Ladybug and Chat Noir tumbled into an abandoned building at the far end of Paris just as they detransformed. Hawkmoth's most recent Akuma led them all the way to one of the farthest corners of the city, far from both of their houses.
Adrien and Marinette were both laying on the cool concrete of the floor, their Kwamis on their chests, eating.
All four of them were laying in comfortable silence. They were too tired to talk.
When they ended the battle, the sun was just starting to set. Now, it was completely dark out.
"You ok, m'lady?" Adrien asked.
"Yeah," Mari sighed. "I'm ok. You?"
"I'm fine," He replied.
They laid there for a few more minutes before Adrien sat up, followed by Marinette.
"Where are we?" She asked.
"I have no idea," Adrien replied, then pulled out his phone. He plugged in his address and saw they were an hour's walk from his house. It was faster as Chat Noir with his staff, but not by much.
"Oh my god, we're so far from home," Mari exclaimed, putting her face in her hands. "I'm so tired."
Adrien stood up and walked towards Marinette, holding out his hand. "Come on, I'll walk you home."
She smiled and took his hand. "You mean fly?"
"Sure, princess," He laughed. They went to the window and called their transformation words and went flying over the rooftops of Paris.
When they made it back to Marinette's house, they both fell into her already-open skylight, landing on her bed and detransforming.
"Stay?" She asked, grabbing his hands.
"Sorry, m'lady, I can't," He lamented. "My dad will flip his shit if I'm not in my bed tomorrow morning."
"Ok," Mari leaned forward and kissed him. He gently laid her down on her bed while their lips were still connected, then pulled away.
"I love you, bugaboo, sleep well," He smiled.
"I love you, too, chaton," She smiled. "Text me when you get home."
"I will, I promise," He smiled, then called, "Plagg, claws out!" Before kissing his lady chastely one more time, then jumping out her skylight and crossing the city to his house.
