Ayeeeeee! Welcome back! I've researched and discovered that apparently I can't create a poll for whatever reason, so I'll actually gonna have to make a decision! :) Anyways, have a wonderful day, I don't own PJO, Mr. Riordan does, and have a cookie! (:) Also, before I forget, do you guys like the 'Previously On' bit or not? I'll do it this chapter, but if you don't like it I will stop.
Previously on Revenge Will Come
"The name's Polybotes!" The giant says.
--
"I'm done with the gods!" Thalia announces.
--
"Good talk, demigod, but I must kill you! You're a hazard to the population of the pit!" Polybotes explains.
--
Percy waits for the strike, but it never comes. He opens his eyes and sees an axe buried deep in Polybotes' skull.
--
A boy with a buzz cut walks out from behind a tree. "We gotta get outta here!" He exclaims.
--
"Name's Tyrese, what's yours?" He announces.
I could change my name... Percy thinks.
"My name is-"

Chapter 4: The House
Percy POV
"-Percy." (Just couldn't change it, sorry if y'all wanted different.)
"Nice to meet you Percy, but we can't stay here long; Mr. Gigante can't be far behind."
"Agreed."
We continue moving, with Tyrese in the lead. "Where are we going?" I ask.
"Home," he tells me.
"You're telling me that you have a homein TARTARUS?" I exclaim.
"Yep."
"Could I ask why?"
"Because my mother lives here."
"And she is?" I question.
"Will tell ya later, Percy. At the moment, we gotta get the heck outta here!"
"Good point."
Tyrese begins jogging, and eventually starts running. As we blitz through Tartarus, I notice the environment is getting more ominous. I watch a Cyclops get incinerated by a random spurt of fire. Cheery place, this is! Eventually, I can barely see two feet in front of me.
"Where are we?" I ask.
"The House of Night," a voice announces dramatically, and I nearly jump out of my clothes.
"Oh, come on Jen! Don't do that to my dawg like that! You'll scare him off!" Tyrese complains.
A beautiful girl enters my view. "'Your dawg'? Come on, Ty! We left the hoods of Brooklyn five years ago!"
"It sticks, sis! You didn't have to deal with the Pit Vipers like I did!"
"There are pit vipers in Brooklyn? No wonder we kept to Long Island!" I joke.
"The Pit Vipers were a gang, dude!" She says like it's obvious, "are you that dense?"
I give her the 'Percy Death Glare', which would always spook the demigods at camp, and she stares back. This goes on for a while, then she just starts laughing.
"What?" I ask.
"Not a half-bad glare," she tells me, smacking me on the back. "Or joke; I like you. My name's Jennifer, but my friends call me Jen."
"Name's Percy, nice to meet you Jen."
"I said my friends call me Jen. Making a good joke doesn't make you a friend, at least not yet. Nice to meet you Percy."
"Only my friends call me Percy. My actual name is Perseus." I smirk.
She laughs once again, then turns and leaves. "See ya later, Perseus."
"I was joking..." I whisper. I turn to look at Tyrese, and he's trying to keep from laughing.
"She's right, you're hilarious!" He exclaims. "Follow me, I'll give you a tour."
I trail him, and the visibility diminishes to one foot, then a half foot, then a quarter foot, when I suddenly trip. Once I'm back on my feet, I look down and suddenly realize it was a step, and I'm standing on the second step of what I assume is a staircase.
"You okay?" I hear Tyrese' voice in front of me.
"Yeah, just wasn't expecting a step."
"Ah yeah, that's right! You can't see! Forgot you aren't a child of Nyx." Tyrese says, walking towards me.
"Nyx?"
"Yeah, primordial goddess of night, mother of Aether and Hemera, wife of-"
"I know who she is! Your her son? That's awesome, dude!" I exclaim.
"Yeah? Wait till ya see the palace!"
Thalia POV
I ran out of the Empire State Building, cursing the gods under my breath. How could they do this to their hero? How could HE do this to Annabeth! Percy had a level head, so he must have had a reason for it, but no one will ever know, since he was alone with Annabeth at the time. Before long, I find myself in Central Park. I see a doe prancing through the woods, and pierce its heart with an arrow.
"That was a little harsh."
I scoff, and turn to see Apollo, sipping on a glass of lemonade "What do you want?" I snap.
"Hey, no need to be that way!" He scolds.
"There was no need to send Percy to Tartarus, but you guys did that anyway."
"Hey! I voted against his damnation! I tried to convince the others, but they wouldn't listen to reason!"
"Yeah, sure Apollo." I launch an arrow and kill a squirrel
"I swear on the Styx I voted against it."
I hear a thunder clap, and turn to him.
"See?" He says, exasperated.
I start crying, and Apollo places a hand on my shoulder. "I'm sorry, Thalia. Finding out about the deaths of two best friends in a single day? That sounds like hell."
"It is hell! I can only imagine how Percy is feeling, is he okay? Is he even still alive?"
"I'm not Hades, but I have a feeling he's alright. This is Percy Jackson we're talking about." Apollo reasons.
"That's true... at least he has Riptide."
"About that..." Apollo starts.
"Don't you dare tell me what I think you mean." I threaten.
"Poseidon confiscates Anaklusmos."
I scream in anger, and shoot another arrow into the nearest animal I can find. Apollo chokes, spitting out his lemonade, and I hear someone crying. I look more closely at what I shot, and realize it was a stuffed bear.
"Teddy!" A toddler shrieks.
A woman storms up to me. "What the heck is wrong with you!!"
"I am so sorry, ma'am! I thought it was a squirrel!" I say.
"Why would you shoot a friggin squirrel?"
"I'm a hunter?"
"In CENTRAL PARK? You're a safety risk to everyone! I'm calling the cops!"
"Hey, lady." Apollo whispers seductively, ripping his shirt off. "Wanna come with me?"
"Wha- What? I'm... married!" She struggles out.
He stares at her. "Okay, your choice..." he strips his pants.
"Then again, I've cheated on him before..." she reasons.
Apollo looks over at me, catching me staring at his body. "Thalia, get out of here!" He says quickly, before taking the lady towards his car.
"What just happened?" I say to myself.
"Saved your butt." Hermes answers, materializing beside me. "I'd get out of here."
"Okay, that's smart." I mutter, scale the nearest tree, and fall asleep for the night.
Percy POV
Tyrese leads me up the steps, and starts pointing towards different monuments that I can't see.
"That's Akhlys' Statue of Pain, that's Hypnos' Statue of Dreams, that's Thanatos' Statue of Death, that's- oh wait, you can't see any of this. C'mon, I'll take you to Mother."
We walk for a while, when suddenly, Tyrese kneels.
"Why'd you stop?" I ask.
"Although she's my mother, I'm not gonna risk getting incinerated, which is what'll happen to you if you don't kneel!"
"Wait, she's here?"
"Right in front of you." I hear a feminine voice say.
I immediately drop to a knee. "Forgive me, My Lady; I am unable to see and did not know I was in your great and powerful presence!" I plead.
Tyrese snickers, and eventually starts to just cackle. "Got you!"
"Rise, Perseus Jackson. Unlike those Olympians, I do not require signs of worship." The voice I assume belongs to Nyx assures.
"Mother, we wondered if you could bless Percy with the ability to see in the dark."
"Definitely." She says, and I can suddenly see.
"Wow, this is wonderful! Thank you, Lady Nyx."
"I said, Perseus, no form of worship. Please, call me Nyx."
I blink in shock. Wow, the Olympians suck! Nyx is ten times more powerful than all the Olympians combined, yet she doesn't require worship? How is she not ruler of the universe?"Because that isn't a wish of mine." She tells me.
"What, how did you... wha?" I stutter.
She smiles at me. "I'm a Primordial, Perseus. Did you really think I couldn't read minds?"
"I guess that makes sense."
"I'm gonna give Percy a proper tour, Mother, ok?" Tyrese asks.
"Go ahead."
Tyrese strolls off, and I follow.
