Marinette felt her body hover and she felt light as a feather. She opened her eyes wide to look at herself.

She had a sleeveless pink frock, her leg was covered with silk pants and dark pink ballet shoes covered her legs. She found a pink transparent mask on her face. But something she found new was her wings. They were small but it carried her well.

Marinette was fascinated by it and tried flapping it. She began flying and went out of the hospital. It felt blissful to be out of that atmosphere. Marinette felt the breeze and the pain didn't bother her anyway.

"Don't forget, I need Ladybug and Cat Noir's miraculous." Hawkmoth interrupted her vision.

"Wait what?!" She rubbed her eyes and Hawkmoth replied, "With this power you can give people happiness. All I ask is their miraculouses.

"No." Marinette answered.

"You will" Hawkmoth ordered."I can take away your power and you'll fall down and hurt yourself. I didn't give you the power to destroy or harm."

Marinette decided to go with Hawkmoth. She flew over Paris and found a man trying to take a bag from a woman. She pulled out a lace from her wing and tied up the man. The man struggled.

"Job's done, here you go ma'am."

The lady gave a confused look and generously took the bag.

"Thank you dear, nice costume by the way."

Marinette giggled and turned to the man who came towards her. She put up a defensive position.

"What do you think you are doing?!" He shouted. Marinette raised a brow.

"YOU LET HER ESCAPE WITH MY BAG!"

The others around nodded with the man. She chuckled nervously and dashed to catch the real thief.

After few minutes-

"Here.. you...go." Marinette panted as the man snorted and left.

Adrien got down from the car in front of the hospital. He went in to see the Dupain family arguing with the authority of the hospital. Alya and some friends stood behind them.

He heard Alya saying Marinette not being in her bed. Nino assumed that she might be taken by an akumatized person or...

She must be akumatized!

Adrien thought and sprinted to the washroom.

Plagg: "We just finished our mission."

Adrien: "That's last night."

Plagg: "But still I'm tired".

Adrien: "Marinette must be so sad. She must be pressured to get well. I guess I shouldn't have asked her to dance with me earlier."

Plagg: "Relax, she must be fine.

"But... I still got a long way to go in being friends huh?" He opened his phone and didn't find any reports.

Plagg: "Strange, no news flash."

Adrien: "Marinette is not someone who causes trouble for people, she loves helping people. Just like me and milady. Come to think of it. Plagg, is Ladybug um... Marinette?"

Plagg: "Nah! Of course not! You know she is clumsy."

Adrien: "But Ladybug too was clumsy in the start-"

Plagg: "Do you want to save your friend or not?"

Adrien: "Yeah yeah Plagg, CLAWS OUT!"

Cat Noir jumped on the roofs and stopped when he saw Ladybug chasing a girl with wings.

"Marinette wait!" She cried. The black cat leapt across and stopped her with his staff. She managed to escape after confusing them with the lace ribbons.

"I'm trying to help people, you don't have to stop me!"

She darted out of their grasps.

Ladybug fell and looked up, "What now? I would let her go if she wasn't akumatized."

Cat Noir: "But doesn't Hawkmoth want our miraculouses?"

Ladybug gasped, "Then?"

They rushed in a jiffy. They found her arguing with herself. Suddenly she changed back to her original form mid air. Ladybug immediately called out her lucky charm. It turned out to be a fluffy blanket.

Cat Noir realised the trick this time. Since Marinette's back wasn't in a condition to be carried around with, she needed a support or a blanket!

"Ladybug give it to me!"

The black cat jumped forward to catch her. Ladybug got the cue and launched her yo-yo with force. It formed a web under them. Cat Noir carefully wrapped her with the blanket. He sprang on the web and flew across the city. Cat Noir located the hospital and entered through a window.

He slowly placed Marinette on the bed. She opened her eyes and blinked after seeing the black cat.

Marinette: "C - cat Noir?"

Cat Noir: "Phew... you're okay. Are you?"

Marinette: "I am."

Cat Noir: "Looks like I didn't increase your pain".

Marinette: "How did you know I had pain? And that I am the patient of this hospital?"

Cat Noir: " Er... I saw the emblem."

Ladybug hopped from the window.

"I must admit, you are the first one to cause the least damage. Miraculous Ladybug."

The blanket under Marinette disappeared and ladybugs flew out of it.

Ladybug: "Did Hawkmoth take away your power?"

Marinette: "Yeah, I refused to take away your miraculous and you know the rest."

Cat Noir: "Whoa...I must say, you are a real hero without a miraculous."

The girls smiled at that.

Cat Noir: "Well then.. I hope you get well soon ."

Ladybug: "Same here..for now take care."

Marinette: "Thank you so much!"

She felt warm inside that she had many well wishers around. She felt truly blessed and knew there was one thing testing her, patience.

I made a rough sketch of how Lace Angel looks, I think that wasn't a good name at all.
