The next day, Jonouchi was called out at his normal time to go to Kaiba's office. Jonouchi tensed, unsure of what he'd have to deal with this time.

"Now." Seto was sitting at his desk this time. "We did it your way. Now you will do it my way. You will wear what is in that box,"he gestured to a rather large white box sitting on a table, "and be in the cafeteria tonight at 7pm. You will not be having dinner with the others tonight." Seto was busy writing, not looking up.

Jonouchi glared daggers, "So what's the plan then if I'm doing things your way?"

"You will be on a date with...Anzu." Seto's knuckles went white around his pen, but he kept writing, not looking up.

Jonouchi groaned in annoyance, "Fine, but I won't like it."

Seto kept writing. "You are supposed to have an open mind." Knuckles whiter.

"I make no promises about that," he warned.

Seto glared. Between Yami's confession and his confusion over Jo, he hadn't slept last night. There were bags under his eyes. He stood suddenly, walking around the desk. Trying to contain his anger, he glared coldly at Jonouchi. "Let me make this clear. If you do not put forth appropriate effort in this exercise, you will have your privileges stripped...and your podmates will have commissary deprivation for a month, along with you."

"Good to know," Jo glared.

"Do you enjoy being so Ra damned stubborn?" Seto hissed, sleep deprivation, undiagnosed jealousy, and sexual frustration getting to him and putting him on edge.

"It's just how I am, ice cube," the blond growled, eyes defiant.

"What the fuck do you want, exactly? Besides to get out of this fucking place?" Seto exploded.

"What I want is none of your business," he snapped. "Besides you don't care. No one does."

Seto sighed, rubbing his eyes. "I care more than you know." he said tiredly, the edge of anger off of his voice.

"Really? You have a strange way of showing it," Jo eyed Seto warily as he muttered those words.

"You don't know me, either." The brunette whispered tiredly.

"Yeah, I know," Jo sighed, wanting to get to know the doctor better, even though he didn't know why since they fought all the time.

"Just go on the date, Jonouchi, please." Kaiba pleaded. His voice unnaturally...drained.

"Fine," Katsuya growled, leaving the doctor to do this dumb date. If he had to do therapy at night, he wasn't going to sit there and listen to psychotherapy bullshit all day too. At 7 that evening, Jo came to the cafeteria; Anzu was there, in a pretty purple dress. Jonouchi had been given dress pants, a dress shirt, suit coat jacket and tie.

Seto was watching, for therapy purposes, from a room through a camera.

Anzu smiled. "H..hi Jonouchi." She really wasn't much older than Jonouchi. She had on a small amount of makeup. Jo noticed, and appreciated, that the dress was modestly cut.

"Hi," he said, forcing a smile on his lips.

"Hi. I..I really don't know what I'm doing here. Dr. Kaiba is given great leeway in his therapy. He told me he wanted me to go on a date with you." she blushed again. Seto wanted to punch her in the face.

"I don't either," Jo admitted. He didn't blush, he wasn't interested.

"Well, uh...why don't we sit down and eat?" She smiled.

"Sure," he shrugged, sitting down with her.

She tried to make some small talk. Seto wanted to kill her.

Jonouchi tried to converse with her. He felt awkward and didn't really enjoy the dinner.

She flirted with him. Seto's face went red.

Jonouchi had no idea how to react to that. He's never experienced a girl flirting with him. She was very complimentary. "I heard you were really strong and you liked working out." she batted her eyes a bit.

Seto was going to poison her Pepsi.

"Um, yes I am strong," he blushed.

"Wanna go to the gym after we eat and show me?" she teased.

Seto would bludgeon her in her sleep.

"I worked out yesterday so maybe not," he answered gently. "I try to give my muscles a break in between days."

Seto smirked.

Anzu sighed, looking a bit disappointed. "Well, can I at least see your arm muscles?" looking up through lashes she smiled gently.

Seto was going to cut her brake lines.

"Sure," he let her feel his muscles, blushing now as she seemed way too interested.

She swooned a bit. Blushing deeper, she felt his arms. "Wow...you are strong."

Yep, bitch gonna die. Seto broke a pencil.

Jonouchi blushed, "T-Thanks.."

She giggled. "S..sorry. I just...I really like arms." she whispered.

Seto was going to rip off her arms and beat her with them.

"Any reason why?" Jo asked curiously.

She blushed so hard. "I...I like strength."

Seto was going to rip her head off and shit down her neck.

"I see," he mused.

Small talk continued until dessert was had. Finally, Jo heard the words he had been waiting to hear since Seto proposed this ludicrous date.

"Um..well, I need to go. G'nite." She leaned up and kissed Jonouchi on the lips gently.

Seto broke his keyboard. In half. Over his knee. While figuring out the quickest way she could bleed out from a spoon to the eye, so it would hurt. A lot.

"Night," Jo said softly, returning to his room, noticing Yugi wasn't there, but glad that piece of hell was done.

Seto went to his room that he kept here at the hospital, slamming his door, trying to figure out the precise size of spoon needed to hurt the most and cause the most disfigurement.

Yugi limped into the room. His day sucked. His therapy was cancelled, so he was allowed to stay in class for the day. He did so, but that meant that he had to go to gym class. And that was where it started. He hadn't really had to go to gym class before as his therapy was during that same time. Since he had to go to class that day, he quickly became a target for Bonz and his gang. And why the teacher thought dodgeball was a good idea, Yugi had no clue. Until he found out it wasn't gym class he was in. He had been transferred to Dr. Necrophades and this was his first "therapy" appointment. In any event, he hurt. He was pretty sure he had messed up his elbow...he couldn't straighten it well. He hoped Jo wasn't there, he just wanted to lay down, cover up, and not worry about anything. He didn't feel like explaining the day to Jo. He knew Jo would feel responsible. His eye was almost swollen shut, so he had sunglasses on. Seeing no one in the room, he quickly changed and covered up. Hearing the door open, Yugi feigned sleep.

"Mr. Mutou?" The voice wasn't Jo's. Curiously, he looked up and saw an orderly with brown hair, the name tag stating that his name was "Honda"

"Yes?" Yugi asked curiously. He hadn't gone to dinner, but they didn't usually force you to eat, so he was confused as to why the orderly was there.

"We gotta get your stuff. You are being relocated." Yugi grabbed his glasses, slipping them on as he nodded quietly. Grabbing a bag, Yugi started collecting items. Honda grabbed the other and led Yugi to his new room.

Walking in, the room was dim. Honda handed Yugi his other bag with a sympathetic smile. Sighing, Yugi walked in quietly, noticing there were bunk beds and that the bottom bunk was occupied. Biting his bottom lip, he started putting his valuables in the locked drawer. Climbing up the ladder and slipping under the covers, Yugi slipped off his glasses, wondering who his roommate was, hoping it wasn't Bonz. Slipping off to sleep, Yugi succumbed to the darkness.

Around midnight, Yugi yawned and sat up. Stretching, his stomach twisted nervously. He had no idea who his roommate was, nor why he was moved in the first place. Suddenly, he heard the toilet flush. As the bathroom door opened, Yugi stared in shock and confusion as Yami walked in from the bathroom in grey sweatpants. Stopping, blinking, Yami's face went pale and he said nothing.

"D...Doctor Sennen...what are you doing here?" Yugi gulped, confused but also grateful at the semi darkness that would be hiding his blackened eye.

Swallowing thickly, Yami cut his eyes away from Yugi. "I committed myself. I couldn't continue to treat patients when I was engaging in the same type of behavior as I was supposed to cure. I especially couldn't continue to treat patients when I started falling in love with one of my male patients." He wouldn't look up.

"F...falling in love?" Yugi whispered. He didn't want to hope...his stomach was in a knot, torn between fear of it being someone else Yami's heart belonged to and hope of it being himself who was the object of Yami's affection.

Yami looked up, crimson eyes shimmering. "Yes, Yugi. I'm falling in love with you. I don't expect you to still love me, but after your explosion the other date, I couldn't deny any longer that I loved you and that I don't, and have never, seen what was wrong with homosexuality, except for the lack of procreation. But, I promise you, I did not request you as a roommate. I would not force that upon you. I will talk to Seto and see about changing rooms, if you do not want to room with me." He stood straight and tall, but Yugi thought that Yami never looked more vulnerable.

Yugi's emotions were tangled and complex. On the one hand, he was happy Yami was rooming with him and seemingly, falling for him, paving the way for a relationship. On the other hand, how could Yami give up normalcy and willingly lock himself in here? And on another hand, how coincidental was it that Yugi got moved into Yami's room? But then, Seto and Yami had done rooming assignments, so maybe Seto was trying to be nice to Yami? But, if Seto knew the reason why Yami was committed, and no doubt he did, why would Seto set Yami in the same room as Yugi, when that would only encourage the behavior Seto was trying to quash? And, was it Yugi's fault that Yami chose to be committed? If Yugi hadn't blown up earlier, Yami may have never gone down this path? Sighing, Yugi shook his head and placed his head in his hands.

Mistaking confusion for rejection, Yami kept himself in check. Picking up the phone in his room, he dialed a number. Yugi heard Yami's voice, "I need to speak to you Seto. Did you room me with Yugi?" Yugi jerked his head up.

"What are you doing?" Yugi asked.

"Finding you a different roommate." Yami stated simply.

"B...but I don't want another roommate!" Yugi yelped, crawling down off of the bunk bed and coming closer to Yami.

"Yugi, you just shook your head no when…" suddenly, Yami hung up the phone and rushed up, seeing Yugi's purple eye and gingerly reached for Yugi's face to inspect it. "Are you ok?" Yami asked, worried at seeing Yugi hurt.

"Huh? Oh…" Yugi averted his gaze. "Yes, I'm okay."

"What happened?" Yami asked, leading Yugi over to a bed to sit down on.

"I..." he leaned over, turning on the lamp. He turned to face Yami, his eye purple and swollen shut. Gulping, he looked up at Yami. "It's my new therapy with my other therapist, Dr. Necrophades. He is calling it "Societal Therapy"...he brought a bunch of guys that are normal in, told them what was wrong with me, then left me alone with them for about 20 minutes. They decided to play dodgeball with me as the target."

Yami growled angrily, "Those bastards... It's ok, Yugi. You have me. We'll get through this."

Yugi nodded. "I really hurt though, but Dr. Necrophades said I couldn't go to the nurse."

"That's not good," Yami frowned. "Zorc wasn't supposed to start until next week."

"I hope painkillers are on the commissary list." Yugi stated ruefully. Snapping his head up, Yami grabbed the phone, attempting to call Seto again. After having a quick conversation Yugi couldn't really hear, Yami hung up and came over to sit by Yugi.

"Does anything else hurt?" Yami asked.

"My left elbow." Yugi responded truthfully.

Nodding, Yami gently inspected the elbow. "Well, nothing is broken, it looks to be a bad bruise. Try not to use it too much, alright?" The crimson eyes shone with worry. Yugi nodded, leaning on Yami. Yugi almost fell back asleep, but the knocking of the door jarred him awake. Walking over, Yami opened the door and Seto came in with a small bag.

Turning on the lights as Yugi squinted, Seto cursed under his breath at seeing Yugi's face. As he pulled out some medicine, he handed it to Yugi. "Take two of these for pain every six hours, as needed. Any other injuries?"

Yami looked at Seto. "He bruised his elbow, but nothing is broken."

"Good." Seto stated. After doing concussion protocol to rule out a concussion, Seto turned to leave. "Goodnight c…"

"Zorc allowed this to happen to him with his "Societal Therapy" bullshit," Yami growled as Seto's face registered surprise.

"How the hell did he already get in here? He wasn't supposed to start until Monday?" Seto asked, incredulous.

"How the hell do I know. You need to get Becc finished, tomorrow. Or we are all doomed." Yami's face was set in a grim line. While Seto knew his cousin was prone to hyperbole, he also knew that, this time, his cousin was 100% accurate. With a small nod, Seto turned and walked out, shutting the door behind him.
