Meanwhile, back at the house, Lisa was in attempt to making some sort of trap for whenever she could go out to find such creatures, when she heard the phone from downstairs.
Rushing out of her room, she quickly picks up and hears Lincoln on the other side.
"Lisa! Zap and I need something to contain this Nidoking! In the franchise, such creatures are captured in these devices called pokeballs. Can you possibly make something like that?"
Lisa already knew of such devices, having plenty of time since Luna put everyone on the house on lockdown, to research more and found of the capturing device.
"I will try big brother. In return, any creatures you, Lana, or anyone else in our family whom sure to join in catches, will be researched by me."
Lincoln grumbled, a large bang with the following sound of a fallen tree shakes him out of the phase, "Alright! But hurry! Lana and Thorn are helping evacuations and might be able to come help, but if we don't get this guy soon the military might show up soon and experiment on him!"
Lisa scolded, "Of course they would...ones not even I could condone that's for sure. Hang tight big brother, I shall get you such device to capture the rhinoceros like being."
Lincoln hanged up and sighed, looking back at Zap whom seem to get more and more tired as the battle ranged on.
"Hurry soon Lisa, cause things aren't looking too good."
Lisa begins to make this a replica of a pokeball.
Luckily she'd already been researching various ways to design such a device, so much it only took a few minutes.
The design was different from a regular pokeball, it had an ocean blue cover on the top, and on the bottom was an orange cover with her brother's name on it.
She also designed said models with her other siblings' names separately, as it was only a matter of time they too find one to catch.
Still, she hadn't got enough time to test it out, "I sure hope this thing works."
She then gets her dart gun and manages to sneak past Luna in a rush.
Luna on the other hand, was watching more of the news about pokemon being real, with more sightings popping up by the hour. Most people were still questioning if such were robots, aliens, or mutants that look just like pokemon.
The mayor already asking for everyone to stay inside until the military arrive to take down the creatures.
Luna frowns, "I hope Lincoln and Lana get back home safe. I didn't mean to be so harsh with them, I just don't want them to get hurt...or killed." Tears now sprung on all the sibling's faces as they heard her through the muffled voices on the tv.
Lisa rushes to the park, "I'll be able to get there in about five minutes, hopefully I can get Lincoln first before the military."
"Coo!"
"Ahh!" Lisa jumps, her dart gun drops on the ground alongside the two pokeballs she was carrying, "What on earth are you?" Lisa question.
Lisa squinted her eyes, she had studied many Pokemon, and while this giant owl clearly was one of them, she couldn't figure out what Pokemon it was, but she had a feeling the red and gold feathers weren't usual.
Lisa pushes up her glasses and looks at the owl, "I propose we work together, you see my older brother and sister are in need of help. So may you help giant owl?"
"Coo." The owl chirps before taking up to the sky just a couple feet above her.
"Thank you! They are in the park a couple blocks from here, you may see there is much commotion and noise."
With that the two take off, Lisa in her mind hoping Lana doesn't get involved with the fight, let alone before she gets there. Alongside that her brother in said fight is okay.
"Lincoln!"
"Koo!"
Lincoln turns just as Zap lands another quick attack on the beast, "Lisa? And is that?..."
Lisa shakes her head as she goes over and hands him her invention, the ones custom for him of course, "Now isn't the time! Catch the Nidoking before anyone else comes by!"
The Noctowl meanwhile tries to go help Zap, landing a couple confusions that get the poison type to back into a tree at times.
Lincoln looks on the battle in front of him, grasping his newly made pokeball, shakes his head before turning to Lisa, "No Lisa, this is your catch," he places a hand on her tiny shoulder as he bends to one knee, "go for it."
The tiny scientist, while trying not to show fear nods, "I-I'll try."
She looks towards the Nidoking, on one knee as well as the owl's attacks were doing much more damage then Zap.
She pulls out of her pocket one of her custom pokeballs, she hadn't really planed for this, but here goes nothing.
"I catch you Nidoking!" With a line drive throw that would make their sister Lynn jealous, lands on the Nidoking's left leg thigh (she was only four, not the greatest height ratio), and watches as the familiar red light sucks in the beast into the ball capsule.
They both stay silent for a few minutes, but then Lisa walk towards the pokeball.
She picks it up and stares at it, knowing that she just caught not only her first creature of such a kind like Zap, but also one that could destroy the whole town if she isn't careful.
Shaking her head, she turns her head back to her older brother, "Lincoln, are you and zap alright?"
Zap from a couple feet away just purrs before climbing up on Lincoln's left shoulder.
The boy nods, "Yes we're fine, glad you made it just in time before we could of gotten really hurt by the Nidoking."
He then looks around at the clear battlefield, with damaged trees and slight charred grass, "We better get go before the military arrive, and start to ask questions on what happened here."
"Pikachu" Zap nods in agreement.
"Koo"
Lincoln, now realizing the giant owl, looks at Lisa whom just shrugs, "This creature wanted to come and help, lead me to you, guess now wants to join me."
Lincoln and Lisa (whom does catch the Noctowl) run out of the forest just in time to before a military squad swarms the area.
On the other hand, Rose sat behind a tree, and after she puts her phone in her pocket, with the whole battle recorded mind you, realizes one thing.
"Now how can I get home?"
Her planning was interrupted when one of the the soldiers spoke, "Sure whatever had happened here, it seems like the creature is long gone."
"Keep searching men, this creature got powers and that could take down a entire town if we're not careful...we must catch it."
The higher up, which Rose assumed was some general, looked around, and probably would of gone further into the forest...if her phone didn't start to ring.
"No no no!" Rose in frantic as she tries to turn the volume off, or her phone, anything to not get caught.
"Go look over there!"
"Yes sir!"
The group slowly move over to the tree Rose hid at, and now scared for her life, she thought this might be the end.
But then one of the soldier's stops, and points up at the tree, "What the hell is that!?"
Rose too slowly looked up, only to see another blue portal had just opened.
Out of the portal a strange creature appears.
It was clear white, with a purple tail and underbelly, and eyes that seemed to be of curiosity and light...that is until he was face to face with the armed soldiers.
"Another world, another army after me it seems...may I ask who are you?" His voice shook Rose to her core, a shiver up her spine that somehow made her stay where she was despite the danger.
The general walks in front the creature.
"Men lower your guns, we mean no harm towards it." the general speaks, having said soldiers lower their guns despite them all scared out of their wits.
"A very wise decision you just made, though whether or not your hunting me is to question."
"I always made the wise decision for my men. We were assigned to capture a purple looking beast some have called a Nidoking. Now may I ask whom are you?" The general says soft spoken.
The creature tilts his head slightly, "I am Mewtwo, I speak to you through telepathy, a common trait you'll see if any psychic type Pokemon appear. Speaking of Pokemon, the Nidoking is out of danger. You humans won't need to worry of him anymore."
The general's eyes went wide, "He just...left?"
Mewtwo shrugs, "Whether or not, there is no danger from him any longer."
With that he rises into the sky, looks at the general in a solemn stare, "Do not try to harm said Pokemon that come to this world, they will not harm others unless provoked. Perhaps get whomever correctly named said Pokemon, and get more so more understanding is brought into this world."
He then flies off at rocket speed, creating a gust in his wake that flew soldier's and the general's hats to the ground.
Rose quickly runs as quick as she can, now getting the feeling in her legs again, and swears to delete the recording.
Meanwhile Mewtwo flies in the clouds, blending in as he thinks to himself, 'A boy with a Pikachu...it seems no matter the universe there shall always be such a pair I will have to meet.'
The two siblings just arrived back at home as they heard the family van park in the driveway.
They both knew they might be in big trouble for almost getting hurt, and so Lincoln tried to distract the genius by more of pokemon, and how they act in the wild.
"...So your saying I can only have six pokemon...why?" Lisa questions as the two sit on the family room couch. Lana was in the kitchen with Thorn making a sandwich before she too comes over to listen.
Lincoln shrugs, "I don't know, but that is the rules."
Lisa looks down at her both pokeballs in her hands, and wonders what other dangerous creatures could be out there?
How many portals were open around the world, and why?
Before she could think further, they heard the front door open to see Luna and their mom looking at them both with a glare, before running towards them and giving them a big hug.
"Lincoln! I thought you had gotten hurt!" Luna cried.
"I thought my children would of gotten hurt, but I'm so glad that your alright" Rita cries, not realizing Lana and Thorn (using his vines) joined in on the hug.
"Mom, Luna we're all fine. Thanks to Lisa making some pokeballs, alongside her new friend...Thunder are you calling him? Was able to catch the Nidoking with her pokeball without anyone getting hurt." Lincoln smiles at the end before ruffling Lisa's hair, whom just pushes him slightly to stop.
Zap climbs down off of Lincoln's shoulder then to go and play with the loud pets and Thorn.
"Pika-pika."
Everyone watches them all go upstairs to play, before Rita looks back at her children.
"Well you did save the town from that thing, but this doesn't mean the both of you are getting away from this." Rita says sternly, making the young three siblings gulp, well more Lincoln and Lisa, as Lana didn't get involved too much.
Luna nods, "Yeah man, mom was searching all over town and in the woods for you two. The military had just arrived, and just be glad you didn't get into any trouble with them."
Lincoln, Luna, and Rita then see Thunder (whom Lisa released while the two spoke), fly on top of the couch, moving his head around as he eyed the place.
"So...lets talk about the giant owl later." Rita says still in shock, but shakes her head and glares back at them, "You two will be grounded for two weeks. Lana you'll be grounded for one week since you didn't get too involved in the case. That means no science experiments, mud pies, or comic book reading for the any of you."
Lincoln sighs in defeat, "That's fair, we deserve it."
Rita then nods solemnly, before going into the kitchen to start on some lunch, leaving the three young siblings to tell Luna of their adventure, not leaving a single thing out, that lead to the family room fill with laughter and cheer.
