Fate Personified Speaking
~Elven Language~
*Foreign Languages*
(Just easier this way than trying to find the transition in the foreign language since sometimes translators aren't accurate & I don't wish to upset someone who is fluent by messing it up and it be complete nonsense.)
Disclaimer: Only my OC belongs to me and the storyline about my OC, Twilight & True Blood do not belong to me.

3rd Person POV:
"Evelyn as Vhenan you made yourself one of a kind. You saw all the war & suffering. You knew if you became an ancient elf as your pupils, the "elven gods," wanted that some of them would try to enslave you for your power." Fate told Evelyn, remembering how she fooled the Evanuris.
(The "elven gods" who were just some older powerful elven mages that started off being seen as war heros, then nobles, then royalty. As they gained more power they became power hungry. Till they eventually made the younger generation believe they were gods. Taking what they wanted be it power, land, things & people as slaves, etc.)
"So you made yourself something more, that no one could duplicate without you willingly aiding them. You called yourself The Elven Fae." Fate waited to see how Evelyn would react and didn't disappoint.
"Elven Fae?! Like I created my physical form, as Vhenan, to be the first ever Fae in Ancient Thedas, but how the Dragon Age video games never made it seem the fairies were ever a race there?!" Evelyn exclaimed. -As Vhenan I was one powerful being. First the Evanuris, elves believed to be gods, were my students and I was more powerful than even them. To the point I decided to make myself a whole new race to keep them from using me for even more power... I can see that. After all it's known they almost destroyed their world trying to get even more power. If Fen'Harel hadn't of stopped them they would have.-
(Little information for those that don't know. Fen'Harel or the Dread Wolf, was a spirit-borne ancient elf born from a spirit of Pride. Solas, meaning pride in the elven language, had become kin to the "elven gods" for how powerful he was in his magic. Solas was known in Ancient times as Fen'Harel the God of Rebellion. He came to his power later then the Evanuris did, at first indulged in the pleasures he got from his new position. Till he saw the truth of what the Evanuris were doing, enslaving and killing their people to gain more power. He no longer wanted to be a god, but would use it to his advantage. Creating the Slave Rebellion freeing slaves and fighting wars for freedom. Later creating the Veil. Which was a magical barrier that separated the Fade, a magical part of the world where dreams and magic came from, from the waking/physical world. Trapping the Evanuris behind the Veil to save his people, but without knowing that he had also separated the elven people from their connection to magic. Making only the stronger in magical power keep their connection, though weakened a bit. Causing the rest, like commoners or ex-slaves, to lose their immortality and some lost the very little magic they had. The elven people losing their history to time and knowing only the little that was past down by word of mouth. No longer remember their true history seeing the Evanuris as their just and true gods. Using the Evanuris' vallaslin, slave tattoo markings, to honor them. While Fen'Harel became the Betrayer & Bringer of Nightmares, the Trickster God.)
"Remember even though Earth showed you these other worlds in different formats of stories believed to be fantasy. They were not completely accurate. Yes, as Vhenan you made yourself into a whole new species never seen in the world of Ancient Thedas before or since you were there as Vhenan." Fate told Evelyn and wondered how she would take it when she finally remembered her life as Vhenan. Hopefully remembering her past would not pain her as it once did.
"As Vhenan you wanted the physical form you were going to take to be different, but still have elven qualities. So you came up with the Elven Fae. You wanted your physical form to look similar to an elf's, but make it uniquely you. Where elves were tall, you made your Elven Fae form smaller. Though a bit taller than the dwarves with a lithe built to still be graceful, fast & agile. To make up for your new shorter height you gave yourself wings to fly. Wings that you made especially to represent who you are at heart. Though you made it so you could hide them within your back as a tattoo on your skin saying that not all deserved to have such a glimpse of your spirit by seeing your wings." Fate reminisced fondly about the time he had asked Vhenan why she hid her beautiful wings away from the world.
-I wonder what my wings looked like. Were they beautiful? I would hope so with that dreamy quality Fates' voice just took talking about them.- "Is that all I change then?" Evelyn wondered how much she changed to be different from the ancient elves.
"No Little One, as Vhenan you even change your life's blood giving it many properties. It would enhance your healing abilities to make you heal from any wound and cause your very bones to become indestructible. As well to make sure the Evanuris would never be able to enslave you with their vallaslin. For blood magic was used to apply them on a physical being. To make the magic work they would need both their blood and yours. So you made your blood venomous when unwillingly given or taken." Fate's amusement clearly heard in his voice.
"Andruil, the supposed "Goddess of the Hunt" was the first to learn that you were no prey for her to hunt. Your blood becomes poisonous to all those who would take it without your blessing. She had tried to force her will on you by taking your blood to force her vallaslin on you." Fate's voice grew hard at the memory. Evelyn could clearly see the scene in her mind's eye. -I wonder if I'm starting to remember my life as Vhenan.-
"When Andruil tried to finish the blood magic ritual, drinking from the goblet she had placed her blood with yours. When she had planned to force you to drink it after she had to finish the enslavement, she & the others, would be gods, learned you would bow to no one. Your blood had poisoned her and caused her great agonizing pain. Not even Sylaise (The Hearthkeeper, Goddess of all domestic arts. Known for how great she was at healing magic.) could heal her. When Sylaise could not heal her sister she had begged you to forgive her sister's transgressions and to save her from your venomous blood." Fate told Evelyn. While she was lost in thought reliving the moment this happened within her mind.
"The "elven gods," your former pupils, learned that while your blood was venomous when taken unwillingly. It would mystically heal when given with your blessing. Though you had told them it could heal almost all things. It would make it so Andruil would not die right that moment like it normally would anyone who did what she had done. That she could not be healed of the poison within Vhenan's blood only slowed the poison for an unknown amount of time. It would slowly drive her to madness. Eventually she would die a slow and painful death by the poison for there was no cure." Fate had finished telling his tale of Vhenan's creation of her unique blood.
-Well can't say Andruil didn't have that coming. She is known for using force and causing bloodshed. Just to make her hunts more enjoyable for herself. Not to mention power hungry like the rest of them, beside Fen'Harel and Mythal.-
(Mythal is known as The Protector & The All-Mother, Goddess of love. Patron of motherhood and justice and led the other gods with her husband, Elgar'nan. Who was known as the All-Father, God of Vengeance representing fatherhood and vengeance.)
"What happened after that then? Did anything of significance happen to me as Vhenan after I took physical form? Will I remember my life as Vhenan?" Evelyn had so many questions that still needed answers. Though the reason Fate wanted to speak with her, bringing her to this place where time & space didn't exist. Had started to piece together little by little before her.
Fate smiled, though Evelyn would not be able to tell in his form of light. He knew that she would soon see part of the bigger picture he had shown her through his tale of her past life.
"Your past will come back to you slowly in glimpse and pieces so as not to overwhelm your mind." Fate told Vhenan kindly, though he reminded himself she went by Evelyn now. Then went on to answer her questions. It was the least he could do for his dear friend.
"When They all realized how great your power was instead of making you an enemy they had tried to make you an ally by making you an honorary goddess like them. Even when you didn't wish to be called a goddess. You were known to the elven people as Nyx the Mistress of Night, Keeper of Dreams, Goddess of Hope & Aspirations. The elven people would pray and go to you with their hopes and dreams. Giving them the hope that the dreams they aspired for could become reality." Fate told her with pride even in his voice.
-I was known as the Goddess of Hopes & Aspirations?! I aspired people to have hope and reach for their dreams!- Evelyn knew she could be really positive, but to the point to inspire people to reach for their dreams and gave them the hope that they would reach them. It sounded crazy to her, but she could tell Fate would have no reason to lie to her.
Hearing her thoughts Fate was proud of his dear friend that she was still his dear friend Vhenan. That she had healed from her old wounds and has grown even more. He knew she would be able to have what he had to say next.
"You had given hope to the elven people when it seemed there was none. Had Fen'Harel question all he knew to see the truth of the world. When he started the Slave Rebellion, you were at his side aiding him in giving freedom and hope of a better life to those who had none. Though with that came war for freedom and bloodshed on the battlefields." Fate recalled what passed to have his friend end up in his presence.
"While Fen'Harel had started to make his spell that would make the Veil, to try to stop the Evanuris. You had gone to look for a safe place for the people using the eluvians. (Eluvian is elvish for "seeing glass" and are a magical mirror used in Arlathan to communicate and travel great distances. Sort of like the Floo Network in Harry Potter, but instead of fireplaces it's mirrors that are shaped like a body mirror. Just bigger, some big enough to let a few people walk through together and some big enough to have many wagons or an army to go through at once.) Going through the eluvians that had yet to be traveled and leading to the unknown. Thinking they may lead to a hidden place or even another realm. You went with thought to save many lives from those power hungry "elven gods." Later on when Mythal was killed by the others for secretly helping you and Fen'Harel free their slaves. To get her out of the way and try to gain her power for themselves, did Fen'Harel lose himself to his rage & sorrow for his friend and mentor. That he started his plan to put the Veil up even though unfinished." Fate said knowing he was close to finishing his explanation as to why he had brought her here to speak with him. Soon Fate would take her to where she was destined to go next.
I know it may be taking a bit, but I promise the next chapter will be when she finally knows who she is and will be sent to the Twilight/ True Blood world.
