Will was there, sitting at the counter with a stack of files to update. He didn't like it, but at the moment he didn't have the strength to interact with patients. He couldn't think and speak. That was really a weird thing. Will was the kind of joke at any time.
Yes he was getting ready to begin when he noticed that everything around him was moving.
Yes, he was up to arrange his folders and organize his work and everything began to revolve around him.
He then stood there impaled. he hoped the dizziness he was having at that moment would soon end. But it was not so.
Noticing him dazed, pale as a ghost, staring into space, Meggie walked over to him to make sure he was okay.
- Hey Will? All right? he asked without receiving an answer. She walked over to him again and touched his hand.
The nurse was amazed the hand was a piece of ice. Then she touched his forehead. Usually that happened when the body temperature rose, but that wasn't the case.
Will swallowed and gradually moved away from her on his way to the emergency room exit.
What is going on? thought Maggie and tried to follow him. However, she was called to order by Dr. Choi.
- Maggie, I need you here. - She said
- I'll be there in a moment - she tried to say.
-Now! - Ethan repeated
So the nurse had to desist from following Will, but she had promised herself to find him as soon as she finished with the other doctor.
- Something wrong? You look distracted. asked the Asian doctor.
- No, all right. I'm just worried about Will. - He answered.
- Why? I saw him a few hours ago and he was fine, he seemed in a great mood. Choi said
- Yes, I too had had the same impression, but a little while ago he seemed tired, then he jumped up, I approached him, I touched his hands and he had them frozen. Yes, he's headed for the emergency room exit. It seemed to me that he was having a hard time moving and so I was following him. said Maggie
- I'm sorry to have prevented you from going to him, but here I needed expert hands. - said the doctor.
Meanwhile Will had finally arrived outside, after a time that seemed like an eternity. He leaned against the wall and began taking slow, deep breaths, closing his eyes.
He snapped them back, clinging to the nearest basket and started throwing up everything in his stomach.
When he finished he felt a little better. He thought his coffee had hurt him, maybe he drank it too quickly.
Back in the emergency room, he took a bottle of water to take a few sips and then went back behind the desk to finish the job of updating the files.
Meanwhile Maggie was back at the station and promptly approached the doctor.
- Hey, are you all right? - churches
- Yes everything OK. - Will said
- I saw you run away .. - replied the nurse.
- I needed to get some air. The doctor answered vaguely without taking his eyes off the files.
He seemed to be doing better and that was the important thing, but Meggie knew she would keep an eye on him.
She and Doctor Halstead had a special relationship, she was like an older sister to him.
After a dozen or so files Halstead began to struggle again.
He couldn't bring himself to focus on the words written on them. Everything was blurred, out of focus precisely .. the difficulty he had was obvious. He wrote everything without following the line.
He tried to rub his eyes but nothing.
Yes he got up, and everything started spinning again, but he couldn't see well.
He wanted to go to the doctors room, he knew the way by heart by now, but he had great difficulties, bumping here and there.
When I finally got there, I groped the sofa and lay down.
He wanted to sleep, he was tired, closed his eyes and was shrouded in darkness.
Several doctors entered and left the room, there were those who had not noticed his presence, and those who had seen him and made sure not to disturb him. But was he really sleeping?
