Second Sport Festival Game Cavalry Ride

Izuku looks around from within the stadium of UA hearing all the cheering from the crowd, cheering for Izuku who have just won the entire obstacle course, and he can feel All Might looking at him with a proud smile on his face as the chosen Successor of One for All smiles back and starts crying.

"(This Sports Festival is a competition where everyone aims for the top, even though that means defeating your friends and classmates. And for professional heroes, popularity plays a huge part in their careers, so they have to want to be the best. It's a bloodthirsty world.)" Toshinori thought as he looked up seeing the play-by-play of Izuku flying through the mind field.

"(At your core, you want to help others. That's why I chose you, Young Midoriya. But in all honesty, I also thought your selflessness could be your weakness.)" Toshinori thought admitted worry.

"(Turns out I was worried for nothing; you are a fighter! Still, maybe cool it with the water works.)" Toshinori thought clapped his hands smiling.

Then Toshinori overheard some students below them instantly recognizing them from the UA Business Course, the students who does business classes and they don't really take part in the Sports Festival as they do marketing products and other business stuff. In other words, they have a lot of free time than the other classes.

"Oh man, I never thought I would have to make so many portals. Even so, I didn't win." Azuma panted as he looks towards Izuku thinking he is one amazing guy.

"Damn it… Deku, not again." Katsuki angered that he lost to that damn nerd again.

"Okay, let's not forget about the other students that have ran like Hell as they are coming in. Let's give them a round of applause too." Makiko excited.

"Deku!" Ochaco called out as she goes to him exhausted from all the running.

"I can't believe you got in first place, I'm so jealous." Ochaco panted.

"Oh, it was nothing." Izuku said blushing a bit.

"Now, now, no need to be modest when you won the race. Take in all the glory with the shower of praise." Kimi said joyfully.

"Well, huh, if you say so." Izuku chuckled.

"By the way, I'm curious about you calling him Deku. What's that about?" Kimi asked Ochaco.

"It's a nickname Deku doesn't mind being called. He said it used to be an insult from Bakugo when they grew up together, and I also thought it's pretty that it sounds more like "You can do it" kind of vibe if you get what I mean." Ochaco explained, slowly starting to catch her breath.

"Wow, that is interesting. I think I'm start calling you Deku too, if that's okay." Kimi winked.

"Y-Yeah, sure! Go right ahead." Izuku blushed and Ochaco get that jealous feeling in her as she pout.

"Alright, we made it." Tomo cheered panting with Momo besides her.

"The race may belong to Midoriya for now, but I will have the next event." Momo declared.

"Damn it, damn it, damn it, how could this have happened!" Minoru cried in disgust as he sucks on Persona's back.

"My originally plan was to stick myself on one of the hot babes in the obstacle race to enjoy their sexy backside, but somehow this muscle-headed idiot got in the way." Minoru cursed, then felt his head being patted by Persona to get his attention.

Persona pointed at Minoru first then down to the ground as the tall muscular student has kneeled down for him to get off.

"Oh, huh, thanks." Minoru jumped off and Persona stands up again as he points at the purple sticky balls.

"No worry, they'll come off in a few minutes." Minoru said, Persona nods and walked away.

"Next time, little grape man. Next time, you'll be feeling the awesome wonders of-AH!" Minoru kicked away like a ball by Gin from Musashi Academy.

"Huh, did I hit something?" Gin puzzled, unknowingly made Minoru rolling away.

Gin is a girl with short purple hair and dark green eyes with a flat expression. She wears the Musashi Academy gym uniform like her fellow classmates. Breasts sizes: G-cup.

"It looks like everyone is here now." Horizon informed as she looks around, seeing all the students from both schools have entered the arena.

"Then that means the next game is about to be announce." Izuku guessed as he and the others look to Midnight.

"The first game for the first years is finally over, and what a game it was!" Midnight excited.

"Now, let's take a quick look at the standings, shall we?" Midnight said.

And so, the list of the standing went from Izuku being in first place all the way down to Yuga being in 42nd and last place while the other notices that their names don't appear on the list as well.

"As you all know, we have about 84 students competing this year which is a whole lot than the previous Sport Festival we had over the years. So, we're cutting the high number down to the top 42 students that will be advancing to the next round, but don't be too let down if those of you didn't make the cut! We've prepared other opportunities for you to shine." Midnight informed as she licked her lips.

"Someone is feeling a bit kinky." Kimi commented.

"Seriously, Kimi." Tomo deadpanned.

"Now the real fun is about to begin. The chance to fully move yourselves into the limelight! Give it your best!" Midnight cheered.

Most of the students from both UA and Musashi are getting pumped up while others are feeling a bit nervous, but none of backing down as they await their next challenge to be announce.

"Let's see what we have in store for you next." Midnight cracked her whip and the spinning icon appeared on the screen again.

"Will your wildest fantasies come to life? What could it be? The waiting is torture." Midnight played sexually playfully.

"Prepare yourselves… for this!" Midnight posed sexy as the screen shows the next event of the game is Cavalry Battle.

"Cavalry Battle? I'm terrible at those." Denki worried.

"Never played the game before, hope I don't screw this up." Noriki said to himself.

"So, this won't be an individual event?" Suzu asked Tsuyu.

"Yeah, I wonder how they'll split us up?" Tsuyu asked as well.

"Allow me to explain: the participants will be form teams of two-to-four people as they see fit. In theory, it's basically the same as a regular playground game. But there is one difference: each player has been assigned a point value based on the results from the obstacle course." Midnight explained.

"I get it, a pointed-based system like the entrance exams." Rikido figured out.

"So, depending on what place we're in, we get different points probably higher than the other from behind." Ginji nodded, seem to understand this too.

"Yeah, I was thinking something similar." Ochaco said as Mina gets it too.

"Maybe you should shut up and let me explain things to you!" Midnight yelled at the students with her whip crack making the three students flinch.

"That woman sure doesn't like being ignore, does she?" Futayo asked as the screen shows the board with the top 42 students and points.

"Now then, the point assignments go up by increments of five, starting from the bottom. For example, 42nd place is worth five points and 41st is worth ten." Midnight explained.

"And the point value assigned to the first-place contestant is… ten million!" Midnight announced.

The moment Izuku heard those words, he froze up in shock and fear as his points is worth WAY higher than it should be as he thought his point was going to be at least 210, but ten million points is more extreme as he can already tell what everyone around him are thinking the same thing.

"(If you take down his team… you'll win the Cavalry Game and take the lead yourself.)" Everyone thought.

"Oh dear, it looks like you have gotten yourself in quite a pickle." Kimi giggled.

"That's right, it's survival of the fittest, with a chance for those at the bottom to overthrow the top!" Midnight smirked.

Izuku can feel his heart beating a little faster than normal and the memories of how others in the past have mocked him for being Quirkless and believing he could never amount to anything.

"(Things have majorly change since then, but I'm still a target. I'm only in first place right now because of some good luck and quick thinking, not that it matters, I guess.)" Izuku thought gulped hoping he can get through this.

"(Now you know the burden of being the best.)" Toshinori thought concerned for Young Midoriya.

"(I bet even All Might had a hard time being at the top, let see how you'll get out of this one, Deku.)" Kimi thought looked at Izuku trying to summon some courage.

"Now! These are the rules that you'll abide by: the game itself will last 15 minutes. Individual point value will be added together to reach your team total. Everyone will know how much you're worth thanks to your headbands. Swipe as many headbands as you can to raise your team's score stolen headbands must be worn from the neck up, so the more you steal, the harder it'll be to manage them." Midnight explained the rule of this Cavalry Battle.

"That's going to be tough wearing so many around the neck." Azuma commented.

"But it's also important to get the points needed to move on into the next event." Elizabeth believed.

"And another thing, even if your headband gets stolen or you team falls down, you can keep playing until time's up." Midnight informed.

"It's anyone's game then." Momo said.

"And consider there are 42 students within that number, the teams will likely be ten or 12 on the battlefield for the whole 15 minutes." Heidi guessed.

"Sounds hard." Yuga said nervous.

"Yeah, my legs are shaking right now." Adele admitted.

"It'll be hard to form a strategy if you don't know what kind of team you'll be facing, at least you'll have some time even when losing a headband." Nate stated.

"Yeah, I think that's easier said than done." Naomasa shrugged.

"It's going to be rough. You may use your Quirks as much as you like, but there are still rules. Make a team fall on purpose and I'll slap you with a red card. You'll be disqualified!" Midnight mentioned and Katsuki just tch thinking he can't beat some extras down now.

"Hmm, I believe that rule may also say the team's main rider can't fall on the ground or you're out." Tenzou guessed.

"Whatever, let get this over with already." Katsuki growled a bit.

The large hologram screen behind Midnight changed into a timer of 15 minutes.

"Now, you've got 15 minutes to build your teams. I recommend you get started." Midnight advised.

"(It doesn't matter how many points my teammates have since I got so many, but that doesn't leave out the possibility that some will still try to steal it.)" Izuku thought knowing some or most will come after his ten-million-point headband.

"(I'll worry about that later. Right now, I just need to make sure I pick the right people. I already thought about who I want, but the question is will they join if they hadn't been picked out by other teams yet.)" Izuku thought worried.

(Break Room, Staff Only)

Death Arm is seen sitting in the small building that is the break room for some Pro Heroes who were asked to be security guards for the festival, he is sitting at a table with Kamui Wood and Mt. Lady as they are also taking breaks from their duty for a while.

"The Sports Festival isn't really about seeing how prepared they are at being heroes. It's more about simulating the competition they'll face if they go pro." Death Arm stated as he puffs a little smoke.

"Uh, what are you talking about?" Mt. Lady confused and coughed a little from the smoke breath.

"We both know this country's overrun with agencies right now. If you wanna put food on the table, you've gotta be willing to step on top of other heroes. That was the whole point of the first round." Death Arm explained.

"That's such a sad way of looking at our job." Mt. Lady commented.

"Seriously? You've never had a problem stealing the spotlight." Kamui Wood recalled Mt. Lady taking his spotlight when she made her debut over ten months ago.

"Now, now, even when one is trying to get more attention than the other. We must never forget about being heroes to helping others." A woman pointed out, walking up to them.

"Whoa! No way, you're the Turenne, Reine des Garous: The Golden Werewolf Heroine!" Mt Lady squealed of meeting her idol right now.

"Aw, it's nice to meet a fan." Turenne giggled.

"Huh, what are you doing here?" Death Arm asked.

"I was asked by the Headmaster of Musashi to act as a security guard for the festival, which is also an excuse to see how my daughter Nate is doing." Turenne answered.

Turenne has long pale gold hair styled in giant drills like Nate with fanglike bangs in front and gold eyes. She wears a silver-colored uniform with orange skintight legging, pale gold long gloves that goes above the elbows, and silver high heel shoes. She also has wolf ears and sharp fangs sticking out, and a beautiful soft wolf tail. Breasts sizes: L-cup.

"I happen to overhear your conversation, and I believe that even when heroes are trying to be more popular than the other, heroes still put aside their differences to work together." Turenne pointed out.

"Yeah, just like in this Cavalry Battle." Death Arm nodded.

"I see now! Every point you score is not just for you, but for your teammates as well. Plus, you have to think about how Quirks work together and who you're compatible with." Mt. Lady realized.

"It's kind of like coordinating with your sidekick or doing Quirk training with other agencies." Kamui added as he was about to drink his water bottle, but realize he still has his mask on.

"Some of the kids including my daughter are probably thinking that way too, that kind of life is going to be like that once they graduate." Turenne said.

"They still got a long road ahead of them." Mt. Lady sighed.

"Well, in any case… Nate, sweetie! You do your very best and mommy will be cheering for you!" Turenne cheered, weirding out the other heroes.

(With Nate)

"Achoo!" Nate sneezed which popped out her wolf ears and tail.

"Bless you." Ibara said.

"Oh, thank you." Nate thanked as her wolf trait went back in.

Izuku is looking around seeing people are already teaming up into three or four people and doing some talking too.

"(Just like I expected. Everyone's sticking to the people in their homeroom class. Although, I also see some people teaming up from other classes like some Musashi students want to team up with some UA students.)" Izuku thought surprised seeing some around him.

"(That's a big gamble to partner up with someone if you don't know what their Quirk can do, but it's also risk they're willing to take.)" Izuku thought stated.

"(Okay, I need to find a team of my own and fast.)" Izuku thought patted himself on the cheeks and gained a focus look.

"(But the problem is… everyone is avoiding me since I'm worth so much!)" Izuku thought panicked a little.

"Deku, Ochaco and I would like to team up with you." Kimi said as she and Ochaco walked up to him.

"REALLY?!" Izuku gasped, literally bursting a waterfall of tears.

"Of course, we are, silly. Why wouldn't we?" Kimi asked sarcastically.

"Well, it just everyone'll be after me and my ten million stupid points, are you sure you want to run the risk of having huge targets on your backs?" Izuku asked worry.

"Totally, if we try running away then our points won't be taken. Plus, it's better to team up with someone you like." Ochaco believed making Izuku's expression heart-squeeze.

"Oh dear, I think you made him cry more." Kimi teased.

"Actually, I was thinking about teaming up with Ochaco and maybe add Iida into the mix." Izuku mentioned.

"Sorry to disappoint you, but Iida has already joined Todoroki's team." Kimi informed shocking both.

"So much for him, now we need to find someone else." Izuku said trying to think.

"Oh, perfect, you're still alone and you're the star." Mei hovered to Izuku getting his and the girls' attention.

"Aren't you one of the support gear course students?" Kimi asked.

"Team up with me, Mister 1st Place!" Mei asked being very close in the face to Izuku.

"Too close, and who are you?" Izuku asked.

"The name is Mei Hatsume, and I would like to use your current fame to my personal advantage." Mei said without hesitation.

"So straightforward, you're in!" Kimi said with a thumb up.

"Hey, wait a minute!" Izuku and Ochaco shocked.
