"S-So what do you want to talk about?" Naruto questioned.
"No need to be so jittery Monkey! After all I'm here to serve you" The Darkling told.
"Serve me?".
"That's right! I came from your noggin, everything I am is from you".
"You said that this morning as well" Naruto remembered the creature saying that.
"Yes I did, and I would've been able to tell you all of this, this morning if that little red haired cunt hadn't interrupted us" aggravation dripped from it's words.
"Don't call her that" Naruto growled back as he stood from the bed.
The darkling stared at him for a moment before it started chuckling "Or what? You gonna make me, Monkey?" It said sarcastically.
"Don't call me that either" this little fucker was seriously starting to piss him off.
"Call you what? Monkey?".
"I said stop…"
"Monke-kehhhgg" The darkling didn't get to finish, Naruto moved at an impressive speed to which the darkling couldn't counter, his hand wrapped around the goblins throat, pinning it to the wall. Naruto held the darkling higher than himself, glaring up at it as his wings unfolded and flexed outwards, giving him an image of superiority.
"Enough…" Naruto was through playing games with this little troll, he would not let this, this thing mock him, especially not Mio.
Even though the Darkling was in danger of receiving a beating, it grinned at him, happy at his reaction "There he is! There's the one we've been waiting for!" It said happily.
"What are you talking about?".
The Darkling reached behind itself and pulled out a black framed hand mirror, with the mirror facing his master.
"Look…" The darkling urged, Naruto held his gaze for a moment before his eyes drifted to his reflection and stiffened, other than his wings flaring out, his physical appearance hadn't changed at all, except for one thing, his eyes, his normal ocean blue's were gone and were replaced with a pair of bright eerily glowing orangey yellow eyes, in fact he couldn't see his eyes at all from intense glowing.
These weren't his eyes, physically they were yes, but even with himself looking at them, he could see it, these eyes burned with hate, they yearned for destruction, these eyes wanted to witness death.
His eyes never held such darkness behind them before, was this because of his rebirth as devil?.
"What is this!?" Naruto barked angrily at grinning darkling.
"A gift,...an inheritance...or a burden...you chose, Naruto" the darkling struggled to speak as his master's grip tightened.
Naruto held the darkling in place, sighing in agitation he released the darkling, letting it drop to the ground, his wings folded back into his body as his eyes returned to normal.
The darkling rubbed at his throat as it stood up "It doesn't want you to know yet, nearly killed me when I blabbed to you this morning"
It? Did it mean the voice in his head? What did he call it?...
"The Darkness?"
"SHHHH! Keep ya bleedin voice down you idiot!" The darkling was quick to try and silence him. "Listen to me, whatever you do, do NOT go mentioning the Darkness around those fake devils" It said to him seriously.
Naruto crossed his arms in suspension "Why not?".
"Just trust me, if you don't then everything you know will end" The darkling stared at him as it spoke, never once breaking eye contact.
Naruto was still for a moment before nodding "Fine but in return I want answers".
The darkling was silent for a moment, almost as if it was waiting for a response "Fine...but you only get three questions and you can't ask about it, deal?"
Naruto frowned at the rules but nodded anyway "What happened today? Why could I see everyone as zombies?".
The darkling grinned at the question "Ahhh an easy one to start with, that is one of the many, many powers granted to you, it kind of works like a premonition, when you see someone looking like the walking dead, it means they are either about to or are going to die soon"
Naruto blinked, so he could foresee someone's death? "Wait a minute, everyone I saw today looked that way, does that mean they're all going to die!?".
The darkling shrugged "Who knows? Some of their deaths might've been linked to you while you were freaking out and once you passed out the prediction passed as well, meaning you weren't the cause of their deaths, or some of their deaths might have nothing at all to do with you, it's not like you can watch a video of each of their deaths, it just shows you who's going to die".
Naruto took the information, He could predict people's deaths but not how it was going to happen, sure it wasn't a descriptive power but with it he would be able to protect his loved ones better.
"One question left"
"What?! No way I still have two more!"
"No you don't, you used your second question to ask if everyone you saw today was going to die" The Darkling argued.
"No way! that still counts as part of my first question" Naruto refuted.
"Does not!"
"Does too!"
"Does not!"
"Does too!"
"Does- you know what, fine! You have two more questions, go".
Naruto grinned cheekily at his mini victory before refocusing "It said that my body is going through uncomfortable experiences to prepare for its power, what type of experiences are we talking about?" He asked.
"Well you've already experienced one from the zombie fiasco, but there's no actual way to determine what you'll go through, each host's body is different and reacts differently to the powers of it, hehehahahaha! This one guy actually shit himself when he awakened the powers of it hahahah!" The darkling started cackling hysterically as spoke.
Naruto ignored the cackling of the darkling and focused on what it had actually said "You said host's? Meaning there has been more than one, what do you mean when you call us hosts?".
The darkling had ceased its laughing at his question "You sure you want me to answer that? This is your last question after all, are sure you want this to be it?"
Naruto frowned, he honestly didn't think he would be able to squeeze out another answer from the Darkling, he had a lot more questions he wanted to ask. But… but maybe it was trying to detour him away from asking this type of question, the main condition was not to ask about the darkness but this could give him a little insight to what the darkness was, Naruto nodded once he had made up his mind.
The darkling sighed before answering "The vessel or host, is what it is bound to, It has no physical form so it needs a vessel in order for it to manifest here on this world. The host, which is you, is the only one cable of using it's powers, there are no others because once a new vessel is made, It moves on to that vessel to be its next host, leaving the old vessel to die, just like the last host before you".
Naruto took in all the information, so he wasn't the first and he certainly wouldn't be the last either, once he died this entity would go onto someone else.
"I see, so I'm just a vessel for it "
"Yep and believe me, that title alone will bring you nothing but misery" the Darkling said with seriousness.
Naruto raised an eyebrow at the gremlins words "What do you mean?".
The Darkling's seriousness was replaced with an amused grin "...You'll figure it out".
The Darkling crawled towards the infirmary bed that Naruto had been using, reaching the bed it turned its head back towards him "Oh by the way, its name, the darkness".
"What about it?".
"There's a reason why it's called that" the Darkling hinted as it crawled under the bed, its body becoming one with the shadows, leaving only its glowing green eyes visible "See you soon, boss" the eyes vanished, leaving Naruto alone in the room.
Naruto blinked in confusion at its words, why did the Darkling sound like it was hinting at something?.
Knock Knock
"Uzumaki-kun?"
Naruto turned towards the opening door to see Kiba peeking into the room, a relieved smile bloomed on his face when he saw his fellow devil.
"Thank goodness you're alright! You gave everyone a terrible scare when you collapsed" he said as walked over to his fellow blond.
"S-Sorry for causing trouble" Naruto said sheepishly as he scratched the back of his head.
"Don't apologise for something that you can't control, Uzumaki-kun, we're all just thankful that you're alright, you are aren't you?" Kiba asked .
"Yeah I'm alright, but I've probably ruined any chance of normal school life, everyone is going to see me as the freak who lost his mind on his first day" Naruto sighed as he leaned his back against the wall, he felt a hand grab his shoulder.
He looked to see Kiba giving him a reassuring smile "I wouldn't worry about that, Buchou probably didn't tell you this but devils have the ability to manipulate the memories of humans who aren't aware of the supernatural''.
Naruto looked at him for a moment before his eyes widened "S-So you mean?..."
Kiba nodded with a smile "Yep, by tomorrow morning everyone will have forgotten about the incident".
Naruto breathed a sigh of relief "Thank god- OWW Shit!" He gripped his head from the searing migraine.
Kiba chuckled at him "Since you're feeling better we should go see Buchou, she's been so worried about you, if it wasn't for the school nurse she wouldn't have left your side".
Naruto nodded, he knew their master would want to know what happened to him "Let's go then".
The two walked towards the door with Kiba leading, reaching the door Kiba stood off to the side, gesturing for Naruto to go through first, just before Naruto passed him, he remembered the events from the other night which caused him to stop right in front of his senior devil.
"Kiba..." he said in an emotionless tone.
"Hmm?" Kiba looked at Naruto in confusion as his fellow blond grabbed him by the collar of his school jacket and pulled him so that his face was inches away from Naruto's, who was staring right at him with a frightening look in his blank eyes.
Ehh?
"If you ever, ever give me a request like the one from lasting night, then Rias is gonna need a new servant" Naruto left the threat hanging in the air as Kiba made a silent ohh.
"A-Ahaha, I guess you got Tomoe-chan for your first contract" Kiba chuckled nervously before he sent Naruto an unsure look "D-did...you know?".
Naruto's glare intensified "Do I look like a child molester to you?" He growled out as his grip tightened.
Kiba quickly held his hands up in surrender "O-Of course not! It's just Buchou said that you did well for your first contract and I was wondering what you did to get Tomoe-chan to sign the contract".
Kiba had dealt with Tomoe multiple times, each time she summoned him it was always the same request, to take her virginity, and each time he had to come up with different ways to avoid that request, from small kisses on her cheek to cuddling on the coach with her.
When Kiba asked his question, Naruto released his jacket and held an ashamed expression "She made me dance for her".
If Kiba were a mind reader, then he would have heard the Darknesses' deranged hysterical laughter as Naruto recalled the events from that night.
"That doesn't sound too bad?" Kiba questioned in confusion.
"I had to dance...in my underwear...on a pole".

"I-I see".

"Don't you fucking laugh at me you bastard!" Naruto raged as he shuck Kiba back and forth like a jackhammer.
Kiba tried to contain his laughter "I-I'm sorry Uzumaki-kun, I-I'm sorry for causing that to you".
Naruto stopped shaking Kiba but not without sending him a glare first "Let's just go see Rias". Naruto stomped off down the hallway angrily, with Kiba following behind him in silence.

"D-Did she throw bills at you?"

"I'll kill you!" Kiba sped past the enraged Uzumaki, while said blond charged after him.
Scene change
Occult club room
When the two blonds entered the club room they were met with a depressing atmosphere, everyone present had a worried look on their face as they sat in silence.
Rias sat behind her desk with her forehead resting on her folded hands, her shadowed eyes staring straight down at the wooden desk.
Akeno stood on her right, behind her, with her hands folded over each other down at her waist and her eyes closed almost as if she was in the middle of a silent prayer.
Issei sat hunched over, by himself on the left coach, with his hands supporting his head.
Koneko sat silently on the other sofa, as she ate her sweets, but it didn't look like she wasn't all that focused on the delicious treats.
What surprised Naruto was that Mio and Maria were here, Mio was sitting next to Koneko, with her head resting on the coach's arm rest, sniffling slightly, while Maria stood behind her with her hand on Mio's shoulder with a downcast look.
Naruto looked at Kiba, silently asking what was wrong with them, while he just shook his head at his fellow devil's ignorance.
Naruto shrugged at Kiba before letting his presence known "So probably not the best to ask but do we have any ramen?".
The depressed group's attention snapped to him as their eyes lit up to see his recovered form, while he grinned at their reaction as scraped the back of his head.
"Naruto /-Kun/-sama!"
They all shouted his name respectively in relief, all except for one.
Mio, whose face was shadowed from her bangs, jumped up from her spot and charged at him, Thinking he was about to receive her rath, Naruto knitted his eyes as he shielded his face in defence.
Instead of feeling her kicks or punches, he felt her slender arms wrap around his form tightly, his eyes opened to see a mop of red hair buried into his chest.
Umm…?
His confused eyes looked towards his fellow club's members to see them smiling at their interaction "You've had us all incredibly worried, Naruto-kun, but Mio-chan has been the most distraught since you collapsed" Akeno said while giggling into her hand.
"In other words Naruto-sama, hug Mio-sama back" Maria ordered with a sly smile.
Listening to her instructions, Naruto hesitantly hugged Mio back, though he did blush slightly when he felt her soft breasts being pushed up against him.
"S-Sorry if I scared you" He said softly.
"I-I was more worried than scared, baka" came Mio's muffled reply.
Mio released him, moving back as she wiped the tears from her eyes "B-But if you ever worry me like that again, I-I'll kill you a hundred time over".
Naruto smirked at the halfhearted threat but nodded nonetheless, hearing footsteps approaching he turned to see the elder redhead walking towards him with a soft smile.
Stopping right in front of him, Rias reached up and pulled his head into her bosom, Naruto's face burned as he stammered her actions.
"Honestly, what troublesome child you are" Rias said as petted the back of his head caringly.
"Sorry" his voice being muffled by her breasts.
Rias chuckled softly "You should be, causing trouble for your master so early into your devil life, this better not become a common occurrence" she said jokingly as release his head.
Stepping away from him, Rias gestured from him to sit on the coach next Issei, who smiled at his friend, once he was seated Naruto was confused when Mio moved from her previous spot to sit next to him, though she refused to meet his questioning gaze, while Kiba had taken the seat next to Konenko, who looked uncomfortable by Naruto's presence.
Rias, who was now leaning against the front of her desk, crossed her arms while looking straight at him "First of all, how are you feeling Naruto?" She asked.
"A bit tired but other than that, fine... I think" Naruto answered honestly.
Rias nodded "Good, like Akeno said, you had us all incredibly worried, Mio and myself especially. Seeing you like that was honestly quite terrifying".
"Yeah man, one minute your complete out of it and the next you're freaking out like you've lost your mind" Issei interjected "Plus you nearly took my freakin jaw off" he finished as he nursed the spot where Naruto had hit him.
Naruto sighed as he remembered everything that he saw, the horrifying images of his fellow devils still fresh in his mind "I don't know what happened, but…".
He proceeded to tell them what happened, from the point where Issei had tried to get him to peek on the Kendo club, which had earned Issei a dangerous glare from Mio while Maria gave him a hidden thumbs up at his action. Up to the point of where he had passed out.
As he spoke, Naruto made sure to tell them exactly what he heard and saw in his hallucination, the gathered devils all had various reactions at Naruto's description of their deceased selves.
Issei, who had been gripping his left arm making sure it was still there, couldn't help but shake as he listened to Naruto talk about his dead self, the way he described it, filled Issei with dread.
Kiba, who held a frown on his face, listened to his fellow blond as he described his punctured form, for Kiba to hear that his visualised death was related to impalement, struck a nerve deep inside of him, he couldn't help clenching his fists as Naruto spoke.
Koneko, while not showing any emotion outwardly, was deeply disturbed by the way Naruto had described her corpse, the fact that he had said that she had been split halfway down the middle of her body, made it seem like something had failed to split her in two.
Akeno, whose face was shadowed from her bangs, felt sick, the fact that her death had been related to wings of all things, was troubling, her new kohai who knew nothing about her, had visualised her death by the Blood Eagle, the old Viking way of torture, was enough evidence to bring forth her concern.
Mio, who was silently shaking with wide glassy eyes, covered her mouth as Naruto spoke, the way he had described how she looked was horrifying, to think that during his episode he was seeing her almost like a lifeless doll, was sickening. Even with Maria's hand resting on her shoulder in comfort, did nothing to ease the fear running through her.
"... that's pretty much what happened" Naruto finished his long explanation of what had happened.
Rias, who had been silent since he began, narrowed her eyes when Naruto spoke about her death, even though the way he described her death disturbed her deeply, the fact that her cause of death was by being burnt, her death was related to fire, only one thought entered her mind 'I'll need to investigate this further'.
But the fact remained, this boy, who was still very new to the life of a devil, had seen nearly all of her peerage's deaths, in a horrifying personal way, was interesting.
Horrifying? Yes...but interesting nonetheless.
"I think I'm gonna be sick" Issei was the first to speak out.
Naruto looked at him with sympathy, he didn't know what to say to comfort the pervy teen, luckily he didn't have to.
"Indeed it is quite a hard pill to swallow, but all we have to do is make sure you all grow stronger, to make sure none of that can happen" Naruto turned his surprised gaze towards his master, Rias gave a reassuring smile towards them as she spoke "We should take this as means of motivation, to improve our strengths and tactics and make sure that what Naruto saw can never come to pass".
Hearing the confidence in her voice and seeing the reassuring smile on her face was enough to break through the morbid topic and ease their spirits a bit.
Clapping her hands, Rias continued "Now then, since it has been an eventful day I am suspending the contracts for tonight and they will be resumed tomorrow, but for now you can all go home and enjoy your night off". Rias finished.
Hearing they had night off made both Naruto and Issei sigh in relief, knowing that they didn't have to deal with the weirdos that were summoning them.
While the two newly devil's and the two hybrids gathered their stuff, Rias sent the remaining three a silent message asking them to stay behind.
"I guess we'll see you guys tomorrow?" Naruto asked as he looked towards the others, while Issei, Mio and Maria moved towards the exit.
Rias nodded with a smile as she and the others watched as the four left the room, while she and the others waited in silence for a few minutes, making sure that Naruto and the rest were actually gone.
Once she felt them leaving the club room, Rias sat behind her desk as she looked towards her remaining servants "So what do we think?".
Akeno was the first to speak "There was no trace of a magical presence on him, so I believe we can rule out that someone was trying to manipulate him".
Rias nodded "I think so too, but we can not be too careful, we will have to begin both Naruto and Issei's training soon".
Kiba looked towards his master "Uzumaki-kun seemed quite worried that the student's will see him as, to quote him 'a freak', I have already informed him that this wouldn't pose a problem for him under your care, Buchou".
"Thank you Yuuto, I have already asked Sona to alter the student's memories for the incident while leaving everything else intact, so everything should be fine by tomorrow morning" Rias said, in truth she knew her friend would have done it anyways, even if she hadn't asked her to.
Nodding at his master words, Kiba continued, "Could it be that Uzumaki-kun has a visual based power? Like a Sacred Gear?".
Rias frowned at that, satan she hoped not, ocular based Sacred Gears, while being one of the most powerful brands of Sacred Gear's, weren't the easiest to master either, she had plenty of experience in that department.
"I don't think there has ever been a report of a Sacred Gear that lets you see the living as the dead, so either this is something that we know nothing about or it's something else" Akeno interjected, "also lets not forget about Naruto-kun's wings or how he has the power to move through his shadow, there are very few people who have the ability to teleport without the need of a transportation spell, nor is there any records of a devil having his type of of wings, I'm sorry Rias but I don't think we are dealing with a Sacred Gear" Akeno finished.
The Gremory heiress sighed when she heard this "It doesn't make any sense, he was a full blooded human when I reincarnated him, and I didn't feel anything different from him once he became a devil, plus he himself said he's been hearing a voice in his head, what else could it be other than a Sacred Gear?".
"We could try asking for Sirzechs-sama assistance? To see if he's ever encountered someone with a power like this before?" Rias shook her head at Akeno's suggestion.
"No, I don't want to disturb my brother at the moment, especially after our last conversation" Akeno sighed at her best friend, she had heard about the argument between Rias and her brother, mainly what the argument had been about, while she was sympathetic to her crimson haired friend, she also knew that sometimes that Rias could be a bit hot headed at times.
The four sat in silence, trying to figure out what might have been the cause of Naruto's hallucination.
"It's getting worse" the three turned their attention towards Koneko, who had been completely silent since Naruto's return.
"What's getting worse, Koneko-chan?" Kiba questioned the petite girl.
"Naruto-senpai's scent, it's getting worse" she answered in a soft tone.
Ahh, that's what she was referring too.
Flashback
Rias stood in the school's infirmary, watching over the blond's battered but slow healing form.
"Rias-Buchou?" Rias turned to see Koneko walking into the room, closing the door behind her.
"Koneko, thank you for coming" Rias greeted her with a smile.
The white haired girl nodded towards her master with a small smile, she quickly took notice of the fact her master wasn't alone "Who's that?".
Rias smiled slyly as she gestured the naked blond in the bed "This. This is an unexpected individual".
Koneko blinked at her master's odd choice of words "Unexpected individual?".
"That's right, this young man was caught inside of a barrier made by a fallen angel, the same fallen that was targeting Hyoudou-kun" Rias turned her gaze back to Koneko "Not only did this boy bypass fallen magic, he also almost got himself killed, trying to save a complete stranger, he is... unexpected" she finished with a smile.
Koneko looked towards the blond as her master spoke "I believe he deserved a reward, a second chance at life as a member of my family".
The petite girl looked back at Rias "So what would you like me to do Buchou?" She asked questioningly.
"I want you to check him over, get a feel of his aura and see if he has any hidden abilities or if you can sense a Sacred Gear within him" Rias asked.
Koneko nodded at her masters request, that easy enough to do, at least she wasn't asking her to help with healing him.
Koneko moved towards the unconscious blond, intending to do as she was asked.
But then she smelled him…
Koneko wretched from the stench coming off the blonde, she covered her nose and mouth with her hands, trying to stop the Satan awful smell from violating her senses.
It didn't work, the girl started gagging and coughing, every breath, every sharp intake of air forced the heavy putrid stench down into her lungs, every sense of taste she had burned from, if she had to describe this sensation, it was like wearing an oxygen mask but connected to a tank filled with a vile ammonia like gas.
"Koneko?!, are you alright?" She couldn't answer, fearing that if she did then the contents of her stomach would end up all over the floor.
...scratch that, she was going to throw up.
Pushing past Rias, ignoring her master's worrying calls, Koneko dashed out of the infirmary with only one destination in mind, the girls bathroom.
Barely making it, Koneko ripped the bathroom stall door off its hinges as she burst into the stall.
Rias ran into the girls bathroom after her, she arrived to see Koneko hunched over the toilet, heaving heavily into it, Rias grimaced at every heaving cough that came out the first year, she kneeled behind the young girl, gently rubbing her back while lifting her white locks out face. "That's it, just let it out" she said comfortingly.
After a few minutes, Koneko finally stopped vomiting, she was currently leaning against the toilet with her head resting on the seat, Rias could see her dried tears staining her adorable cheeks.
"Feeling better?" She whispered in a soothing tone, Koneko managed a small nod as she wiped the excess vomit drool from her mouth, "Are you going to tell me what that was all about?".
"...H-Him" Koneko said weakly, Rias blinked at her answer, "He smelt...wrong,...like a dead animal... that been rotting for months". She finished.
Now Rias, being a pure blooded devil, had a keen sense of smell, far better than that of a humans, but when she had been with the unconscious blonde, she never smelt anything other than dried blood and maybe a little bit of B.O, but she hadn't smelt anything like what Koneko had said, but giving what this girl was, Rias believed that this girl had smelt exactly what she said she had.
"I see…" Rias knew she couldn't let the girl continue with her request, even though Koneko would probably try to argue that fine to do so, "I won't make you go back in there…" Rias was little surprised to see the white haired girl nod in relief "...But, that boy is going to be a member of my Peerage, a member of our family, if you happen to smell that scent on him again, I don't want you to make him feel uncomfortable a bit it, ok?" Koneko shuddered from the thought of smelling… that again, but since it was Rias, her master, she would obey her request.
"Do I have to be close to him?" She asked with a pleading gaze.
Rias shook her head "No you don't have to be close to him, but I don't want you to make him feel uncomfortable either, just be polite when you meet him properly " Rias asked.
When Koneko nodded at her request, Rias stood up with a smile "Thank you, now go home and get some rest, you'll be meeting him properly tomorrow" Rias watched as the young girl weakly walked out of the bathroom, Rias was about to leave as well before she remembered the ruined door, she used her magic to repair the door before heading back to the sleeping blonde.
Walking it the into the room, Rias stripped out of her uniform, letting her naked form be blessed by the moonlight, She slid under covers with the blonde, embracing his own naked body with her own, she was a little startled when the blonde groaned and shifted in his sleep to start spooning her, with his head resting on her large chest, his arms encircling her while his legs tangled with hers. Rias couldn't help but chuckle slightly, she couldn't wait to meet him properly so that she could tease him about this moment.
Growing curious, Rias inhaled deeply through her nose, smelling his blonde locks and frowned, a little miffed that she couldn't smell what Koneko had, still though, she had plenty of time to learn all about the boy in front of her starting from tomorrow, Laying her head down, Rias drifted to sleep, happy she had gotten not one, but two cute servants.
Flashback End
After finding out who Naruto was, she had told her peerage what she had learned from the young man and about Koneko's encounter with him.
Rias stared at Koneko "When you said his scent was getting worse, what did you mean?".
"It's getting stronger, he's started to smell like a rotting odor" She said to her master.
"It's amazing that you can smell that coming from Uzumaki-kun, Koneko-chan, I was with him for the entire time while we were walking back and not once did I smell anything like that from him" Kiba said impressed, Rias didn't know why he was though.
"I think it would be best if we all keep an eye on Naruto-kun going forward" Akeno said, to which Kiba and Koneko nodded, She then turned her attention to her best friend "Buchou, are you sure that letting those two girls stay with him is a good idea?" She asked in concern.
Rias nodded "Those girls have powerful auras but I don't believe them to be a threat to him or us, you all saw Mio-chan's reaction when he collapsed, if anything those girls could be powerful allies" Rias said.
Akeno, while unsure, chose not to disagree with her friend, sometimes Rias was just too nice.
"Speaking of those three, I wonder if they like the little gift I got them" Rias wondered out loud.

Scene change
Devil's Den Motel
"What...the...fuck?"
Naruto, Mio and Maria, who had just arrived home after leaving Issei at his house, walked into a completely different apartment then the one they had left this morning.
Gone was the old, rundown, sticky furnished motel room, and in its place was an updated modern apartment, all of the old furniture was gone and had been replaced with brand new counter parts.
The old wallpaper and carpets? Gone! In their place was a striped light grey wallpaper and fresh light brown flooring.
The three seater sofa? Replaced by a large baby blue corner sofa capable of sitting at least 8 people, the 32" tv? Replaced by a 60" flatscreen, the old cabinets? Replaced with modern white draws that brightened the room.
The kitchen? Completely redone with new appliances and storage spaces, which were filled to the brim with food.
The three couldn't believe what they were seeing as they walked into their home.
"We've been robbed...but the opposite!".
Maria and Mio ignored the blonde stupidity as they looked around the renovated room.
Mio walked over to a new coffee table to see a note addressed to Naruto.
"Naruto?" Mio called him over, handing the note to him, Naruto opened it and read it outloud.

"Rias-Sama did this?" Maria asked in a breathless state.
"How? Why?" Mio questioned as she looked at elder blonde.
"I-I?" Naruto couldn't even form a sentence as he slumped onto the new comfy sofa.
Mio and Maria walked over to their room and peered inside to see that their room had been completely renovated as well, Mio sprinted over to check the bathroom "We have a bath now!" She screamed excitedly.
Who knew that was what she really wanted?
"We have new clothes!" Maria shouted back to her as they both gave small screams of excitement.
Naruto walked into his own room it had been redecorated as well, furnished with a double bed, new desk and wardrobes (imagine Issie's room but without the posters).
"Rias really went all out" He mumbles to himself as changed into the new clothes that Rias got him, he now wore a black T-shirt with a red spiral and dark grey shorts that ended just above his knees.
Walking back into the living room, he saw Maria in the kitchen, stirring into a large pot "Need some help?".
Maria looked at him over her shoulder "No thank you Naruto-sama, just relax until dinner is ready, you've had a pretty rough day" She said with a smile.
Nodding at her, He slumped back on the sofa and began flicking through their new tv, looking for something to watch.
"A-ahem" he turned to see Mio, who was now dressed in a yellow tank top that showed a lot of her cleavage and incredibly short dark blue denim hot pants, standing next to him, faking a cough to get his attention.
"E-Everything ok?" Naruto asked while struggling not to check out the pigtailed redhead.
"Can we talk?...in private?" She asked.
Nodding at her request, the two moved towards Naruto's room, inviting Mio in, Naruto gestured for the girl to take a seat on his bed, which she did.
"Everything ok?" He asked as he sat besides her, the bed dipping at his extra weight.
"I should be the one asking you that" Mio said while looking at him in concern "What happened today?".
Naruto sighed as layback on the bed with his arms folded behind his head "No idea, those hallucinations were crazy, everything seemed so...real" after what the Darkling had said, he had no choice but to lie to the girl.
Mio's eyes became hidden from her bangs "I-I'm sorry" she said as she clenched her fists.
Naruto looked at her in confusion "Th-The school nurse said that your collapse was caused by stress, and with you helping us, giving us a place to stay and even putting your neck on the line with Rias-senpai for us, I thought that we were the cause of it" She said as tears dripped from her shadowed eyes. Unknown to the two, Maria was listening into their conversation behind the door.
Naruto sat up and placed a calming hand on her shoulder "Hey, hey you guys haven't caused me any trouble or stress at all, besides having you guys here is...nice, it makes this place feel less like a house and more like a home" He said soothenling.
Mio looked at him with surprise, while the hidden Maria smiled at his words. "You make it sound like we're a family or something" Mio said laughing slightly as she wiped her eyes.
Naruto blinked as he remembered something from this morning "Oh that's right! My hallucination of you called me 'Onii-chan' hahaha, really threw me out of the loop".
"I-I did".
...
Ehh?
"I-I did call you Onii-chan…" Mio said with a deep blush as she looked at him, she started stammering as she spoke again "B-B-But it wasn't on purpose! It was R-Rias-senpai's fault!"
Flashback
"...Advice?" Mio asked as she and Rias made their way to her classroom.
Rias nodded at Mio with a smile "That's right, like I said yesterday both you and Maria-san are under my protection while you here in Kouh, but I would rather not have whoever is hunting you causing trouble in my town" Rias said as they neared the classroom.
Mio nodded in understanding "So what do you want me to do?" She asked.
"Try to keep a low profile if you can, whoever is hunting you is looking for Naruse Mio, so Naruse Mio needs to disappear for the time being, do you understand what I'm saying?" Rias asked as the two arrived at Mio's class room.
Mio looked at Rias with a giant question mark hovering over her head, not that Rias could see it "I-I think so?" She answered uncertainly.
Rias smiled knowingly at the younger redhead "I'm sure you'll figure out what I mean, now like I said before you'll be in the same class as one of my servants, Koneko, she is the small, cute white haired girl, she's already aware of who you are, so if you need anything, you can ask her" Rias said at which Mio nodded.
"Great! Good luck and I'll see you later, ok?" Rias left Mio at the door of her classroom, Mio watched as Rias disappear down the school's hallway, probably heading to her own class.
Taking a deep breath, Mio knocked on the door, after a few seconds she heard the feminine voice of her teacher call her in, opening the door Mio walked into the class to see her new sensei.
"Ah another transfer student so soon? Well come on in and introduce yourself" The teacher said uncaringly.
Mio nodded and moved to the front of class, she felt the stare from the sea of eyes before her, but Mio had experience with this from her old school, so with a smile she introduced herself.
"Hello! My name is Na-" 'Naruse Mio needs to disappear' Rias's words echoed throughout Mio's mind causing her to halt her introduction.
Her senpai's words finally making sense to her, Rias was trying to tell her to be someone else!
"You alright Ojou-san?" Her teacher asked, shaking her from her thoughts.
"H-Hai…" Mio lied, she didn't know what to do, she didn't have enough time to create a fake identity, or to even build a tall tale about who she was.
Mio became nervous, the eyes of her classmates bore at her, silently asking who she was, she couldn't help but let her eyes drift from student to student, trying to figure out what to say to them.
Hang on…
Mio looked at her classmates again, each one of them different from the last, but some of them had features that had a calming effect on her.
Some of them were laid back.
Some of them had blue eyes.
Some of them had blonde hair.
Some of them looked like kind people.
These features only brought one person to mind, someone who had shown her nothing but kindness, someone who didn't even know and was willing to help her.
"M-My name is U-Uzumaki Mio, please treat me well" Mio bowed deeply to hide her burning face.
Why did she do that!? Why did she use her saviours last name!?.
"Alright then Uzumaki, why don't you take that seat between Toujou and Nonaka" her sensei said.
Mio nodded at her teacher, looking at the empty seat Mio saw two people sitting either side of it, on the right was a petite white haired girl, Mio assumed this was Koneko, when their eyes locked, Koneko sent the taller girl a subtle nod to which she received back.
The girl on the left of her desk, had long blue-violet hair tied up in a ponytail with a white scrunchy and yellow eyes, the young girl sent her a welcoming smile to which Mio returned.
Looks like she had found a possible friend.
As Mio sat down at her desk, she missed the dangerous look that Nonaka sent to the daughter of Lucifer, which was quickly shifted back to a smile when Mio looked back at her.
Flashback End
"...So let me get this straight, you've told everyone in your class that your last name is Uzumaki" Naruto questioned.
"Y-Yeah, when you were hallucinating, everyone found out that we had the same last name and assumed that we were siblings, I-I couldn't bring myself to deny it, that's why I called you Onii-chan in front of everyone" Mio said shamingly.
Naruto just chuckled at the redhead, throwing his arm around the girl's shoulder, pulling her into a side hug "Guess I need to get used to having an imouto, huh" He said while giving her teasing grin.
Mio blushed slightly as she squeaked from the blonde's action, "Y-Your not mad?".
"Naa, you said it yourself right? We're family" his grin settled into a soft smile.
Mio stared at Naruto for a moment, her eyes widening while her face got redder, pushing the blonde away she quickly backed away from him "D-D-Don't get the wrong idea! I-I only called you that to keep my cover!" Mio screamed at the blonde, her voice cracking from her flustered state.
"Ara ara…" Mio's eyes widened further in horror, she turned to Maria leaning against the door frame, smiling evilly at her "To think that Mio-sama had these types of fantasies about Naruto-Sama, How long before you turn this into a forbidden romance?" Maria asked cheekily.
"MARIA!" Said girl sprinted away from the raging redhead that chased after her, Naruto watched as the two ran around the apartment, laughing as they did so.
While she was running, Maria begged the blonde to save her "Naruto-sama help! Don't just stand there! Save me from you imouto!".
"You brought this on yourself ero-chibi" Naruto laughed, "Besides, you're a part of this family too right?" Maria looked towards the blonde as she slowly came to a stop, understanding what the blonde was implying, she smiled brightly at him.
"Hai!"
"Gotcha!"
"Guah!"
Naruto grimaced as he watched the smiling silverette get tackled by the raging redhead.
"Ooo, that's gotta hurt"
Time skip
The next day
"Honestly it's disgusting"
"No its not, you just don't know good food"
"Eating Instant ramen for breakfast isn't healthy, Naruto!"
Naruto and Mio, who we're currently walking to school, were arguing about the blonde's diet.
After cleaning up the mess from the girls last night, the three had a relatively peaceful night, they watched tv, chatted about the day they had at school to Maria, then turned in for the night.
The two had woken up to Maria, making them bentos, though Naruto had a few words for her when he found her trying to sneak Mio's panties into his food, When Mio came out the shower she found Maria tied up while Naruto was inhaling his favourite food, ramen.
They had been arguing about it since they had left home, right now they were walking through the park, meaning they had been arguing for the past 20 minutes.
"Well I've been eating ramen for years, and I feel fine!" He argued back.
"You.are.not.eating.ramen.for.breakfast, got it?" Mio growled threateningly.
Naruto stuck his tongue out at the girl when he thought she wasn't looking, but when Mio started cracking her knuckles, he knew he had been caught.
Naruto held his hands up in surrender "Alright! I won't eat ramen for breakfast, happy?".
"Humph!" Mio huffed as she turned away from him, the two continued on their way when…
"AAHHH!" cried a sudden feminine voice.
Naruto looked over to see a girl lying on the ground after tripping on something. "Are you alright?" asked the blond as he ran over to help the girl up with Mio trailing after him.
"Yes...thank you." replied the girl with a polite and soft voice.
The girl had long blonde hair and emerald green eyes, and was quite cute in Naruto's opinion. She was dressed in a Nun's clothes, which was odd considering her young age.
Mio was instantly on guard, not that Naruto noticed, She knew from the girl's outfit that she was a member of underworld's number one enemy, the church.
The daughter of Lucifer saw no malice in the girl's eyes though, which she found quite odd, surely this nun could sense their demonic power? Mio's eyes drifted over to the girl's bags, travel bags to be exact.
"Are you a tourist or something?" asked Mio as she picked up the fallen bag from the ground and handed it back to the girl.
The blonde girl smiled shyly and nervously poked her fingers together. "Can you please help me...I'm lost."

I have many things that I want to do with this fic and it might take me a bit of time to get the chapter's right, but I will make you all a promise, I will NOT abandon this fic, I will see it through to the end, just like you all I'm sick of reading really good fics only for them to abandoned.
