of the army. The two women mentally sighed. It has to be done if the Union wishes to hold the line.
General Buford looked at Colonel Gamble as he sat back on his horse.
Gamble: "Now. What do you want me to do here, sir?"
Buford: "Heth will be back in a bit. If he's got any brains at all, and he's not stupid…he'll know by now he's got at least a brigade in front of him. He won't wait to get his whole division in line. That would take half the morning.
Gamble: "Sir, he don't need his whole division."
Buford lowered his binoculars to look at Gamble.
Buford: "That's right. Has Devin report any activity on his front over to the right?
Gamble: "No, sir. Not a lick."
Buford: "All right. I'll have Devin leave his cover and withdraw his boys…and have them move in alongside you, lengthening your line. When Heth gets back, he'll run into two brigades. That ought to hold him until Reynolds gets here."
'A deceptively tactic.' Raven mused. 'This General Buford is clever. If only he was on Remnant. I could use him.'
The rest of the room was in awe at the tactic.
"Putting his entire force on the field just to fool his opponent…" Weiss said in surprise. "It's a bold move."
"Yeah."Ruby nodded. "But I think he should find better cover. That wall doesn't look so well"
"Take what you get, Rubes." Yang shrugged. "He picked the location, let's hope his men have the will to put up or shut up."
Gamble: "Right, sir."
As Buford resumed scanning the enemy, Gamble looked up at the sky.
Gamble: "Damn sure glad the rain is gone. Don't want anything to slow up Reynolds."
"Don't jinx it!" The student cried out. Glynda chuckled at the children's superstition.
Buford looked at his Colonel before nodding.
Buford: "Take care of yourself, Colonel."
Gamble: "Don't worry about me, sir. I'm the soul of caution."
The scene then switches to the Confederate force which had just arrived in a town known as Cashtown. The soldiers marched forward, some of them were barefoot as they moved along.
"Geez," Yang said disapprovingly. "I know the Confederate Army has less materials but no shoes?"
General Lee stopped near a man in a red shirt and had a small conversation with him before he moved on.
The scene then returned back to Buford's Brigade as they endured another attack.
Southern Artilleryman: "Fire!"
The cannons roared as they let loose on both forces. There was a group of cavalrymen firing in front of the wall before the Confederate cannons began to shell their position.
Union Cavalryman: "Move! Fall back!"
The cavalrymen began to fall back when a cannonball hit the ground next to one of them, sending him flying.
Everyone in the room winced at the solid hit.
"He ain't getting up." Nora said solemnly.
"With that kind of hit," Weiss replied, "I wonder how he's still in one piece."
As Colonel Gamble assisted his men by using his revolver against the Confederates, General Buford watched the battle with his binoculars as the two became locked in a stalemate of sorts.
Buford: "That flank…Hold it!"
Colonel Devin got off his horse and rallied a fresh batch of troops to the wall which was now littered with the dead and dying Union soldiers. Buford began to ride his horse along the line until another Union soldier ran up to him.
Union Soldier: "Gamble's down, sir. Colonel Gamble, but he's not hurt bad, sir."
"Oh no." Ruby said sadly.
Buford quickened his pace to meet a shakened Gamble, covered in grass and dirt but otherwise unharmed.
Gamble: "I'm all right. It was close, that's all."
Ruby sighed in relief as Yang hugged her. "He's a tough cookie, Rubes. He'll be alright."
As Buford pulled up his binoculars, a courier gallups toward him. He stops as Buford turns to the Union messenger.
Courier: "Sir, Colonel Devin's compliments. No problem on the right. They came up close, but we put in the reserve. We didn't put it all in, sir. Wishes to know if you have further orders."
Buford: "Tell Devin all reserve forward, now."
"Hm." Weiss nodded. "The General wants all available arms to press the engagement...it's a bit aggressive but the Confederates have shown to be trying war tactics to weaken the Union."
"For what good it will do, It looks as if the Union will still maintain a solid defense for a good while." Glynda observed. "I find the ground that General Buford selected is to his advantage."
The two sides continue to collide as General Buford made his war back to the red-brick house. While one Union cavalryman found himself being thrown off his horse by cannon fire, Buford made his way up the trapdoor and brought up his binoculars.
There was still no sign of General Reynolds, so the General returned his eyes to the battle. So far his men were holding but casualties were mounting.
"Where is he!" A red-eyed Yang growled. "This guy is pissing me off."
"Have faith, Yang." Ren reassured her. "I'm sure he is coming."
"Well he better get here fast." Yang rolled her eyes. "The Blues look like they can't spare anymore men."
As cannon fire rained down on opposite sides. Buford maintained his silence. He just needs to hold on a little longer. His wish came true as one of his officers turned around and looked for him.
There riding under both a blue flag that had a clover and a '1' in the middle came a group of men in Union uniforms. The officer lowered his binoculars in excitement.
"Sir, it's General Reynolds."
"He made it!" Ruby cheered. The students cheered as Glynda gave a small smile.
'I guess instead of the Cavalry, the Infantry is here,' The headmistress mused.
The General looked at the approaching group and then pulled out a handkerchief to wipe his sweat away.
Buford: "Thank God."
The group slowed to a trot before stopping below the tower. General Reynolds looked up to his friend and gave a curt nod.
"Dad?!" Blake said in shock. Everyone looked at her.
"Holy shit Blake!" Yang licked her lips. "Your dad is hot."
"Yang!" The cat ninja hissed.
"Lalalalalala." Ruby covered her ears.
"Must you be so lewd, Xiao Long!" Weiss said in disgust.
"Don't hate because I like a man with muscle." Yang defended herself.
Reynolds: "What goes, John?"
Buford: "There's the devil to pay!"
Reynolds: "Can you hold?"
Buford: "I reckon I can."
Buford came down from the tower as the fighting continued. Getting on his horse, both generals trot down toward the field.
Reynolds: "Now John, Heth probably has about 10,000 men coming down that road, wouldn't you say?"
Buford: "Yes, sir. But there'll be more behind him."
Reynolds: "We can put almost 20,000 in the field. We're in very good shape, I think."
Buford: "For a while, sir."
Reynolds: "I'm sending messages to all commanders to come here with all possible speed."
Reynolds stopped his horse and looked at the ground with a satisfied look on his face.
Reynolds: "It's lovely ground."
Buford nodded as he turned to his men.
Buford: "I thought so, sir."
Reynolds: "Now let's go surprise Harry Heth."
The two generals start trotting down as General Reynolds Infantrymen begin to march right behind them, ready to fight.
"Yeah!" Yang raised her fist. Now it's an equal fight!"
"Mhm." Ruby said before turning to Blake. "Looks like your dad is a hero in this story too."
"Yeah." Blake quietly said, as she watched her dad on horseback. A small smile crept on her face. "He really is."
The scene changed to General Lee's group as they came across the man responsible for the engagement. General Heth. The man saluted Lee who returned it.
Lee: "General Heth."
Heth: "Sir. I beg to report."
Lee: "Yes."
Heth: "Very strange, sir. The situation is very confused."
"How is this confusing?" Weiss asked sceptically. "You saw the Union forces and engaged them without your general's consent, therefore violating your orders. It seems very cut and dry to me."
Lee: "What happened?"
Heth: "I moved in this morning, as directed. I thought it was only a few militia, but it was dismounted cavalry, sir. There weren't all that many, and the boys wouldn't hold back. I thought we shouldn't be stopped by a few dismounted cavalry…but they made a good fight. They really put up a scrap, sir."
"Typical." Blake rolled her eyes. "Hey look, militia. Let's fight them, oh wait it's Cavalry. Let's still fight them."
Raven silently watched the girl mock the general's explanation. Not that she disagreed. Heth underestimated his enemy and paid the price. Now his report sounded like he's the victim.
The swordswoman returned her eyes to the screen. Qrow himself would have been a better general than this guy.
General Lee sat uncomfortably as Heth continued his report.
Lee: "Go on, General."
Heth: "Well, sir, they wouldn't leave. My boys got their dander up. We deployed the whole division and went after them. We just about had them running then all of a sudden…they got infantry support. We got pushed back. Then we re-formed and tried again. We couldn't just leave it to them, sir. Now there's more Yankee infantry coming. I don't know how many. But I don't know what else we could've done. It started as a minor scrap with a few militia. The next thing I know, I'm tangling with half the Union army."
"How is this guy a general?" Yang asked disbelievingly.
Lee: "Things will get out of control, Mr. Heth. That is why we have orders. Is it possible you misunderstood them?"
Heth: "No, sir."
Lee: "Can you identify those people?"
"He'd better." Yang began. "It'd be humiliating if you didn't know who's kicking your ass."
"Language, Ms Xiao Long." Glynda scolded her student.
Heth: "The Infantry is the First Corps, the Black Hats. There's another corps coming that we haven't identified."
'The Black Hats.' Blake tested the name. 'Not a fancy name but it's a good one, dad.'
Lee: "I must have all possible information on enemy strength. Major Taylor, I want you to ride forward to the highest position and observe. And do be careful."
Taylor: "Yes, sir."
Major Taylor rode off as General Heth got his hopes up.
Heth: "Sir, shall I attack?"
Lee: "No, sir. We are not ready for full engagement. General Longstreet is not up with his corps."
Heth: "Sir, the enemy is disorganized. If we throw all our forces in the field, we will have the advantage."
The sound of cannons firing alerted Lee to the battleground.
Lee: "Is that our artillery?"
Heth: "Yes, sir."
Lee: "I can't imagine what has happened to General Stuart. I've heard nothing. Do you understand?"
Heth: "Yes, sir."
Lee: "I have no idea of what lies in front of me. It may be the entire federal army."
The scene is changed to the battle where the 1st Corp Infantrymen begin to quickly fill in positions where the Cavalrymen tried desperately to hold. Dead Union soldiers hung over the wall as the Infantry ran to get into position.
"Come on boys" Nora cheered. "Get in the fight. Hold back them Rebs! Your Queen demands it!"
Ren sighed as the girls giggled.
"No time for dilly dally." Weiss joined in. "Teach them respect, Union!"
"Kick their butt, Blue-coats!" Ruby waved a blue cap around. Everyone suddenly looked at her.
"Where did you get the hat, sis?" Yang asked. Ruby grabbed the box and dumped it out. There were both Union and Confederate merchandise, including hats, coats, miniature flags of both nations and guidon flags.
However, at bottom of the box was a big flag. The girls unraveled it to reveal a large beautiful Stars and Stripes flag. On both sides were gold letters:
20TH REG. MAINE VOLS
Everyone was in awe. Yang then grabbed a box of pins and with the help of Professor Goodwitch, they hung the huge flag on their wall for all to see her glory.
Then as if guided by an invisible force, the RWBY, Ren, Nora, and Glynda saluted the flag. The silence emanated the room until they lowered their hands. Raven watched the whole scene unfold. While she wasn't going to reveal herself, she lowered her head to the flag in respect.
As each person got back into their sitting position and grabbed a portion of the merchandise (including Glynda) Blake resumed the movie.
Meanwhile a courier arrived and handed a message to one of Buford's officers. He opens it as Buford waits for the contents to be read aloud.
Officer: "Sir, compliments of Colonel Babbit. Rebels are coming from the north. Your instructions, sir?"
Buford: "That'll be Ewell's corps. They're trying to flank us. We got to meet them and force them to go on line. Tell Colonel Devin to get up that way as quick as he can. We'll get Gamble's boys back in the saddle and be there shortly."
The battle continues as both Infantry and Cavalry try to hold back the Confederate Army.
Meanwhile, General Lee continued behind the Confederate Army as his officers relayed him information on the enemy.
Officer: "General Rodes has encountered Yankee cavalry, sir. Buford's brigades. General Early's right behind him and will be on the field within the hour."
Lee: "General Early may be attacked by half the federal army within the hour."
The sound of the artillery alerted Lee to the battle up front.
Lee: "Is that Pender's artillery?"
Heth: "Yes, sir. He's up now, sir. Four batteries in position with two more in reserve. With General Rodes attacking up there and Pender and I, we have three divisions. We could sweep them."
Lee turned to his left to find Major Taylor who had arrived just then to give his report.
Taylor: "General, sir. I saw only two federal corps. 1st and 11th. And General, I saw Early's lead columns coming down north of Rodes' lines. He'll be engaged any minute, sir."
Heth: "Sir, we got 20,000 infantry coming down almost behind the Union lines. It's perfect, sir."
"Uh oh." Ruby said nervously. "That's bad. The baddies can switch it up again."
Lee closed his eyes and gave one small thought.
Lee: 'God's will.'
Opening them he made his decision.
Lee: "Gentlemen, it would appear the fight is already underway. General Heth, you may attack, sir. My orders to all commanders: Attack."
The scene changed to the 1st Corp as they got into position. Their fife and drum played "Hell on the Wabash" endlessly as they marched to the beat.
Then the song became more theme-like as the Union Infantry formed into their lines.
RWBY began to whistle with the fife and drums as the battle continued. They felt that the Infantry was going to be enough to break the Confederate lines.
General Reynolds rode his horse behind his men. As the men got ready, Reynolds moved forward and shouted aloud:
Reynolds: "Forward men, Iron Brigade forward!"
The 1st Corp charged in screaming as they engaged the enemy.
Reynolds: "Drive those fellows out of that woods!"
General Reynolds rode behind the line even as men were hit by both musket rounds and cannon fire.
Suddenly, a Confederate sniper is seen peering through his scope
The feeling of dread was felt by Blake as she hoped the target was not her dad.
Reynolds: "Forward! For God's sake, forward!"
Suddenly Reynold stiffens as the sniper hits his target. He falls off his horse, and lies motionless.
Blake's eyes watered. "No, no, no, he can't die like this."Granted, this was not her dad, but he had his face. And she did not want to see her dad die.
The rest of Team RWBY moved in to comfort their teammate.
The Guidon carrier, having seen Reynolds go down, dismounts and runs up to the fallen General, dropping the guidon as he runs. Picking up the General, he notices red behind the back of the General's head and realizes the truth. He looked at the group around and said only two words:
1st Corp Guidon Carrier: "He's dead."
Blake broke down. Weiss hugged her as both Yang and Ruby each took a hand. Glynda put a hand on her shoulder as Ren and Nora lowered their heads. Raven maintained her posture though. To her, the man died doing what he was needed to do: commanding his men. And seeing the round hit him, it looked like death came swiftly for the General.
After a while, Blake calm down and left to call her dad. The groups decided to have a break before starting up again.
Yang walked outside to catch some air. The sun was setting as she walked the around the courtyard. She inhaled deeply but was stopped when she heard someone approaching.
"So I heard you declined our offer, Xiao-Long." Cardin's voice came from behind. Yang turned around to face the boy.
"I don't know what you did to Pyrrha but I can tell you that I want nothing to do with you guys." The blonde boxer stated. Cardin wasn't fazed.
"So you strut around here wearing slutty clothes and yet when we give you a chance to realize your dream, you slap our hand away? Cardin mocked. "Oh I'm so hurt."
Yang's fist tightened. "I'm gonna lay it straight to you Winchester." She growled. "Stay away from me and my team. And while you're at it, keep Pyrrha away from us. We don't need her behavior near Ruby."
Cardin stepped forward. "Oh that's funny coming from you bitch. You think you have a choice in the matter? You don't. We know all about your actions at the bar. You know the one you destroyed? I just have to call my dad and you could be seeing serious jail time and probably a stack of papers so big your grandkids will need lawyers. So..."
He walk around Yang, holding a smirk as he kept his distance. "Here's the deal: you come with us tonight, we don't touch Ruby at all. Simple enough. Of course we can't promise you if she wants in on the action. But all we want is you. Come and Ruby remains innocent as a fly. Deal."
He grinned as he smacked her ass hard.
Yang's fist trembled. Cardin had her dead to rights. If she was in jail, Ruby was at the mercy of Cardin. She couldn't have him hurt her. After a minute she opened her mouth when she heard Cardin grunt in pain.
"How about I make you a counter-offer." Raven growled into the bully's ear. "Touch my daughter or my niece or any of their friends and I swear you will need to use a straw to drink your food. Get near them and I send one of your body parts to you father. Is that clear?"
The sword woman made sure to twist the boy's arm more, causing Cardin to nods furiously. Raven smirked before kneeing the boys crotch. Cardin groaned at the pain while Raven faced her daughter who stared at her with both disbelief and anger.
"Yang," she said. "I believe we have a long over due talk."
And there you go.
So I know a lot of you want to know why Gettysburg is getting my full attention while 360 is in a hiatus. Gettysburg is my favorite movieand I wanted to do something like this.
I love 360 too, but after reading it myself, I kinda realized that I rushed it. There are some things I'm trying to fix and others I'm yanking. out or replacing. I will get back on it but for now Gettysburg has my attention.
So Raven is now in the pic. I always had a small fondness of her. She is quite simply the worst mom in both RWBY and in the real world. But I think if you give her a legit reason for why she did what she had to do, then it starts to make sense. Roosterteeth kinda screwed her over anyway. I'm mean hell...
Make her story like if she stayed she would risk Salem hunting both Ruby and Yang down and she left to drive the Grimm bitch off the kids tail. Bam, I just saved Raven from being a dumb badass mom to a mom who sacrificed much to keep her daughter and niece safe. Tada.
Sorry, I just find that everything after Volume 4 to be a total wreck. Which is why I cling to the first three volumes lol.
Anyway, Here's some homework. How should the talk between Raven and Yang go. Yes I will have Raven be a part of the group to watch the movie but I want to salvage her first. Reviewer: give me ideas!
Lastly, there will be character that I will have the character recognize from their universe (General Reynolds=Ghira Belladonna) let me know if you have suggestions for any other characters.
Alright I will write something later this week, hope you enjoy this one
Love peace and chicken grease.
