Chapter 4 Clan Status

Mordred and Arthur woke up the next day and did their morning routines getting ready for the day as they had already gotten over the fact, they will be sharing a bed together for a while after finishing their routines Arthur cook breakfast for the two of them much to Mordred's delight.

"So, todays plan is we ask the hokage for clan status. This way we are kept in the know about village affairs as well as it gives us more protection from people in and outside the village. The only problem is who's going to be clan head?" Mordred concluded making Arthur nod his head at what she was saying.

"Mordred, we both know there is only one way for someone to become king and that is Caliburn" Arthur said solemnly as he projected Caliburn placed in the stone making Mordred nod her head in understanding as she knew that as well.

When they finished breakfast the two siblings left their apartment in civilian clothes as they thought their armour wasn't needed as they wouldn't be in a hard fight. Arthur and Mordred then started to walk towards the hokage tower.

Once Arthur and Mordred were in front of the hokage tower they walked in and met the receptionist and asked to meet the hokage. After waiting a while Arthur and Mordred were ushered into the hokage office.

Once inside they saw the hokage doing a stack of paperwork but once he saw both Arthur and Mordred he paused and face the two.

"Oh, hello Arthur, Mordred is everything fine? Is there anything that I can do for you?" Hiruzen asked the two siblings.

"Yes, everything is fine lord third me and my sister have settled in nicely however there is something you can do for us me and my sister have been talking and we came to the decision to make a clan" Arthur said to the hokage who looked shocked at the siblings.

"Can I ask why?" he asked Arthur.

"We decided that the best way to protect our secrets and techniques would be to make the Pendragon into a Konoha clan. It would also keep us up to date on village and world politics" Arthur said to the old man making him nodded his head as those were reasonable reasons to make a clan.

"I can do that, but you would have to pass a test to show what you have to offer Konoha. You two will also need to decide who would be clan head." Hiruzen said

"You don't have to worry about who will be clan head as the Pendragon family have a way to pick the best possible leader to lead the clan and we have no problem doing these test, it could be fun." Mordred said joining the discussion with a smirk on her face.

"Very well I will gather the council to talk about the issue however I must stress that you must be careful of one of the elders a man by the name of Danzō as he will try to manipulate you into getting what he wants and will do anything to make it happen" Hiruzen said making Arthur and Mordred frown.

"Great another manipulator and I thought my aunt was the only one I had to be careful of." Arthur said making Mordred grown.

"Yeah well at least the witch isn't here otherwise our life would be a living hell" Mordred snapped out catching the elderly hokage's attention.

"Who are you talking about?" Hiruzen questioned as it sounded to him that both Arthur and Mordred already had experience with someone like Danzō.

"My aunt, Mordred's mother Morgan le fay is exactly as you described. She was jealous of my mother who became king of Camelot instead of her. So, she planned and plotted ways to usurp my mother and take the throne for herself and one of those plans included using my sister to start a rebellion once my mother told Mordred wasn't fit for the throne. Fortunately, or unfortunately the rebellion destroyed Camelot leaving nothing for Morgan to rule over." Arthur said as he revealed his own experiences with manipulators and a bit of his and Mordred's past.

"Hahahaha shows her she tried to use me as a sword to kill farther but I kicked back and destroyed what she wanted the most hahaha" Mordred laughed out making Arthur sigh but had a small smile.

"Very well let me call the council" The hokage said as he made a hand signal summoning a member of the ANBU who knelt in front of the office.

"I would like you to summon all the members of the council." Hiruzen ordered making the ANBU nod his head and vanished.

The group then started to walked towards the council chambers to wait for the members to start to arrive so that they can begin the meeting.

It didn't take long for the council members to arrive with the ninja portion of the council taking their seats quietly on the other hand the civilians were grumbling about being summon so early in the morning and then the elders arrive and sat at the back of the room.

"Good morning members of this council, I called you here today because two people with a strong bloodline have asked to become a Konoha clan, can you please show yourselves" Hiruzen said making Arthur and Mordred walk before the council.

"Ohhh and what can these two children offer to Konoha" A man with bandages covering his head and a cane in his hand.

"We have a different type of energy than the rest of you" Mordred snorted making some of the people of the council look at them in disbelief.

"And how would you prove that everyone knows you need chakra to live" one of the civilians yelled at her.

"Lord Hyuga could easily prove our claims to be true if he used his clans Byakugan to scan our bodies" Arthur said nodding towards Hiashi Hyūga who nodded his head and used his Byakugan to scan over their bodies.

"They are telling the truth, they have no chakra net work but rather a single point in their bodies that fill them with energy." Hiashi said to the shock of the council.

"Now that we have proven that we have a different type of energy, we also have different techniques and combat styles that are different than the ones from this land as me and my sister are used to being thrown through buildings or being hit by beasts like bears. We were also trained to kill bears with our bare hands" Arthur said making some of the parents in the room gasp at the amount of training that they were put through.

"Oh, and what is this energy called?" one of the elders with glasses asked making people look towards Arthur and Mordred.

"It's called Mana and we can use it for simple things like reinforcing our bodies, but it can also be used to do this" Arthur said as he projected multiple kunai and katanas shocking the council that someone could make kunai out of nothing.

"As you can see, we can use various techniques" Arthur continued making the ninja portion nod their heads as these abilities could be very useful.

Arthur made all of the swords and kunai's disappear and then took a step back and stood behind Hiruzen who then coughed to get the councils attention back on himself.

"Now that they have proven themselves to have a different type of energy and techniques that only they can do I believe that it would be best to make the Pendragon family into a Konoha clan." Hiruzen said making some of the ninja clan heads nod their head and some of the civilian looks at the siblings with greed.

"Hiruzen I would like to propose a test this way they can prove that they can handle themselves in a fight and do have something to offer to Konoha" Danzō said making the Hokage frown at his old friend.

"Very well we shall meet up at training ground 7 and we will have 2 of the Ninja council fight them" Hiruzen commanded and started to walk out and is then followed by the rest of the occupants.

Time skip

Everyone arrived at training ground seven with Arthur, Mordred and Hiruzen arriving first then followed by the ninja clans and then the elders. The civilians were dismissed as they were no longer needed.

"Can I have two volunteers to test Arthur and Mordred" Hiruzen asked the clan heads making Tsume Inazuka and Chōza Akimichi raise their hands to show that they volunteered to test them.

Mordred smirked as she looked at the Inazuka female as she could tell that she would give her a good fight as well as she knew that this woman wouldn't give up easily. Arthur however was scanning the Akimichi heir to see if he could spot any weaknesses.

"Mordred can go first as I can tell she's desperate for a good fight" Arthur sighed at his sisters battle lust. Mordred and Tsume walked away from the group.

Mordred slammed her fist into her palm and summon her armour and got into a boxing stance making the council look at her in shock that someone could do that and the fact she can move and the weird stance.

"Why is she wearing such armour, she won't be able to move" a man who looked like an older version of Shikamaru said making Arthur snort.

"Because that is the type of fights we are used to, those tiny kunai would never penetrate through our armour and for good reason we use blades like those to cut our food with." Arthur explained making the council look at him in shock.

"Fight" Hiruzen ordered

Mordred was the first to act and sprinted forward with surprising speed as she was in her armour catching Tsume off guard and end up with a punch to the chest throwing Tsume a distance away. Tsume got up and her dog partner joined her getting into a stance for one of their techniques.

"Man-Beast Ultimate Taijutsu: Fang Over Fang!" Tsume yelled as she and her partner became a speeding cyclone and raced toward Mordred who just smirk and raise her armoured hands and caught their attack and was slowly being pushed back from the force but stopped when Mordred planted her feet into the ground.

Once Tsume and her dog stopped spinning it showed that Mordred had catch their fist/paws to the shock of the clan heads. Mordred then gripped their fist/paw and then started to slam them into the ground repeatedly knocking them out.

Mordred then walked over to Arthur with a smile on her face.

"Did you enjoy yourself?" Arthur asked making Mordred nod her head.

"It was better than that emo boy" she said making Arthur sigh.

Hiruzen summoned some of his ANBU to take Tsume and the dog to the hospital to get a check-up and healed, he then turned to Mordred and Arthur.

"You could have held back" He asked with some humour making those around them pay attention to the conversation.

"I was, if I wasn't I would have used my sword or I would have started to use more mana to reinforce my body even more" Mordred said making all those around them had their mouths open in shock at her strength.

"Alright I guess I'm next" Arthur said walking away from the group with Chōza doing the same.

Arthur just stood there and materialize his gauntlets and got into a boxers stance on the opposite side of the training ground Chōza got into his clans fighting stance.

"Fight" Hiruzen yelled.

Arthur just ran at Chōza and went to punch him however before he could Chōza called out an attack.

"Partial Expansion Jutsu" Chōza's arm expanded and tried to slam it down on Arthur however he jumped back to avoid the attack.

Arthur looked over Chōza to find any sorts of weakness that he could exploit. After a while Arthur found something, he could exploit and used his mana to reinforce his body and then using speed that broke the sound barrier he appeared in front of Chōza and then landed a blow to his head knocking him out.

Everyone was shocked to see a child go so fast that they lost track of him only to appear in front of Chōza and land a single blow that knocked out one of their physically strongest ninja.

"ANBU" Hiruzen said making his ANBU appear and took Chōza to the hospital.

"So does anyone have any problem with making the Pendragon a Konoha clan" Hiruzen said simply however on the inside he was smirking at the show of power the siblings did.

"I think I can say for both myself and the council that we would be more than happy to make them a clan and given all the rights pertaining to this status." An elderly woman said making the rest of the council nodded their head.

"The only problem is who will be the clan head" Hiashi said making everyone look at Mordred and Arthur.

"There is only one way to get the Pendragon throne" Arthur said confusing everyone but Mordred who nodded her head.

Arthur then projected an extremely beautiful sword that was placed in a piece of stone much to the confusion of everyone present.

"I present to you the sword of selection, Caliburn. The only way someone can take the throne of Camelot after my mother. You can try and pull it out if you want" Arthur explained the sword and the importance of it.

Many people of the council and even the hokage tried however no matter how much they tried, they couldn't pull the sword out of the stone.

Mordred then walked up to the sword and took a deep breath; this had been her wish for the grail. It was too prove herself worthy of the throne of Camelot. She then gripped the sword and started to pull much to her shock and happiness the sword started to move however it got stuck halfway making her sigh and put it back.

"I'm not worthy after all" Mordred whispered disappointed however she felt a hand on her shoulder, when she looked behind her, she saw Arthur giving her a comforting smile.

"That's not true you have proven yourself. You managed to pull it out somewhat that means the sword finds you as a worthy successor in case one cannot be found." Arthur told her and brought her into a hug making her hug back.

Arthur then walked over to the sword and pictured what leader he wanted to be, one who was fair to those around him and relentless to his enemies, to be what his mother asked him to be an honourable hero who helps those in need. Once he reached the sword, he gripped it and with one big tug freed the sword from the stone.

"Long live the king" Mordred said next to him giving him a smirk making Arthur sigh at her antics.

"My first decree is to make lady Mordred my minister" Arthur commanded his sister with a smile shocking her.

"With that done Arthur Pendragon head of the Pendragon clan welcome to the ninja council of Konoha" Hiruzen said with a smile making Arthur smile and Mordred to smirk.

After a while Hiruzen called everyone to go home and spread the news of the new clan of Konoha. Arthur and Mordred after being let go went around the village and bought all the food that they could and had a feast in celebration.
