Recap : Kazuma enjoyed his life at the castle , met his little sister Iris and found the best blacksmith for his weapon.

Note : This chapter might be long as I am going to cover an important event.

He was relaxing in the mansion with the girls as usual, they have been living a pretty comfortable life for adventurers. They have a lot of money, they enjoy the best food, live in a mansion and have a really strong party. They have enough money that they don't even have to quests anymore.

Kazuma was still wondering about how to get Goddess's blood, so he only found it natural to question Chris since she is the most reliable when it comes to knowledge. So he asked at once, " Is there a way to get Eris-sama's blood? ".

Chris replied in panic, " Why do you even need her blood? "

" It's a secret, can you please help me out though? "

" Hmm... I see, I might be able to "

" I will do anything but, just get me her blood "

" Fine, I will let you know ".

As you all know, Chris is Eris-sama and she is in this form in order to collect the divine relics which have been left behind the adventures upon their death.

Chris leaves the mansion and asks her not to follow her. Kazuma is thinking about what to do next and suddenly an idea popped up in his mind. " Yun-yun , let's go do a quest. I have been getting bored lately and I want to increase my level. Shall we go? ", said Kazuma.

" Sure, let's head over to the guild "

As always yun-yun never says no, anyone can easily take advantage of her. So headed over to the guild where everyone welcomed us. We are kind of famous after recent incidents and we also got invitation from the Princess so that means we are recognised adventurers. We thanked them and headed towards the quest leaderboard and I found a suitable quest after just looking for a bit.

The quest was to defeat the Manticore and Griffon which have been fighting for territory near the mountain. He headed there at once, though yun-yun didn't like that idea but still she followed me. As usual yun-yun won't complaint, whatever you do. I was pretty confident in my power to kill the Manticore and the Griffon , after a short trip we were at the bottom of the hill. We started climbing it suddenly two griffons attacked us.

We dodged the attack somehow and gain balance and then Manticore swung it's tail right at me. He appeared out of no where. I took a big hit and went rolling down the tree, screaming in pain and then hit my back at a tree at the bottom of the hill. Yun-yun tried to come to help me but she was engaging with the two griffons. I was brutally hurt, the back might is hurting so much that I might not be able to stand. I was also bleeding since the Manticore striked me with his tail first right at my chest. Luckily, Yun-yun was safe so I started casting teleportation spell on both me and her. Soon, after that we again ended in Iris's bedroom.

Iris was shocked after seeing me, she was relaxing in her room and out of no where , his onee-san appeared pretty wounded along with one of his party member. Iris called the guards and asked them to help me and send the guards to call the Arch-priest. I had fainted, last thing I remembered was seeing Iris call for help after me and yun-yun appeared in her room.

I opened my eyes slowly and found myself resting on Iris's bed with Iris and Yun-yun sitting besides me and waiting for me to wake up. Claire and Rain were also there but standing and watching on me. Seems like my wounds have been healed and I tried getting up but Iris spoke up, " Onee-san you should rest, you had been badly injured. I think you should rest for today ".

" I can't, I was on a quest and I need to complete. I was just caught off guard ".

I explained about our fight and our quest and how I got in a condition like that. After my explanation was done, they seemed to understand.

" If you really want to do that quest then I will also go with you onee-san ", iris said.

" But will you be able to help me? You are so young ", I replied.

" Don't worry, we Royal bloods have more combat experience than anyone. I could probably kill them in one strike and I would like some monsters too ", iris said confidently.

Claire and Rain as always argued about it, but Iris convinced her and said that I could always teleport back if things out of hand. After that shot conversation , I got up and left at once with my teleport. We were outside my mansion, we went again to the location but this time Princess Iris was coming with us. Iris seemed really excited, she was holding on to my hand like a little child going outside for the first time. Well, I guess it's true since she has gone out for the first time and we have taken her responsibility. We reached the location after not too long, I came here to take my revenge this time around.

I asked both of them to wait here and let me go ahead, as I have to level the scores. They denied but I convinced them easily. The two griffons appeared again, with Manticore behind like last time. I used freeze instead dodging this time, I freezed their wings to avoid them from flying. They fell done, now the fight was on land. I started chanting explosion, my only offensive spell currently ( main reason for leveling up and visiting the blacksmith ). I poured thrice the mana, it generally requires and I teleported from there to avoid direct contact from explosion. I teleported towards the group and used freeze to make a safe wall in front of us for protection against the immense heat which will be generated. I leveled the hill with the explosion leaving no trace of those monsters behind, we were taking shelter in my freeze spell which yun-yun broke with fireball after situation calmed down a bit.

Iris was really happy and disappointed and said, " Onee-san you are so strong but I didn't get a chance to do anything. You took all three of them out with a single spell".

What she saying is correct but she should be happy so I decided to tease her a bit. Afterwards, I asked yun-yun to return to the mansion and I will be back after dropping the princess off. I took a look at my adventure card , I increased two levels. These monsters gave quite a bit of xp. I reached level 26, leaving me with 4 skill points. I teleported to the castle and dropped her off there but before leaving we had a discussion about how can she fight. I told her how about you host a tournament with a decent reward so that more and more people participate and you could also participate. If you win the tournament then, no one will doubt you and will let you roam a bit freely. She seemed to think that idea was actually pretty good and she said, she would try something.

I returned home and found out Chris still hasn't returned. I went to get dinner with yun-yun and returned him and went to my bed after taking a bath. I was lying on my mind and when I heard a knock on my door.

" Can I come in? ", said Chris

" Come in, door is unlocked ", I replied Chris after recognising her voice.

She came in and sat down on my bed and tried to speak but was a bit too nervous.

She managed the courage to speak and said, " Kazuma, I want to tell you something important but, you have to keep it a secret from everyone ". I thought about what is she going to say, but thinking about some scenarios my heart started pounding and I said, " Look, I am not interested in anyone of you so it's not worth trying ". She gave me confused expression and said, " It's not what you think, you idiot ". That made her calm down a bit and then she spoke again, " Umm... The thing is my real identity is not Chris ". I was shocked for a bit and then she said, " I am actually Goddess Iris ", saying that she switched out and she were in her goddess form. She always look like Eris but I never thought about it up untill now.

" Kazuma, I need your help. Will you help me? ", she said.

" Sure, but I need your blood in return "

" I showed you my true identity because I am going to give you anyways, idiot "

" Ok, so what is it that you want me to do? "

" Umm... Princess Iris is wearing a divine relic which I need to retrieve "

She explained me everything about the divine relic and told me that Iris might be in danger if don't take that relic from her. I started to think and said, " Let's go tomorrow to the castle and ask her to hand it over ". She said, " We can't let anyone known it's a divine relic, we have to get out hands on it secretly without anyone knowing ". She explained to me that if we were to ask for to keep if safe, they could say that it will be more safer in the hands of Royal kingdom than an adventurer party but I can seal it away since I am a goddess.

I thought about it for a while and said, " Iris is going to host a tournament soon, I am going to enter the tournament with a fake name and win it and then meet her and steal the item and then teleport away ". I told her plan which she seems to agree with. I told her that I need her blood as soon as possible so that I can order my sword to win the competition otherwise it would be really hard. Eris/Chris took her dagger out and sliced her hand and let her blood drip into the bottle on my table. She filled that small bottle with her blood and healed her hand after it was done. She told me, " There you go, but please I need your help. You have to do it anyhow, I believe in you ", saying that she left , changing back into Chris form.

Next morning, I rushed to meet Wiz to pick my items which she bought after my order. I took the items from her, paid her for the items. It costed me about 50M Eris. I teleported to the capital carrying the box, activated lurk to sneak out of the room, Iris was still asleep and I didn't want to wake her up. I rushed towards the blacksmith and gave him all the items and he was fascinated seeing the Goddesss blood which he asked me, how I managed to get my hands on it ? I replied, " I have my ways ". I left the store and told him to prepare my weapons in a week, before the tournament.

I went back to mansion to meet yun-yun, who was chilling in the house. I asked her, " Yun-yun, do you wanna go to your village? "

She replied, " Umm... I would love to but suddenly? "

" Nothing special, just wanted to visit your village "

She agreed and we told about our plans to Chris. We prepared our stuff and tomorrow, we Yun-yun can just teleport us there. My main plan is to go there for training and maybe I could I pick up some strong spells since I heard Crimson Demons are the smartest and best magic users of the nation.

As planned, we left in the morning after breakfast. We were standing at a big mansion after her teleport. She said, " I am the daughter of the village chief, this is my house ", pointing towards the mansion behind us. We didn't knew that she was the daughter of the village chief, that's something new. We went inside and her parents greeted me and Chris. Her parents were pretty nice, her father's name was Hiropo, classical Crimson Demon name.

We were roaming around and Yun-yun was showing around the town ( I am not going in much depth since you guys have already know about the town from LN , search Crimson Demon Town on google to see the map if you have any problem ) and we came accross a Library ( replace the museum with library in the town map ). We went inside and there were many books regarding spells, out of curiosity I asked, " Yun-yun, what are these books ".

" These are books regarding ancient magic and about the legend Satou who defeated the demon king. But, it is written in an ancient language so the scholars haven't been able to read it ".

I looked at the book to check it out and found out that this is just written in Japanese. So, there ancient language is Japanese, well that's kind of funny. Chris and I were able to read it without any problem but Chris didn't seemed interested in those books where as I kept reading them. In the end, Yun-yun and Chris left me to explore rest of the town. I found out in one of the books that the legendary hero Satou , armor and weapons is still there. I noted the location to try to find it out later. This guy had an armor which made him invincible and his sword could destroy anything and he was an adventurer class like me. He matches a lot like me, I thought to myself.

I started enquiring about the place mentioned and found out the ' Sword in the boulder ' is actually his sword. Nobody had any idea about it so treated as a normal sword and it's kinda getting old so they couldn't figure it out by seeing it. I went to the place and took out the sword from the boulder which triggered the crimson demons who were nearby. I gave them 1M Eris each and there were like 10 people so it worked out pretty well. I wasn't still sure, btw I learnt a magic that allows me store items in a different dimension and I can access the items by saying that spell again. I learnt this skill, costed me one skill point, just had to kill couple of monster to reach lv 27 and learnt the skill immediately. This skill was known as Magic Room, I stored this sword using magic room.

The rest of the day went pretty normal, we spent three days over there and then returned back to Axis town. Now, two days are remaining before the tournament. I also found out the location of the armor and to awaken the power of this sword, I need to get my hands on the armor as well. I cleaned the sword and it was looking really great. Its appearance was of a demonic blade with a sort of red orb at the handle which is supposed to glow indicating the true power has been awaken. I told my party members, I will be going on little training journey and told Chris alone that, I will return after attending the contest as well. She was glad to hear that and wished me good luck.

I went on my journey to find the armor and also picked up a skill called Heavy Armor from a stranger in exchange for some Eris. This skills allows the user to neglect the weight of the armor and allows then move like they aren't wearing the armor, giving them agility. I had to fight a ton of monsters on my way, even though this sword power hasn't been awaken yet but still it's better than any sword I have ever seen. I camped out in some places when I got tired, had my skill enemy detect skill on throughout the journey for safety. After a long journey, I reached a chamber with a grand door and lock hole was in the shape of the sword. I placed the sword carefully and opened the lock and took out my sword once it was opened.

I could see the beautiful armor in front of me but it wasn't so easy to get there, a dragon was guarding the way. It wasn't any normal dragon, it was a crimson dragon ( normal dragon with crimson colors and stripes across on its scale which were glowing ). I rushed towards me and in panick, I ran outside. The moment I stepped outside, he stopped following me and turned back. So I am safe if I don't enter the chamber. I attack the dragon with freeze, he got mad but didn't attack me. The attack was pretty effective, I froze his wings with that. I tried using lurk but he could still spot me. I was sitting outside, thinking of a way to deal with him since I don't wanna go without the armor at this point. It's almost evening time so if I don't hurry then, I would get into problem.

I came up with a plan, I decided to use freeze on the ground to lower his speed and used freeze on his legs as well. Since he couldn't fly, I used Bottomless Swamp to immobilize him and my plan worked. I rushed towards him in order to hit him with my sword. But, he hit me with fire but lucky for me, I used create water to avoid taking tons of damage. I had learnt healing since I have a lot of skill points, it costed me 3 skill points but it will be worth it. I healed my self up quickly and rushed at him again, predicting his fire. The moment he opened I used create water at him, spending tons of water down through his mouth cancelling the attack. I swing my sword " Shadow Sword " , used this skill to pierce through him and ended up beheading the dragon. I checked my adventure card to see what his name was, it was a sacred dragon. I am gonna ask someone about this later.

I checked my level to see, if I gain any levels or not since it was a tough opponent and, to my surprise, I jumped from lv 34 to 38. I had reached lv 34 , while dealing with the monsters throughout the journey. I have 19 skill points remaining which I have to spend later. I activated my skill, detect trap and moved carefully towards the armor hung near a pedestal. I avoided all the traps and found a book on the pedestal which was written thier so called ancient language ' Japanese '. I started reading it, it had many skills which made me excited that I could learn them all but, turns out this guy legendary hero Satou, wasn't an adventurer class instead he was a fallen God. People thought he was adventurer since he could learn all the skills but turns out he was a God.

It was a big let down, since I couldn't learn those skills since you need to be a God to learn them. But, there were three skills I could actually learn them. First one was Sacred Healing, this allows me to heal any kind of wound regardless how deep it is, even after a great blood loss I could save them instantly by this spell. This seems great to me since, life is really important. I learnt it costing me 5 skill points, fairly cheap for a sacred skill. Second one was Sacred Blade, this allows me to use my sword as a long range weapon. I could strike my sword in my air and it would sent a similar strike down the path hitting the target standing. This allows me to use my sword as a long range weapon, I guess I don't need a bow anymore. I learnt it, costed me 10 points, leaving me with 4 points remaining. The last skill which I could learn is sacred barrier, this allows me to create a barrier wherever I want, a barrier which can't be easily destroyed. This is a great skill to protect someone but, it costs 10 skill points so I need to level up a bit before learning it.

Now, it's time for the armor. I read about it the book, this armor will turn invisible after wearing it but it will still be there but no will be able to see it. In order to wear it or remove it, you need to have the sacred sword in your hand and you need to say ' Oh, great sacred armor, let me please wear you '. This armor turned out to be both invisible and invincible. It was a pretty heavy armor but because of my skill, heavy armor, I shouldn't have problems. I wore the armor by saying those words and it become invisible as said by the book. My red stone started glowing in the handle of my sword indicating I have equipped the armor. I read about this too, I can't use any of the sacred offensive attacks ( sacred barrier and sacred healing aren't included ) mentioned in the book if this sword stone isn't glowing so that was a good sign.

I went out to train some levels in order to learn sacred barrier, it was night time so finding monsters were a bit hard but it didn't took too long. After grinding monsters for sometime, I reached lv 41 and now I had 10 skill points which I used in sacred barrier instantly. I was really impressed by the swords power, it didn't use any mana in order to use the sacred moves so I could spam them if I want. In order to use them, the only requirement was equip this sword and armor. I slept the night away after completing my goal.
