Hey guys! Its been a while, but I was thinking for Subaru's true awakening of power should I make him just be able to control his heroic spirits powers or should I make him install a class like shirou did In oath under snow or should I do a Sieg from apochrypha? Also I've changed it so that Rem arrives at the loot house instead but I don't know if it has changed on previous chapters or not so just a heads up if you're confused. Anyways tell me what you think and as always, I hope you enjoy!

Chapter 4: Identity
Subaru and Emilia were in the carriage on the way back to her benefactor's mansion after the battle with the bowel hunter, which surprised both sides when Subaru managed to finish the bowel hunter Elsa Granhiert with one punch, completely caving her skull inwards and launching her a good 15-20 feet backwards into a wall
"What was that power? I've never seen a magic that directly increases someone's strength that much to crush someone's skull, maybe it was earth magic or perhaps a divine blessing?" mused Emilia to nobody but was overheard by a certain flying cat and blue haired maid
'Strength enhancing to a calibre of that level?' thought the blue haired maid, slightly surprised by the level of strength being described
"Well Lia, not like we can ask him since he up and left us to go to dreamland while we're here worried about him" Puck contemplated telling Emilia about the heavy coat of iron and steel that puck could smell, but thought against it considering Subaru was the only friend she had had in almost a hundred years, so he was willing to let his daughter socialise as long as he was nearby to protect her
"I know…" Spoke Emilia dejectedly "I just wish I could do something to make it up to him, I mean he almost died trying to save me!" Emilia remarked almost raising her voice in a nervous and anxious tone as she wondered when the boy would wake from his slumber 'He looks really peaceful when he is asleep… its kind of cute' Emilia immediately realised what she said and blushed a little and turned her head away from Subaru 'Huh!? What am I thinking I can't think like that, I just met him after all and he would probably hate me if he found out a silver haired half elf found him cute…' Emilia looked at the floor slightly depressed, remembering the reason behind all the prejudice she faces was because she had an uncanny resemblance to the worst evil humanity has ever seen in their whole existence. The witch of envy. Epitome of all evil in the world. 'Yet he still ran in to save me like I was just an ordinary person' she giggled to herself 'He really is silly, huh?'
"Anyway Lia, I wonder what he is dreaming about" Mused The cat, once again rising to lay upon Emilia's head, as if he was destined to be there for all eternity
"Yeah I wonder, I hope it's nice in dreamland for him" said Emilia as she appeared to be losing focus on everything around her before she fell victim to exhaustion
In dreamland, or as Subaru called it 'land where I question my sexuality as all I dream about is grown men with white hair standing in front of me with an intimidating aura' Subaru shivered at the thought that this was the case and hoped to god that it was something to do with his power and not his sexuality
"I am the bone of my sword…"
"Steel is my body and fire is my blood…"
"I have created over a thousand blades…"
Subaru once again found himself upon the hill of swords however there was a distinct difference this time, he found that he could actually see the man's figure, undistorted this time, and man did he look intimidating
His face was In a permanent light scowl and he stood an impressive 6 feet 2 inches, was built like a tank and had an a thousand yard stare which could peer into the soul and tell you your own secrets.
He was wearing a black combat vest with silver highlights travelling vertically up the vest which highlighted his abs, he also wore a red cape at the top of his back which extended down to his arms covering them In a light crimson, his outfit of crimson continued down his back to his cape which draped down by his legs and lightly drifted in the wind, he wore black trousers which were covered in belts and straps followed by his silver coloured boots
"So, you actually did it, despite not knowing how to use your magical circuits, and to such a refined level, perhaps you have talent. Well, Natsuki Subaru, are you prepared to walk through hell itself to reach this impossible goal of ours?"
"It doesn't matter, as long as there are people to save, it should be clear what the answer is!" Subaru gave a toothy grin and a wink while giving a thumbs up
"So, it appears you have decided, to walk through hell so willingly, you remind me so much of my younger self it's almost irritating, anyway you are not worthy of knowing my true name so…"
…
"For now, I am… Archer" Retorted 'Archer' as he looked down upon Subaru with a small smile and spoke again
"And I am here to help you achieve your desire. To be a hero. One who saves everyone with a smile, to be a hero means willingly sacrificing all of you every fight, to help without discrimination and to constantly face against insurmountable odds and you will face loss… are you willing to face this to become a hero?"
Subaru spoke with an air of confidence
"No, I am not."
Archer looked shocked before Subaru continued
"I will be a hero who saves Everyone, no one will suffer and I will be the shield and the spear who saves all with a smile" Subaru once again spoke with confidence and smiled and looked straight at Archer and spoke again "And even if that meant I have to save you too" Subaru spoke with a degree of confidence and kindness
Slightly shocked that someone would need to save him, but then again, he had no idea who he was speaking to, he wanted to keep it that way for he was not worthy of learning his true name yet and archer sure as hell knew he couldn't mess this up, Subaru was the only chance for his unrealistic, yet heroic and inspirational, ideals to finally be grasped.
"Getting a bit cocky after having a little bit of my power? Rather foolish but I don't blame you, it would be strange to not feel prideful after that stunt you pulled off with no training." Archer mused with a sense of his own pride before looking at Subaru who was getting ready to speak with a smug grin and full of overbearing confidence
"Hmm? I suppose I did well but it was noth- Wait! What even was that!? How did I do it, tell m- And wait, your power! You have some explaining to do 'Archer'" retorted Subaru who had spoke at an almost inhuman speed and if not for Archer being a heroic spirit, he would not have understood anything
"One question at a time! For gods sake" A sigh escaped Archers lips as he started to get his head around how his new 'partner' acted 'Foolish, over-confident and determined. Reminds me of my old self' Archer reminisced as an unnoticeable smile rose to his lips which quickly disappeared as soon as it came "Well first what you used is called magecraft"
"Magic!" Subaru interrupted, sounding excited like a little puppy getting adopted from a shelter
"No, Magecraft, it's far different and the process to use it is slightly different but for now you can only use reinforcement and only under life or death situations can you use it at full potential, but the problem lies with your magical circuits" Archer spoke solemnly as he knew that he may have to forcibly create/widen his magical circuits, which would cause utmost agony and gut wrenching pain but if Subaru wanted to become a hero, it was a necessary sacrifice
"Magical circuits? What are they then and how do they relate to what I did back in the slums?"
"Magical circuits are like circuits, as the name implies, or a pseudo-nervous system that mana and refined mana , prana, travel through that allow you to use magecraft amd the quality of the magecraft and spells depend on the state of magical circuits" Archer gave a sad look towards Subaru "Which unfortunately for you, your magic circuits are in pretty bad condition which means using magecraft is near impossible"
"But then how did I use it befo-" Subaru was interrupted by Archer whose expression nobody could get a read on
"You were in serious pain right? Like molten lead was being poured onto every nerve in your body? That's because instead of your dormant magical circuits being used, you used your actual nervous system which is why it caused so much pain and if used recklessly it could cause permanent damage" Archer spoke without regard for the shock on Subaru's face, Archer did not care, Subaru needed to learn quickly the risks that came with this desire, to be a hero but to his surprise Subaru put on a toothy grin
"But nothing happened so it's alright! Even if something did happen, as long as I saved Emilia-tan it's ok!" Subaru retorted with a surprising amount of enthusiasm, considering he had just been in a battle for his life and was sleeping, talking to some random person in his head
"No regard for your own life" Archer chuckled to himself "You really are just like the old me, willing to risk permanent damage for one person you barely know"
"Wait so what happened to you in your pa-"
"You don't want to know" it was short but effective, Archer had said it with no emotion on his face and an unreadable tone of voice
"We have unfortunately run out of time, it is time for you to re-enter the waking world, however I leave you with a hint, be wary of the blue haired one, she's more than meets the eye and knows more than she lets on" Confused, Subaru tried to ask Archer what he had meant but he found himself leaving the hill of swords and Archer gave him one parting message
"Good luck, from one hero to another, I hope you don't have to follow the same path I was forced to walk"
"-aru!"
'Huh? Is someone saying something'
"-ke up, Subaru!"
'Oh, Emilia is calling me, I should probably get up now'
Pouting, Emilia continued trying to wake Subaru up, they were at the mansion. It was huge, a lush garden out front with well kept bushes, ferns and other flowers which extended to the lavish entrance, which retained a perfect sense of elegance, there were two lamps on either side of the door on a pillar for the separate lights, it had high end and expensive architecture and vases with flowers by each door as well as lamps for each door, around the mansion was a massive forest which had a several dirt paths, one of which led down to a small village known as Arlem village.
"Mouu~! Subaru wake up!" Emilia, still pouting, shouted at a barely awake Subaru. Who groggily opened his eyes, he ached all over and had trouble standing, let alone walking so Subaru got Emilia to help him. And to Subaru's shock and embarrassment, she picked him up bridal style and carried him towards the door
"I perhaps should have informed you of that before you came back"
Subaru practically jumped out of his own skin when he heard the familiar but smug sounding voice from his own head, he could almost see the smug grin that Archer was giving him in his head and hear him laughing to himself about being carried like Subaru was
Trying to ignore the smug reaction he got, he swiftly moved on
'I'm guessing I am the only one who can hear you then?' Subaru asked Archer, who was somehow in his head
"You catch on quick kid, yeah we are talking through a sort of telepathy all though it can be intercepted and people can hear what we are saying albeit at the cost of me knowing who did it, however you have to be quite skilled to do that, henceforth, I think we don't have to worry about that for now" Archer spoke quickly but not too fast so that Subaru had no idea what he was saying but he got the gist of it, then he had a revelation
'Hey what about Puck!?'
"Puck?" Archer asked with a hint of curiosity
'You know! That flying cat that Emilia-tan had with her!'
"Oh, right, yeah it probably can, I could sense a huge reservoir of mana and he seemed unfairly overpowered so be wary of him too" Archer warned Subaru and then Subaru sighed and said aloud
"Now I have two to worry about, this day just can't get any worse, can it?" mused Subaru to nobody in particular
"Hmm? What was that Subaru?" Asked Emilia, as she slightly overheard something about 'two now'? something along those lines
"Oh it was nothing Emilia-tan!" Subaru produced one of his signature fake toothy smiles and waited for a response from Emilia
"Gosh Subaru, you're such a dunderhead!" Subaru felt a warm feeling sinking in his stomach as she watched Emilia smile the brightest, purest smile, devoid of any ulterior motives, he knew this feeling well… Love, in it's most pure form and Subaru was able to bring up a true, serene, and completely authentic smile
'I need to protect that'
"Hahaha! Couldn't be me, you however are a different topic" spoke archer with a condescending tone, looking down upon Subaru for his widely embarrassing mistake and wondering when he was going to realise
'What do you me-' Subaru gasped loudly before realising. He slowly turned around to look at a bright crimson Emilia whose face was buried down in her knees and slowly rocking back and forth with a bit of an embarrassed smile
'He wants to protect me! But he just met me and I look like this…' thought Emilia with tinge of sadness and pang of guilt through her heart, she'd always wanted this but Subaru seemed like an airhead so she felt like she was taking advantage of poor Subaru who hadn't even realised that she looked that way. Her mind drifted back to what puck said previously 'He has the witches scent', 'there's no way he is a member of the witches cult, he is far too nice and he has already sacrificed himself to save us if anything… he is a hero, to me at least, so even if he smells like her, I'll be better than everyone else and accept him, after all who wouldn't accept someone like him, he is soo~ lively and makes me happy, maybe d-do you t-think he'd b-be my fr-friend' Emilia thinks to herself
'Wow Lia! I didn't think you felt this strongly about him, already got you huh?'
'Puck! That was soo~ embarrassing, why didn't you tell me before that you were here! Mouu~ puck, you meanie! What if Subaru heard that I said he is my hero and asking him to be my friend!' Emilia, while blushing and pouting, 'thought' to puck
'Pfft! Hahaha! Yeah Emilia, it would be a shame if he found out wouldn't it?!'
Now it was Emilia's turn to be confused, the calm before the storm.
'Puck what are you tal- No, I didn't did I!? Puck, tell me!' asked Emilia frantically, hoping she didn't do what all the signs are pointing to, so like Subaru, she slowly turned around to meet Subaru's eyes who were shining and filled with warmth and kindness, he had a huge, ear to ear prideful smile
"Of course I'd be your friend Emilia-tan I couldn't find anything to make me happier" Subaru said, completely unaware of how embarrassed this would make Emilia, and held out his hand to Emilia "Hey Emilia-tan, let's be friends" once again, Subaru spoke with a smile filled with warmth, love, compassion and understanding and his eyes shimmering filled with hope and determination to protect and save everyone, and this spoke leaps and bounds to Emilia
"Even if I look like this?" She asked, with a tinge of sadness in her voice
"I think you look cute" Came the unexpected reply "No never mind, you look drop dead gorgeous" Subaru said with a completely straight face and though Emilia was blushing madly and was happy she had to press on
"Even though I'm a half elf, and I have amethyst eyes!?"
"I like those things about you, the half elf part, well I think your ears are cute for a start, and I like how it means your different from the rest of the humans, it shows diversity. And your eyes, they are endless pools of warmth and compassion and determination, I could get lost looking into them all day, they reflect the gentle, kind personality that you have, they shine in the dark of this carriage which outlines you beauty, your shimmering eyes, your shining, snow white hair and radiant pale skin which glows in the dark, yo-"
Subaru was interrupted by a teary eyed Emilia who was choking back her tears and trying desperately to stay calm "But I look like the witch of envy! The incarnation of all evil!"
"But the Emilia-tan that I know could never be like that, I may have only known you for a day now but I can tell, you have a truly kind heart, you do your best, you try to see the best in everyone, and you are constantly trying to improve yourself, you even tried to save those thieves who stole your insignia" he took a pause and then continued "There's no way Emilia-tan could be the 'incarnation of all evil' because the Emilia I know is a great person who always tries her best… Emilia, you are a hero by all accounts." Subaru's usually sharp and hard eyes softened up as he spoke this, and he smiled a warm and understanding smile filled with comfort and happiness
That was all it took for the dam to break, Emilia started bawling all over Subaru choking on her tears and voice
"Subaru! -Sniff- i-it's been hard, I tried so much bu-but was discriminated against s-so much, I wa-wanted t-to he-help but-but they just kept c-calling m-me a half de-devil and h-how I-I sho-should be k-killed for m-my crimes. And I di-sniff-didn't e-even do an-anything wrong! I-it hurt s-so much a-and I wa-was soo~ lo-lonely. Emilia stopped for a second to catch her breath "B-but then c-came along Subaru a-and i-I've never fe-felt s-so happy be-before because so-someone fin-finally accepts m-me for who i-I am!" Emilia, still teary eyed, looked up at Subaru and gave the biggest most pure and thankful smile possible for someone to give and said "Thank you Subaru,-sniff- you are my hero!"
To say Subaru was shocked was an understatement, he was practically unresponsive partly out of anger, partly out of relief. Anger that so many people would discriminate against her just because she looks like somebody and has no relation to her, Relief that she is no longer bottling up and that she was talking about it but Subaru was not finished yet. He pulled Emilia into his embrace, Emilia was shaking and crying, Subaru was almost afraid she'd break if he wasn't careful but he chose to press on
"And I'll always be here for you, Emilia-tan, I will always be there when you need me. You only need to call me!" Subaru spoke enthusiastically but with a tint of kindness and solace
Subaru then went on to whisper sweet nothings into Emilia's ear until she fell victim to exhaustion then Archer spoke
"Quite the sweet talker I see, you truly are a danger to all women"
'Hey! I was comforting her in her time of need, she just looked like she needed help and before I know it she's in my arms thanking me for what I did with tears in her eyes!'
"Womaniser" Archer spat with a playful yet condescending tone
'Why do I even try with you' sighed Subaru
"Yahallo Subaru! I must say you are quite the sweet talker, you even made me feel a bit emotional… but thank you Subaru, you really helped her there and I'm forever grateful but we need to talk about something more serious"
"Be careful what you say here, he's being serious now so only speak the truth"
"I can tell if you're lying so tell me, who have you been talking to, I've been noticing that you sometimes make random faces or sigh out of nowhere so tell me" Puck spoke with an air of seriousness
'what do I tell him!?' asked Subaru with a sense of panic and urgency
"The truth, because if not, he's going to think you are suspicious and probably kill you off"
Subaru shivered at that thought, dying once already was enough and he certainly did not want to die by getting pierced by an icicle, now that would hurt
'Ok but what do I say, oh I'm talking to archer, as if he's supposed to know that that means!' Subaru was now getting irritated due to the fear of getting killed
"I am a counter guardian or basically a spirit in simpler terms"
'so I say that then, got it' said Subaru who was finally relieved that they reached an answer to stop him from getting impaled like the ottomans who fought Vlad III and were used as examples
"Right, so Puck, he is a spirit!" Subaru finally spoke, trying to stay calm, trying not to be made an example of
"Oh! Why didn't you say so, so can I see him?" asked Puck, the seriousness gone, happy to see another spirit
Subaru audibly gulped at this 'hey you can, you know, visualize right? Please tell me you can!'
"Yes, I can but it's going to take a lot of mana so not for long" Archer returned as he started to visualize and Subaru could already feel the consequences for this and hoped Puck didn't want to look for long
"Hey Puck, don't mean to rain on your parade but this isn't too good on my body so could you hurry it up"
Puck wasn't listening as he was feeling something he hadn't felt in a while, fear. His aura was that of death, but greater strength and experience that Puck couldn't even hope to ever have. He had the feeling he didn't want to know the kind of experience Subaru's spirit has
Trying to hide his fear, he started a new line of questioning "Hey Subaru, who is that spirit and what element is he a spirit of?"
"Hmm? He hasn't told me his name but he calls himself Archer and I don't know what element he is, to be fair he just talks down to me all condescendingly and smugly" Subaru threw a half playful glare at Archer who returned one back
"You deserve it sometimes, womaniser" Retorted Archer towards Subaru which was overheard by Puck
"No! Please, stop calling me that! Anything else! Have mercy!" screamed Subaru as he clutched the sides of his head trying to block out the words Archer spoke
"Anything else? You sure about that?" Archer snickered which was followed by a devilish grin and a smug follow up "I'm going to think of the perfect name for you."
Subaru had now given up all hope and sighed again "God is dead! The end is near!"
"Anyway, Subaru, it's weird but I can't sense any magic element coming from your spirit, at the mansion we have betty who is a yin spirit but I don't know about your spirit" Puck was slightly confused, he was definitely looking at a spirit but one with no element? That can't be possible, can it?
"I don't feel comfortable with telling either of you my 'element' yet but maybe another time" Archer spoke with a casually but with a serious undertone that went unnoticed by Subaru but not by Puck who knew not to press any further
"Anyway, how much fur- "
Subaru and the rest of the carriage heard a massive explosion not to far off so they changed courses to go to Arlem
"Hey hey hey! What's going on! Anyone want to fill me in on this!?" Subaru was panicked and rightly so, the witch's cult were attacking
"Tch! I think it was the witch's cult" Puck said solemnly
"Hey what does that mean? Are the villagers ok, will they get hurt!?"
"If it's the witch's cult… they'll probably be killed" Puck was completely serious and what surprised everyone present was when Subaru launched out of the carriage towards the explosions
"Then that means we can't just sit here and do nothing! I'm going down there to do something, stay here if you don't feel safe enough!" Subaru was happy when he saw all of his companions, including Emilia who woke up after the explosion and heard what was going on, get out of the carriage and follow after Subaru
"Of course, we're going with you Subaru, a chance to kill witch cultists isn't just an everyday occurrence" shouted Puck as he chased after Subaru with the rest of his new party
"If I stay visualized I'm going to drain all of your mana, so I'll disperse so you have more mana for the upcoming fight, be warned, I sense something truly evil down there" Archer warned Subaru, which seemed to put him on edge as hearing someone like archer, who sounded like he had been through everything you could throw at a man, warn him about 'something truly evil' sounded as if he was going to fight this 'incarnation of evil' Emilia was on about earlier, but nevertheless, he would be on guard for anything and everything
They finally reached the village and the sight would bring any sane person to their knees, vomiting the contents of their stomach in front of them. Men and women were brutally mutilated and had many body parts and the such missing and/or torn off with ornate daggers littering the ground, covered in the villager's blood.
"Hey, were there children here at all?" Subaru asked coldly, devoid of emotion
Rem spoke up first "From the times that I came to get supplies, yes. I believe there were children here"
Subaru winced, then clenched his hands till he was drawing blood which didn't go unnoticed by anyone present but decided not to push it, they had far more pressing matters at the moment. They met a kid who had managed to sneak away from the fight who said she was called Petra Lyte
"Excuse me, Petra, were there any other kids around before you left?" Subaru said, trying to hide the anger in his voice, he first needed information before he ran into fight these cultists, as much as he could get
"Y-yes th-there w-w-were a f-few there, a-all of m-my friends w-were be-being held ho-hostage an-and I-I ju-just sn-snuck o-off and le- "
"Thank you, Petra, you just helped save those kids, if you didn't find me those kids would've died because we wouldn't have found them, so thank you Petra, you did a great job, now could you go up to that mansion up on that hill over there like a good girl" Subaru pointed over to the mansion while ruffling her hair lightly
She was teary eyed and terrified but still made one more request "Please mister, save them!"
"Of course, what kind of hero would I be if I didn't save them." Subaru took a breath and put on a determined smile "I will save them"
Petra looked at Subaru with admiration in her eyes and a small blush on her face but listed to the hero and ran to the mansion and prayed with all of her heart that he would be able to save them but she had a feeling that everything would be ok, it was something about that smile, a completely reassuring smile that showed determination incomparable to anything she had seen before and it made her feel inspired.
Subaru ran towards an opening in the woods where he saw the kids, round up in a circle, looking as if they were about to be executed so Subaru, without thinking, rushed in to save them when Archer practically screamed at him
"Hey, watch out! Direct left"
On instinct Subaru ducked, only to see a dark purple borderline black hand fly past where he once stood
'The hell was that!' thought Subaru who was still sprinting towards the kids at full speed when he was stopped in his tracks by a disgustingly pale man whose eyes were almost certainly bulging out of their sockets, he had green hair which stopped just above his eyes and his sunken cheeks were oddly terrifying
"Oh, how diligent! You! YOU! YOU! YOU! YOU ARE TRULY DILIGENT!" spoke the disgustingly freaky man, his voice was kind of high pitched but it was constantly changing so it wasn't easy to tell his original voice
"I am sin archbishop of the witch's cult representing SLOTH! Betelguese Romanee-conti. DESU!" he bent in ways that should not be possible and almost broke his neck tilting it to talk to Subaru
"And I am Natsuki Subaru, a hero who saves everyone with a smile" He gave a huge, radiant smile and eyes which showed determination "And I will Save those kids, whether you try to stop me or not!"
"DILIGENCE! FOR DILIGENCE I SHOW DILIGENCE! BEHOLD, AUTHORITY OF SLOTH, UNSEEN HANDS!"
Betelguese sent a couple of his 'Unseen hands' which were very visible to Subaru indeed
"What are you talking about 'unseen hands', I can see them!" Subaru watched his expression change from crazed ecstasy to shock to seething hatred as he dodged all of his hands
"MY LOVE! PROOF OF MY LOVE! MY AUTHORITY, HOW CAN YOU SEE IT! ONLY I SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE IT!"
"Well maybe your 'love' isn't so real or diligent, it might even be a love triangle!" Subaru spoke smugly and with a small smile on his face but he new he wasn't in a winning situation, he couldn't access his magecraft considering the sorry state of his magical circuits so he had to rely on his wits to win this and wait for the perfect moment to strike since he would be using his nervous system as substitute magic circuits, which was not advisable, so he was at a huge disadvantage
However, enraging him was also not advisable
"HOW DARE YOU! THE PROOF OF MY LOVE! MY LOVE! MY LOVE! I'LL KILL YOU!"
Out of seemingly nowhere, hundreds of dark, sinister 'unseen hands' shot out and flew at Subaru, flinging him a couple of feet away
"Subaru!" Emilia went to run over, concerned as that attack hit Subaru hard, yet he stood up and glared at the sin archbishop before looking at Emilia again
"It's ok -koff- Emilia! I'm okay, I swear! Just stay back, I don't want you to get hurt as well"
"But Subaru that looked like it hurt!" Emilia was starting to get really concerned, she could swear she saw blood coming out with that last cough but Subaru gave her a look that said it all, so she gave up and quickly ran back to Rem and Puck
'I'm not going to win this fight bare-handed, I need a weapon, maybe a bran-'
His thoughts were interrupted by a mental image of two swords, one black with the yang symbol on it and while in contrast to the first, the other blade was all white with a yin symbol on it while both blades had a hexagonal pattern on the blades
"If you use that, you may seriously damage yourself and you are going to be out of action for a few days, using dormant magic circuits after a long time is not a calm and peaceful experience"

"BETELGUESE, I AM THE HERO NATSUKI SUBARU! AND I HAVE COME TO PUT AN END TO YOUR EVIL DOING! PREPARE YOURSELF!"
"MY LOVE! MY LOVE! MY LOVE! MY LOVE! PROOF OF MY LOVE! I WILL KILL YOU, THEN I WILL KILL THESE KIDS! THEN THAT HALF ELF AND SACRIFICE HER FOR THE WITCH!"
Hearing his plans, a new fire lit under Subaru as he ran to face off with Betelguese, who was also running at Subaru with the intent to kill
"AS IF! WHILE I AM HERE, NO ONE WILL SUFFER!"

Hey guys, sorry that this took a little bit longer as I just got off school yesterday, technical 2 days ago because it was Thursday but whatever, but I will now have more time to put into writing and have decided to do longer chapters with at least 5k words so yeah, that's gonna be coming now also I couldn't find the original speech that Shirou says when he traced for the first time in his shed so I had to wing it but I don't think it makes too much of a difference. But other than that, I hope you enjoyed and any constructive criticism is welcome
