Authors Note 4/27/21: Here is the final new chapter of this story. I enjoyed going back to this story and revising it. I wrote this story when I was a teenager and now as an adult, it made me cringe so much with all the errors and corny elements. So I decided to make it a more polished version and have some fun with this story. I hope you've enjoyed the revised version and new additions to this story. Enjoy!
Epilogue
One Month Later, The Wedding
Bella POV
"I don't know why you had to rush this wedding. I could have planned an extravaganza. A beautiful wedding at the plaza." Alice griped.
Rolling my eyes at my over-dramatic sister, "That's exactly what we didn't want Ali."
Rose and I decided, why wait when we can get married sooner?
We decided on a Christmas wedding.
Less than a month after our engagement.
Crazy, maybe?
But it worked for us.
Our families would be together and all we had to do was find a venue.
Rose's parents were more than happy to provide their backyard as the venue.
Their home, Rose and Jasper's home was on the beach in Malibu, where it would still be warm for an outdoor wedding.
Vera voiced her support with, "It's about time you two got married. Let's not delay it anymore."
My mom pipped up, "Yeah, we're not getting any younger, we want grandkids sooner rather than later."
That made me and Rose groan.
We wanted kids, but we also just wanted to be married by ourselves for a while.
So on Thanksgiving, while we were eating pie we decided to have a Christmas wedding, that way Rose nor I could forget our anniversary.
Our mothers were more than happy to spring into action with wedding planning.
Alice protested only because she felt like it should be a huge wedding with 200 people.
But that wasn't Rose and me.
Alice was my lone maid of honor and Rose had Jasper as her man of honor, Jasper claimed he was actually the best man but Rose liked to piss him off so she used man of honor.
Rose decided to wear a suit and I couldn't wait to see my future wife in it, she could wear a one like no one else.
I went for a simple silk white dress that went a little past my knees but above my ankles.
We were going for causal dressy. Or at least that's what Alice said as she coordinated our looks.
Neither of us saw our wedding outfits.
We wanted it to be a surprise.
My hair was half up, half down, with white butterfly clips holding up some of my hair and the rest was beautifully set in waves by Alice.
She also did my makeup, a soft gold eye shadow with a bit of blush and soft pink lipstick.
I was ready to call Rose mine, my wife.
Stroking my wrist I smiled at our R&B tattoo, just a few months ago it made me want to cry, and now it brought me nothing but joy.
And there would be a wedding band with my beautiful blue engagement ring.
A knock at the door took me out of my sentimental trance and Alice out of her grumblings.
It was my parents.
"Aww honey, you look gorgeous. I'm so happy you and Rose have found each other again."
My mom swept me up in a hug, with Alice protesting, "Mom watch the hair and makeup!"
Mom rolled her eyes, "Mary Alice, don't you have to go do Rose's makeup?"
Alice stuck out her tongue and kissed Mom's cheek, "Yeah I'm going right now."
"Tell my wifey, I love her," I said.
Alice smiled at me, "Will do, Bells."
Rose POV
"Miss Rosalie Hale, are you ready to officially be a Cullen?" Alice stepped into my childhood bedroom like a tornado.
I laughed, "Why yes I am, and I'm kinda excited I get to be a part of the family before Jazz"
Alice narrowed her eyes, "That's is only cause you two had to rush your wedding. He'll be a part of the family in May under the Cherry Blossoms of Central Park."
My soon-to-be sister-in-law stepped into my bathroom putting her makeup kit on my vanity, her silk blue bridesmaid dress reflecting the sun.
I stepped into the bathroom.
"I'm just messing with you Ali. How is Bella?" I asked eager to hear about my soon-to-be wife.
The little pixie's eyes softened, "She told me to tell you she loves you and she called you wifey."
"God, I love that woman," I said smiling like a lunatic.
"You don't say? I couldn't tell." Alice teased.
She patted the chair I had in front of my vanity, "Sit down Mrs. Hale Cullen. Let's get you ready to marry my sister."
Two hours later I was standing at the altar, an arch of roses beautifully crafted by my mom and mother inlaw.
Bella stepped down to the beach with Carlisle and she looked like a vision.
There were tears streaming down both of our faces as we said I do as the sunset.
1 Year After the Wedding
"Baby wake up!" I heard Bella shouting from beside me.
I opened one eye and glared at my wife, "Bella, I love you, but for the love of god why are you waking me up yelling? You know I'm not a morning person."
"Your album just hit number one on the Billboard charts!" My wife jumped up and down on the bed.
Now both of my eyes were open, "Wife, say what?"
She was squealing and at this moment she resembled Alice more than I've ever seen, "Isabella hit number one on our first anniversary!"
My jaw was on the floor, holy shit.
I didn't think making an album for the first time would ever amount to this.
Originally, I was just an executive and I wrote songs for a few artists. But after Bella and I married, I felt utterly inspired.
Taking a chance, I asked my label if they would consider putting out an album by me.
They said yes and here we are.
The New York Times called it "one of the best pop albums of the century."
And Pitchfork gave it a perfect score, virtually unheard of.
Now, this.
I couldn't believe it.
I sat up and pulled my wife down and kissed her.
Releasing her I said, "I couldn't have done it without you baby."
Her eyes began to water, "Oh Rose, I'm so proud of you."
"Thank you, Bella, for loving me, without you I wouldn't have written this album."
I grabbed the back of her head and kissed her before she could say anything else.
I made love to my wife that morning, many, many times.
We eventually came up for air and went to Bella's parents for Christmas day dinner.
3 Years After the Wedding
"Bella, are you sure about this?" I said putting on my earrings.
We were on our way to the Grammys.
After having won album of the year last year they invited me back.
I decided I would be a won album kind of gal.
The year after I released Isabella, Bella and I were able to tour the world, go to every music award show ever, and experience more than we ever dared.
However, after a year of utter chaos, I decided this wasn't the full-time job I wanted.
So I went back to songwriting full time and helped other artists fulfill their own dreams.
It was also awesome to go back to the Grammys with a few new nominations without all of the chaos.
However, my lovely wife was thirty-eight weeks pregnant with our first child.
I was terrified of her going into labor tonight.
However, she assured me she felt fine and that the first baby never comes early.
Alice had her twins two years ago and they were overdue by a few days so that supported her theory.
So with that Cullen logic, we were going to the Grammys.
"Rose, what did I tell you?" She put her hand on her hip and quirked a brow at me. She was picking up on the Hale btich brow.
I sighed, hugging her from behind stroking her belly through her gown.
"I know, I know, I'm being a worrywart. But you're having my baby. You should have excepted me to be a basket case."
My wife laughed at me, "Oh I was expecting that, and I love you for it. But right now we're going to have a lovely night out on the town and hopefully, I'll meet Beyonce again."
I rolled my eyes, my wife always loved meeting the stars at these things.
Four hours later though, my worst fear came true.
Our baby girl, Vanessa Hale Cullen came roaring into the world.
Barely making the hospital.
If Bella hadn't gone through painful labor, I would have said, "I told you so."
But I enjoyed being alive so I didn't.
5 Years After the Wedding
"Alrighty, ladies, let's see your baby." Dr. Denali said while putting the gel on my stomach.
I could swear I was already showing.
This time it was my turn to carry the baby, our last baby.
Bella and I decided one more baby was enough to complete our little family.
Our mothers expressed disappointment, but they had our siblings to rely on for more grandkids.
Jasper and Alice had one more baby since our little Vanessa, or Nessa, as we called her, arrived.
Emmett got hitched last year as well a wonderful woman named Angela and they were expecting their first child any moment.
They forgot to use protection on their honeymoon and low and behold Baby Cullen.
I joked with Bella, "Baby are you glad that'll never happen to us."
She sighed in relief and laughed with me.
Bella and I decided to go through another round of IVF when Nessa turned 2, we didn't want the kids too far apart in age.
We grew up with siblings close in age and we wanted the same for our kids.
Dr. Denali put the wand on my stomach and we heard our baby's heartbeat for the first time.
Of course, Bella and I immediately started crying.
However, it sounded different than Ness's sonograms, "Doc why is the heartbeat so fast?" I asked with slight anxiety.
The doctor looked at the screen and then chuckled, "Well it seems like you're having twins instead of just one baby."
"What?" Bella squeaked.
I fainted.
Damn the Hale twin gene.
10 Years After the Wedding
Rose POV
"Kids! Come on we're leaving!" I yelled from the bottom of the stairs.
I heard little feet running around and faint responses of "Yes Momma!"
"Will they ever be ready on time?" My wife of ten years said as she wrapped her arms around me.
Snorting I turned around and kissed her lips, "Nah babe, they're destined to be little hellions."
Bella laughed, "Well they are our kids."
Vanessa was now seven going on seventeen, and the twins, Marie and Garrett were both five years old.
Our oldest looked like a carbon copy of Bella. She also inherited her stubborn genes. Bella swears they're from me. They're not.
The twins looked like me, with Marie looking almost identical to me at that age. Garrett too, but he reminded me a lot of Jasper at that age.
Alice joked I made a new Rose and Jasper.
We were on our way to the Cullen's annual Labor Day BBQ in Long Island.
Esme threw a huge BBQ on Labor Day, refusing to celebrate the 4th because "the founding fathers were pricks" and instead of supporting Unions.
Gotta love my mother-in-law.
However, getting everyone out of the house was a chore in itself.
I was greeted by the sounds of footsteps on the stairs.
Vanessa flounced down in her red spring dress which she insisted on wearing with her matching red shoes.
Alice has way too much influence over her.
The twins barreled down too, wearing matching blue outfits.
My kids were cute as hell, even if they gave me hell.
"Alright my lovelies, let's get a move on." Bella clapped and started picking up bags and handing them to different kids.
The kids were staying over at Grandma and Grandpa's tonight while their mothers had a few hours to themselves.
Once we got settled in the car it was off to Grandma and Grandpas.
The radio started playing one of our favorite songs, We Are Young.
I took Bella's hand in mine and kissed it softly while singing "when the bar closes, I'll carry you home."
We weren't so young anymore, but we'd still have fun.
